I need to complain about Reliance Fresh store in Sector-4, Gurgaon. It is just a general observation from one of your customer:
1) Every-time we buy fruits or vegetables from the concerned store, when their freshness can't be checked eg. watermelon, melon, etc. the moment we cut them we see that they are rotten or completely dried, in a state that they should have been thrown days ago.
2) Even though there are number of promotional schemes put in the store, when we goto billing counter, they say that scheme is already over. I can't understand that if the scheme is already over than why the employees are so lazy to remove the promotional papers stuck all around the store.
3) The whole store is in a mess, things are thrown here and there, shelves are not organized and their are no buckets or poly-bags to carry your purchased things home.
4) The employees are very rude, show no courtesy or help the customers.

Even though I have complained 2-3 times in the 'feedback book', which I know nobody looks at, still I was hoping that things improve in this store.

I write this complaint not because I hope to see any improvements but because I believe that Reliance is a big name and to maintain their credibility they can at least provide a clean and hygienic enviroment to buy fresh products.

fruits — fruits and vegetables are not fresh

I am krishna kishore patchala I went to reliance fresh store at chandra mouli nagar today the fruits and vegetables in that store are in worst condition and this is the 24th time I am facing this,the store management are mixing the good and the spoiled fruits

    I bought a Fa deodrant which had a offer for free bathing lotion on the 25th of April 2010, it was late night they were switching of the lights so had to quickly pick the product and pay the said amount to my utter surprise the product had a shell life of 24 months and it had already crossed the 24 months duration but they are selling such products I was also searching for Deodrants it was the same case with those products also after prolong search i could get a deodrant which was 5 months old. Please look into the matter I am afraid may be they are also selling food products which had expired long back.

      This is a complaint against Reliance Fresh - Uttarahalli outlet.

      I have been a regular customer for Reliance fresh. Offlate as soon as the load of vegitables and fruits come in to the store, the whole sale vendors come to the store and take away all the good in bulk which leads us to normal customers having nothing to take.

      This is happening with the consent of the Store manager and people who work there. They get seperately paid from thw whole sale guys who take away all fruits and vegitables in bulk.

      When we asked the store manager about this attrocity, the says they are all regular customers and the load is less for the day. But no regulad house hold customer will buy 20 kilos tomato or any other vegitables.

      I know that reliance's only goal is to make money in whatever form and they don't mind whether the consumers purchase or whole sale people.

      So I strongly suggest that instead of naming the store as Reliance fresh Mart, they can change it to Reliance fresh whole sale mart and they can display that they sell only for whole sale people.

      I wonder if some one could take any action on this.

      a lady working in cochin oberon mall reliance fresh behaved with us as if we where low class people and wouldnt even let us open and check some curtain materials.She commanded us saying, you can open only if you buy.It was more of like, if you open...you have to buy it.In this age of competition, can a simple worker in a supermarket behave so arrogantly with a customer.Mr.Ambani, are you listening?We used to love coming to your outlets, but yesterday we have been hurt very much by the behavior of your staff.My number is [protected].

        While entering Reliance Fresh Shop, Security asked to keep you Bag outside in Rack, I told there is a lap top, He said Ok no problem, I will take care.
        After 30mins I came back from shop, and my Lap-Top was not there. I surprised I asked security ,He start searching ,I didn't get my Lap-Top ,I called store Manager. He is very arrogant, He said raise compliant into Police station. I have given FIR in Police station.
        Reliance Fresh not at all good shop as well as the people of Reliance Fresh . They are Bull sheet; Idiet.Insted of taking responsibility simply they are telling this is not our problem.
        They don't know how to speak with Customer.
        So kindly request to all of you don't go to Reliance Fresh for any purchase.

        Hi!

        I strongly agree with your point. My experience today is as below. they are cheaters and robbers.

