I booked a ticket through redbus for Amaravati to Aurangabad by MSRTC. Then at the bua stop the MSRTC people did not let me board the bus and rejectes my reservation through redbus As my travel was urgent, I took on the spot ticket from the conductor and travelled.

Now when I ask for refund, the redbus people ask me to contact msrtc and the msrtc people reject my reservation.

This is an unacceptable solution.

    I booked ticket from redbus on 22 Feb for mumbai to ahmedabad travel time was 2.35 am from kashimira and travels was mahavat travels after 30 min of waiting on highway bus was not arrived I called up mahavat travels several time but number was not reachable after that I called up redbus 3 times they told me mahavat travels number not reachable so u wait for 15 min I waited for one and half hr but not came so I lodge complain again to redbus they told me we will investigate on this issue and will refund u after investigation. Infact on same day I called 3 time and all 3 time redbus unable to contact mahavat travels they need more investigation after all drama I left at 4 am for home I waste my money I waste my time and today on 24 Feb redbus told me via email that we can't refund because they called me up on that night bus will b late and we can't refund . Infact no one called me from mahavat travels . I know my amount is not that big for refund but I suffer a lot from redbus and need some action against redbus

      History
      Due to some personal emergency, my travel was cancelled at early dawn on 19-Feb-2016. As per red bus Policy, one can cancel ticket 12 hours prior to journey. My bus timing was at 08:20 PM in the evening. So 12 hours prior will be 08:20 AM in the morning. Not to take any risks, I just googled the customer care number of Red Bus and called on[protected] at 06:01 AM in the morning. Now the IVR ask to press 01 for Bus bookings and 02 for Hotel Bookings.

      I Pressed 01 for Bus booking.

      Now the option 02 is for cancellation, I pressed the same.

      It now asks to enter my mobile number followed by hash (#) key.

      I pressed the same and the call is disconnected.

      BOOM !!! I am shocked. No response, no acknowledgement, no sms whether it has been cancelled or not.

      I tried it again and again the same thing.

      The call is disconnected.

      I repeated the Process 8 to 10 times over next 40 minutes, and same thing.

      Now point to be noted over here is that the IVR is asking for mobile number and not ticket ID. Hence there is no back tracking in the system through PNR. So Red Bus is not ready to accept that there is fault in the system.

      This time I felt that I need to talk to some person and not machine. After Pressing 1 in IVR, I selected option 5 that is for any other query.

      This time, it was a bit different. The phone was not directly disconnected but after two or three beeps it was disconnected.

      Remember, its 06:40 AM in morning, I have to go at work, finish my regular activities and have other priorities too. But What i am doing. I am just trying to get some response from the so called Technology based company.

      Finally at 07:00 I tried to drop a written complaint. And I opened the mobile APP. here I found the option Call Support. I tap on it and was surprised to know that the Customer Care number over here is different. It was[protected].

      I tried on this number as well. The IVR was also similar and I again tried to cancel the ticket but in vain. For the last time I tried to connect and pressed 5 for other quries. Finally after 73 minutes I was able to talk some human from the IVR. The lady informed me that I cannot cancel the ticket as the deadline to cancel the ticket was 06:45 AM. Now the point to think over here is that, for a bus at 08:20 PM the 12 hours prior is 08:20 AM and not 06:45 AM. The operator has entire day to get replacement. Also I tried well before time but I was not able to cancel ticket due to Technical glitch in the system.

      I asked the executive to escalate the request but she informed that all the supervisors / floor managers will be available after 08:00 AM. I was promised by her that her senior will call back me within next 6 hours. I dont know why she need 6 hours when her superior would be available in next 45 minutes. Fine, but I accepted.

      I waited till 02:00 PM but no response. I again called back and this time I was again told the same BS story. They asked me to talk to the Operator.

