Very unprofessional way to handle complaints and for most of the product which have free products are sold and when customer ask for Free product which they are supposed to get with buying actual product is always out of stock. They will ask you again to come back to collect the free product. This is very annoying and also they talk very rudely.

Beware of Reliance Mart.. Big Bazaar have far better service.

    Shopping @ Reliance Mart - Beware of Overcharging - Bill price higher than M.R.P

    This Sunday, 16th June 2013 evening I went to Reliance Mart, TTMC Vijaynagar, Bangalore. I purchased 2 packets of Tropicana Juice (One Apple Flavor and One Guava Flavor) & few other things from the said Reliance store. The MRP was INR 85 and there was a discount of INR 20. There were good number of people shopping since it was a weekend and hence there was rush. After waiting for half hour in the queue, my turn for billing came.

    I was cautious at the billing counter since the billing discrepancies had happened to me at this store earlier. Even then after the billing when I started to double check the bill I found that one Tropicana was charged @ INR 85 and discount of INR 20 total amounting to INR 65, the other one was charged @ INR 99 and discount of INR 20 amounting to INR 79. There was overcharging of INR 14. Attached image of the carton and the bill.

    When I asked the Counter guy he refused to correct it saying he goes by bar code reading and I need to contact Customer Service Desk (CSD) for any changes. I approached the CSD and he takes his own time to accept this mistake and never even bothers to cut a sorry figure. His expression was something like Oh! You think you caught us! This is so common at this store and we are so used to this. Without any word he makes an entry into the system and gives me a credit note for INR 14. I wanted to meet the Store manager and lodge a formal complaint but I had my kid with me who was exhausted @ 9.30 PM by the time all this happened and I had to forcibly walk away without meeting the store manager. (Notice that CSD guy has penned a note saying that he has refunded INR 14 on the bill)

    But its really pity for some buyers who don't have time or energy to match the prices on their bill with the offered one's. For the same product that I bought if there systems are overcharging just imagine the amount of money that is looted.

    Local Shop — higher than MRP

    17th nov morning my mother bought a packet of termaric powder from a local shop. the shop keeper took 9 rs from my mother, though the mrp is written on the packet was 8 Rs. When my mother asked the shop keeper, why she took much, she said that she didn't see when she took. I think that was not a proper answer. the shop keeper cheated her customer. She had no good reason. And she didn't give any bill. So we 've no clue.
    I want to know if there any process to catch her with any incident or act.
    Because she'll cheat every customer if there is no warning. And the main thing is that the shop is not registered.

      This is the the wrong charging which was done in Reliance Mart which is in Bangalore Vijayanagar.
      Find the attachment of the bill in which they have charged 27 Rs for the Pril dish wash liquid for which the MRP is only 20 Rs
      This is not for the first time they have also sold the item which is our of date.

      Reliance Mart — Website related issue

      Dear Sir,

      this is not particularly a complaint rather than a suggestion. Most of the companys' site ( not only Reliance Mart.......) are not user friendly and I believe they are deliberately made so.
      When one try to register a complaint, there is no method to get the receipt or proof that they have registered a complaint to the company ( here Reliance Mart). It says we will revert. I

      Loopholes which company can exploit:

      1.If the complaint is serious they can even manipulate the timings,no-receipt etc.
      2.the procedure ( in other case not Reliance Mart/..here HSBC Bank) is very lengthy and sites do not work properly. I couldnot even register my cases citing so many errors in data. On the other hand it should be made very simple. Say if one has to register a complaint ,it should be as simple as this ( consumer forum site ) Guidelines can be made that complaint details on 1st round should be very simple,elaborate details should be made at 2nd round or so.