        This is complaint about misbehavior and robbery at Reliance fresh at Whitefield in Bangalore. Just today at around 2:15 in the afternoon I went to this store in my office car for an official purpose of buying a sample. This is hardly any distance form my office, about 2 mins drive in car. the store had no customers, except for one probably who was at the billing counter. it was the normal empty store of afternoon for them, the cleaning and arranging work was going on. I was inside the store for roughly about 5 mins, and was coming back to my office as did not find the sample required there. at my office gate i realized i had left my mobile on the shelf in the reliance fresh store while looking at products. Immediately the car driver called on my phone to see if its ringing and we thought we will tell anyone who picks up the phone in the store to please keep it with them and we are coming in a minute to take it back.

        it was ringing and there was no answer. meanwhile we were driving towards the store. the moment the car reached outside the store, my mobile was switched off. we went in and asked for the manager. he was called and he came out of the store room. i explained the loss of my mobile at his store and requested him to do a check of everyone in the store. he refused bluntly. he said sorry nobody in our staff has taken your mobile, and so I will not check or ask anyone. on repeated requests he refused to take any kind of action. I went back to office losing hope. picked up my bag and left office, thinking i will go back and ask them more strongly this time, and not give up just like that.

        Went to the store again, told that manager firmly that it was not fair that he was not even doing a check. he said he was confident about the integrity of his employees, so i told him why do you fear then, check everyone. he kept fighting and giving excuses like they are busy etc. but honestly, like anyone would have observed, during mid afternoons, there is no business or work at such stores. So, he was clearly avoiding the check. When i started arguing very strongly, I told him I don't want to speak to and asked him to call his superior. He called his manager/superior, who was more rude than anyone there. I tried my best to explain it was an official number and as I 'am a working woman there are a lot of important numbers stored in the phone which need and cannot work without. That was the number people in my company reach me, and its very very important for me. Yet it was of no use. He pointed fingers at me and shouting, saying, go and complaint in police, its not our problem. I cannot explain the kind of treatment I got there.

        Unfortunately it is the store we shop the most for all regular needs of vegetables/fruits/groceries etc.

        The conclusion for me and for others reading this is, if at all this happens to you, it will be a suffering. So avoid going to such stores where there is no respect and value for customers like us.

          I m a regular customer at reliance fresh, anna nagar, Madurai. This is the second time i'm facing a problem with the billing staff. The first time a guy behind the counter refused to accept coin change because I kept it on the counter instead of giving it in his hand as i was busy hunting for more change in handbag. He kept saying 'change, change ' all this while and i did nt even understand his problem finally he tells me he cannot accept money until i keep it in his hand...And this attitude when they don t even hand your shopping bags to u . They dump all the stuff into carry bags which are in turn dumped into a basket. and u dont even know how many bags they ve packed. on one occassion i had to return after getting home bcoz they didnt hand out the second bag and i didnt knw i had to take 2.
          The second time another guy made me wait for 10 mins at the counter while he was talking to a shop staff who was leaving and billed her stuff ahead of me. when he was delaying me further i asked him will there be further delay atleast three times and he did not even acknowledge this and was back talking. finally i waved my hand in front of him and still he payed no heed. I moved to the next counter where again they were busy talking. and finally when i ran out of patience and yelled at them they tell me there s som prblm in the billing.
          People behind counters feel that they own the place and even if they dnt behave politely they should not be frankly rude. I beleive this is because of lack of supervision and a feelin that behaving badly to a couple of customers is gonna do them no harm.

          Empty Water Bottle is always not available in Anna nagar branch.i am a regular customer since 5 years.your vendors are saying "no bottle no bottle"...i am really frustated...please arrange water bottle for me..then only i ll refer more peoples to your branch.

            my card no. is [protected] .. i have the membership card since 2007... sir i purchase products of more than rs 4000 from your store monthly. i generally purchase from the store which is situated at 412-418 , surya nagar, gopalpura byepass, jaipur.
            i had purchase goods worth rs 1193 on 16th march 2010. from mansaravar outlet , at that time a gift scheme was running on the purchase of rs 1500. but your manager and other attendent did not tell us about this scheme , and also not displayed on the board. otherwise i will purchase goods of rs 300 more and can get the benefit of scheme.
            and on 4th april also i have purchased goods worth rs 2938. from surya nagar , gupalpura outlet. at this time your manager and attendent told me that ... come tomorrow and collect your gift because you have purchased goods of more than rs 1500.
            on dated 14 april 2010 i also purchase goods worth rs 218. . i asked your manager to give my previous gift item on purchase of rs 2938. but he told us .... mam sorry no scheme is running now....
            i therefore request to you that plz ask your manager that why he is giving false information to customers. take necessary action in this regard...

              Dear Sir,

              My spouse has buyed products from Your outlet at Khadakpada Branch Kalyan.