      I called on [protected] and asked the person to do the needful. Now this guy is ready to cancel the ticket but has no intent to return even partial amount. He took my seat number and all other details so that he is sure that this seat will be vacant. This shows he will sell the ticket at high price in the peak of weekend but has no ethics to return the amount. Dear all never travel in such travels. They may also leave you in the journey.

      But being Indian I am not expecting any honesty or ethics from Travel and Transport companies. We all know thugs these people are.

      I again called back the customer care and repeated entire story again. The lady named Shewta asked for one hour time so that she can check at her end. Fine being a tolerant passenger I agreed to the same.

      20-25 minutes later I receive a call from Mr. Ganesh[protected] saying that he is from redbus and he cannot cancel the ticket. I again retold entire story to him and the foolish person is asking me why didnot you wrote mail to us in the morning itself.

      Now, please understand at 06:00 AM in morning a person has to cancel his travel due to some emergency, then whether will write emails to support or will he directly call and cancel the tickets.

      I am not expecting 100% refund, whatever may be the charges that redbus can deduct and return the amount.

      In such personal problems going on, why I am writing all these things is because the intent of the company is not good. They claim themselves to be technology based company and yet behaving like paper-pen based organizations. In 2016, when everything is tech-based and I am not able to cancel a single ticket using different ways, its really pathetic.

      Why should a consumer suffer when its Technical fault of the service providers. Even railways refund if there is any fault in their systems and these companies have no sense of operations.

      If it had been any western country the consumer would have been rewarded for highlighting the system bugs but its India and nothing can change over here.

      Mr. Prakash Sangam I really feel very sorry for you that you work for such dirty organisation.

        I tried booking ticket for 7th Feb evening 21:15 bus. The time at the point of booking was around 20:45 on 7th Feb itself. It was showing available so i clicked and made payment. After payment was done it showed ticket booked for 8th Feb same time instead of 7th Feb. Initially i thought it was my error so i tried second time and kept eye on the date selected. Everything selected was correct and the process went smooth but again ticket was booked for 8th instead of 7th Feb. Due to error in website i lost around Rs 1500. After 2 failed attempts i went directly to travel agent and booked ticket and came back to mumbai on 7th night.

        The site should not fool customers by showing tickets available on one date and book ticket for another.

          I tried to book ticket in Red Bus. I wanted to book ticket on Jan 3rd 2016. But the ticket was booked for the day i booked. so, i cancelled the ticket as soon as it booked with ticket no. THT[protected] with Kesineni travels. Ticket fare: 1428(incl. tax) Cancellation Fare: 1350 Refund: 78.

          They are saying, "i have choosen the wrong date". I have selected the right date 3rd Jan 2016. It was complete mistake by web site or server connctivity.

          I have booked one more ticket on Jan 3rd 2016 on same date after cancellation.

          Yes Same Problem i also faced, They are cheating. I wanted to book return tickets to travel on 22nd June 2017 but the ticket was booked on the same day i booked the ticket 20th June 8:30Pm. To start my travel at 10:30Pm. refund not received. I advice not to book ticket using red bus.

          I have also told them to change journey date and give me the ticket, Since it is website issue. But they have not provided proper responds. At last they gave me reference number

            I booked a ticket from Delhi to Mandi through REDBUS with operator HIMACHAL VOLVO BUS ( ticket no. TJ[protected]) schedule was 10:00 P.M and pick-up point was GT Road Karnal Bypass CNG Pump. I was there at 9:30 P.M and got call at 10:00 P.M that bus has started to move and be at the pick-up point . After 25 minutes i contacted on same number the guy told me they are in traffic and will be there in couple of minutes. Again after 20 minutes i have called the same person and he gave me another number and told me to contact on that. I called on that number and asked about the whereabouts of the bus he very rudely told me to get another bus they have arranged and disconnected the phone. Later a bus came and conductor very rudely and shamelessly told me to get into the bus which was already almost full i asked him to provide my seat that i have booked he refused to oblige and then i declined to enter into bus. The whole 2 hours they made me stand on the highway in cold and harsh whether and then left me with no other option than to cancel my journey this whole experiance has left me terrified and tormented. i have filed a written and verbal complaint in REDBUS but only thing that they can possibly do is to return my money but i want my money and compensation for the agony and mental harassment which is caused by the operator of the bus to me and justifiable punishment to the operator.

