I was forced by Reliance Mart, Faridabad Service Carpenter to pay Rs. 300/- as service charges towards reallocation of a bed from one bedroom to another that was purchased from the Mart recently. On my resistance, I was threatened by the service staff in presence of my family (two kids aged 9 yrs. & 3 yrs. and my wife} who refused to leave my house unless paid. Sensing trouble, I agreed to pay but only after I received a due receipt which the service staff again refused to issue quoting company policy. I spoke to the customer desk of Reliance Mart who apologised for wrong committed by their service staff and promised that the erring staff will be removed from service immediately.I am now concerned about the safety of my family as the service staff left my house in a rage and warning me of dire consequences if I complained.

My self, RupeshChauhan, i puchased an dinning table ( 4+1), on 8.8.2010, when the carpenter came to assamble on 11/8/10, the chair was rusted, so i refuse to take chair, i talk to mart immediately they assurance me they exchang Chair, but now 16/8/10, till i dont got Chair & i talk to many times in mart they only gave promise but dont do any thing, can u assist me,
I also had a chance to buy grocery items from Reliance Mart, Faridabad on 9thy May 2011. One of the item was water melon which was weighed at 1.936 Kg @ Rs. 10/- per kg with atagging of Rs. 19.36. However the cash counter raised a bill at Rs. 12.00 per kg witha total rpice of Rs. 23.23. The question is not of Rs. 4/- being charged excess but the integrity of the application software becomes doubtful. The public is advised to check at the counter itself. While I am now taking up the case with the Reliance Mart as I have saved the tag pasted on the item as well as the bill raiesd. S.K.Virmani/ [protected].     I visited Reliance Mart at Ahmedabad on 2nd October to buy gifts for my cousins. Looking around, we found a lamex watch counter, where we found a good watch at reasonable rate tag. But no one was attending the counter. There was a digital camera’s counter nearby, where two guys were standing and having a chat. When we inquired about the product(watch), they said that the counter is closed. According, we approached the customer care counter and requested to help us and they replied that the counter was closed and there is no staff. The time was 21:50 hrs and official closing was at 22 hrs. Many of the other counters were still working and the staff was around. Though 10 mins was still left for closing, the counter salesperson had left for the day.

    As on 3rd october early morn, we were suppose to present the gift to our cousin, but due to lack of responsible persons at Reliance Mart at Ahmedabad, we could not purchase the lamex watch, we was to be gifted to them.

    In today’s competitive market, if this is the kind of response we get from the sales persons, we regret to say that we will never visit a Mart for any future purchases.

    The Reliance Group has invested a huge amount of money into these Mart Chains, but due to some irresponsible salespersons, they loose genuine and valuable buyers/customers.

      Dear sir/madam,

      This is darshan trivedi from jamnagar.

      Eight months back i had purchased a TV tuner card (pinnacle made) of Rs. 4500 from reliance mart jamnagar. While purchasing i was told that it had 4 yrs of warranty.

      Now after eight month i m having problem in that, i approached the reliance mart person for the same.

      They told me that, they r communicating with the pinnacle company people but they r not responding.

      It has been 20 days after registering my complain to the Reliance mart persons, but still there is no positive response from them.

      What should i do??

      Whome should i Blame??

      plz give me some guidance.

        we bought a Olivia sofa set from Ranchi's Reliance Mart.but d set has just been delivered n no responsibility has been shown in unpacking that bulky lot.our living room is a mess now...more over we tried asking d authorities to send the carpenter as was promised to us before sales.but d carpenter has his own excuses....god help..dnt kw when will such a reputed name will stop giving after sales like some cheap local company.
        Is any authority appointed ever to check the website to see how the number of complaints are flooding over.i dont see so.

        Hi All,
        I bought an Olivia Sofa set (zebra fabric) from Reliance mega mart Fatima Nagar Pune. But in a month after purchasing it the cushions lost their shape. I asked them to take this sofa back and refund me the amount. After regular complaints and follow up they said that they will repace the sofa set with the similar fresh piece instead of refunding me back. I said that again I will be facing the same problem. They assured me that if I face the same problem again, they will replace it will the other one of my choice or will adjust the amount in some other goods.

        After the replacement of the sofa with the similar fresh piece, I found the same problem in it in 45 days. I reported them and they took months for inspection. Today when I called him up, they said nothing can be done. they said that you have to continue with the same piece, neither replacement or fund adjustment can be done with it.

        I invested almost Rs 30, 000 and all in vain. Can any one suggest me to overcome this issue. i want my money back because now i can't rely on the quality of the sofa set. Please help me out.

