Around 2 years ago i was using connect broadband [protected]. But only after using 20 days i contacted them about slow speed and broadband shutting down every 2 hour and told them to deactivate my broadband. So i got a call from their office that i can not deactivate my broadband before 2 months o[censored]sing. So after 2 months i again contacted them that i want to disconnect my broadband. After 4-5 days a man came from their office, named parveen. He told that my connection has been deactivated and asked me to give modem/router with the bill and i gave him both. But next month i got an email with a bill from connect and it kept happening for next 3 months. I was still getting a bill even though i had disconnected my broadband. So i again contacted them about how i was getting the bill without any reason. The girl on the line said that i will not get the bill from next time. And it stopped. But after 1 year i got a call from connect that my rs.2800 bill is pending. And then i got a letter from the court that connect has filed a case against me. I contacted the advocate, whose no. Was given on letter and told him about everything. He told me to visit connect office and tell them about this. I contacted parveen (I had his no.) and he told me that my broadband has been disconnected and ignore all the calls from them because they do this with everyone to loot their money. Then i visited their office in sector 35 too and told them about this. They asked me to give them the receipt for the bill which i gave to parveen. But who will save a receipt after 1 year. But i showed them the recording of the call with parveen (Confirming that he has taken bill and router). Everything got settled after that. But now today, again after 7-8 month from the office incident and around (2 years after giving the bill) i got a call from an advocate that my bill is pending.

Below i have attached a screenshot of email which i got after 4 months of disconnecting. Even in their last email, they have mentioned 1800 bill and now they are asking for 2800.

I have paid all my bills and they have generated wrong bills and filed the wrong case against me.

    I had a connect broadband [protected]. Suddenly my modem becomes faulty so i complaint to customer care regarding modem faulty. They said they will replace modem with charges of 1099+gst but i told him that i will not pay charges of modem. The boy which comes from connect replace new modem and he also say that no charges will be levied, but in bill their is modem charges+gst. I again lodge complaint but they verbally waive off charges of modem only not gst, so i don't pay the bill after week from due date my services barred and again bill comes with 1month rent +previous bill+modem charges+ modem charges gst, now and now sms are coming of court case.       Sir, on 15.12.17, i had requested for shifting of bb connection to my new location 31d to connect office at sector -47 required documents were provided. At the same time change of plan from 599 to 799 was also selected and i was informed that this plan will be activated after shifting of connection which will be in 3days. On 18.12.17 it is intimated that, shifting of connection is not possible, you can surrender the connection. I reached to connect office at sec-47 and inquired about issue. Finally i was told to bring wifi and other items and pay the amount 548 which is approx my 599 plan. How it is possible to charge that much amount for 15 days, moreover i have not used the connection since 7.12.17. It is my humble request to look in to the matter and resolve the issue of excess charging. Further, my bb connection[protected] to be discontinued with immediate effect to stop further billing after this date. On rectification of bill i may be informed for depositing of wifi and payment of final bill amount. Thanking you.

      This is in reference to your complaint regarding dispute for bill for process days of shifting, would like to inform you that as checked in system your request was logged on 15th dec 17 for shifting & on 18th dec 17 it was close with remarks that due to no wln area shifting is not possible. as you have also confirmed that you were informed on on 18th Dec 17 regarding same & was guided for disconnection, As per our shifting process we have 3 days process for shifting so within 3 days your request was processed & informed to you so there in no delay from our end & no any waiver is applicable on this.

      We would like to inform you that disconnection of your connect number is under process, billing for same has been stopped and for full & final bill please confirm us after complete disconnection process of 60 days to help you further.

        My account number is 3127835. My complaint detail is as follows:

        Bill generated for for the month of august is 377.13 and amount payable after 16 september is 427.13. But due to some reason, I could not pay the bill and I received the message that "my connection has been barred due to non-payment of bill amount".
        At the same time, I also requested to connect team that I will pay the amount and close my connection. I made request 3 times but nobody from connect team respond me with the solution.

        Then, I received a bill amount of 520.95 in month of october. After that I received a bill amount of 991.77 in month of november which include 399 rental charge.

