    Description:-

    I have a postpaid SIM of Reliance having MSISDN[protected].
    I have paid my bills after getting all information about outstanding amount from reliance customer care.
    I was preparing to convert my postpaid number into prepaid .
    After visiting Reliance store( Gupta Telecommunication, Champdani, Baidyabati, PIN 712222) they are saying like i have a postpaid bill of approx 250 INR due for November month, for the above MSISDN.
    This is a Scam, i will also drop my complaint to circle head.

    Desirable Resolution:- Refund

    Therefore I am attaching here with the Screen shot of the bills payment.

    Kindly do the needful and suggest the way forward.

      Dear Sir/MADAM
      I am complaining here regarding my balance deduction issue by automatic activation of VAS service on my mobile no. [protected] and responses of customer care is unsatisfactory, even that i can say worst customer care service of your company now.
      Since, i am facing this issue even after DND ACTIVATION on my mobile no. from last 2 years and for that many times i contacted to your customer care executives and also senior executives to register the complaints regarding the same issue of balance deduction but, till now i am not satisfied because, after 4-5 days or 1 week again same thing started repeating on my mobile no.
      So, Please solve my issue otherwise i am totally fed up now with this network and thinking to port my mobile number into other network.

      After registering complain here till now I am not fully satisfied with all the process whatever you did on last day you have just refunded only 5 Rs. In that what i want to say is you have refunded only my last deduction balance but, not that balance which was deducted before the last deduction, which was deducting from starting of this month from my mobile.

      one more thing i am just continuously watching my message box and balance too, why because that fake/fraud automatic subscription/activation of VAS service is again activating on my no. and deducting my balance or what.

        I am one of the customer of Reliance, India. My number is [protected]. I am using this number from last 7 years I recharged the number on 9 September 2015, for Rs 196 in Delhi. Firstly, your website is not updated with the plan rates. I need to activate 3G plan which was not updated with prevailing rates and now, the plan is increased to Rs197. However, i was not aware about the changes and it got wrongly recharged. Later, I got a SMS that the number has been recharged with Rs 0.01. Moreover, I have not received any benefit or amount from this recharge other than Rs 0.01. I tried to complaint the same to customer department of reliance, but I am satisfied with the resolution.

            This is regarding the complaint I registered at Reliance with the complaint ID[protected]. I don't see any action taken on this regard yet. And the worst part is the bill is getting generated even though I haven't used it. When I talked with the customer representative I was told that the connection is temporarily disconnected till the issue is resolved and thus the billing is in inactive state. Proof of which is attached in the mail. But then I don't understand why the bill is still getting generated. Let me give a brief overview of the complaint that I registered. The device was given for repair as it was found faulty in the first week itself. The device was handed over to your sales person Sachin ([protected]) on 1st week of SEPTEMBER'15 after too many calls to him. When ever I call him to know the status, he says the device is with him and will be handed over back to me in the evening. He never delivers it and I have to call him the next day to hear the same thing again. I haven't received my device back. Tired of this I had raised a disconnection request on 13th Oct'15. It is not addressed yet, and they are still sending me the bills every month now. Also I received a legal notice regarding the bill payment. How am I supposed to pay the bill when I even doesn't have the device with me.

                Purchased data card with number [protected] a month back, you people said its working as 3G speed and can be used upto 40GB...But its working very very slow...cant able to download anything...most of the time its not even connected...now you asking monthly rent...i dont know how you people charging with this kind of service...very very disappointed with your service...

                    Dear Sir,

                    I am fed off with the reliance and escalating this issue to you and you are the last hope now.

                    I have raised a complaint in concern of 3G roaming issue in hyderabad for Kolkata sim which was bought from Kolkata.

                    Right from the beginning of the pack i have raised a concern that 3g is not working in whole hyderabad and i need a resolution. They raised a SR Number:[protected]

                    Reliance people closed this SR Number as they like without any intimation or confirming from me. I have called appellate and raised another complaint SR number:[protected]

                    No use and they closed SR Number as they like saying problem resolved.

