I was using reliance dongle since 2015 and was frustrated with their service and seeked for disconnection in june 2016. When i visited reliance office i was told that i could call the customer care and further steps would be informed.

I had called reliance customer, they told me that they cannot disconnect immediately. I will have to clear the dues and then pay for the additional 7 days reliance is going to take for termintation. I was frustrated and finally paid the said amount including the 7 days and informed to the customer care executive to disconnect the service.

After which i wrote an email to on the sameday (Details are given below) i. E. 12th june 2016, giving out the complete details of the customer care executives i had spoken to and the amount i have paid basis the amount that was suggested by the customer care executive, but did not receive any response to my email.

Now after nearly 6 months i got a call from reliance (Not sure whether it is legitimate) informing that they are from legal department and threatened for legal action. This was done with out any notification nor information.

The argument given was that i had not got a termination id from reliance and hence i was bound to pay. Even though i had explained my arguments and emails conversations it was not herded to and was again and again threatened for legal action.

Since i was not interested to prolong this i agreed to pay, but i was not being any guarantee that my services will be terminated and a termination id will be provided. I was not ready to commit the same mistake twice and was insisting on proof for termination.

I had visited the reliance shop in my neighborhood (Even though i was busy in my office work), but the network was down for which i could not make the payment. I called the person who had called and informed the same and even the stores personnel also informed that network is down and payment cannot be made. The person asked me to make a manual payment, for which i refused and said there is no guarantee that this will be considered as termination. After which the said person started abusing me and threatening me and made multiple calls in the span of 5 minutes. I did not entertain those calls as i believe that i am being made a scapegoat by taking the payment and then again not terminating my account. Later the next day i got a message from the person apologising for her behaviour.

I am looking into taking legal action against the person who has threatened me and abused me, but before i do that i want to understand what exactly do you want from me. How can i trust you again and be cheated twice.

As a customer is it wrong to ask for written confirmation for my payment towards cancellation of the services.

Details of email i had sent:
"dear all,

As per the telecon i have had with the reliance customer care with the following people alamelu, sulochana, anitha, putta and monisha on 12th june 2016 between 10:00 am and 11:30 am, i am paying all my dues to reliance.

All my dues meaning, outstanding amount till today as per my billing cycle and additional amount for 7 billable days i. E. From 12th june 2016 to 19th june 2016 (As disconnection takes 7 days from reliance while new connection takes just 2 days).

The said amount comes as mentioned below for the number i use:
1. [protected] - inr 748 /-

The above amount was not decided by me, but by reliance representative. I have made the necessary payments. I am attaching the payment receipts as proof that the amount was paid on this day i. E. 12th june 2016 and also mentioning that i have cleared the mentioned amount for closure of the account. For any clarifications, the recorded conversations will be available with reliance customer care.

This is to declare that i will not longer be using reliance services neither now nor in future. My number can be deactivated with immediate effect or after 7 days as per your procedure as i have paid all my dues. Any further delay in deactivation is the fault of reliance and i will no longer be liable.

I am very happy to have closed my accounts with reliance.

Please do not ever call me.

    Hello sir, i m older user of the your company but last 2 month im face lots of problem i got massage 198 all local & std unlimited calls and 3 & 4g data for 28 days but i doesn't get the benefits of the std calls. Regarding this problem i talk with customer care more time but they doesn't resolve my problem. Please resolve it.

    As I recharged my prepaid reliance GSM no. [protected] with 501 and got the confirmation message also but still I am unable to make calls and also my data services also not getting connected. Please look in the matter and solve the issue.

      I have recharged my rcom number Rs.199 ...it is mentioned that unlimited

      all calls std n local calls...but I have got troubled by calling yesterday and as

      well as today also...n I am not able to do STD calls over 30 to 60mins

      Per Day but you didn't mentioned in thzt recharging Rs.199

      By a day please note this complaint as possible quick response n solvation...

        Sir,
        This is very shameful to say or rather must be very shameful for your company "Reliance telecommunications" that it is the one of the worst company in providing services to end customers. "The company" cannot provide user satisfaction services, in fact problems o[censored]sers are not handled properly and perfectly, a wide communication gap between the internal team of company can be analyzed after using it's services which are mentioned below in this mail.
        My subscriber id is[protected] which was issued to me in April 2016 against my broadband connection, various issues are being faced by me since the initial time till date, which were also communicated to your customer care representative every time but no permanent solution was provided for each of the complaint.
        Problem faced are as follows:-
        1. Connectivity issue- Problem in working of broadband connection i.e. in a month nearly for 10 days i am not able to access Internet. And also against which i don't get waiver.
        2. Fraud by the employee- Already mentioned all about this in previous mail.
        3. Billing issue- automatic bill is not sent to my registered email id- [protected]@gmail.com. Thus, i have to call again and again for sending me bill.
        4. Services issues - no proper contact and communication.
        Thus many more problem i have faced within 1 yr of my connection among which major ones i have had mentioned above.
        So now i don't wish to continue with such a worst and fraud company. Thus, this is my final email to the company to terminate my connection and adjust all my dues accordingly and refund the refundable amount.