              Bills details area as follows:
              C1019 #0147 dated 9th April 2010 time 20.32.
              The amount is +2000 Rs.

              The goods are told to be delivered at our door steps within 24 hours.
              NSince then My spouce followed up to your outlet thrice and I myself has talked with the guys at outlet.

              Surprisingly till time there is no stores manager awailable at outlet to help.

              After sepnding hour i could locate my goods laying over thee unattended.

              The i talked with so called second in line incharge Mr. Jagdish Tare @ goods.

              Instead of helping me he said becouse of the in availability of staff he is unaware of the delivery time and given me the no of store manager Mr.Abhijeet PAtole ([protected]).

              Since then i am following up with him. He also told me that he can not help and I can escalate the problem to hire up but he didnt support with any of email ids or nos of higher up authorities.

              The the surprice the customer complaint book is also not awailable at the store,.
              The staff is advicing customers to fill their complaints in Security log Book.
              Since there is no one to talk i am unware to whom we should complaint about the rude, unhelping staff.

                This is to bring in your kind attention that about 2 years ago I got the previlage to work in your prestigious Reliance Fresh as MSR at Ashok vihar, Delhi-52 . Now some days ago in order to get my Providend Fund, I went to M-11, Cannought Place delhi, but from there i came to know that Reliance office has been shifted to some other location. I also visited Gopaldas building, connaught place but the guard did not let me enter the premises. I also visited my work place i.e. RELIANCE FRESH,ASHOK VIHAR,but the Manager AJIT LAMBA did not cooperate with me at all and misbehaved with me(being a worthless ex-employee) .Kindly let me know how and from where can I get my Providend Fund from a multi billion dollar company(Reliance industries ltd) .

                  Poor quality of item Chana (live insects & dirt inside the packet) and packing date and expiry date changed by putting new label with new packing date & expiry date. I complained to store manager and asked him remove that items from display shelf. After two days I checked and found that items where not removed and consumers are taking that again.

                    The RFS in civil lines ,Jabalpur is more badly manages than any Kirana Store in the country. Lack of interest in the customers stands out as the most important feature. Boys and girls dressed in dress code are least bother about the cleanliness, availability or any other requirement of the customers. Staff seems to busy talking to each other and the pay counters are prominent by absence of staff and complete leatrgy and apathy for customers. It appears that none of the employee has been trained in dealing with the most important person of the place : The customer. The other day when I had queed for paying the bill after collecting my purchase and spending half an hour was told to go to another counter whereas the other three were lying without any attendant. The workers chit chatting completely unbothered. God save RFS.

                    Name of Reliance fresh should be changed as in their Malviya Nagar Jaipur Store they are selling expired edible products. What they do is they remove the packing and sell loose gram, sugar, rice etc once the best before date is expired. Even they are used to temper the date on labels.

                    I made complaint in their complaint register many times but never ever received any response from them.

                      Today first time I visited Reliance Fresh Stare kamla Nagar but the experience was pathetic. The staff has zero courtesy and probabily do not bother the accountability of representing Reliance Brand who is considered to be best amongst the retail player in the country. Today they displayed discount of rs 15.- on tropicana juice on the total purchase of Rs 199/-. I purchased goods of Rs 522/- bill cpoay attached at the billing counter i apprised the salesman that you have forgot to deduct rs 15/- on the tropicana juice as displayed in the store but very rudely he replied that no such discount can be provided and further asked we whether he should continue with the billing. Seeing this attitude i decided to take photo clearly displaying the discount with last date of availing it be 22.04.10, these photos have been attached herwith............would like to know the response of the reliance management on this mispresetation to the customer at large....Mind it this is a criminal offence of defrauding the customer at large and surely will take necessary action in case of no statifactory reply this information is also send to the customer case and two email addresses i.e. [protected]@reliancefresh.info [protected]@reliancefresh.info

                      In the Reliance Fresh(New Sanganer Road, Jaipur) On the display the discount of Rs18/- on MRP of 138/-(Bornvita), I purchased 2 Nos (Bill no.C1014 #0155 dt 12.2.111), in the bill the MRP was Rs146/- when the fact Intimated to the person namely Suresh ([protected]) supposed to be in charge of the store, he misbehaved and corrected the same afterwards.I am very much embarrassed with this type of billing and moreover misbehaver of your employee.He should be sacked immediately to save your goodwill and keep generous staff to continue in the tough competition of the market.

