    Reliance Fresh in Mira Road (East) sometime sells outdated food and brevarages in discounted rate, without informing customers that the food or breverage are outdated and also sometime "Best before" print of the product is tampered or somehow deleted from the pack.

    Reliance Fresh — Outdated product

    I am very much upset that company like relaince had to resort to such unprofessional means to get business. I use to regularly visited Reliance fresh at 17th Sector, Gurgaon. Recently picked up Kissan Jam from the shelf. It was written May 2008 due to my over looking did pick up. Now when I started using this found that it tastes not very fresh and tasting indifferent. Now when I visited Reliance Store yesterday and showed that product was so close to getting outdated was kept on the shelf.

    Surprisingly the reply was more disappointing than the product. I was told that the product has validity till end of the May month. I am surprised how can Relaince fresh assumes that the product was manufactured on 31st May, my submission was what if it was 1st May.

    The second discussion was that I should have noted the manufacturing batch and date. My question would be if I overlook the date does it absolves the store of the responsibilities of the keeping the outdated products on the shelf.

    Thirdly I am told that the product problem was to be brought to the notice of the company. Now I have been travelling, does the company expects to keep track of the all these. Further where is it mentioned in the bill that the product should have been brought to the notice of the company within 7 days.

    I believe that the company is trying to pass the buck, the issue has disappointed me very much and will do similar to others.

      Hello,

      Today morning (25/09/2010) I have gone to Reliance Fresh Store in Lokhandwala Complex, Kandivali(East) to purchase Vegetables. The experience Reliance Fresh staff has given me during the purchasing was well below the normal level. Their was no sign of ethics & level of standard which shows that store is managed by a giant corporate house. It was worst then a road side vendor, who will use all ways to make a money by any cost. Reliance Freash staff behaviour was, let a customer bleed as nothing will happen to Reliance, if one customer stops coming.

      My Cash Memo details are as follows:-

      1) C9089 at 11:25:24 dtd 25th Sept 2010

      A) Initially the Tag over patato was Rs 10 per Kg. In case some one byes 3 Kg a discount of Rs 3 & in case of 5 Kg discount of Rs 10. Based on that I purchased 3.196Kg of patato. However, at the time of billing the discount of Rs 3.00 was given on a base price of Rs 13.00. I along with various other customers complaint & pointed out to the price tag written. Immediately, Staff of Reliance Fresh replaced the price tag with new one inspite of objections. Also, they refused to take back the Patato by saying that billing has been done. I along with many customers has been forced to buy Patato at inflated price. Store Manager was also not not all co-operative & very rude in behaviour.

      B) Also, no change available in store (at any point of time as many customer in billing que shared this view). Any balance in paisa will never be returned even if demanded by the customer. Many customers visit the store daily. By this mean how much extra money Relaince Fresh is making.

      C)Neither in Reliance Fresh website nor in store any details available related to Cutomer Care. The only id available on Web site is [protected]@reliancefresh.info.

      Request to kindly take this to highest level please.

      Reliance Fresh — Taking extra money during billing

      I have been customer of Reliance fresh, Bopal, Ahmedabad. Every time I have to debate with billing person to not to take extra money. They usually take Rs. 0.50 extra whenever bill is in odd amount. e.g. Bill is Rs. 9.50, they will ask you Rs. 10. If asked for 50 paisa, they dont have justification for that extra money. They usually say that they dont have change. Reliance fresh does not have any policy to register such complaints.

      I request Reliance Fresh Authority to take note of this and also request Consumer forum to take appropriate action against this practice.