        But, my question is that if my connection has been barred in september how could you charged me rental charge for the month of november

        Now, from past few days, I am continuously receiving message that Connect has sent my details to advocate for legal action against due to non payment of 992 for using account 3127835, to avoid, pay and contact [protected].

        So, its request to send reasonable bill so that I can pay it.

          I receive messages and calls from connect broadband on daily basis asking to me pay bills and also threat me about court cases. But i had already paid my dues and submitted their modem at jalandhar office at the time of closing of my connection. Now they call me pretend to be some lawyer and threat me about court hearings. Such unethical behavior was not expected.

            This is with reference to my connect broadband for which the company is claiming false bill upon me. Moreover the company agents are threatening me and my family with continuous harassment calls.

            Regardless of several requests for disconnection, they have continued generating bills for my connect broadband, in which duration i haven't even used their services.

            Moreover, they are expecting customers to pay bills despite their such poor wifi services. I have to make at least 20 calls in order to get a single wifi problem resolved from their side.

            Plus they have my security amount deposited with them.

            Now i am receiving threatening calls from their agents who claim to be legal personnel, they are harassing my parents every day. I have patients in my family and such harassment is completely intolerable.

            Is there any help i could find??

              This is regarding my complaint of connect wifi connection which was active for the duration of jan 2017 to may 2017 i. E. We disconnected the wifi connection by the end of may 2017 for a new broadband connection as before dsl service was not available in our area... Fast forward to 14 november 2017 i. E. Today i received a legal notice from quadrant ventures (Connectzone) with them claiming an amount of rs. 3675 for the dead wifi connection!!. And now for the same notice i would have to appear in the court on 9 dec 2017. This is totally unacceptable as i had returned all the equipment (Modem & receiver) and even cleared the bills. When the person who had to disconnect the services came, i even asked him if any further formalities are to be fulfilled and he simply said "no".

                मैंने इनके खन्ना और चण्डीगढ़ ऑफिस मैं calls करके और e-mails करके बहुत बार बताया कि मेरी full & final payment हो चुकी है लेकिन यह कुछ भी नहीं सुनते और मुझे बहुत परेशान कर रहे हैं ये कभी नकली police बनके call करते हैं तो कभी नकली advocate बनके

                  I took the connect broadband connection for my grandmother who is herself not able to come out of the house and get things done for herself. I am from panchkula and she lives in patiala. However, connection didnt work out as well and I got it disconnected on[protected], for the telephone 5063678 and receipt given to me had number 95134. The submission of modem and full payment was done one the same date at sco 10, chhotti bardari, patiala. I specifically requested the person taking care of my issue that if at all anything, any formality was left and he said no. I fortunately saved the receipt. Now i get calls from connect office for first few months after that saying that you were such a good customer and why you left the services and then suddenly, one day i get the call from a lady/girl, who said she is from connect, saying that i have to come to the office to submit the receipt and when I said that I cant come, as I am panchkula and moreover why are they harassing me, she said to someone in background, madam ka bill banwao jara, (make bill of madam) as if to teach me some lesson for something in which I wasnt even wrong. I emailed the customer care a reply and they further create hay sarassment by saying that I have to clear dues amounting to 428 INR. wHAT IS THIS. I was so disheartened by the response from customer care. rather than checking the receipt from the sco 10 chhoti baradari office end, they are blaming me. This ispathetic. I have the receipt here. You can send anyone on my address, to collect that.

                    I have a connect broadbend connection at home... This month our net was not working for approximately 15 days... When we compalint the local vender about it... He just did not do anything but gave lame excuses everytime... After 1 week when we got frustated enough... I finnally called in their head office to either resolve our complaint or disconnect our connection... It was then only that my complaint with local vendor never got lodged only... Now at the end of the month... After= providing such worse services they have shown up on our door with full month bill in their hand... When i asked them to less 15 days charges for which they did not provide us any services... They refused... Kindly adddress my grievance as soon as possible as they cheating customers with such indifferent attitude.

