Hi,

My Reliance broadband account # is[protected]. It is no longer active. On 16/10/2010 i had complained that my connection is not working. The ticket # is[protected]... Initially i was told that my connection will be restored. After a couple of days, I was told by your customer service agents that my connection will not be restored as there is wire theft near my area and the service for this particular area (Sakamma Layout, B. Narayana pura, Bangalore 560016) has been cancelled. When I told the customer service representative that you cannot cancel the service just like that as I got my previous service provider's line taken off only as i had got this connection and if I have to take that back, I will be losing the deposit that I will have to make there again. The agent told that my activation charge of Rs.500/- of Reliance broadband will be returned to me. Hence i did not make payments henceforth. My billing cycle is from 11th of every month i guess, so u guys can keep my activation fee and wave off all the dues. I have not been able to use the broadband service since 16th October.

When i contacted the CSR, i am told that my activation fee will be refunded and on the other hand i am getting calls regarding payment of my bill which is even more frustrating after cancelling the line by YOUR CHOICE.

Who will pay the damages of the deposit that I have gone through by cancelling my previous connection?? And the building damage for nailing the holders and acting as though you will provide service and take it off when you feel like?? And to get a new connection with another service provider again??

This is the same case with my neighbours and the customers you had in this area....

You please wave off the charges and send me the no dues letter or pay the damages and then claim your dues.

When the service was stopped, the bill was Rs.422.29. After that I have used the connection from 11th Oct to 15th Oct. So it will anyhow be within Rs.500 which i am asking you to adjust from the Installation charges that was told to be returned as the disconnection was from the company's side. But I am asked to pay Rs.997 when the connection is no longer active. To make it clear, the service was not stopped for non payment. I am attaching the bill of that month to make it clear that the due date was Nov. 1st.

Following is my interaction with the customer service and i dont see it going anywhere so trying here.

Hi,

I am telling you that my net connection was never fixed after 16th October and you are going on saying that it was fixed. Please check my usage from 16th and you will know. I had one bill to be paid and the due date was November 2nd. It was in no way disconnected for Non payment. I am asking you to check with the local branch to know about the service being provided to my connection and looks like you dont want to go any further than checking the system. If your system is updated as issue resolved for the calls i have made after 16th October, It is wrongly updated. You can check my calls with your agents.

When for no fault of mine, you guys have disconnected my connection, why should i bear the installation cost??? For the same reason, the CSR had told me that the installation charge will be refunded. How can you tell me that it will not be refunded. I didnt email to know your rules and regulations. Its out of the rules that the connection has been discontinued. If there is wire theft, you guys had to deviate to another direction and still continue to provide the service. It may be out of your limits to exempt the bill. I did not take this connection for you to stop service in a couple of months.

Please forward this email to your supervisor or someone with enough powers to take decisions and not just tell me what are the norms.

Well the connection was not working way before the due date. If it had to be suspended for non-payment, it should have been after 2nd November or so which was supposed to be the due date, but my connection has not been working since 16th October. It was only 5 days after my billing cycle for that month had started and all the previous bills have been paid. You have not known the proper situation and probably are going by what is reflecting on the system. I was told about the refund by your CSR as I told that person that I had recently taken the connection and you guys cannot simply say that you have decided to not provide service for the area that i am residing at. Then that person said that as the disconnection has been from the company's end, my activation charge would be refunded. Even before that, the people who came to get my documents had said that there was no activation fee and that Rs.500 would be refunded to me when I get the connection cancelled. The person's name is Jai kumar.

Please check with the local branch about the exact situation about the service being provided to my area and then let me know the status.

    Dear Sir

    Today I got a SMS from RIM (3600) Saying " On E-Recharge 121 get Rs 121 TT & 121 LOC MIn Free". I recharged for the same and then got only Rs. 0.01. I contacted to Customer care and come to know its only promo offer for Rs 121 and I have to use it within 7 days only. Nowhere it was mentioned in SMS. I asked the guy to revert it back which he denied. Then I requested to talk to his seniors for lodging a complaint. Customer care guy left me on hold so as I can talk to his senior. But after 10-12 min of hold (Not free call) I got disconnected.

    RIM should provide whole details with there so called good offers or should not send such messages.
    I want to revert the recharge or My money back. ( May be I am the single to register the incident but there can be a lot many people who suffered from same but did nothing and RIM is making money by making people fool).

