Recently(24-SEP-2015) I booked a ticket from Bangalore to Vizag(Anakapalli) through REDBUS. The Bus was supposed to come at 5-15 pm from Marathalli and it was broke down. I waited for 2-30 hours and called up the REDBUS call center to cancel the ticket. In the middle of the conversation, they disconnected the call.(FIRST TIME) with no response.

At 8-45 pm, the Bus Driver(VRL TRAVLES) called ( exactly after 3-15 hours from the scheduled start) to find me at teh bus stop . I told that I cancelled my ticket with REDBUS since it was too late and not sure whether the journey could happen or not.

Again I called(SECOND TIME after an hour) the REDBUS, they just noted down the request for cancellation and told that email would be received in 6 hours regarding the refund of money. but this didnt happen.

Again, (THIRD TIME on next day), I called teh call center, again they asked for the problem despite the complaint number i told them. Finally same old response I received (the email would be recevied in 6 hours).

After 5 days (FOURTH TIME), I called the REDBUS callcenter, again they told the sweet answer that Bus was broke down and it made it to complete the journey after some time and finally concluded that money can not be refunded.

And this is not the first time, It happened for me with REDBUS. I admit that real time problems can happen with any bus and at any time. But its the responsibility of the ONLINE vendor to deal with in case of any issue.

RED BUS is simply a stupid ONLINE vendor nothing else. MY sincere advice to ALL is better book with direct bus vendor rather than approaching this STUPID online portal (WWW.REDBUS.IN)

its simply mere waste of time and energy to deal with REDBUS incase you come up with any issue regarding the BUS TRAVEL.

    Hi All, I have booked online 2 ticket from redbus for 23rd september 2015. Bus didn't arrived at boarding point and bus operator didn't arrived at boarding point. They made some alternate arrangement which I was not informed. While boarding some other bus driver asked me to pay against the seat as I will be getting refund from redbus. Now both are denying to pay me the refund. 1. Did bus operator informed about alternate arrangement to customer. Ans: No 2. At boarding point alternate bus operator asked for money against seat. Ans: Yes 3. At boarding point did alternate bus operator allowed customer to board the bus against present ticket of Sahara Travels Ans: No 4. Who told customer about refund of the online ticket Ans: Alternate bus operator

      I have Booked Bus from Aluva to Bangalore via redbus.com on Sunday, July 5, 2015, Below are the ticket Details : Ticket no: TH7W32586824 PNR no: TS-RB16928798YNV/22394/ERKN-BLR Bus Operator : Nila Travels Total Fare :Rs. 1, 500 On Just previous day of the journey, i got a call from a lady (She told she is from Nila Travels ) i have been informed that, This bus is cancelled due to some technical issue, so please book another Bus for your journey, also they will be giving the refund of full amount with in 2 week to the same account from where the Booking is done (i did payment via redbus.com using my HDFC netbanking ). After long time since there is no refund i called redbus customer care and asked about it, then they told, refund is not yet initiated, because i did not requested for that..!!! Then they raised request from their end for refund of the same and told that it will be done in 2 - 3 week of time. Refund Request # RB[protected] . Now i could see that they have closed this refund request stating, that the request must be done with in 10 days of the journey date..!! My question is : 1. If that is the case why the Bus operator told me that the credit will happen automatically to the account since the bus is cancelled.! 2. If the Bus is getting cancelled by the Operator, why the People should run behind redbus/Operator for the refund, as they are well aware that the money should be given back to the customer. Please help me in this..

          We have booked 4 (Four) tickets from your site on 21st Sept. We have to travel on 22nd Sept., 2015 from Pune to Ahmedabad Patel A/C Multi Axis Sleeper ; Reporting time 6.35 PM at Wakhade Wadi. TIN : THAJ63258566 ; PNR 33695482. On[protected], at about 3.00 P.M., there was a call from Patel Travels, Pune (mobile no. [protected]) that the particular Volvo bus is cancelled. You have to cancel that booked tickets and re-book for another bus. Immediately I called to inquire about this call to your Pune office[protected]. The operator said that he will inform me within one hour. But there was no response after two hours. constantly I have called to your helpline no.[protected], but there was not any satisfactory answer...they were not sure about cancellation of the Patel Travel Bus and intimate in short time. At 6.30 Mr. Gyaneshwar form Pune Helpline said me that still the intimation of cancellation of Patel Travel Bus is received but I may travel by another bus and he has informed this matter to Higher authority...my booked amount Rs.4908/- will be repaid surely. After that very inconveniently we have traveled from Pune to Ahmedabad and at noon time on 22nd September, 2015 on my mobile phone [protected], I received SMS about feedback for the journey which was not made in reality. I am frequently book ticket from your site but this experience is very much bed..shocking...not expected.             Booked tickets from redbus of Saini Travels from Nagpur to Hyderabad and return ticket also. Payment was deducted from account but ticket not booked.but Saini have my record for the same. I called Redbus helpline as well as Saini around ten times in three hours, but nobody helped .