      Recently on 15jun around 8.45pm to 930pm--I was shoping at Relince Fresh Mira rd--buying my
      provision for the week--after I came to the counter--I gave corporation debet card---casher says
      tje card was declained--he swipe twice---later I gave an ICICI card -it got cleared--Rs 263.50--
      Next day I approached the person incharge that on 16 night my card has been swipe twicw
      on icici and corp debt--I am a looser of rs 263.50---On 17jun around 11am I aproached
      my corp bank--saying amount credit to relience fresh--- On same day 17 jun at 2pm I approached
      Mr Manoj of relience fresh- I told him that the money has been credit in yr acount relience fresh--
      He denied it--saying I got no amount recieved--After showing proof of mini statement and pass
      book of corp--saying its not credited--
      We hope you look into the mater at earliest---

      card was swiped twicw on corp debt card--which claimed declained--cleared later on--
      gave 2 card Icici card --amount rs 263.50---which was cleared soon time 9pm onwards--
      both card cleared--but says relience fresh mr manoj--I did not recieved the amount frm card--
      both statement showed mini statement and corp bank--denied saying not got amount--
      we r teribly disapointed with relience fresh staffer for their bad attitude--pls try and improve--
      we hope you take neccessary action against staff--lot of customers lose money in different
      wasy--saying no change--card debt twice saying declained--when money is ther in card--

      Reliance connection — taking of extra money

      sir, i had transferred my pre paid reliance mobile to post paid the actual charge is rs.250 which is taken as security money but reliance executive has taken rs 580. 330 is taken as migration charge but there is no any rule of migration as i had talked to customer care. i had complained to reiance costumer care but they also had not taken any action. The connection i had taken is the reliance mobile store SHOP NO -35SECTOR-GAMMA-E GREATER NOIDA GREATER NOIDA UP . I had taken connection last month. Plz tell what i should do.

      Reliance Fresh — change of money

      I am regular customer of Reliance Fresh store mostly Shagun, near Mithakhali,
      Ellisbridge, where staff in the store are very rough and
      non-co-operative. So many popular products are always absent in the
      store. Most stores of Reliance in Ahmedabad has always problem of
      tendering of change of money. They always not giving 0.50 ps, in
      exchange to most customers, say every customer. Think How many Rupees
      they are collecting by not giving change and not depositing to the
      stores even ?

      I and my family have been a regular customers of reliance fresh and this was the fifth time some one in the family was over charged.The first time it was my dad who noticed their mistake as they had billed the same product twice.The following week again the same mistake was repeated but this time it was my brother.Before leaving the store they caught the mistake. Initially I too thought it was just a mistake.But not after I was the victim.Though it was just a matter of 5 rupees we got it to the notice of the manager.But again last week when I and my friend went to RF we were charged for the ragi flour which we never bought and when we asked the staff at the counter, his body language showed that it was a deliberately.We were given the change of Rs 13/-. just think about how much money these people in a day by such activities..I would never ever go to RF and advice others also not to go there.Its not the matter of Rs 5, 10, or 13 but its about the unfair idea of earning money.

          i want to say that reliance fresh in rohtak, haryana in huda complex near shantmai is not performing their services well even not providing basic services . they just shirk work and do not provide vochers even at 80 points . n also only one cash counter works out of 4 cash counters.the main concern is that MANAGER of reliance fresh MR.YOGENDER SHARMA does not listen to comsumers n say that " i dont have time" so i want that strict action should be taken against them so that consumers are not having any sort of problems.

            why reliance people forcing me to buy minimum purchase of rs.10 then dont keep any product lesser than Rs 10in what sense these people are planning the worst and useless service is offered by their staff i dont know what value on this complaint but still
            I am C.D.Sani staying in trichy.We are one of the customer of Reliance Fresh limited, 12, Sharanya Complex, Mahalakshmi nagar, EVR Salai, K.K nagar, trichy.
            We have been observing that even in rush hours only one counter is open. although four counters are there and most of the time
            no workers are available for assistance.They are not customer friendly...

              I am a regular visitor of Reliance Fresh Store at Sayed Nangloi, Delhi - 110087

              I had purchase some items from your store on 22/08/2010 and give credit card to
              billing counter (Mr. Manoj).
              He had tried 1st time then system had given some error and he had also tried 2nd

              time and made it cancel but my account was debited with Rs. 1362.98.