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I am reliance GSM prepaid user, my mobile number is [protected]. For last few months money is being deducted from my account for unknown reason. I never activated any additional services for my this number. I tried calling your useless customer care who doesn't understand anything apart from KANADDA and hangs up the call for no reason.

      Can you please let me know why amount is deducted every month without my permission to activate any service? Also I want the resversal of all my money deducted till date before moving to consumer court.

        I used Reliance Netconnect High Speed 1x for 2 years but due to the lack of speed and expensive tariff rates i called up the customer care to disconnect the connection , the customer care employees offered me a 499/- unlimited plan and i took it, but after 13 days o[censored]nlimited usage my connection was barred and i received a bill of 6380 , i called up the same customer care and got the information that the 499 offer hasn't been applied and they just provided the information ( no steps for changing plans were given to me in the first place, they said i can use unlimited net from next month).

        I paid the huge amount of 6380 and asked for a disconnection, the Web World at palarivattam cochin said that the connection is already disconnected but after a month i received a bill for 800 (my old plan) and after that a 550 (499 + taxes, the scheme that was originally offered) . Even though i haven't used a single kb of net in 4 months i keep on receiving bills , the Web World (reliance) at palarivattam has ensured that there is no need to pay the bill but they refuse to take any written documents and i keep on getting bills, please take action against such corporate scams that keep on milking the normal citizens.. I sold my p.c to pay the bills and the customer care officers insist that i keep on paying bills while their Web World employees assures that there is no such need. please help I'm just a student and i cannot afford more than this, I've suffered both emotional and financial problems due to this.. please help...         I've received a bill ordering me to pay a sum of around 1300 in 7 days.. I've stopped using the data card for 4 months and yet the bill keeps on coming. Please contact RELIANCE WEB WORLD COCHIN - PALARIVATTAM to know the actual truth about the issue and please stop harassing your customers like this...

        I do not and will not use the data card and that is my choice, your reluctance to disconnect the service after several personal pleas shows the level o[censored]nethical practices of your firm.

        I hope that you contact the Web World employees namely SARATH who has been dealing with this issue for the past 3 months and finally disconnect the service ...

        COCHIN - PALARIVATTAM web world employees have claimed to disconnect the service 3 months ago and i do not see the reason for me to pay that sum..
        I received a call from RELIANCE employees informing that they have resolved the issues related to my number [protected], i was informed that there is no need to pay my dues as they've seen that i haven't been using the data card for 4 months...

        Even after their promise i've received the bill as usual for 1710 r.s, what is the meaning of all of this, what kind o[censored]nethical enterprise are you running? If you want us to pay please say it up front rather than waiting till our credit reach the maximum. I do not mind spending anything to get rid of this ... I hope you people can give me an accurate information on this...

On the repeated complaints put by me to the customer case, still no action have been taken yet on this regard. I am living in kurukshetra Distt., pehowa road ,near bhor saidan.
          I am not getting any signal in the room i am leaving. I have to go far to get the signal. Pleae take the proper action, So as to get off from this problem.

          Your customer service proves me a embroil from last 20 days. In my company my seating arrangement got changed and I have to seat in Basement with my team. None of any Reliance GSM Sim is working here. Other provides are at their best including Reliance CDMA.

          Your customer support hangs-up my call and most of time they disallowed my number to talk with representative. IVR Unable to transfer my call to any one senior than supervisor.

          *May be they are coordinating with NASA, ISRO other agencies. They are too busy with their Mission Mars.

            Hi,

            We have been facing issues with Reliance Broadband frequently now.

            2 weeks ago a complaint was lodged and to say the least when i tried to get the status of the complaint 2 days after, i was questioned by customer care executive why did i not remind them of this complaint. Are we supposed to remind them everytime?

            If anybody is monitoring this complaints, Could you please tell us the SLA for normal broadband customers?

            It has been pathetic approach by Reliance towards customer satisfaction.

            Looking forward for service restoration.

            Regarding Your Complaint in the Consumer Complaints Forum, I would like to help you in this matter. At first before warning the Company or Taking any action You need to Clarify Some Points as Below:

            1. Have You Mailed Reliance @ [protected]@relianceada.com with your Correct Details. If Yes and they Have solved your problem then no Problem but If not then EMAIL ME your [ COMPLAINT+RESPONSE ]
            send to reliance so they we have a proof [ If they Bill You Later On]
            2. Secondly Provide Your Correct Address + Details [Broadband & Landline] so that we can Provide you the Details of your Nearest Nodal Officer of Reliance. You will have to send a written Complaint to him and wait for the reply.

