    I have ordered a drill machine online on 29th April 2014 (Order no. 9587661) which I recvd on 5/05/2014. when I opened the package to my surprise the machine was defective and never worked, I contacted rediff shopping at [protected]@rediff.co.in immediately through email, however I recvd no reply, the I contacted them on their phone no. [protected] and spoke to someone by the name Wilson, he too asked me to send an email to [protected]@rediff.co.in and told me that I will receive a reply within 24 hours and the product will be replaced within 7 days, however its now more than 48 hours and I have sent many mails to the same address but have recvd no reply so far. I tried calling on their toll free no. but the waiting period is too long.I am a shopping enthusiast and mostly shop online however this is my first time with rediff, I strongly recommend others to not to shop through rediff if they continue to give this kind if pathetic service Rituraj

      I Ordered a Dual Sim Mobile on 02.04.2014. I received that on 09.04.2014. But it was a defective piece. I sent it back to vendor (IND MART) on 12.04.2014 after consulting with Rediff shopping and it was received by IND MART on 14.04.2014. As per Rediff Shopping defective product will be replaced within 7-10 days after receiving the courier. But till date i am waiting for the order. I several times mailed to Rediffshopping but there is no response from there end. I had call to Customer Care executive too but they are not ready to listen the complaint and cut the call.

      So please be aware before purchasing through Rediff Shopping.

        Recently[protected] I ordered a biker gloves from Rediff Shopping (Half Finger Biker Driving Gloves Pure Leather, Black, Fingerless). My order id is 9517547. I paid the amount through my net banking. I received the item after a week back but when I checked the parcel, it is totally different. I ordered a pure leather biker gloves but what I got was a kind of skid proof gloves. I attached a picture below for your reference. The item I received is no way in matching with the one I ordered. Immediately I tried calling Rediff customer care but still now I could not reach them. Every time I am getting "All our customer care executives are currently busy. Please try again later". I am unable to proceed further. Please help me to resolve this issue.

        Seller : Siddhi Aggarwal, Delhi ([protected]) Even I tried calling them also. But no response from them.

              Hello Consumer, Be Aware of Rediff.com(Online Shopping) India's Best Fraud Online Shopping, I had Order Nokia 510 flip cover in Fcuking Rediff.com Order no.9210732. But i got that product as not fitted to my mobile. I call to that customer care many time ... at after 14 times only they pick the call. Then they replied please send a snap shot of flip cover. and then i send it and after that i didnt get any reply for 10 day. after i call regularly .. after 11 times only they pick the call. they replied that " we will raise of your compliant and take step" ... its goes and 7 days and 4 mail. after that they call me. tell that "return that product and we will give your courier chargers also" after that i will send every thing and send a snap shot of Courier bill. then Now reply from that idoit fraud.                 Hi, This is rajarmaan, I order one product ( SUNBABY Activity Musical Walker ) INR 2118. Order no is 9442878.Still i didn't received my product. If i check about status. its like "Awaiting Dispatch". Today is 10th day.Even i didn'treceive any reply for my mails.                 The order has been shipped by the seller partner and the shipment number is usually traceable within 24-48 working hours. Once the shipment is traceable the delivery is done within 3-4 working days.

                    i have placed an order on rediff shopping, two items on 2/apr/2014with order no 9438195, while placing an order they mentioned that it will bedelivered within 3 working days. and another order will be delivered on 4working days. On 5/apr/2014 i was received a msg that your order was dispatchedand will be delivered soon. But when i saw dispatch details, only one order wasdispatched and second was not yet dispatched. They sent me a tracking no of FedEx[protected].Till today i have not received the dispatched material and no details of othermaterial which was ordered. When i ask the same thing to rediff customer care theysimply saying it will be delayed by dealer .and i asked the dispatch details toFedEx they are not in a state to say anything .we will dispatch like this only asthere is no service for this area. My question to rediff is thatwhen the material was not ready why itwas showing in online site. Why they are promising to deliver at the mentioneddate. And to FedEx why they are not providing the details of thematerial which was sent. i was totally frustratedby rediff as well fed ex courier. What isthe necessary to book an order in online?                       Rediff is master in fraud. They have sent me a damaged product. After couple of weeks of calls, they sent a courier to pick up the product. After taking back the product, there is no refund or replacement. They have cleverly cheated the customer and also took back the product. Now, I am left with nothing. PLEASE DONT shop with Rediff Shopping

                      Rediffshopping — Refunds against Defective Product

                      I had placed an order with Rediff Shopping and the details are given below

                      Order No : 4342116
                      Date : 22 Jan 2008

                      The product was delivered in a Defective condition and based on written communication from Rediff, I couriered the defective product back to the Supplier and the same was acknolwdeged. After numerous false promises by Rediff that a new product is being sent, I finally got an email stating "Stock Out" and that they will give me a Gift Voucher for future purchases.