                  Hello, This is with reference to the bus ticket THA[protected] which my wife booked for Bangalore Chennai on 11/09/2015 timing 09:15 PM reporting & 9:30 PM departure time (Seat L6, GNR travels) and the contact number provided [protected]( was not reachable on that day). She managed to reach the boarding point at 9 pm itself and the bus was not available at 9.30 pm also. After making so many calls to the redbus customer care, one of the agent came upto her around at 10.30 and asked her to get into a TT saying that another bus has been arranged somewhere distant and she can go in that bus. She declined him saying that she will cancel the bus ticket as she was not willing to go with him in a TT alone at that time ( Hope you all have your mothers and sisters and imagine if they have this situation !!! Do you expect a woman to go alone in a TT with an unknown guy?? Dont you all read newspapers??Then for what the hell you have given options "Boarding point" in your site???) As she had to go to Chennai for an emergency reason, she cancelled the ticket and arranged another bus from a different agency, also she raised a complaint(Compliant number:[protected] . Refund never happened And the resolution provided after 3 days bloody investigation is that she traveled in the bus which she booked first..Do you think that we play this game for a mere amount of 800??? is this the bloody service you provide to the customers???? I am not at all bothered about the amount, and if you want to loot the people, you can do this in any ways... But if you people provide this kind of service to the customers let it be. I had a feeling that redbus is the customer oriented service provider but hereafter i have to search for other options and to save my near ones from being cheated i have to inform the whole world about your damn service..The amount is not a big deal for us but the solution you provided was something like we have been pictured as fraudsters. So i have to proceed with filing a case against this service and also have to share my experience in all social networking sites, so that atleast 1% will be saved from the looting hands of RED bus.. Now i understand that RED is for DEVIL!!! thanking you for your valuable service, Nidhin.

                      I took ticket from Bangalore to Angamaly on 16th sep 2015 from redbus.in website where i found one bust with fare Rs129. I booked the ticket and I got the confirmed ticket through sms and email. But on the journey date at 2pm I am getting a call from the bus operator that there was a mistake from redbus, I have to pay the rest amount that is somewhere around Rs 1170 more. I called redbus and spoke with redbus rep Climent, I explained him but he was so rude and he was thretning me that you go and convince the bus operator to allow you inside or else he will cancel my ticket. I asked him I saw the fare in redbus website and i booked the ticket by paying the whole amount mentioned in there website, if its there mistake they should take the responsibility no. I am not the first time customer for redbus i have booked ticket more than 15 times from redbus and see redbus how they treat there good customers. I am really fedup with redbus.in At last they cancelled my ticket and i didn't get the refund amount yet. I will not recommend anyone to take tickets from redbus. Abhibus is gives more offer and there customer care is also good and decent.

                        I had a confirmed Ernakulam - Bangalore booking booked vide Messrs Redbus, on Greenline Travel on 29-Aug-2015. Messrs Redbus had arbitrarily cancelled the ticket without checking with me, and I was left in the lurch for my return EKM-BLR trip. The refund amount of INR 2009 that I had paid has not been refunded to my account despite multiple emails to Redbus support, and Redbus Care email ids. More than 2 weeks have elapsed, and I have still not received my refund. KIndly help. Thanks Venugopal

                            The policy has created by redbus is zero refund on journey date cancellation . If you asked customer care they simply said this is operator policy we couldnot do anything for that. Then why they run that website. So better book the ticket to agents who took simple commission and help them to earn. Dont book tickets through redbus anycast. They are themodern day cheaters. I never seen this kind of technology cheating anywhere in my life. Eventhough beggers are walking whole day for begging but these fellows are luxury beggers. Very very frustrated created by redbus . I got ticket on srs travels oddanchatiram to chennai on redbus. The boarding point was ottanchathiram but the agent told me tat i[censored] booked ticket in redbus means go to palani bus wont stop here like that. So redbus wont bother about customer safe. Their aiming was begging for commission.