                      We had taken the connect connection in july-2017 & that time ms - pooja is in touch with you for the details of the plans and rent.

                      She told us we should get minimum 16mbps speed for broadband as well the free handset on purchase this broad band connection.

                      We hold applied for the three connections which is two landline + one broad band. But when your installation team come to our office to fix the connection they said we will get max 4mbps speed which is too much slow as committed from pooja (Model town branch jalandhar), we talked with her same time and she again committed with 72 hours it should be change but after till the time its not done.

                      We didn't received even handset which she is giving us free of cost with broad band connection. After no solution from her then we called to the customer care team and register our complaint and they committed to resolve the issue with in 72 hiurs but till the time nothing happend even we called three to four times on your call center but didn't get any respounce from them.

                      Now we are not interested any more to use services of connect any more and more over we didn't utilized any services and there is no reason to pay the bill these bill will be payable by ms pooja who is done miss guidance totally just sail the connection to get achieve there targets.

                      Complaint no[protected] still there is no repounce we get against this register complaint.

                      Kindly remove from our office your broadband box else we can throw from our side on the road.

                      Note - all the times you asked customer not paying bill but you never ever ready to look what issues done from your side & if issue on your end so why customer will be in face and pay for the same.

                          I got a connect broadband connection installed on 06/01/2017 with rs. 749 plan and was promised a speed of 4 mbps and 20 gb of data. But the speed was only 2 mbps. I was assured that the speed will be changed to 4 mbps the same day, which did not happen and i had to continuously call the customer care, the sales guy, the tech guy and their supervisors so many times for about a week to get the speed fixed. Then, i was told about rs. 849 plan in which i could get unlimited local and national calls. The rep told me that they will be arranging for a technician who will come to install the telephone line but before that they will have to port my connection from dsls to dsl or something. But nobody turned up till date..

                          I went to panchkula office and a rep told me that my plan has already been changed to rs. 849 - who authorized this change without the phone installed? She promised me that she will get this fixed and the connection speed will be back to normal in an hour or two. Even that did not happen

                          On 24/02/2017, i wrote and email: "hello please disconnect my internet connection after this current billing cycle. I am fed up of talking to your customer service and no one is able to attend to my complaints."

                          On 04/03/2017, i recieved a reply: "dear connect customer, thank you for writing to us. We acknowledge the receipt of your request for disconnection of your connect number dsls383844 vide your e-mail dated 24/02/2017. We would like to inform you that billing of your connect number has been stopped temporarily." i also recieved a phone call saying the bill will be corrected soon, which never happened.

                          On 25/03/2017, i sent you an email: "hello, can somebody please go through the series of communication i had with your reps and managers and resolve my billing issue please? I am getting calls every now and ten about why i am not paying my bills? I am still waiting for you guys to adjust extra charges on my bill and send the balance outstanding so that i can pay that … thanks chander shekhar

                          On 30/03/2017 i got a reply:"dear connect customer, this is in reference to your e-mail enquiring for the bill confirmation. We would like to inform you that disconnection of your connect number dsls383844 is under process, billing for same has been stopped and for full & final bill please confirm us after complete disconnection process of 60 days to help you further.

                          You guys kept on calling me to pay the bills without providing me for the final bill and without caring to disconnect the account.

                          On 16/05/2017, i sent you an email again to follow up: "hi, could you please let me know the current status of the below case and provide me with the final bill after required adjustments? Thanks, chander shekhar

                          On 18/05/2017 i sent you a follow up email again but no body was caring to reply or update me. Rather i kept on getting calls all day to pay you the bill. The somebody called me and advised me that the disconnection is already under process and the account will be disconnected in back date only provided i clear my outstanding balance. I explained him of how they are billing me without installing a phone connection and in spite of my requests to stop the billing. He assured me he will fix the issue and send me a confirmation email.

                          On 25/05/2017 you sent me an email: dear connect customer, this is in reference to your e-mail enquiring for the bill confirmation. We would like to inform you that as per our telephonic discussion with you, applicable rental waiver of rs.551/- has been approved against your connect number dsls383844, so you are requested to clear your rest outstanding amount of rs.1498/- enable us to post the waiver.

