I got a connect broadband
connection installed on 06/01/2017 with rs. 749 plan and was promised a speed of 4 mbps and 20 gb of data. But the speed was only 2 mbps. I was assured that the speed will be changed to 4 mbps the same day, which did not happen and i had to continuously call the customer care, the sales guy, the tech guy and their supervisors so many times for about a week to get the speed fixed. Then, i was told about rs. 849 plan in which i could get unlimited local and national calls. The rep told me that they will be arranging for a technician who will come to install the telephone line but before that they will have to port my connection from dsls to dsl or something. But nobody turned up till date..
I went to panchkula office and a rep told me that my plan has already been changed to rs. 849 - who authorized this change without the phone installed? She promised me that she will get this fixed and the connection speed will be back to normal in an hour or two. Even that did not happen
On 24/02/2017, i wrote and email: "hello please disconnect my internet connection after this current billing cycle. I am fed up of talking to your customer service and no one is able to attend to my complaints."
On 04/03/2017, i recieved a reply: "dear connect customer, thank you for writing to us. We acknowledge the receipt of your request for disconnection of your connect number dsls383844 vide your e-mail dated 24/02/2017. We would like to inform you that billing of your connect number has been stopped temporarily." i also recieved a phone call saying the bill will be corrected soon, which never happened.
On 25/03/2017, i sent you an email: "hello, can somebody please go through the series of communication i had with your reps and managers and resolve my billing issue please? I am getting calls every now and ten about why i am not paying my bills? I am still waiting for you guys to adjust extra charges on my bill and send the balance outstanding so that i can pay that … thanks chander shekhar
On 30/03/2017 i got a reply:"dear connect customer, this is in reference to your e-mail enquiring for the bill confirmation. We would like to inform you that disconnection of your connect number dsls383844 is under process, billing for same has been stopped and for full & final bill please confirm us after complete disconnection process of 60 days to help you further.
You guys kept on calling me to pay the bills without providing me for the final bill and without caring to disconnect the account.
On 16/05/2017, i sent you an email again to follow up: "hi, could you please let me know the current status of the below case and provide me with the final bill after required adjustments? Thanks, chander shekhar
On 18/05/2017 i sent you a follow up email again but no body was caring to reply or update me. Rather i kept on getting calls all day to pay you the bill. The somebody called me and advised me that the disconnection is already under process and the account will be disconnected in back date only provided i clear my outstanding balance. I explained him of how they are billing me without installing a phone connection and in spite of my requests to stop the billing. He assured me he will fix the issue and send me a confirmation email.
On 25/05/2017 you sent me an email: dear connect customer, this is in reference to your e-mail enquiring for the bill confirmation. We would like to inform you that as per our telephonic discussion with you, applicable rental waiver of rs.551/- has been approved against your connect number dsls383844, so you are requested to clear your rest outstanding amount of rs.1498/- enable us to post the waiver.
On 28/05/2017, i sent you an email:"hi there, as per our discussion and below email, i have made the payment of 1498 via paytm
vide order number [protected] on 28/05/2017. Kindly confirm the receipt of this payment and post the waiver. Thanks, chander shekhar
Now guess what??? I again recieved a bill for an outstanding amount???
On 23/08/2017 i sent you an email: "are you guys out of your mind??? Is there any manager or a logical person
who can read all the below emails??? I paid 1498 to you guys even without using the internet and nobody came to install the phone and i kept on fighting to get the connection disconnected since 27 january 2017, and now i am getting a message and i still owe you rs. 1000??? What the hell is going on? You want me to go to a consumer court and seek a legal remedy??? Shekhar
On 29/08/2017, i recieved a reply:" dear connect customer this is in reference to your e-mail enquiring for the connect services. We would like to inform you that as checked in system, services of your connect number has already been activated and your outstanding amount of rs. 988/- is pending with us, so you are requested to clear the same to get uninterrupted services."
What the hell??? Who told you to activate the account when i am continuously telling you to disconnect it???
Now i am receiving call again to clear the outstanding payment???