                              Booked tickets for bus through redbus, a/c bus was poor in service with aggressive and unacceptable staff behaviour, a/c was not working properly, a/c vents were leaking lots of water to make me ill. While returning no from destination, no bus info been provided, when called customer service, advisor was rude and unhelpful over the call. Disgusting service. Waste of money, company should be banned as can't deliver the service promised and money which customer's have been charged.

                                I booked a ticket through red bus in a travels called Nita travels in Coimbatore. After booking the ticket, in the ticket there is no detail about boarding point also there is no contact number. I tried to contact the red bus customer care to get the details of the operator, But i didnot get. I enquired many travels regarding that bus boarding point, but i couldnt find. Finally i missed the bus. Now they not willing to give refund amount for that.They telling I am not eligible for refund.

                                  Hi, I booked a ticket in RedBus.in - Sri KRISHNA TRAVELS to trave on 17 Aug 2015 from Dindigul to Chennai for 3 members, theTicket no. TH9E37573574. Onboading time 9:45 PM & departure 10:00 PM. We were waiting from 9:00 PM, but bus was not arrived and calling the Contacts given in ticket / Redbus.in... but NO RESPONSE from them, made around 30 CALLS. As we had an important appointment in the very next day, i sent a TICKET CANCELLATION email to [protected]@redbus.in with 'But not arrived on time" reason @ 11:30 PM and travelled in another vehicle. Driver had called from another number around 11:40 PM and said we will arrive shortly... so driver called up after 1 1/2 hour for intimation... till that no response from them. When i approach the driver for refund, they redirected to 'RedBus'.. After that i called RedBus in toll free[protected]which is charged) and followed up with them from 17 Aug to till today... everyday different people will attend the call & ask for the entire story. After long follow up, on 2 Sep they agreeded to refund my money with in 7 working days & i asked for confirmation mail/message, that person said that it is already recorded so no worries.. But money was not refunded as stated, so i called them again on 9 Sep... one of them picked up call and DIDN'T RESPOND PROPERLY about my queries... keep on telling some else & blaming us talked for 30 minutes... I frustrated. For phone calls alone i spent around 150 rupees. Please help me to get my ticket money Rs. 1850. Thanks.

                                    I had booked 2 online tickets from red bus, the Ticket no: THA[protected] and PNR no:[protected] of that booking. I had booked AC sleeper ticket but travel don't provide AC. I immedeatly talked with concern person of bus and also talked with red bus customer cars but couldn't got any positive response. I suffered a lot and was misguided by your side. I could not got any intimation before boarding in bus. I think its very serious issue as per consumer low. Please provide me explanation and my refund immediately other wise i will take it forward and go in legal action

                                      I had cancelled my bus reservation 8 hours before boarding and they are just refunding service tax charges. this seems to be very wrong and after this i don't think we would like to book bus from red bus with such a policy. Ticket details sent to me by red bus on sms are as: TIN: TH9V5363944 PNR:[protected] Travels: baba Travels Seat No: 9(M) Total Fare Paid: Rs.900 and i got one another SMS from DM_BABATR PNR: 46357356 betul-Indore Pick up point: Betul 02-sep-2015 @ 11:50 PM Seat No: 9 Fare:900 On 2nd Sep i received call from ([protected]) that you have booked ticket through Red Bus but our AC bus cancelled and we are sending NON AC Bus. You have option to either cancel your booking or travel on our NON AC Bus (Fare is Rs 500) and refund will be credited in your account. As i have to travel for a meeting and i don't have any other option so i have agreed to travel on NON AC bus on his confrimation for travel on same seat no & differnce amount to be paid in my account. then i got another SMS from DM_BABATR PNR: 46419804 Nagpur-Indore Pick up point: Betul 02-sep-2015 Seat No: 9 Fare:Rs. 500 I have Called to Red Bus Call center[protected] and explained this matter and ask for refund, call center executive told me that you have to mail us at [protected]@redbus.in and you will get your refund in 4 working days. i have mailed on 3rd Sep and on same time i got revert mail from red bus stating refrence number on mail(RB[protected]. on 5th sep i got another mail from red bus that your request is forwarded to our concerned team and we will revert in 3 working days. Today (on 9th sep) i got another mail from red bus stating that as they have provided alternate bus so they will not provide refund. I have called again t customer care but they refused to settle my differnce amount of Bus fare. I felt so much cheated although i paid fare for AC Delux BUS but i'm forced to tarvel on NON AC OLD BUS as it was important to me reach in indore and they are dening to refund.