              I booked online ticket (Ticket No.: TJ2Y[protected] through redbus.in from Bareilly Satellite Bus Stand to Anand Vihar, Delhi for 30th January, 2016. Reporting time at Bareilly Satellite Stop was 9:20 P.M. and departure was at 9:35 P.M. On reaching the bus stand, I enquired and found that there is no such bus at the stand. I Immediately called and made a complaint with ticket number[protected] at 10:10 P.M.

              At Bareilly satellite bus stand, there were two enquiry booths - one for AC buses and other for Non-AC buses. I enquired at both booths but UPSRTC officials at both the counters were unknown about the bus. They tried to enquire with the Redbus and UPSRTC officials of other bus stands as well, but could not locate the whereabouts of such a bus as there was no trace of it anywhere. Infact, UPSRTC officials at the booth told the Redbus officials on telephone that no such bus departs from this bus stop (Bareilly Satellite Boarding Point). The Redbus was apologetic about this mis-information and assured me that I will be refunded my ticket amount of Rs. 614.00.

              I finally decided to board another bus which started at 10:15 P.M after informing the rebus customer care at no[protected] about the incident after which they confirmed that I will be getting my refund shortly due to the inconveniences caused from their behalf. Though the bus was o[censored]PSRTC, They blatantly refused to adjust the booked ticket amount and asked to purchase fresh tickets (Ticket No: 00059786,[protected]. Since it was getting late and I was with family, and also not getting any assurance from Redbus.in/UPSRTC, I was left with no choice but to re-purchase my tickets (although both buses were UPSRTC) and leave. It was a completely HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with Redbus.

              Next day, I was surprised to see the message that my complaint request ticket (stated above) was closed without it being sorted out. Thereafter, I am regularly trying from last one week to contact Redbus officials to look into my case but no response from them so far. Such a hypocritical behaviour from Redbus is very disappointing.

              I will strongly recommend not to use Redbus services as they are cheating customers with false information and carry an irresponsible attitude towards handling customer issues.

                I tried to book Bus ticket using REDBUS Mobile App on 30th Jan 2016. I had Rs.448 in Redbus wallet. I was booking ticket from Chennai to Coimbatore. I used that wallet amount and for remaining Rs.102 I paid through PayUMoney. I recieved application error message stating that Ticket was unable to book after entering payment details but the money got deducted. Redbus Customer Care confirmed that the amount will be refunded. I see Rs.102 is refunded to PayUMoney account but the wallet amount Rs.448 is still not refunded to my Redbus wallet nor to any other mode. I called Customer care 4 times from 30th Jan. Still No proper response from Redbus. EVerytime I am hearing the same story that it will take another 6 hours. One Customer Care executive even told me it will take 6 to 7 business days for the bank to process. He is telling this answer for Wallet maintained by Redbus. Today 5th Feb 2015, Still I did not recieve balance into Redbus wallet.

                I contact the customer care again. Finally one customer care executive understand my concern, asked my account details and initiated amount transfer to my bank account. I recieved Rs.448/- to my bank account in 2 days from initiation. Thanks. I would like to suggest everyone not to use Redbus wallet in near future as I understand that refund to wallet on failed transaction was not correctly handled at Redbus mobile app delvelopment.

                I have booked ticket on 8th december 2016. But still money didn't refund.
                We have processed refund of Rs.678.5 for your redBus order ref. 92182957 on cancellation of your journey from Thoothukudi to Chennai, 08-Dec-16, Seat(S) 1. Please be assured that the refund will be credited to you in 2-3 working days by the bank.