          I have purchase goods from M/S Reliance Hypermart Ltd., Plot no.19-23, U&I Mall, City Centre, Sec.29, Gurgaon on dated 14.08.2009 against their bill no.C9284-#0003-14:27:15, S06060 R015.

          Two days after, I have checked the bill & found that one time purchase against Bar Code no.[protected] for Rs.119.00 less discount 23.80 & charged two times against same Bar Code.

          Secondaly one item was not purchaed but they have chraged against their Bar Code no.[protected] i.e Dashboard Tray. for Rs.159.00 less discount Rs.31.80.

          When i contacted that store but he refuse to pay the amount & they told that you have purchase these items. When i told that please show that item & they told that item is not avaiable in stock.

          Please sort out the problem & return the Rs.222.40 i.e excess charged by M/S Reliance Hypermart, Gurgaon. & take inquery this type of fault occur.

          I purchased Sony PSP play station on 12 October 2011& it had warranty for one year, I some how lost the bill & went there requested for duplicate bill but the person were so ignorant that they refused for the same.Now So there is no use of the warranty.
          If you can not keep the details of the item till its warranty why the hell u sell those products.
          I feel cheated & this is the pathetic place to purchase the product.

            I bought a computer chair from Reliance Mart Bangalore. I could hardly use it for 1 week, before which it broke down to two pieces...!! I paid Rs. 1900/- (Rs.1899/-) for the chair. First I had been to the Mart and made an enquiry. Then I went to a local vendor to know the price difference. But the Vendor was having one which is high-back with a cloth finish and it was a different design. The one I saw in the Reliance Mart was that of a leather finish. The Vendor was ready to give the chair for Rs.1500/- which I too felt quiet nominal. Still I trusted Reliance and thought that it would be of good quality. Afterall it was just a difference of Rs.399/-
            I bought it from Reliance Mart for Rs.1899/-
            Now it is two pieces. I am using it like a stool, without back rest. The two arm-rests are the only connection between the backrest and the seat. it is in somewhat a rectangular shape and it has screw holes on adjecent sides to attach one side to the seat and the other to the back rest. When I sat back, leaning towards the backrest, the armrest (Which is madeup of some lowest quality plastic) on one side simply broke when it has its one screw hole. I did not have a choice other than removing the backrest and use it as a stool.
            I lost my trust in Reliance...!!! How do you think I can recommend Reliance to someone?
            I made a big mistake by avoiding that local vendor (who was ready to give 6 months warrenty), and trusting this stupid firm. For such a huge company, Rs. 2000/- might not be a big amount. But during this period of recession, for a middle class earning member, it is a huge amount. The trust on Reliance is what which deceived me. I learnt my lesson.

              The shop charged us over and above the MRP price(For a soap cake MRP25; i was charged 30). Also there was an offer of Buy One Get one Free(for a Toilet Cleaner), surprisingly i was charged for both. These products are so common and sales so high .. imagine the effect of overpricing of Rs5 on each soap cake and of Rs 50 on each sale of toilet cleaner.
              Worst experience of Reliance mart for behaviour of Employees working in reliance mart Jamnagar even they will not guide to pick the material at point .

              There is no facility for customer for Baggage to drop in Car.

              Security arrangement for supervision of baggage at outside to be improved.

              Billing of MRP is more than written

              Comparitively small super market is responding well as comparision of Reliance Mart showing their Monopoly at Jamnagar.

                I had purchased a TV trolley from ur reliance mart Gurgaon and i was assured that the delivery will be done within 3 days. But i am very sorry to say that only one TV trolley was delivered and no one turned up for the assembly. I tried lots of time to contact the customer service[protected] there but no was there to help. They gave me no[protected] and try myself. I tried this no but this was again in vain. They gave a new no of Mr. SHAKIL AHMAD mob no [protected], but after hearing my name he cut the phone never bothered to pick up the call after repeated tries.
                i hav the same problem. I bought a dining table and one shoe rack. iw as promised that the delivery will happen the next day.
                On monday, the dining table was delivered. On tuesday, someone came to assemble the dining table. On wednesday, the shoe rack was delivered. On thursday, someone came to assemble hte shoe rack. Then they said that some parts (one leg) of the shoe rack is missing. so someone went to get it from teh reliance store which is 5mins away from my house. in 2 hours, the person did not come back. the other person could not assemble the rest of the shoe rack after 2 hours also. finally, i told them that i need to go, and they will have to come back on saturdayt to do it. So far, no one has come.

                why dont they tell u at the time of taking the order that u will have to spend 4 days away from teh office i[censored] want to buy anything from reliance. Then Mukesh Ambani's strategic team is wondering why their retail venture is going kaput. They shld visit their stores sometime.