                      I am not interested in shopping anymore with Rediff considering the Horrible Service that I received ( I placed over 5 orders with Rediff Shopping till date and all of them hlayed delivery ). Despite writing to them that I need a Refund, they have issued a Gift Voucher ( by email ) today ( 12th March 2008 ) with an Expiry Date of 8th March 2008.

                      They refuse to respond to / act on my emails on this topic and this is turning out to be a one sided communication from Rediff Shopping.

                      I will be also informing all the newspapers and magazines about the attitude of Rediff. The speed in collecting the money is not shown in either supplying the replacement of product with a good one or returning the money back with interest.

                      Sub: - Goons sent by ARAMEX COURIERS for Parcel Collection


                      It is highly regretted to inform you the following for your immediate action.

                      1. I have bought a MP4 Player from Rediff shopping and after several requests as it was defective from the time of receipt, rediff has informed that they have instructed their official Couriers to collect the parcel.

                      2. Initially I have informed ARAMEX COURIERS that only after replacement I will be able to give it to Couriers for sending back to rediff.

                      3. Then a lady from Rediff has told me that replacement or money will be paid back only after return when I talked to her on the next day and I have informed the ARAMEX COURIERS to collect the same in the next day.

                      4. But for a very long time, almost a month there was no action in spite of sending many mails, reminders and talking to the rediff people.

                      5. On 3rd July 2008, I have received a call from ARAMEX COURIERS that they want to collect the parcel and it was mutually agreed that the parcel will be collected on 4th July 2008 between 16.30 to 18.00 hrs after making a call to me, before coming for collection by ARAMEX COURIERS.

                      6. The Goon who is appointed by ARAMEX COURIERS had come to my building at 20.30 hrs and contacted me for collection of the parcel. I have received a call from ARAMEX COURIERS also by around 20.35 Hrs, stating that the delay was due to a vehicle breakdown of the goon and it was mutually agreed that the parcel will be collected on 5th between 9.30 to 10.30 Hrs on 5th July 2008.

                      7. On 5th Julyâ??2008, the Goon had without even making a call or taking permission, has intruded into my house at around 15.00 Hrs, when my elderly parents and my teen age daughter were present and my father through my neighbor has made a call to me when I was in a driving class.

                      8. Since my parents or my daughter were not aware of anything they have made a call thro. My neighbor and my neighbor had given the telephone to that goon to talk to me.

                      9. When I asked him, why he has come without taking an appointment or without making a call, the Goon started behaving very rudely, started shouting at a loud noise and using unparlimentary words, stating that we will meet dare consequences.

                      10. Immediately, I have talked to one Mr.Balaji of Sales and Mr.Ravi of ARAMEX COURIERS and made a complaint to them about the Goons Rude behavior and Mr.Balaji had left the office without taking any action. I came to know the name of the goon as Nethaji of ARAMEX COURIERS.

                      11. After going to my house my parents have told me that, they sought the help of my neighbor due to the problem that the goon has entered the flat making huge noise by shouting at the time of entering the flat.

                      Now my Questions are,

                      1. Whether ARAMEX appoints only Goons?
                      2. Are ARAMEX and REDIFF SHOPPING colliding together?
                      3. Is there any system being followed in ARAMEX COURIERS especially to contact the customers?
                      4. If there is a system, whether all your employees are aware of it?
                      5. Is there a system of monitoring the behaviour of employees, especially those who are in contact with customers?
                      6. Do you have a system of collecting customer feedback and redressal forum?
                      7. If the system is not being followed, what action ARAMAX is going to take on erring Employees??
                      8. What is the action ARAMEX is going to take on Goons like, Nethaji?