              I talked to Mr. Manoj your executive he asked me that reliance fresh account was

              not credited after that I had to pay CASH against delievry.

              I asked to my bank (Standard Chartered), he asked me that merchant has claimed
              his transaction on 23/08/2010 and its claimed transaction ID is [protected]

              BANK of reliance has already claimed the amount Rs. 1362.98.

I bought 2 packets of "Peppy Tomato Discs" from Reliance Fresh,Kothamangalam,Ernakulam(Dist), Kerala on 02/09/2010.When I reached home I opened one the packets and given to the children.But it was a poor quality one and it was not dry also.Its manufacture date was 03/02/2010 and its expiry date written on the cover was "Best before 4 months from manufacture"..The children who consumed the product have got stomach problem.I hope you will take this matter seriously and I am waiting for a favorable reply.The purchase bill copy is attached herewith.My contact address is given below.

                  A manager level staff, named Mr. Sailesh, from the Reliance Fresh - Salunki bihar area, Pune, literally don't know how to behave with a regular and valuable customer.

                  The person do not have any humanity and no concern for his customers.

                  I have called Mr. Pancholi, the Area Manager of Pune region. He have assured me that he will look into the matter and will get back to me.

                  I don't know whether my complaint will be addressed to maintain the reputation of such big company who wants to extent its business in the Retail Sector, where customer satisfaction is extremely important to sustain in the long run.

                  My urge to the senior official of Reliance Industries is, please try to maintain customer satisfaction, otherwise your business will be highly affected. To do that, it is very important to have a control on your staff members, especially of the people at manager level.

                    The Staff member named Kiran in Reliance fresh store at Vijay cross roads in Ahmedabad was very rude and she refused to bill my grocery as it was time for her to go to lunch and she straight forward asked me to come in the evening as she was not intrested.it was hardly 12.00 in the noon and she refused to give me my stuff.It was insulting as I am a very loyal user of reliance stores and such incidents make me think to go to any reliance store now.Immediate action is expected with such employees of your company.
                    I am totally dissatisfied by the behaviour of Reliance Retail store manager Balasubramnyam (Employee id:[protected]. The manager doesn't have the courtesy to respect the customer. I haven't seen such an illiterate manager in my whole life and I am really shocked to see Reliance(Branch - Chennai, madavaakam kutroad) recruiting illiterate, abusive, irresponsible and urgent person. He straight away yells and about to hit the customer. He uses abusive language in front of all the other customers. this proves the kind of people Reliance retail recruits and promotes. I have been a regular customer with reliance retail for more than 5 years and I purchase groceries of Rs.5000 every month in reliance. For being a good customer I got tribally bad response Balasubramanyam (Employee id:[protected]. The recording of his abusive behaviour can be seen in the Reliance retail camera itself.
                    I have been monitoring this illiterate, abusive, irresponsible and urgent behaviour of the staffs in this reliance (Branch - Chennai, madavaakam kutroad) for the past 4 months and it is getting worse day by day. If the manager Balasubramanyam himself behaves in a very urgent manner, no wonder the other staffs will follow him. They don't keep any carry bags, or boxes at all. If they don't have they should have the courtesy to write it down in notice board. All the customers spend al lot of time to pick up their groceries and at last get frustrated when they hear an urgent response from the manager.( he says - If you want groceries you bring your own bags, otherwise you can go to other retails). There is another person who is responsible for checking the reliance card points and book vehicle insurance at the same store. He says who am I to ask his name and it is his wish to tell or not. I wonder why the reliance staffs don't give their names, are they so urgent not tell their names even? I know about 25 families have stopped going to the Reliance and moved to other retails.
                    I know my complaint won't work and it will be not treated as important because I have seen people raising the same complaints lots of time but Reliance retail hasn't done anything. The manager is so dam sure that no one from Reliance head office will ask about his urgent, that he claims to me that no customer can complaint about him and if anyone complaints no action will be taken against him.
                    I strongly recommend my friends, colleagues, neighbours, relatives and others not to encourage the Reliance retails business by purchasing their products. I have raised this complaint in consumer complaints, Mouthshut and other grievance websites.