                  Your service is very very bad you have unexperience driver in 19.12.15 night your bus driver slip in running bus and accident the bus all passengers in the hospitlys but no any person come to the hospital from naik Travals.
                  All passengers got major injury, very very bad Travals no one arrange the bus for going to return mumbai and goa.
                  Hospital bill also we had pay, no Buddy help us.

                    I booked a ticket on redbus. At the last moment operator cancelled the bus and agreed to give me a alternative e ticket. I booked an A/C sleeper and he offered me a non A/C seater and even that is not a proper seat.. It was just behind the driver where attender use to sleep. When I tried reaching customer service executive to report the problem, none of them responded properly and simply disconnected the call. It was a very important and emergency travel which I tried to explain the representatives, but no one were ready to sort it out. And the funny part is, all the representatives are asking sorry before I complete explaining the issue which shows that they are not at all listening to what I am trying to tell. Guess this is the way they are trained and when I asked them to transfer the call to any superior authorities, they were dening saying the superiors doesn't have any information to help me out. Why should a booked ticket gets cancelled at the last moment? The operator will list the same bus again with a better fare ie., close to Rs.1500 as it is Friday. This happens with customers like us often. If this issue is not sorted out, then its very difficult for a long run in the market because customers like me are not to keep on believing the stories behind the cheating. My kind advise, please don't use Redbus for God sake. This is my 4th experience and I have been mad to believe them continuously. Don't entertain them by good business. What ever the offer they are giving, they will charge the double amout someone and that is the business strategy. So people be cautious and stay away.

                      I wish to submit that i have booked the tickets on 20th of december 2015 for traveling on 1st of january 2016.through the website redbus site and wanted to travel from bangalore to pune on 01/01/2016. I selected the date on the top portion and booked the ticket. But to my surprise the ticket number THDF89469545 PNR TS-RB23202190EKA/[protected] OF SRS TRAVELS. ticket is booked as on 20 of same day.I booked the ticket at 1.20 for the bus But to my dismay the ticked is booked as on 20th of dec 2015 insted of 01/01/2016.

                      I rushed to SRS kalasipalyam office, they told it is not at all possible to do anything.
                      Then i spoke to redbus team, srs team, and also payatm. Then redbus told me to send a mail according I lodged the complain on the same instance itself.

                      But at the same time i am very much disappointed that my case has not considered in a justice way.After one month persuation through email they have given a reply that there is no technical fault.No technical confirmation required as it is visible to a naked eye and it is apparent that there is a system problem by which all these episode happened.

                      As per my attachment Anybody can easily notice the date on the top is 01/1/2016 and below it was showing the scheduled time and the availability of the bus for the date of 20th dec 2015 (no where you can observe that date of 20th is shown) Also in the second screen shot again it was showing the date as 01/1/2016 but is was showing the seat available for 20th dec 2015.

                      By the way i got panicked and approached one and all immediately knowing about the fraud happened to me. The same i can substantiate by the mail and the recorded conversation. You can observe that i have not travelled on the day is enough support to inform i have not intended to travel on the 20th dec 2015.

                      However with all this reason behind my claim, simply they have rejected my claim. Because of their undue delay in replying i could not reserve my ticket for the said date. I could able to get my ticket for 31st instead of 1st, and i can confirm with the tickets. With all this i was mentally tortured, i could not get the tickets on 1st. i was subject to all these loss.

                      Once again i am stressing the fact i was defrauded with the website for which i have got enough proof. I am sure with all this i can claim my loss.

                        Pathetic, worst ever experience I had.. 14 Jan, 2016, Bus was about to come at 11:30 PM to Perungalathur... the bus never turned up.. everytime i called, they said bus will come in next 30 mins.. we waited till 3.00 AM, still no bus and when i called them, they again said bus will come in 30 mins.. got frustrated and i made alternate arrangements... WORST when i called next morning, they are cooly saying bus came at 3:00 AM.
                        Now redbus saying, the bus came 1 hour late and customer did not boarded.
                        THIS IS PATHETIC, RUDE, CHEATING, UNPROFESSIONAL, FRAUDULENT BEHAVIOUR
                        IS THIS A ORGANISED LOOTING?