        Reliance mart which is located at shaikpet,which is the big branch in Hyderabad
        they keep all old stock products in an offer in a particular day,they will reduce the price according to the stock and cheat the people keeping all damaged,expired and old stock products

        for example I bought two jeans and one casual T-shirt on offer day,those three are damaged
        so the next day I went to reliance and they asked me to exchange,i did it,
        finally the billing person asked me to pay extra money,argument started like I have paid for that ,he says ie yesterdays offer today I have to pay and he himself mentioned that is an old stock so they kept in offer

        Really this is a very stupid thing,we feel reliance as a brand
        that is a stupid shopping mall I have ever seen

          Due to improper billing i was asked to meet the supervisor/manager. His name is Kumar j . This is in reliance mart , fun republic mall ,coimbatore . I was said that it was shoplifting and was asked to give my details and was harassed orally. And also physical. I would like reliance india team to take action against him. I was taken pictures and was faced humility . There was no mistake of mine. I have clean records all throughout.

              I along with my elder sister went to Reliance Mart, ITI road Aundh Parihar chowk. We tried few clothes and inner garments, But we didnt buy anything. While we were exiting, the buzzer startd beeping,We were unable to find out why they were beeping.Staff at the exit stopped us and called for security.We were surprised and shocked.My sister asked the guard to call lady staff to check me.But still i was confused why they stopped us, since we bought and took nothing from the store.Suddenly my sister realized that it might be the inner garment and asked me to check.I went and checked in trial room.To my surprise i found my original(own) one hanging there, by mistake i forgot to take mine and was wearing the new one.We accepted our mistake and explained them that we didnt have any intention of shoplifting.That was a very cheap thing to do.We also explained that we are the frequent customers and it was an unintentional mistake.Security called up Mr.Sudhir choudhary(278722 I.D).He said go for billing or fill the form.We said we wont pay and we want to talk to some higher official.After lots of insult and argument, he along with his staff took us to a unsafe, murky room with 2 men in it, who claimed to be managers.They threatened us of police complaints, shouting and raised hands also.When we asked for their I.D card they refused.We said we will go to consumer forum.He said you can go.I am not bothered. His name is Ajit[protected].He threw form on our face.We accepted our mistake all we were asking for is polite and considerate behavior.But they continued humiliating us.We said we will go for billing and then were taken out.After sometime they said that the object to be billed is missing and we can leave without billing.The drama lasted for 1 hour.The lower staff said plz dnt complaint and so called managers never apologized for hurling comments and insult upon us.We were deeply shocked and embarrassed by this behavior from the staff of Reliance Mart. Plz book the people who did wrong to us.Time of incident was around 1:30 pm,[protected].

                I, Mr Sandeep kumar had purchased items worth Rs1583.09 from reliance mart,M No 8-1-346/1,Shaikpet,Tolichowki,Hyderabad - 500008,AP on 09 Dec 12.While paying by ATM card(PNB) there was some error as told by cashier and hence the amount was paid by cash.However after sometime through sms alert it was intimated that above mentioned amount was also debited through ATM also.(vide VM-PNBSMS dt 09 dec 12).On contacting reliance authorities they asked me to register complaint and the same was done on 09 dec12,they told to reimburse the amount next day however the same has not been done till date(02 jan 13).Ihad even lodged second complaint in the month of december but no action has been taken till date.Request resolve issue at the earliest.

                  I bought Samsung Duos 7562 mobile phone from Relience mart located in Santa Cruze on 16 December-2012. We were told that we will get 16GB memory card free with handset. We just have to register on Samsung's site. But when we try to register on site we are being told that the IMEI number of mobile which we bought is not entitled with that offer.
                  we are really shattered. we never expected this from Relience that they will be so big cheater. They will make false promise to the customers.

                  I expect explanation from Relience and want my money back or the offer gift.

                    I purchased KENT RO Grand on 5th Nov 2012. The reliance mart representative says the technician will come on tuesday (next day) to fit the purifier. But he never came. After a strong follow up, he came on thursday and found the UV motor was leaking water. He said on friday he will come and replace the motor.
                    Till now no response from reliance mart. When I call their representatives, they are always on busy tone.