                    Again i raised a complaint SR Number:[protected]

                    No resolution its in processing state from last 10 days.

                    Again i raised a concern with Appellate and they given a word that it would get resolved within 48hrs. No use and SR Number:[protected]. Just they called on weekend where everyone is having a good sleep and only once they called and closed SR number that i have not responded.


                    I have received a call from their technical team that they are working on this issue.

                    I have activated the pack on 9th of November 2015.

                    15 days gone and still these reliance people are fooling and harassing.

                    Daily i need to call them and they will say something else and just diverting the complaint.

                    I clearly asked their representative that in roaming they have 3G or not and particularly in Hyderabad.

                    They said YES and after that i have activated the pack.


                    I cannot go further since i am hopeless and this RELIANCE is bull network and they are not capable of solving the issue of customers and they need only money not customers satisfaction.

                    And Appellate are useless and they wont even take care of customers mails and issues.

                    And the proof of the above statement is below trail mail.

                    Please need your intervention and solve my issue. If they cannot resolve this issue and they are not capable and useless then kindly ask them to refund my money.

                    Why have you called without actually knowing the problem?

                    You have called and given the support you dont even know the time line when the problem gets resolved?

                    From past 16 days what you people are working and what is the status?

                    If i ask for time line you dont know that then how could i keep trust on you that the problem gets resolved?

                    My pack is going to expire who will bear the compensation?

                    17 days is more for you to get to resolve a simple problem?
                    Who has left the above reply can you call?

                    Let me show how the backrnd team has given resolution without checking?

                    Why to mislead and lie with the customers?

                    I am not even able to select 3g on my phone how do your technical team has given feedback that network is working at optimal speed.

                    No reply till now and who has given above reply is not even dare enough to call and justify his/her comment.

                    Just preparing for fax. get ready for big escalation to TRAI.
                    Still now they havent resolved the issue.

                    Daily their technical team people Rahul, Jitender called and just saying that there is a network problem in my area from past 20 days and asking me to connect on 2G.

                    If the pack is 3G then how could i connect 2G ? I paid for 3G not for 2G and moreover your network is dead in whole hyderabad and worst in case of network connectivity.

                    4 days more to check from your end. Have already talked with TRAI secretary and he asked me to fax each and every complaint and i do have recorded voice clips who havent mentioned their names and all going to attach and mail.

                    Who has given the above reply that network is working fine and optimum can call once and clarify ot before i shoot a mail about a blind lie you posted here.

                    Not going to leave my hard earned money. Will collect each and everything from you people.

                      Data card no. [protected]. Marketed and distributed by M/s. Adrem associates, chennai on 19.09.15. They said 14.7 Mbps speed with 40gp/m. But the speed was only 40kbps only. Made compliant in customer care on 21.9.15 and 23.9.15 vide compliant no.[protected] and[protected] respectively. Through mail also made compliant thrice. Met their officer Mr. Jain shaley at Chennai office with compliant. Made compliant to appellate authority vide compliant no.[protected]. They barred my data card usage, since the speed is very low. They said, their technical person will visit the place and check the speed and report us. Based on that, they will take action. But so far no one is turned up. Only once, one person says himself as technician called over phone and enquired about the issue. He said he cannot do anything, since card usage is barred. But I am getting monthly bill, since the data card is not deactivated. Actually they sold the product, 15 days return condition, if it is not satisfied about the speed. I made a compliant in two days. I am requesting my money which I paid Rs.1200/- and asking them take back the data card. But reliance saying, since the dealership sold the product and took the commission. So you contact the dealer for your money. But dealer saying, we paid data card price to reliance. So they have to take decision. Finally I came to understand, reliance and their dealers selling there product to non signal areas too and cheating customers. This way they are making me run for my money. Also raising bill for non using data card and collection agency's calling and disturbing for payment. Please take necessary action and help me get my money back.