            3. But Even if your Problem is not Solved, then Post your Complaint with their Response + Your Details at Consumercourt.in
            The Court will take the necessary Actions.

Its my bad luck that i don't have any other service provider in my area other wise i wouldn't have opted for RELIANCE.

              I am Hariom kushwaha from chandigarh. I am reliance CDMA prepaid customer having mobile number [protected], as i was requested for DND service activation on 20 oct 2010 through customer care representative of reliance. As per their information it will take 45 days for activation, but after 45 days i am still facing problems o[censored]nwanted phone calls and messages from reliance. I have also registered so many times complains against this through reliance customer care representative but no any action taken by reliance. I am still facing problems o[censored]nwanted calls and sms, please take necessary action.

                Hi Sir, I am a Reliance GSM user from the last 1 year. I am using Daily Deduction Sms pack from last 8 months. According to this scheme you will get 500 sms daily at a deduction of Rs.1 per day (also when you are in roaming). I am on roaming from last 1 month. From last few days from 29th of Dec. I hav charged of each Sms. When i informed to Customer Care, they didnt submit my complain saying tht u had consumed all the free sms for the day. But I didnt get a single free message. All of messages i sent has been charged from main balance at the rate of 50paise per sms. And also they are not giving me resolution of that problem. Inspite they refused to take my complain.

                  Hello sir I am sonia from vadodara my email address is sonia.[protected]@yahoo.com my complaint is that We did a online purchase of Reliance data card on 17/08/10 thru a company named Vriti Infocom Pvt. Ltd. of Noida which are appointed agent of reliance for its online sale but after a very short use of 8-10 days we got a heavy bill of almost Rs 5,000/- but we didn't use it so much... now after complaining so many times in reliance customer care they say that we have to pay this amount immediately other wise they will send warrant and all and they are continuously giving harrasing calls for this and they say that they don't know about this agency but this is completely a froud ...please help me regarding this as soon as possible

[protected] CDMA TO Reliance GSM .But after providing documents, my number has been deactivated.from 6 days ,when i raised the topic then every time i am getting the same answer.My porting request code no.RHZNCVMG dt 11.12.2010,I am receiving the messages of porting ,but new sim is not activated,and no incoming/outgoing from 6 days.MY both sim is deactive.Sir plz solve my problem.

                      i purchased a new cdma no ([protected]) 25 days before but company closed the connection after 4 days with a cause of not fulfilled doc.
                      so i went to reliance web world (marris road ,centre point ,aligarh) and submit the docs.(my voter id card of bihar ; local residential certificate on my college letter pad ,xerox of pan card and 1 photograph),that day was 24 dec 2010 .and the webworld representative says that ur no is activated after 24 hrs but my no is not activated till now ......
                      what is the actual cause no one says in web world and no satisfied answer is given by them ...
                      pls help me because that no is spread in large scale in my colleague and office ..

                      Dear Sir,

                      I am using Reliance GSM SIM. My number is [protected]. On 09th-Dec-2010, reliance service provider had deducted Rs 30 from my mobile balance without my consent and when i called them up next morning on 198 toll free number, one executive name Radhe Shyam told me that i have activated news pack on my mobile. I asked them if i have activated some service pack then i should receive any sms stating that following service pack have been activated, but i have not received any sms like that, hearing this he did not speak anything.

                      I asked him again to connect to his boss so that i can speak to him, but after some hold he said that boss is busy so can not speak to you right now. I asked him to cancel that activation. This is not the first time they have done like that. Its their usual duty to deduct some amount and later say that you have made request to activate, but consumer by that time have lost some amount from their balance.

                      So Sir, i think this should be checked seriously. I looked into the Portal for public grievances to lodge the complaint, but there is no option for Private sector actually.

                        This is to inform everybody that RELIANCE COMMUNICATION (GSM) do not care for their CUSTOMERS. On 21st Dec 2010 I had activated caller tune from their 5123999 SMS service by, but the wrong song got activated, I called their Customer care on 198 but the executive their are not willing to help their customer they told me that it has been activated from my side & there is no MISTAKE from Reliance. I called several times after that my complaint was lodged (but of no use).

