Quadrant Televentures / Connectzone.in / Connect Broadband — legal notice for claim of rs. 3675 over dead wifi connection

This is regarding my complaint of connect wifi connection which was active for the duration of jan 2017 to may 2017 i. E. We disconnected the wifi connection by the end of may 2017 for a new broadband connection as before dsl service was not available in our area... Fast forward to 14 november 2017 i. E. Today i received a legal notice from quadrant ventures (Connectzone) with them claiming an amount of rs. 3675 for the dead wifi connection!!....

Quadrant Televentures / Connectzone.in / Connect Broadband — harassment by sending fake bill when the disconnection with full payment and modem submission done

I took the connect broadband connection for my grandmother who is herself not able to come out of the house and get things done for herself. I am from panchkula and she lives in patiala. However, connection didnt work out as well and I got it disconnected on[protected], for the telephone 5063678 and receipt given to me had number 95134. The submission of modem and full payment was done one the same date at sco 10, chhotti bardari, patiala....

I have a connect broadbend connection at home... This month our net was not working for approximately 15 days... When we compalint the local vender about it... He just did not do anything but gave lame excuses everytime... After 1 week when we got frustated enough... I finnally called in their head office to either resolve our complaint or disconnect our connection... It was then only that my complaint with local vendor never got lodged only... Now at the end of the month... After= providing such worse services they have shown up on our door with full month bill in their hand... When i asked them to less 15 days charges for which they did not provide us any services... They refused... Kindly adddress my grievance as soon as possible as they cheating customers with such indifferent attitude.

    Good afternoon! Greeting from clickandkatch!

    We had taken the connect connection in july-2017 & that time ms - pooja is in touch with you for the details of the plans and rent.

    She told us we should get minimum 16mbps speed for broadband as well the free handset on purchase this broad band connection.

    We hold applied for the three connections which is two landline + one broad band. But when your installation team come to our office to fix the connection they said we will get max 4mbps speed which is too much slow as committed from pooja (Model town branch jalandhar), we talked with her same time and she again committed with 72 hours it should be change but after till the time its not done.

    We didn't received even handset which she is giving us free of cost with broad band connection. After no solution from her then we called to the customer care team and register our complaint and they committed to resolve the issue with in 72 hiurs but till the time nothing happend even we called three to four times on your call center but didn't get any respounce from them.

    Now we are not interested any more to use services of connect any more and more over we didn't utilized any services and there is no reason to pay the bill these bill will be payable by ms pooja who is done miss guidance totally just sail the connection to get achieve there targets.

    Complaint no[protected] still there is no repounce we get against this register complaint.

    Kindly remove from our office your broadband box else we can throw from our side on the road.

    Note - all the times you asked customer not paying bill but you never ever ready to look what issues done from your side & if issue on your end so why customer will be in face and pay for the same.

    Hi Everybody

      Connect broadband no. [protected] is not in working//internet not
      Working from 24th of morning & for the rectification already complaint
      Has been logged complaint no. Is i6666521. But now 3:15pm of 25th.
      Still no response from your side. I feel your service is very slow as
      Well i think very bad also. Our all internet relalated work has
      Stopped. Please suggest me if i go for any other brand or can you guyes
      Fixup my problem.

        I got a connect broadband connection installed on 06/01/2017 with rs. 749 plan and was promised a speed of 4 mbps and 20 gb of data. But the speed was only 2 mbps. I was assured that the speed will be changed to 4 mbps the same day, which did not happen and i had to continuously call the customer care, the sales guy, the tech guy and their supervisors so many times for about a week to get the speed fixed. Then, i was told about rs. 849 plan in which i could get unlimited local and national calls. The rep told me that they will be arranging for a technician who will come to install the telephone line but before that they will have to port my connection from dsls to dsl or something. But nobody turned up till date..

        I went to panchkula office and a rep told me that my plan has already been changed to rs. 849 - who authorized this change without the phone installed? She promised me that she will get this fixed and the connection speed will be back to normal in an hour or two. Even that did not happen

        On 24/02/2017, i wrote and email: "hello please disconnect my internet connection after this current billing cycle. I am fed up of talking to your customer service and no one is able to attend to my complaints."

        On 04/03/2017, i recieved a reply: "dear connect customer, thank you for writing to us. We acknowledge the receipt of your request for disconnection of your connect number dsls383844 vide your e-mail dated 24/02/2017. We would like to inform you that billing of your connect number has been stopped temporarily." i also recieved a phone call saying the bill will be corrected soon, which never happened.