                      I bought a Crompton & Greaves Water Heater from Reliance Mart,Banerghatta Road,Bangalore on 1st of Sept. 2012. They said their technicial will come for installation within 48 hours. I called one Mr.Amit (Store Manager) the next day to remind this. He said it will be taken care of within 48 hours. After 2 working days, I got a call from a technician who said he would be coming within sometime. I was in the office and said him to come in the evening. He said he would come the next day. Next day i called him at 9AM, He said he was in a meeting. I tried calling him after sometime, and he wasnt picking my call. He then picked up and said that he would arrive now and i waited till 1PM for him. I called him in between and he wasnt picking my call !!! . The next day I called up Reliance Customer service for about 7-8 times regarding the same and all i could hear was : "Our Technicial would contact you in 30mins/20mins/10mins" !!! Now, I called up Mr.Amit again. This time he gave the number of another person from their Rescue Dept., Koushik/Thousif something like that was his name. When i called him, He said that he would send someone tonight itself. It was time and i called him. He gave me the number of the technician who would come. I called him up and he said he wont be coming today !!! and that he would come tomorrow morning 11AM !!! I said i have office and requested him to be early. Now he starts saying that he would require an additional fixing charge of Rs.400 for a 2k geyser !!! (I was told around 150-200). Now I am done with Reliance guys and is waiting for someone to turn up :(

                        surprisingly we face always so many problems with this company. Today i had opt for r-select atta 5 kg showing the price rs.115 but when going for bill payment it amounted rs.129. After cancelling the bill and opted for another ashirbad brand showing rs.129 and after going to counter for payment, the bill is of Rs.135. It is not the matter of some rupees it is a matter of prestige and staff behaviour. They always behave like the customer is needy. They are thinking that they are the the owner of reliance mart specially the floor manager Mr.Pankaj singh. See if you can do anything. Thanks

                          as i have done shopping at different stores of Reliance Trends and Reliance Mart oftenly but unfortunately there were not updation of points properly on my card. i didnt' redeemed my points until now.As it always shows the lesser points in that.

                          Since last 6months i have done many shopping but at Reliance Mart,but unfortunatley No satisfactory response at the Store neither from the sales staff nor from the customer service.

                          Please do the needful and give me the complete details of my shoppings with Point updations since beginning.

                            I am very very disappointed by your services. Every time there is billing issue.
                            I SEEMS THAT RELIANCE IS ALWAYS CHEATING TO THE CUSTOMERS.

                            Latest issue: I purchased a Mustered Oil on 29th Apr, whose price on the rack was Rs 105 and after billing it was billed for Rs 112 (which is a fraud).

                            This is not the first instance that I faced this kind of issues. This is the issue almost everytime I visit your store.
                            It seems the you are not aware of the management of a Retail Store.

                            Your manger MR. SRINIVAS is another issue.
                            He dont have any courtesy how to speak to customers. He dont even bother to look for customer issues. It seems that he was picked from some road side.
                            On that day when I asked him that you people must have got some training , then on this very rudely he says that " NO WE DIDNT GET ANY TRAINING AND JUST CAME LIKE THAT".
                            When I was asking him to come, he dont have that much courage to come and talk to me.

                            Mr. Ajit Panda (Emp ID[protected] is aware of all these issues. He was polite but it was of no use since there was no support for him from his GREAT MANAGER (MR. SRINIVAS).
                            Ajit promised a call back on 30th Apr after 8pm but again a wrong promise and failed to call me.
                            I dont understand that if you cant keep promises then why you people do that.

                            I'll definitely gona raise this complain in your head office and specially for your Manager.

                            ALLOVER, VERY PATHETIC AND POOR EXPERIENCE TILL NOW FROM RELIANCE MART...

                              I have purchased LG washing machine front load from Reliance mart, Aundh, Pune dated on 22/03/2012. The purchase on occasion of Gudi padwa festival.
                              On the festival day (23/03/12) at 6 pm I was in the store and asked for delivery they definitely you will get today. But Again I went in the store at 9.45 pm same day and they said not able to track where exactly is the product is.