                        Further I sent emails to CUSTOMER CARE of Reliance but from their also they are not ready to except their mistake. And reply to me every time that it is the correct song I had selected form my side.

                        This was not expected from a company like RELIANCE.

                          on 24.11.2010 one cricket pack NAMELY NZRWCKThas been activated on my mobileby debiting Rs. 7.00 /- from my account. After that four times i'd given complaint to the Customer Care of the Reliance and they had posted Rs. 7.00/- in my account by deactivating the said cricket pack.
                          But my problem is that, once the pack has been deactivated then why the same has been again activated by debiting my account. At all the times the Customer Care Representative (CSR) said that in future it will not be activated, but the same has been activated by debiting my account. It is frustating to me to give a call to CSR and making complaint again and again.

                            This has reference to the above subject regarding the Excess deduction from tarrif plan. I have a reliance prepaid connection and activate per paisa call in same from the day one, which i have purchase. I have purchase the such connection / sim 02years ago. But this time i am facing problem that when i was in roaming areas flate charges deduct from my balance (i.e.local call Rs.1/- and STD call Rs.1.50). I this regards, when I was contact your reliance world they tell me that old connection terrif is asitis (no change) and new rates are applicable on new connection.

                            So, i am requesting you to please look into the matter on you end as soon as earliest possible.

WHEN I CALLED TO CUSTOMER CARE THEY TOLD THAT I HAVE selected/accessed JAVA games from R World BUT I did not access any games from R World, even I never checked R World Menu and I never used any applications/ R World. I found that Reliance has deducted my money against the services which are not activated/used by me.
                              This is not a way that Reliance can deduct any amount without any usage or selection of any applications. When I lodged the complaint against it, they gave me vague excuses and blaimed me that I have used R World.                                   I called up reliance net broadband customer care they said that they cannot process the refund and i need to wait 20 days as they have some technical problem in my area. i said that i am getting full network but still i am getting 12 kb/s downloading speed. they said that they already have issues from that area and it will be rectified withing 20 days. but my subscription is only for 30 days so after 20 days i need to recharge again of rs 500
                                  Its really a very hard earn money and these reliance people making us fool. they never give 3.1 mbps bandwith they just give commitment but they charge accordingly to high speed braodband. i faced the same problem 8 months back where i was facing the same issue i was getting 10 to 12 kb/s downloading
                                  Their plans are very high
                                  300 mb- 250rs
                                  700mb-500 rs but its worthless. i dont know how many people have faced. they are just making money by making everyone fool.
                                  They staright away said that they cannot give the refund and i have to wait for 20 days to get the speed which is absoluetly fake coz it will never be fixed as i faced the same issue 8 months back.

                                    On[protected] i got a sms from company saying that the complain has been processed. But soon after I again got a call from [protected] promoting its caller tunes.                                       No Use man, I am a Victim of Rcom Broad(xyz)), PUNE, paid 500 installation charges in mid of 2007 but gods grace they identified no signal coverage in our area. and they said would refund money in month. after somory round and calls to sales guys installation parties I recived a expired check after 6 months (check expired two months before they dispatch ) finally I visited Rcom Main office in Yerwada several times, finally a gentle Helpdesk lady gentle explained no point in coming to these guys daly so many people come and go It is a usaul routine here. dont ask me for details (as I foget and happy to not recollect). check with Yerwards Rcom office, there even now several innocent people should have making rounds.

                                      ( I Seriously believe even RCOM is corrupt internally like ourGovt Institutions.)

                                      Later I lost my energy and i copnsidered my self donated POOR RCOM.

                                      Dear gentle RCOM guys dont say check sent returnred as iam staying in same house till now.

                                      I had one more horrible RCOM experience my mobile number [protected], SIM card failed after using just 3 month (in Jan 2010 ) as I am desperate to use the number I roamed all the Rcom franchieses in enitire PUNE fortunately they have lakhs or prepay sims for new numbers but no replacements (MNP is not operational). finally I gave up and switched to another operator.

                                      The lessions I learnt while dealing with Rcom is better to avoid if there are established operaors providing services.

                                      RCOM is not a network of choise. if there is no alternative then only choose.

                                      How ever Now Iam using another RCOM broad band connnection based on DSL Technologies, Iam a happy customer with failure rate is negligble.