                        respected sir,
                        this is regarding a problem which we the people residing here( ganesh nagar ) face since the opening of this outlet of reliance fresh. first of all, the shop has an air conditioning unit which does not work 24*7. the chillers kept here are under repair almost all the days resulting in the bad quality of diary products. THE SHOP IS DIRTY AND THERE IS NO PROPER DISPLAY OF THE ITEMS INSIDE. MOREOVER ITS LIKE A WHOLE SALE MARKET.. the shop manager and the staff behave soo cruely to the customers.. NO PROPER RESPONSE FROM THEM IF WE SAY ANY COMPLAINTS.... AS A CUSTOMER U VISIT THIS SHOP AND SEE WATS GOING ON HERE...

                          Sir,
                          I am shocked at the policy of sealing ladies bag while she is shopping at your store, in order to prevent shop lifting !!! I have been to many big stores in India and abroad, but have never come across such an insulting approach towards customer. I was exposed for the first time to this during my visit yesterday to ur store in phase 7 Mohali in which i am a regular visitor. Yesterday, one staff member walked to me and without my permission took my bag and sealed it in a big red bag alongwith my mobile in it. For a moment I was unable to judge what was going on, but later realized that it was to prevent shop-lifting. I felt so insulted that I called the manager and shouted at her and decided never to visit your store again. I was informed that it is company,s policy. I would say that there are better methods to check the shop lifting than this. Also the delays in ur counters are frustating. Me being a busy professional would like to buy all items under one roof, but am greatly dissappointed at ur services.

                            I am Rupali Agnani, w/o Mr Kamlesh Kumar Agnani, resident E-61 Shastri Nagar, Jaipur.
                            I purchased "FRENCH FRIES" (CRISP AND DELICIOUS) with card number [protected] FROM RELIENCE FRESH STORE PLOT NO A49A SHRISHYAM COMPLEX KAWATIA CIRCLE, SHASTRI NAGAR,On dated 21/03/10 and when i fried them, the french fries were smelling badly and due to that i vomited twice and now sufferring from throat infection.
                            when i went to replace the french fries packet on 24/03/10 on the reliance fresh dept. mentioned above, the Manager Hardev behaved very rudely with me and shouted on me in front of the other customers. they defamed me. Then again i purchased the packet of same product with the card no [protected] and the same problem aroused again. Now will my problem be solved by you or should i knock the door of consumer court. because this is a clear deficiency on your part.

                              The quality of some of the fruits (like Hill Bananas) available in the Reliance Fresh outlet at 20/4/1&2, North Usman Road, T.Nagar, Chennai-600017 is very poor. The bananas are always too ripe for consumption even for more than a day.
                              The tags for most of the items are most of the time missing, including the open rice displayed.
                              There is hardly any floor manager ever present for customer care. There are no Feedback Forms available either. In the absence of any link for Consumer Care in the official website of the Reliance Fresh Ltd., it is totally impossible to bring consumers'/customers' problems to the notice of the Management. The impression conveyed is clearly the the company is not at all bothered.

                                i am a regular visitor of Reliance Fresh, Sector 22, Chandigarh. i went there for shopping on Sat 13th March, 2010. i was in line for getting my bill. only one counter was working at that time. the girl at the counter named, Shalu Agnihotri, did not attend me, instead she got busy in billing of some1 else who was not present at the counter but they hav kept their bucket with a few (3-4) packets in it. when i interupted, she said tht the Lady has asked Shalu that she is coming in sometime and has gone for rest of her shopping in the store. the couple later on came with 3 more baskets full of groceries and so took abt 45 min. wen we interupted that y the line has not been mantained, they stated fighting wth us that we were presnt in the line, even wen they were not. the girl at the sounter was showing her favour for that couple dont know y? and did not accept my groceries on the counter. and later on said that u have insulted me in front of all the customers. instead she insulted me n my mother by misbehaving wth us and favouring that couple and they were laughing at us together. they were shouting at us that we should have not interfered in Shalu's work as she knows what to do.
                                is this the way Reliance Fresh works? if favouritism is to be done then y they ask ppl like us to come in lines for billing? are the lines only for ppl like me? and others are favoured that they can keep one basket in line and go for rest of their shopping and can return anytime ahead of any1 as THEIR BASKET IS PRESNT IN THE LINE BUT NOT THEM.

