I booked two seats (U11 & u12), using red bus app on sri amarnath travels for the journey date 28/09/2017 from chennai to srivilliputhur. My ticket number is tka[protected]. Even though the starting point was koyembedu (7:50 p. M.), this particular bus is known to stop at various places in chennai including mahindra city. On that particular date, i received a message in the afternoon, that koyembedu will be the only boarding point. It wasn't convenient for me to leave office (Infosys ltd.-mahindra world city) suddenly and abruptly to board at koyembedu. Hence, i called sri amarnath travels and asked them if they would stop at mahindra city. They also agreed. However, when i called them again at 8:30 p. M. After reaching home, they said that my ticket was cancelled. For nearly an hour, i struggled to make them understand that i never cancelled any ticket, by sending them my ticket on whatsapp and also as an sms, but they denied ever receiving it. They said that two other people had boarded those seats and asked me to check the date. Even though everything was accurate on my ticket, they refused to believe it, putting me through mental stress and agony. My friend and i, both girls had to catch another bus late at night and pay another lump sum to reach home. I want my ticket amount (2398 rs.) to be refunded to my account, since i never travelled by that bus on that date due to their negligence and dishonorable behavior! I understand that this is a business, but the least i expect from a reputed travels is honesty-they should have had the guts to tell me that they raffled off my tickets, instead of lying to me about it which would have saved me a lot of time. I have already called red bus customer care and they assured me that i would get a refund within 24 hrs (Ref no: 2009075). Until i get a suitable reply, i won't be using red bus ever again and certainly won't recommend it to any of my friends or colleagues!