                          On 28/05/2017, i sent you an email:"hi there, as per our discussion and below email, i have made the payment of 1498 via paytm vide order number [protected] on 28/05/2017. Kindly confirm the receipt of this payment and post the waiver. Thanks, chander shekhar

                          Now guess what??? I again recieved a bill for an outstanding amount???

                          On 23/08/2017 i sent you an email: "are you guys out of your mind??? Is there any manager or a logical person who can read all the below emails??? I paid 1498 to you guys even without using the internet and nobody came to install the phone and i kept on fighting to get the connection disconnected since 27 january 2017, and now i am getting a message and i still owe you rs. 1000??? What the hell is going on? You want me to go to a consumer court and seek a legal remedy??? Shekhar

                          On 29/08/2017, i recieved a reply:" dear connect customer this is in reference to your e-mail enquiring for the connect services. We would like to inform you that as checked in system, services of your connect number has already been activated and your outstanding amount of rs. 988/- is pending with us, so you are requested to clear the same to get uninterrupted services."

                          What the hell??? Who told you to activate the account when i am continuously telling you to disconnect it???

                          Now i am receiving call again to clear the outstanding payment???

                            This is regarding my wifi broadband connection for Account number 2523670 and connect phone number.
                            The WIFI has been non-functional for more than a month now. I want to terminate it. I logged on to the website and found a bill of 3, 304! But why the bill is being charged when it was not functional at all.
                            Moreover after contacting them for weeks on email, they are asking me to submit the router and accessories by my own to their office. I stay outside the city and my parents can't do that. It's so unprofessional of them. Who does it this way?
                            If I won't pay you for a year, will you keep on charging me for whole year? I want a valid amount of payment for which the WIFI has been functional i.e for a month which comes around 1k. Also, I won't pay a penny more than that

                              As suggested by head office chandigarh i visited the connect broadband office ludhiana elite arcade office on 10.08.17 to disconnect the services.
                              There ms. Ritu asked me to submit modem & rs. 550 as full & final payment.
                              As above i submitted modem and made payment. Now they are harassing by posting bills after disconnection.
                              Kindly help.

                                But today company employee mr. Gagan come in my office & demand for payment, we have show the rct. No. 2363176, he want to destroy that slip in the presence of 12 peoples (Customers & employees) & misbehave all the person in office & tell me gopal have left the co. So now again you will be pay the payment.

                                Plz take needful action against to co. & employees

                                We have also put the complaint in national consumer complaint forum

                                    i am very frustrated from connect services and wrong commitment

                                    i have been disconnected connect broadband in 31.03.2017but connect executive come again and tell me that now we will paid good services in rs.299.00 with free calling of 299.00 and with 5 gb data (4mbps) after that 1 mbps unlimited

                                    then i agree with him and i again ready for new connection at my home on july-2017

                                    but i have received first bill rent is 399 and 38.96 is calling charges extra

                                    i have already has been complaint on dt. 07.07.2017 in customer care of connect broadband but they reply that your request is pending till now

                                    so i am very frustrated with connect broadband commitment

                                      This is karan verma from house no. 1125, sector 23 b, chandigarh. The connection is on my name [protected]. I am really very very frustrated with connecting service. I have started a new connection 9 months ago. Since the day of installation connection is not working, many times complained to your customer portal for solve my technical problems. Still, there is no permanent solution from your side. I must say i had made mistake to take a connection from connecting. I am still requested to your customer portal to solve my networking issue but nobody comes to my home till two days and this problem after four days generated. Last month your office employees contact me on my above telephone number to solve the issue and issue waiver amount to adjust the connection bills amount but nobody till coming to my home and solve this issue.
                                      2. I need a serious reply from company side and i want to disconnect my internet connection, but till now nobody solves my technical as well as wrong money bill generated.in that case, i will not pay any bill which is sent by the company to us that is sure from my side. Because the net is not working since the day of month june so i am not liable to pay any bill.
                                      Kindly look into the matter.