                      The Reliance fresh store at MPM Street in Perambur, Chennai has the most useless and inobedient staff. There was an ad in TOI recently on MRP price sale on certain items. I visited the store to avail the offer but was cheated by this firm. This is most wors turnout to be........the staff were no mood to accept the fact what is clearly showing up on news paper ad. They say there were right and news paper was wrong !!! The TOI had manipulated and printed the prices wrongly to malign the company name !!!

                      What a fun way to fool a customer? The store manager is the most worst fellow who does not know difference between 1kg and above and 2 kg? Can you believe it? He says 1kg and above means 2kgs only and not 1kg !!!! What a shame? The store manager was even suggesting me lodge a complaint with Reliance customer care and laughing at me that nothing will happen. So, they were not afraid of their own management.

                      The Reliance Fresh people don't have guts to do a fair business. They are even afraid of publishing their toll free number. Our nation's bad luck is that this so called company is the larget company.

                      Be aware not to visit Reliance Fresh and avoid any type of contact. Drive away those store from your locality for better living. The are selling outdated products at cheaper rates without any shame to ruin people lives. So, take utmost care.

                        This is in connection with certain purchases made at Reliance Fresh Outlet at Charmwood Village, (Surajkund Rd)Faridabad.

                        On 18.08.10, I purchased vide cash memo no. C3231 # 0021certain items from the said Store including 3 pieces of Pears and 3 Bananas. The billing indicated the weight of 3 Pears as .866 Kg and weight of 3 bananas as .524 Kg. On noticing the obvious deviation in the weight and quantity purchased, I approached the billing clerk for clarification. On measuring on another machine, it was noticed that the weight of 3 Pears was .500 Kg and weight of 3 bananas as .404 Kg, resulting in price variation of Rs. 24/-. The new bill bearing no. C1361 #0049 was provided with correct details.

                        This was indeed shocking to see that consumers are being fooled by overcharging. On enquiry it came to notice that a similar incident had occurred last week at the Store and the manager incharge Mr. Vineet had taken the plea that the machine would have developed some fault. However, it appears no corrective measures were taken to rectify the fault and the poor consumers are paying excess amounts leading to incorrect profit to the store.

                        I request senior team to immediately look into the matter and apply corrective measures. Hoping for a favourable response.

                          I am a regular customer to reliance fresh since more than three years , have been procuring provisions from the branch at Amruthhalli main road., bytarayanapura., Bangalore

                          Reliance fresh had issued a card which can be used for accumulating points with every purchase and these points thus accumulated can be redeemed for future purchases.

                          In june third week ,When I tried to purchase goods against the accumulated bonus points I was shocked to know that my bonus points were encashed.

                          Since I had never encashed the bonus points, I fail to understand how somebody else could have encashed these points without my knowledge and my signature.

                          I had even requested the details as to when and where these points were claimed , the manager and computer operator informed that they can not trace the details.

                          And my regular followup with the manager with the Reliancefresh branch at Amruthhalli main road., bytarayanapura., Bangalore did not yield any positive result .

                          As I could not get satisfactory reply form the manager of the reliance fresh as above I had complained to their tollfree no on 23rd of June and Mr. Raj kumar who had attended the call and taken the details , assured me that “within seven working days” I will get a reply, and it is more than 45 days since my call , I am still awaiting for the same .

                          What I fail to understand is
                          How without presenting my card somebody else have encashed my bonus points?
                          Is there no system like verifying the name, address signature, before such encashment
                          is done?
                          No basic verification was done atall??

                          How come they are not in a position to provide me the details as to when and where this encashment was done?