                      I request ARAMEX COURIERS to take suitable actions against the Goon Nethaji and send proof about the actions taken against the goon Nethaji before 16.00 hrs of 7th July 2008 failing which, I have no other option except to file a complaint against him for intrusion into my house and using unparlimentary words with rude behaviour apart from threatening all in the house with dare consequences.

                      I will also file a suit against ARAMEX COURIERS as well as Rediff shopping for their involvement in sending such goons.


                      I will be sending a copy of this letter to M/S Rediff as well as post it in the complaints forum if no information on actions taken has been received before 16.00 Hrs. on 7th July 2008, Monday.

                      i received my order (Order No. 5076247) but the product is not approprite (as shown on the website). Also I don't receive the user manual, hence i am unable to use it at all. I already booked thecomplaint on customer.[protected]@rediffmail.com & tried to contact the customer care phone no.s & also to the wender, but havn't got any responce even after 6 days. I am really very much dissappointed with the service given by "Rediff Shopping".

                      I ordered one MP3/FM modulator through REDIFF SHOPPING four months back(order #5004671).

                      I received the product after 15 days and found defective.

                      I immediately returned the product to merchant (Sundeep Nemani C/o Cybermart, Kolkata) via TNT courier (DO[protected] WW ) and asked for refund.

                      After this I have contacted Rediff shopping/Cybermart kolkata(Sundeep Nemani) atleast 20 times over phone and have send 20 emails but no effective response or any refund from this cheating organisation.

                        I have ordered a Oral B Cross Action Power Toothbrush Heads with Order Number 9404191. Though the product is the Brush head, it is mentioned as "Oral-B Cross Action Power Toothbrush". The product they sent me is totally different from what is described in the web page. I had called and also written a mail to this regard to Rediff Customer Care but till now no action has been taken.                         I received a mail from Rediff on 10 April, 2014. They asked me to courier the wrong product delivered to me to the vendor.

                        I sent the courier on 15th April, 2014 through DTDC with AWB number Z21857371. The courier was delivered on 17th April, 2014.

                        I sent a mail to the concerned person on Rediff regarding the delivery of courier and till now I haven't received any communication from them.

                        When I call their customer care number, their executives cut my call when I tell them the order number through which I had ordered the product.

                        Please help me!!

                                My rediff email [protected]@rediffmail.com was hacked yesterday. I came to know about 8am about his when I tried accessing it to find out that the person who hacked my email has changed the password, security question, phone number and the alternate email address in my email account. This prevented me from resetting the password to regain access.I did not get a single alert from rediff about all this being updated which is a clear sign of account take over(I work for the Fraud prevention department in my organisation and understand how alerts should work). I called rediff customer service on 4449144 and was shocked to be told that they cannot do anything over the phone and I need to "send an email" to rediff customer service and they will reply in "4 TO 8 HOURS". So basically my private and banking info in my email account is free to be read/printed/copied by the hacker while rediff actions the request within that 4 to 8 hours. Several hours later I received a reply to the mail I sent asking me to send a list of requirements to prove the email belonged to me. I replied to the email around 12am on 6th April 2014 and have not yet recceived a reply from rediff which is nearing the end of 24hours. I have already informed everyone in my contact list how incompetent Rediff is and most are in the process of shifting to Gmail which is much more secure. However I want some action to be taken again rediff as hacking is a very serious issue and for rediff to take it so lightly is completely not acceptable.

                                  I purchased videocon tab vt85c vide order no.9380344 but after receiving the parcel when i opened the packaging the screen of the tab found broken. i called customer care about this, they said me to mail to [protected]@rediff.co.in. they asked for the photos of broken screen. i sent photos 8 days before but after that no reply. now when i call customer care they said the issued will be resolved today itself, the answer is same last 4 days.

                                    I have placed the order vide order no 9421500 for Iphone 5 cover as per the below description with which Hi definition screen guard was free at Total Price of Rs 325. However when i received the courier through FEDEX No[protected] after opening i found out that only Screen Guard is there and there is no Iphone 5 cover in it.                                         I had placed an order on rediff books on 3 March 2014 (order no.9264838). The expected delivery date was 3-5 days. It is now 15 days & there is no update on the status of my delivery. Called the customer care, the call was answered after around 15 minutes & once I placed by query, I was again placed on hold. After 15 more minutes I disconnected the call & sent a mail query. No revert has been received yet. Extremely poor service, will now be putting a request for refund of payment.