        On 25/03/2017, i sent you an email: "hello, can somebody please go through the series of communication i had with your reps and managers and resolve my billing issue please? I am getting calls every now and ten about why i am not paying my bills? I am still waiting for you guys to adjust extra charges on my bill and send the balance outstanding so that i can pay that … thanks chander shekhar

        On 30/03/2017 i got a reply:"dear connect customer, this is in reference to your e-mail enquiring for the bill confirmation. We would like to inform you that disconnection of your connect number dsls383844 is under process, billing for same has been stopped and for full & final bill please confirm us after complete disconnection process of 60 days to help you further.

        You guys kept on calling me to pay the bills without providing me for the final bill and without caring to disconnect the account.

        On 16/05/2017, i sent you an email again to follow up: "hi, could you please let me know the current status of the below case and provide me with the final bill after required adjustments? Thanks, chander shekhar

        On 18/05/2017 i sent you a follow up email again but no body was caring to reply or update me. Rather i kept on getting calls all day to pay you the bill. The somebody called me and advised me that the disconnection is already under process and the account will be disconnected in back date only provided i clear my outstanding balance. I explained him of how they are billing me without installing a phone connection and in spite of my requests to stop the billing. He assured me he will fix the issue and send me a confirmation email.

        On 25/05/2017 you sent me an email: dear connect customer, this is in reference to your e-mail enquiring for the bill confirmation. We would like to inform you that as per our telephonic discussion with you, applicable rental waiver of rs.551/- has been approved against your connect number dsls383844, so you are requested to clear your rest outstanding amount of rs.1498/- enable us to post the waiver.

        On 28/05/2017, i sent you an email:"hi there, as per our discussion and below email, i have made the payment of 1498 via paytm vide order number [protected] on 28/05/2017. Kindly confirm the receipt of this payment and post the waiver. Thanks, chander shekhar

        Now guess what??? I again recieved a bill for an outstanding amount???

        On 23/08/2017 i sent you an email: "are you guys out of your mind??? Is there any manager or a logical person who can read all the below emails??? I paid 1498 to you guys even without using the internet and nobody came to install the phone and i kept on fighting to get the connection disconnected since 27 january 2017, and now i am getting a message and i still owe you rs. 1000??? What the hell is going on? You want me to go to a consumer court and seek a legal remedy??? Shekhar

        On 29/08/2017, i recieved a reply:" dear connect customer this is in reference to your e-mail enquiring for the connect services. We would like to inform you that as checked in system, services of your connect number has already been activated and your outstanding amount of rs. 988/- is pending with us, so you are requested to clear the same to get uninterrupted services."

        What the hell??? Who told you to activate the account when i am continuously telling you to disconnect it???

        Now i am receiving call again to clear the outstanding payment???

          This is regarding my wifi broadband connection for Account number 2523670 and connect phone number.
          The WIFI has been non-functional for more than a month now. I want to terminate it. I logged on to the website and found a bill of 3, 304! But why the bill is being charged when it was not functional at all.
          Moreover after contacting them for weeks on email, they are asking me to submit the router and accessories by my own to their office. I stay outside the city and my parents can't do that. It's so unprofessional of them. Who does it this way?
          If I won't pay you for a year, will you keep on charging me for whole year? I want a valid amount of payment for which the WIFI has been functional i.e for a month which comes around 1k. Also, I won't pay a penny more than that

            Dear team
            As suggested by head office chandigarh i visited the connect broadband office ludhiana elite arcade office on 10.08.17 to disconnect the services.
            There ms. Ritu asked me to submit modem & rs. 550 as full & final payment.
            As above i submitted modem and made payment. Now they are harassing by posting bills after disconnection.
            Kindly help.

                This is karan verma from house no. 1125, sector 23 b, chandigarh. The connection is on my name [protected]. I am really very very frustrated with connecting service. I have started a new connection 9 months ago. Since the day of installation connection is not working, many times complained to your customer portal for solve my technical problems. Still, there is no permanent solution from your side. I must say i had made mistake to take a connection from connecting. I am still requested to your customer portal to solve my networking issue but nobody comes to my home till two days and this problem after four days generated. Last month your office employees contact me on my above telephone number to solve the issue and issue waiver amount to adjust the connection bills amount but nobody till coming to my home and solve this issue.
                2. I need a serious reply from company side and i want to disconnect my internet connection, but till now nobody solves my technical as well as wrong money bill generated.in that case, i will not pay any bill which is sent by the company to us that is sure from my side. Because the net is not working since the day of month june so i am not liable to pay any bill.
                Kindly look into the matter.