                            Not allotted the seat which i paid for

                            TJ2U[protected] Tkt no I have booked seat no 19 which is at the centre but in the last moment I was allotted a seat in the last row.. When I asked about this the driver and the helper in the bus told me to adjust else get down. Then why should I pay in advance and book a seat....

                            I booked a ticket through RED BUS to travel to Hyderabad on 22-Jan-2016 and I got a confirmation ticket from them with the following information :

                            Ticket Number : TJ2J65946766
                            PNR no: KLSR151109 -New Non A/c 01
                            Kaleswari Travels

                            On the day of Journey i.e., on 22.01.2016, I didn't received any information regarding my bus details on phone. And moreover when I called the given Bus operator to confirm my details, they said that there is some conflict with my seat number (5), that it was booked by 2 person. And hence they asked me to contact RED BUS helpline number.

                            So as asked by the operator, I contacted the RED BUS helpline number and they said that they have booked some other person on the same seat number and hence they have to cancel my seat. And therefore my cancellation of seat was intimated to me by 10'o clock which is 1 hour after the bus departure time.

                            Due to this I couldn't reach my train which was scheduled tomorrow in Hyderabad at 4 PM.

                              I have gone thru lot of pain and agnoy and stress to coodinate with redbus in getting refund Rs.4600/-. I travelled from hyd to mum on jan 3rd thru dhanunjaya travels volvo (claimed new bus) but is very old under repair bus which troubled in the journey. Mid night 1:30am bus got break down either oeprator or redbus couldnt respond to help us. we were standing on highway for 5hrs for help.

                              Now the strange new is they are not refunding money. and asking us to call every day to followup.

                              Pls make my refund asap and give compensation for extra money and agony gone thru while travelling

                                Never ever book ticket from red bus. They are cheaters they do not refund customer's money on ticket cancellation. They have not refunded money for many customers. I am going to sue this red bus I have spoken with the media to write about them. I am going to spread about them on social networking sites and whereby I can and i am going to shut their business down. I have also met some people who have also lost their money and we all will go for legal action.
                                I m going to make your life hell.

                                  I booked a bus from Santacruz to hyd. Bus got brkdown and we were asked to travel by standing in another bus for 3 hours by carrying our luggage. No proper response from customer care when I callles. Wud never recommend red bus to anyone. Wrote to prakash, updated in social media and all. Disgusting experience I have ever had.                                     I wanted to ask whether Redbus Customer care asks for any credit card information over phone to initiate Refund. I got a phone call from someone called RK Jain ( Employee ID : 0603412)and he asked for all the credit card details on front and back to do refund. Shouldn't they just send the amount to the same account I used to purchase tickets like all vendors do. This really sounds fishy to me.

                                      I had booking in eagle travels from Jamnagar to Ahmedabad on 13th January 2016 at 05:45 pm. Due to some reason this time also the bus was cancelled, I have faced this problem whenever I have booked ticket through Redbus. It is really unfair that, at the last moment buses are cancelled and no alternate solution is provided by red bus. I have booked online bus tickets with other websites also, but my experience with red bus is worst. I have tried to contact red bus customer care 6-7 times but every time call has been disconnected from their end. And I was not provided with any resolution by them. Also without informing refund was processed and no answer was given on asking Why !!! to the customer care. Finally I was left with no other option as, I found all the seats were booked on the required time and date and due to this my plans have suffered. Iam really very much disappointed with the pathetic service given by Redbus. After Suffering so much, I wont very recommend REDBUS to anyone

                                      I have again faced same issue, this time it was srinath travels..jamnagar to udaipur.i was informed 50 minutes before journey and then i had no option to reach udaipur.

                                      It landed me in the worst situation as it was necessary for me to reach there anyhow.