                                  At 09March 2010 I buyed some products from Reliance fresh store, Madhuban Road, Dayanand Block, and I gave my Oriental Bank Debit Card to Cashier to swap & pay against my bill (Ammount Rs. 787.10), He swaped first time but due to some problem he told me that he has to again swap my card, I gave him my card again. Second time he gave me slip to sign but money had been debited two time from my Account. So kinly look into the matter and please return my wrong debited ammount.

                                    ON TUESDAY(9.03.2010) I WENT TO SHOP IN RELIANCE FRESH MADURAI, KOCHADAI BRANCH. I GOT ALL THE ITEMS AND WENT FOR BILLING. THE CASHIER GUY WAS VERY UNFRIENDLY AND I GOT A BABY ITEM TOPS AND SHOTS(BUY 1 AND GET1) IN THE BILLING IT SAYS 60 AS WELL AS -60 AND THE OTHER ONE WAS 58 AS WELL AS -58. SO HE COULDNT BILL. HE DIDNT ASK ME ANYTHING INSTEAD HE THREW THE ITEMS AND CONTINUED HIS BILLING. HE HASNT GOT ANY COURTESY TO TELL ME. HE IS ALSO NOT INTERESTED SELLING I SUPPOSE. ALSO I PURCHASED DAHI. OFFER WAS 50%. I GOT IT AND CHECKED AT THE HOME. THE SHOCKING NEWS IS IT IS AN EXPIRY ITEM. ITS VERY UNETHICAL RELIANCE IN DEALING WITH THIS CHEAP TRICK.                                     Sir, I happened to be at your AMBATTUR, Chennai-53 (old no.225, new no.83, MTH Road, Venkatapuram, Ambattur-OT, Chennai- 600053 (TN[protected].
                                    I have purchased 33 items bill no. 0106 & 0104 dt 23.10.2010.
                                    Following are major short comings especially in Customer service –RATHER THERE IS NO SERVICE AT ALL. Starting from the Security guard- by not issuing tokens for our belongings, and intolerance level goes upto Supervisor level of one Ms .Sankari – who is just doing TIME PASS activities- not even helping the Customers in purchase or finding out an item –or atleast providing a Trolley, blocking path –basically she does not know anything about the RELIANCE FRESH & SERVICE. & She is very Arrogant with customers. More over No BASIC- courtesy, Culture, Behaviour, No help to customer, Misguiding customers –making them to wander here and There. wasting customers time and Patience, Irritating replies etc., etc.,
                                    Just opposite to your Reliance fresh there is one similar outlet named FARM BAZAAR- (A shop similar like yours) . Just go and see their Service & other areas mentioned above. Really classic (Quick service, coutesy, and help extended by the staff there.)
                                    Because of No service by people like the so called one Ms. Sankari & counter service you have to close down shop, else your competitors will make you to shut your shop, through their efficient service, behaviour, approach etc.,
                                    As we all remember The Great Legend Mr.Dirubhai Ambani -who built the Grand Great Empire of Reliance Group of Companies – but now the situation may destroy the Good name created / earned by The legend Mr.Dirubhai Ambhani & it will take a beat., in the days to come, if no corrective measures such as by removing such Useless staff else things will happen for a good Closure of your Outlets / Organisations.As you well aware that Some may take up to Consumer Protection Court, RTI, etc., Pl.Take care.                                       I have purchased montly grocery in Reliance fresh store of lajpat nagar IV (Dayanand Colony). I was buying from the store for the past 1 year this month (March 10) they refused to deliver the products citing a reason that the home delivery is only for cash purchases. My total bill was Rs.2100/- and the residence is just about 1KM from the store. finally I had to pay Thirty rupees to the Store Supervisor to get my purchases delivered at my home.

                                        Relaince Fresh,
                                        Store location - Sant Nagar, South Delhi, (Iskon temple road)
                                        Issue - In case you do not have the reliance fresh card, the store simply transfer those points on any other card which have it with them. Even if you object, they still transfer those points. This is data fudging as they use these points to show that their targets were met + also use the gifts by redeeming those points.

                                        The store employees behavior is very bad and highly impolite and unprofessional.