                              As I got initial commitment for delivery of product on 23/03/2012. But due to some internal problem Reliance Mart, Aundh, Pune was not able to deliver.

                              Further to communication they said they updated me that we will convey message on Tuesday, 27/03/2012 when we will deliver the product. But store person never turned and called me up. Finally I landed up into the store and they said that we will communicate in 2 days when it is possible to deliver.

                              I got it written from store person for non delivery of product.

                              Its been 6 days from the purchase and I don't have product at my door. Already I have been to store 5 time after purchase. Its really painful experience with Reliance Mart, Aundh, Pune, MH store.
                              I am definitely looking for some strict action. This is really bad experience with the reliance.

                                    Purchased a L G Fridge from Reliance Mart-Bannerghtta Road Banglore on 15th Feb 2012 & got the confirmation from the Store that the Delivery will be done on 16th feb before 6 pm, 16th feb i didnt received any single call from the Mart & the phone no which is mentioned in the bill was not working, due to some official commitments was not able to visit the Reliance mart for the remaining couple of days but instructed my family if delivery happens collect the same / 3 days up & visitied the relaiance mart on suanday 19th feb the reply which i received from them was totally different ways/ first informed me that it is already deliverd & after verificiation of the details in the system it found that they didnt even raised the purchase order for the delivery & to my surprise & discussion happend with the mall manager / the final confirmation received that the delivery will happend before 7 pm on that day ( 19th feb) waitied till 7 & no calls received & enquired with the mall the reply received as they will not be able to deliver the same on that day & some wrong reply stating some stike happening that area..........

                                    As a customer they have wasted my 4 days after paying the amount & no delivery happend.....would suggest the public please do not give preference to relaiance mart B G road as the service is very poor........

                                      I Purchased LG fridge on 1st Jan 2012 and Reliance Mart people had given delivery date in written on 2nd Jan. On 2nd Jan they called me saying that we are coming to deliver fridge by 2.00 PM but till 5-6 PM nobody came I tried calling those people but nobody was responding to my calls. Then at night 1.00 AM again I received call saying , sir, we are near to your house, do you want delivery now? I said Ok, please bring ASAP. After waiting for half an hour or so I called him, he said, "sir, I am not able to find your house I will deliver it in the morning."
                                      Next day after continuously calling they send fridge after that I have to take followup for technician. Two days later they send technician and found fridge is faulty and it has to be replaced in next two days.
                                      Got my fridge replaced, this time reliance mart said you can open the box and can check it. But I refused to open it till the technician come. Now Technician came and he just open the fridge and plugged in the supply and left. I read manual, it was saying that 6-8 hrs requires for cooling process. So I kept it running for 12 - 15 hrs. but still no cooling process is started. I again called to reliance for the same. He said technician will come and check. But today[protected], no one is bother about my complaint. Me and my family is getting too frustrate with this behavior of reliance mart people. Please suggest what legal action I should take in order to resolve this issue.

                                        On 11/11/11 I purchased a Toaster from Reliance mart at Aundh Pune. Along with a small box of chewing gum. i was billed Rs.1222.00 which I paid for using my Credit card. However the POS machine mal- functioned or it was deliberately done I dont know, but no charge slip came out. This called for the supervisor to intervene and again the items were charged and a slip for Rs.1222.00 was issued to me. I signed the same and exit the shop. I was not aware the mobile alert by ICICI bank was sent to me twice on my mobile and I thought it was duplication and did not check the time of purchase. this meant I paid twice for a single purchase. I have been following up with reliance mart since 7th Dec.2011 but of no avail, i am repeatedly promised that the error will be rectified and I will get back the credit of one time of Rs.1222.00 but in vain. It is going to be 2 months and the Reliance behemoth refuses to entertain my complaint, also they keep telling me that there no need for written complaint!!! and everything will be sorted out over the phone, all bunkum. I think I should lodge a complaint with the Cyber crime cell of Pune Police and also file a consumer complaint and sue the Reliance people for Rs.10000.00 for mental torture.