          On February 12 2017, I got a message about " Unlimited local+std calls & Incoming Roaming at RC $$$. Valid for 28 days; Recharge Today limited period offer; Reliance..
          But Due to lack of time i made a recharge on the next day and offer turns into some promo balance and when i tried to contact the customer care their answer was it was valid only if you get recharged on that day..
          So i Lost My Balance for the Special pack and I Got Promo Balance Instead o[censored]NLIMITED offer,
          and
          Today On FEBRUARY 20 2017, 16:02 I Got The Same MESSAGE ''Unlimited local+std calls & Incoming Roaming at RC $$$. Valid for 28 days; Recharge Today limited period offer; Reliance''
          Again I've done Recharge with some amount and its gives me the Promo Balance and not the UNLIMITED pack.. When I Tried to call The customer care, One Person attended the call and he told Me that he will forward to their supervisor, after holding the call for about 15 MINUTES still the call didn't connected to the supervisor and there is no response for My RC..
          SO I am here Lodging a complaint "WHY SHOULD THEY SEND MESSAGES OF SPECIAL OFFERS ONLY FOR YOU BUT AFTER GETTING RECHARGE THE ANSWER IS SORRY SIR THE OFFER IS NOT APPLICABLE FOR YOU, , SO SHOULD WE TRUST THE MESSAGES OR EVERY TIME SHOULD WE CALL TO THE CUSTOMER CARE FOR THE SPECIAL OFFERS

            Sir I am reliance user it often happens reducing balance from main balance. there will automatically activate different different to my mobile no. [protected] but this time I had recharge my with account 100 MB data and currently I have 2.81 MB data in my account. Day before RS 47-48 rupee dedected from my main balance. I had complaint for this problem. but my they said my balance isn't refundable.

              It gives me a great sense of anguish and when i m writing to you.

              I am a postpaid customer of reliance bearing mobile number [protected]. I had put up a port out request on 27 Apr 17 and received the relevant code with validity.

              I submitted the documents to the new operator on 28 Apr 17 prior confirming from the reliance communications outlet LBS Road Ghatkopar (Mumbai) about the dues n paid an advance bill of rs 440.

              It was brought to my notice by the new operator that reliance communications is unethically rejecting the port out requests of hundreds of people by quoting the funny reason wheather the number ia a 3G GSM connection or a LTE 4G.

              They suggested me to confirm it from the Relaince communications first n then submit the documents. I again visited your Ghatkopar (Mumbai) outlet of Reliance and asked the details of my number weather it is 3G GSM or a 4G LTE .

              To my query, i was verbally told by the Store Manager that my number is a 4G LTE one.

              I submitted the documents to the new operator and the documents have been rejected by Reliance quoting i have not put the right option and my number is not in 4g LTE category but in 3G GSM.

              Respected Sir/Madam, this is totally an unprofessional method to forcefully retain ur frustrated customers.

              It is my humble request to you. Kindly get abide by the norms. otherwise, i will chose a legal way to get back to you.

              the most irresponsible way i have faced by you, i m gonna put up a police complain against your Ghatkopar Office for misguiding a government employee and doing 420 act against me.

              Beware, this time am submitting the documents again to the new operator.

                  I have Reliance Netconnect datacard. I recharged 3001RS one time recharge in Oct 2015 but they stoped the CDMA service from May 2016. While recharging 3001rs they didnt gave any notification about migration of technology. Now we cant afford new 2700rs device to use migrated service. So please refund us our recharged money if you are not providing service.

                            I opted for porting my number from Idea to Reliance communications. I was promised that the SIM card will be sent to me via courier. After idea services were terminated, I kept waiting for arrival of reliance SIM which didn't come despite following up with Reliance sales rep for 4-5 days. Finally I had to lodge an FIR of SIM loss and then submit it at reliance store for reissue of the SIM. The customer care services are PATHETIC, HOPELESS, USELESS.

                            Guys DON'T opt for porting your number on promises of any sales rep over the call. I did the mistake and paid the price by loosing patience, peace, visit to police station. Beware of the false promises.

                                It seems like you have a fixed template for replying to billing related issues and both the emails from Mr. Quazi and yourself have very same texts, except for a few few changes here and there. The contact phone number mentioned in both your emails is wrong:

I have been to Reliance Communication Office in Haddows Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai to get this solved, but they said that they were helpless to help me and I have to pay the bill or I will have to get my other services disrupted.

                                  Today I took recharge of 152 rs & retailer told me that this office contains unlimited local and std for a month . I recharged the same one when I cheaked inbox I got to know the offer which I get that is something else . Then I called at service centre I had an conversation with one of your executive named Shyamsunder upadhyay. He told me that the offer is changed from 9 feb onwards but retailer had showed me pamphlet stating " unlimited " enclosed with the matter . I attatched the pic of same phamplet. I told your exe who is responsible for the communication gap between the retailer and conerned person . Exe told me that you are not a retailer and before taking any recharege u must have to confirm with us . Then I replied if I have to take recharge of ruppees 10 . Should I have to confirm for the same . Den I asked again have u ever done the same thing which u told me .
                                  I deeply regret with the kind of feedback the company has provided . I had ported my number to reliance but right now feeling embarrassed.

                                      I pre paid for a one year internet pack from relaince. Mid way reliance said they are updating their network and i could upgrade and need to buy a new device which i firmly stated i did not want and was happy t continue with the package i paid for.

                                      Despite this they de activated my old sim and replaced it. This sim card was to be used with my existing package which was pre paid for.

                                      After receiving a bill, i took up the matter and when they insisted that they chose to upgrade without my permission i discontinued the service.