                          I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the Reliance one mart in Vijayanagar. I have been to the shop very often, and shockingly, every time I have gone there, i have had problems with the billing. We can say once there can be a mistake ...but every time!! It shows how careless and mismanaged they are. This time, I thought I will talk to the manager, Mr Sachin Sawant- as I was told by the customer care, (Which may be false). He appears to be very confused himself! He does not know the difference between a cabbage and a cauliflower!! No wonder, the store is so messed up.I promise to never go to this shop again.

                            Sir, I Viosited the store at Kaladarshan Opp : Prerna Tirth Jain Derasara, Jodhpur today at 2000 hrs I purchased some grossary Items from the store after billing the counter boy unable to provide the plasctic Bag for the purchased Item. When I asked to give complaint book. He waited me for half an hr pretending to search out from counter after that he told that it is not available in the store.

                            More over, then after I approach to register points adding counter for the purchase made the boy said the same will be made by next time to day staff is not available.

                            Please provide sufficient stock of Plastic bag to carry on Bike. and arrange to sufficient staff to serve better to the public.

                              On 8th August 2010, some items along with grocery items were purchased from Reliance Fresh outlet, at Savitri Nagar, New Delhi vide invoice / cash memo no C1164 #0173 13:12:07 8AUG2010 (S02799 R003) for Rs. 2962.74.

                              Chunky Chat Masala printed MRP Rs. 35.00 was charged Rs. 37.00 which against the fair trade practices. It is horrifying the organization claiming to offer products below the printed MRP is indulging in such malpractices. Even 2kg of reliance sugar with Brooke Bond Red Label advertised in the local papers was denied on purchase. This amounts to gross case of cheating to attract customers with false offers. Though I have not checked the MRP & the amount paid on each and every item purchased, it shall not be astonishing to find many more such overcharging.

                              A strict vigil is prudent to ensure avoiding being dragged to consumer forums for such misrepresentations.

                              Reliance Fresh — Overcharging on products

                              ISir,

                              I stay at sector 15 at CBD-Belapur.Recently my wife brought 6 cartoons of nestle toned milk from a Reliance fresh store located at sec 15 CBD Belapur.There was a nestle company offer of rupees five discount clearly labelled on the pack.Inspite of this my wife was charged full mrp for the milk.When the discount was pointed out to the management,my wife was rudely told that it was not applicable to them and she will have to pay the full mrp or leave.I would like to know wether this is right,can they get away with this clear case of cheating,should a complaint not be lodged under the unfair trade practise act? I have saved the bill and the cartoon packs for evidence purpose.

                              This is regarding Reliance KAROL BAGH BRANCH overcharging for MAAZA 1.2 LT BOTTLES with INVOICE NUMBER- C5191, #0179, 11:46:15, 10AUG2012.

                              As per Newspaper (DELHI TIMES, TIMES OF INDIA), there is a discount scheme/OFFER going on from 10-19th AUG 2012.

                              As per newspaper advertisement, MRP of Maaza 1.2 L Bottle is Rs 55 and Reliance fresh offer is Rs 30.

                              But when I purchased it from KAROL BAGH branch (S02633), they charged me Rs 35 instead of Rs 30. I conveyed/clarified my concern with Store Manager Mr. Anant Negi and the billing person but they said that they are selling Maaza at Rs 35 only.

                              Then I called Customer Care number[protected] and got registered my complaint.

                              Also, there are many offer products which Karol Bagh branch is hiding from customers.

                              Kindly looking into it.

                                We were handed over 4 bags with which we left for home after showing the bill to the security guard. On reaching home we found that the toiletries like lifebuoy liquid soap, lux soap, surf excel bar, surf excel washing powder, dove shampoo,parachute cocoanut oil, shaving cream etc. was not to be found. On phoning the shop, they asked me to come to the shop. I reached the shop and gave them the bill. They did some checking of the bill with the articles in the shelf and came back and said the articles are not in the store.