                        I have not been using the Data card for 3 months now. Data card number [protected] I have raised umpteen times the complaint that I am not using the service anymore and it was in suspended mode The bill got generated during suspended mode, I got a message today saying I need to pay Rs 1800 I have been a loyal customer for 3years of reliance, but I am being threated of legal action now. Are you people really care about the user of the data card. whether they use it or ask him what is the problem I am facing. I request an apology mail from Reliance for the legal action threat your are giving in messages. All the concerns I have raised through mails and calls are falling in deaf ears. I can pay Rs 200/- for which I think I have used the datacard.

                        Dear sir,

                        In our chennai circle many o[censored]s have the same following problem. I think customers from various regions are also experiencing the same after reading the above reviews.

                        * After giving a new connection, first one or two months the broadband is working flawlessly
                        * Then in every month 15-20 days there is no internet connection.
                        * Then this useless "CALLING CUSTOMER CARE" will become a routine day-to-day process for us.
                        * Every time they are saying their trained reply"YOUR PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED WITHIN 24 HOURS"
                        * Then at the end of every month a BILL NOTIFICATION CALL asking "when you are going to pay the bill?"

                        This is my second new connection from RELIANCE BROADBAND. And they are saying this for the second time. When we approach the reliance office, they are saying that there is a problem with your OPTICAL WIRE CABLE. Our company always delays as it is very costly( FOR AMBANI GROUP) & it has to be brought from distant place (NOT AVAILABLE IN METROPOLITAN CITY - CHENNAI? ) adding that the only AVAILABLE OPTION is NEW CONNECTION. For this our company will provide you with immediate connection. Each time we paid around RS.2000 as an advance including installation charges.

                        * Is there any REWARD POINTS for your employees, if they give a new connection or for maximum number of connections?

                          After few days I got the following reply from their side:

                          That was in July 2015 and its now November 2015 and i still didnt got my refund.

                            Data card purchased (A.K associates t nagar) on 28.03.2015. Got malfunctioned in 15 days went to authorized service center referred by Reliance mobile store. Service center (Cell tech, egmore) promised delivery within 7 working days but got repaired after 25 days only nearly. Within these days I got calls from reliance that I need to pay the 1st month bill amout. I said “I haven’t used data card gave it to service center”. And they said, pay atleast Rs.300 to avoid suspension. Then I paid the amount and waited. As I cannot afford to pay without using data card to the fullest so approached mobile store. They said, “Waiver can be made with service job sheet. Hence got some service proof and gave it to mobile store. They said waiver request sent and wait. And they promised will get back within 5 days”. And they asked me not to use data card till get solution. No response from them till now, even after repeated contact. Actually they neglected my issue by not raising waiver request. Even I went directly and approached. They actually made request (that too doubtful/not made actually) on that day only I mean after my 1st visit. And somehow I got waiver request proof with complaint no. Note: they made notebook entry also. I tried to contact the store using telephone numbers but it’s all dead. I was really upset and did online search about the store address got some contacts from Haier service website with that address. After repeated contact, a person telling “now the mobile store is closed, shifted, changed to somewhere” and another time the same person (may have worked in the old store) telling “Im not working there”. See I’m an outstation and I got health issues I can’t go and approach appropriate every time directly. I ever have seen such a poorest network in my life. Because of your negligence, you have dragged me all these days. Now lost my data card (terminated), not even used for 1 month with fully. If your device worked, properly, serviced in time and if you had responded earlier, I would not have been dragged all these days.

                            Tragedy is not yet finished; I used make calls to customer care, and ask the status, complaint request and all. They are telling, we are not the right person, we cannot check (are we living in a stone age?) and asked me contact the mobile store or outlet but the beauty is mobile store is vanished. Till now I don’t have answer for my 1st waiver request. Now legal notice from pondicherry office came. I was so upset. They demanded me to pay amount for the correct usage. Then I paid the said amount Rs.1200/- with so much of struggle/agony for my usage by going directly and contacting complaint cell of Reliance communications, haddows road, nungambakkam. I met complaint cell officer too, told all bad incidents happened but all in vain. She is also telling no we don’t deal your issue contact the pondicherry branch. And I came to know that no complaint made by the mobile store from her. And you know I asked for No objection from them when I pay the amount. She said “no contact pondicherry office’”. Now for the rest amount i.e. unused charges for unused months, pondicherry legal office also said “we have made request, wait for sometime” I asked waiver mail or any proof for the request. But they said, no we don’t provide proof” second time I was disappointed with another fake promise from you. And I waited 2nd time for the waiver without proof blindly.

