I bought two HITACHI Sac 1.5ton 3sinv Waza 3200i 318eae inverter ACs
from Reliance Digital Thakurpukur Store in Kolkata, Reliance Retail Ltd, Premises No. 46,
Ideal Regency.
AC No. 01 bought for Rs. 45, 990.00 on[protected] in the name of Prabeer Sarkar/[protected]
along with 04 yrs extended warranty for Rs. 8, 680.00, total Rs. 54, 670.00. Invoice No.
[protected]/04.06.2017
AC No. 02 bought for Rs. 45, 990.00 on[protected] in the name of Mahua Mondal/[protected]
Invoice No.[protected]/07.06.2017
After multiple interactions with the Reliance Customer Care (Call No. [protected])
Both the ACs' were delivered on 14.06.2017 vide
Delivery Note No. [protected] dt 13.06.2017 &
Delivery Note No. [protected] dt 13.06.2017 respectively.
On the evening of 14.06.2017 around 6pm one person (Sk. Akram/[protected] of R.N. Aircon)
along with a helper came for the installation of the ACs and started installing the
AC No. 01. During the installation he did the following:
a. Cut the 10 Ft Copper Pipe unnecessarily and used only 7.5 Ft, and might have the intention
to steal the balance portion as he had kept the unused portion outside my house, I somehow
managed to see it and took it inside. I did not go for any confrontation.
b. Damaged the 3 pin plug indicator.
c. Finally after the installation of AC No. 01 around 9.45pm declared that the compressor is
not working and billed me Rs. 650.00 but I did not pay anything after talking to his senior
Sk. Sagar/[protected].
c. Also this person did not install the AC No. 02 and took away all the screws and additional
materials which come with the AC which remained unused that day.
After Sk. Akram/[protected] of R.N. Aircon left my house I switched-on the AC and the AC worked fine
for the night.
On 15.06.2017 I informed the Reliance Customer Care about the incident of 14.06.17 and asked them to
send a trained person for the installation job.
On the evening of 15.06.2017 one person (Taz/[protected] of R.N. Aircon) along with a helper came for
the installation of the AC No. 02 and installed it to my satisfaction. When I asked him to check AC No. 01,
he said as the AC is working fine there is no need to check anything.
Taz/[protected] billed me for Rs. 1500.00 (including the previous days bill of Rs. 650) and I paid
him total Rs. 1500.00 (Rs. 500.00 in cash & Rs. 1, 000.00 via Paytm to his senior Sk. Sagar/[protected])
I did not deduct anything for the copper wire & 3pin plug indicator which were damaged by Sk. Akram/[protected].
Now, all this while the ACs' were running fine, suddenly from the evening of Sunday 02.07.2017 the ACs stopped
working. I called the Reliance Customer Care on[protected] and got an assurance to get service within 24 Hrs
with a call no. [protected] for reference.
I waited patiently on Monday 03.07.2017 and again called the customer Care on Tuesday 04.07.17 for not receiving any service
and again got a confirmation that someone will call within 6pm of 04.07.17 and a reference no. [protected], but did not get any
call from any technician. So, I called the customer care and was informed that Mr. Chayan Pal will call on 05.07.17 before
12 noon.
On the morning of 05.07.2017 Mr. Chayan Pal/[protected] called and enquired about the complaint and problem being faced.
I informed him and he said that, he cannot deal with the kind of problem my ACs' are facing and that he will ask some
senior to attend the call.
In the after noon Mr. Sanu Pal/[protected] called and visited my house and informed that the
control panel of both the ACs' inner and outer units need repairs and replacement. I was shocked that how can a new
machine's parts get dmaged so soon. Mr. Sanu Pal/[protected] said that he had informed his support team and they might do the job
within 2-3days time without any assurance.
I called Reliance Digital Thakurpukur Store and informed the concerned person about my problem and asked him for a replacement
but his responses were not appropriate and I called the customer care centre and again got an assurance for a call back with a ref
number [protected] but till late evening did not get any kind of call back either from the Customer Care/Reliance Store.
I also called HITACHI customer care but they asked me to contact Reliance Customer Care instead.
Now please tell me what should I do in this situation. Should I forget my investment of more than Rs. 01 lacs for the ACs'?
I want a complete replacement of the ACs in case the panels need to be changed of the exising AC's as I am not going to settle for
any repairs.
Please revert back with a solution.