                                The shop assistant claimed that a fifth bag containing the toiletries had been given to me which I denied. I asked them to look at the video footage which they said would require their Manager's permission and he stays in a different place. Anyway, I gave them my phone no. and thought I would lodge a complaint in the Company's webpage. Now I find there is no way a consumer can lodge a complaint in the company's webpage. I intend going back to the shop tomorrow to lodge a written complaint in their Complaint Book.

                                Now my advice to all is to avoid the Reliance Fresh store in Netaji Nagar, Kolkata which is run by a bunch of cheats and crooks. There is no system inthe company to affix rubber stamp on the cash memo with the no. of bags handed over to the customer (as is the practice in Big Bazar) which is checked by the Security at the Exit gate who tallies the bags carried by the customer with the no. of rubber stamps on the cash memo.

                                This is exploited by the staff and the security at the store to cheat the customers since the management is sleeping and is not bothered if the customers get cheated at their stores.

                                  at the Edapazhanji store of Reliance Fresh, there is a Store Manager - Shaiju

                                  He blocks the entrance to the store, and acts as if he has nothing to do with the business

                                  He does barely any supervision as is clear from the condition of the shop and the dangerous things that are lying on the floor on which people can trip over

                                  The whole place looks disorganised.

                                  No wonder, all the shopkeepers including the Ambanis want to control the business without keeping the customer in mind, and by keeping the more efficient, customer-oriented foreign companies away from our shores.

                                  Goodbye Ambani, and the Shaijus that he is feeding...I will not be coming to your store again ever

                                      I am a regular customer of your Reliance Fresh Outlet at Purasawalkam, Chennai. Oflate I am very much upset with the Store, as the above outlet which is situated in heart of the City, packs up daily well before 9 pm and customers are not entertained after that even though one of the door is open. Even in weekends the shop is closed @ 9.00 pm. Today I visited the shop @ 9.00 pm, and staff are busy in closing accounts and I was told that shop is about to shut and sale is closed. Repeated request allow me to shop was not listned by the shop Manager and the staff, as they showed no importance to the Customer.

                                      Request somebody in the Management to intervene and allow your outlet to be opened till 10 pm atleast in weekends. Expecting your favourable action on this.

                                        Today Evening I went to Reliance Fresh to buy some cosmetics material. I took Panteen hair Shampoo, Kishan Jam, Dove Bath soap, Pepsodent Tooth pest etc. When I received the bill, I found the price which they have charged to me more than what they tagged with product. I talked to stores in charges Mr. Sunil, he told that they are unable to update the reliance fresh store price and refund me Rs.5/- without any accounting records. I don’t know whether they give me at his own or company fund.

                                        But my veiw is, around 400 people visiting the Reliance Fresh store per day and no one checking the bill whether the price is as per tag price or not. There are more than Rs. 2500/- loss of general public per day.

                                        I encountered a very painful experience at one of Reliance Fresh outlets in Nagpur. I went to buy something from Maneesh Nagar Reliance Fresh were the lady standing before me was doing billing. She kept a mosquito repellent in her basket which was marked under half price category. The person involved in billing simply took that item from the basket saying it is no more under 50% discount category. The white discount label was still there and when asked for explanation, the Manager of this particular branch behaved like an . I am sorry to use this word for him. But, the attitude he showed during whole course o[censored]nhealthy consumer-Store manager conversation is the real matter for worry and the very reason to write you.
                                        What I feel is that the Store manager should have accepted the mistake done from their end and should have provided the item selected by customer. This was entirely the mistake of the person who kept the item under 50% discount category, The store manager who doesn’t have the ability to defend the mistake done by his staff and the customer who had no guts to ask for the selected item under the category she selected for.
                                        I came out of the shop with great pain.
                                        Being a very busy Businessman, it will be difficult for you to discuss this matter with the concerned employee. As a customer, I along with many standing that time at your outlet will never go to the particular branch. It will really not affect you in any manner. But, what you lost yesterday is the fame of your father, the Reliance Group and many customers who will definitely feel cheated while having shopping at any of the Reliance Fresh outlets.