                            And I also asked compension too from pondicherry legal office by reactivating my datacard and giving my unused data (remaining data), with extending days according to the service period. And finally, clearance from you. Now he is also not attending phone calls, no solution so far, going for personal work, 24 hours busy. He gave alternative pondi number. He is also not responding me. What do you think of a customer? Even at times, they are shouting at customers. No politeness at all. Is this a way to treat customer (poor, desperate)? Keep in mind, we are not borrower. We believe your network choosing but you? Consumers have right to be heard.

                            Okay, now tragedy reboots with another demand notice from advocate from Chennai branch without checking technical details on behalf of Reliance communications, nungambakkam. And I contact the particular advocate. He is not accepting saying “you have to pay the amount”. He is also asking the proof of waiver request. But the pondicerry legal office is not giving proof what should I do? I made so much research, who is proper authority? Whom should I contact? Who could I believe? Whom to approach? Who would give solution? and all. Even I contacted Mumbai head office, said the issue. No response from them also. I finally, got appellate authority contact from online. Contacted, they also got complaint and said “get back in 7 days”. No calls so far. I called them again they are telling “complaint is still in processing” wait. Wait Wait Wait! How long? life long or what? I really don’t know what the hell is happening. No transparency at all. No one is responding properly. You have put me into mental agony. Because of you I lost my money, energy, precious time, health and all. If this harassment still continues I think I’ll have to take my issue to the consumer court. Where I hope I get clearance and even compensation for loss (because of your negligence) too.

                                  My subscriber ID is[protected] and for the past two months since the date of 26th of September 2015, I have been constantly complaining regarding my broadband internet services not working. When I call your applet office they assure me it will be solved in 2 days, 4 days or 10 days and it has been going on since the past two months. You are closing the complaint on your own whims when you have not even fixed the problem and do not call me or your engineer does not visit there is basically no response from your end for the past 2 months all you have been saying is "commercial problem is there and fibre cut is there and material shortage is there". So plz do tell me what is going on that for 2 months it has not been solved. are you inventing fiber optics is that why it is taking you so long? Are you going to solve it? or are you going to just keep me hanging? If so do tell me I will gladly disconnect my connection. I call your applet office and if I keep calling they act like I am causing them discomfort and when I do take call later they say that my complain has been closed. I expect that I get the full waver when and if I get my internet back and not have any issue with it cause of you falsely closing my complain as it is fixed. I need a detailed information regarding the Issue and when it will be solved. I have tired all available parties from about end and nothing has happened so far. Expecting a proper reply. Regards.

                                    I am using a reliance postpaid connection [protected] and i have closed this connection 3 month back but still they are generating and sending monthly bills. I have called many time to customer care there customer care line 30333333 never connect, i have also sent the complaint email to customer care but they never responded back and they dint close my connection . could you please help me on this.

Sub:- Non Compliance of agreement – failure in payment. Ref:- Facility Agreement dated April 1st, 2015.                                         This is the reference number against issue raised to "[protected]@relianceada.com" "Subscriber ID[protected] and [protected] : Reliance=[protected]' Regarding cancellation of reliance broadband connection and refund status [T[protected]RS010Z148972] I have been sent several emails to "[protected]@relianceada.com" from 5 months in every email they are escalating but no action taken so far. I have asked for new connection in sector 5 gurgaon for reliance broadband connection first they said connection is possible and took they 1500/- rupees and got confirmation mails also from reliance... But later said connection not possible... when i said for cancellation and refund the money but in 5 months daily i am following still no action taken so far. Reliance broadband is complete FRAUD.                                         I am facing same problem in Ghaziabad
                                        just dont understand how to get my money back