                    I have requested your customer care for change of my connection from ftth to fttb on june 26th 2017, but till now (Almost around 1.5 months) nothing happened. I lodged complaint with complaint id 15346122 to customer care but they resolved complaint without intimating me. I have to call customer care for knowing what happened, then they said i have to deposit my id proof to customer care points. I have visited your sector 35 branch on july 21st, 2017 around 4 pm with my adhaar card copy with original but they (Jyoti with phone # [protected]) refused to take the copy saying there is no requirement of it as it only required in case of address change. I also requested her for change of my plan to rs 999 (75gb monthly data) from rs. 949. Then i again visited the sector 35 branch on july 27th 2017. Jyoti promised me everything will be done in day or two but till now nothing happened. Two times visit to branch, numerous calls to customer care requesting migration and change of plan but all in vain. I am calling jyoti since saturday and this morning but she’s not picking up. Why she has been given phone if she won’t respond to customers. I don’t know what kind of service i am getting from connect broadband which show #1 broad band service in punjab. If this #1 broadband service i don’t know what will i get in #2.

                      I wasn't satisfied with the service, my internet never worked. Whenever i raised the complaints they always says they will send someone to help but nothing happened. So i requested them to disconnect my number. They temporary disconnected the number on april 28th. For permanent disconnection i had to clear the outstanding (394/-). I got an email that my billing has been stopped, i told them to allow me a discount because my internet didn't work for 15 days so why do i have to pay for the whole month. Well it took me about a month with all these arguments then finally i was willing to disconnect the number for permanent so i visited to the local office then they told me i have to pay 1400/-. I said bill for the month is 394 (With late fee charges). So 1100 for what? They said i have to pay the bill until today but i said i received an email that billing had been stopped at the time of temporary disconnection. They said continue your connection and pay 394, otherwise i have to pay 1400 for permanent disconnection. I went to the national consumer help they asked me to write the matter to appellate authority, i did it almost took me about 20 days, then i received an email from appellate authority that i just have to visit the local office again and pay them 394/-. Again i went to the local office. But nothing helped, a person (Surinder singh crm head ludhiana branch) kept harassing me that i have to pay 1100/- sometimes it's 1400/-. I don't get it. Please i want you to resolve this issue for me. I work and study i have no time to get into this stuff and i really have no time to spend into this stuff. I am very busy with studying and working both. I hope you will provide me with the best solution.

                        The vandors of connect broadband calling me as a fake lawyers and continuous messaging me on daily basis approximate 3-4 messages daily that they will file a case against me due to non-payment of bill and harassing me on call when i am calling them. I am fed up. Also they are sending me fake messages for the court case and hearings. Where i didn't use their services from last 1 and half year and they are noe harassing me that way. Their team is totally fake and having a rude behavoiur. If i call them then they do not even litsen to my words and using bad words. Such a bad company and having bad customer relationship qualities.

                          I used the connect brandboard. The person who comes to take documents and giving router gives wrong informations about plans etc. After a month they make a bill of 1850. The plan he tells me is of 650. I pay the amount after another month they maked the another bill of 5000. I also payed that. After that i think to disconnect my connection from connect. I call customer care to disconnect my internet connection they refuces my appeal. After a month they send a bill of 8000. Then i don't payed that bill, i said customer care why i give you that bill my plan is on 850, so they say me that they will do case on me, they do case on me then i give a full and final amount of 12000 and they said that your connection is disconnect my internet connection. I have full of documents of noc, full and final reciept etc. After that day they send me bill every month of 15000, 18000 etc. They call me every day they force me to pay bills. Why??? I pay the bill my internet connection is disconnected?? They every day

                            I have been committed that i will get 3 free anti virus keys every month. It's been more than 6 months i have not got any key. I requested them to reimburse me the money as they were not able to deliver what they committed and ask for disconnection.

                            I clearly mentioned in my emails and call requests that i need the reimbursement settlement before disconnection. However they disconnect without reimbursement...