                Another dept - i asked for RW DVDs. There was a single DVD pack there and i wanted the bulk pack. the person at the counter had no idea what RW DVD is. He directed me to "sir". "Sir" had no idea that they stocked RW DVDs, and that such aproduct existed. He directed me to RW CDs.

                It takes 15 mins to finish billing when u r the only one at the counter.

                The staff is untrained and unfriendly.

                Never go to reliance again.
                I had purchased a A/C from ur reliance mart Gurgaon on 14th Nov-2009 and i was assured that the delivery will be done within 3 days. A/C was delivered and they fixed but power had gone after fixing the AC, So they could not give the demo & check the AC working condition. So they decided and informed me we will come tomorrow for checking the AC working condition. But I am sorry to say that till today(13.04.2010) no one turned up for the demo/checking the working condition. I tried lots of time to contact the customer service[protected] there but no was there to help. So, I went to reliance mart on 10.04.2010 and I found that nobody logged my complaint till the time, immediately logged the compliant. They gave me the confirmation, service engineer will come on 12.04.2010 at 7.30 pm. Monday I reached my home very early and I was waiting for Service engineer but he couldn't. Again I called customer service and asked me to send the service engineer agains he given another appointment. this was again in vain. I never seen like this worest services.

                  I bought a Videocon TV (K29) from Reliance Mart Bangalore 4 months back along with few more home appliances. It was giving problem from the very first day. I was told by the manager that Reliance will be the single point contact for any service related issue and I don't need to follow it up with the manufacturer. Since then I am following it up for the TV issue and now its sitting dead at my place. Only thing that happened so far is I made 20+ calls to the following numbers with no visible result.

                  I am planning to take legal action against Reliance Mart at the earliest. Please avoid going to reliance mart for any purchase. These guys need a lesson for the cheating.

                  I bought a Shoes rack from Reliance Mart in Crown Interior Faridabad 2 days back . However the raw material has been delivered to me on the next day of purchase and they assured me that the carpenter will come to you for assembling the raw material of shoe rack next day after receiving the material. I wait for him and when he did not reached to me I makes 6-8 calls and I got the reply that he will be reaching in the evening till 6 PM and when he not reached I further make a call and got reply that in 30 min he will be reaching and as same when he did not reached I once again make call and got reply that he will not come today and also tomorrow because of Sunday .

                  They told me that he will come on Monday. I replied them that I am working person so it will not be possible during working days. Hence I finally got reply that we will let you know but I couldn't receive any reply after that.

                  I am really not satisfied with the type of service provided to me. It’s a worse experience I ever seen.

                    I bought Double bed from reliance mart Bangalore.The quality of the product is so bad that it is not even made up of wood it is made up of hardboard kind of material.
                    When we purchased that bed the delivery took 15 days to come and when it was delived the person who came for assembly was totally does'nt know how to do it after hit and trial he left it half by saying i could not do it and damaged it nicely as it was not wood so the holes could be seen on it. After regular follow up with Mr Rajeev some how we managed to get the person to assemble it. Whenever I use to cal him he would say that his system and process is like that only.
                    Now when we are shifting to new place firstly no one can open that complicated 21 or 22 pieces bed secondly again we are trying to coordinate with Mr Rajeev he is saying he could not help us as it is not in his store process and top of it he is also not picking the calls to answer.Lets see what we can do we dont have anyother option left to return back that bed which costed us 18000/- which we paid as rent for it.
                    My advice to all"Beaware of that place" coz the time, energy and money we have lost at that place should not be done by anyone else.

                    fabmall — rude behaviour of staff

                    i would like to bring to notice the rude behaviour and careless approach of fabmall staffs towards customers.The staff of HULIMAVU,BANGALORE fabmall have no respect for the customers.they argue and create a big fuss even for small matters when the customers do not provide change.i visit this fabmall regularly but the situation is getting worse day by day.argueing with customers,behaving rudely and non cooperation is regularly seen in the store.i urge the owners and respective authorities to look up into the matter and get the entire crew along with the store manager to be replaced immediately.

                    Reliancemart — Order not delivered/ do not want to return money

                    I have purchased three items at reliance mart and they were not able to deliver one of those items as they made billing on a demo product. therefore, i have asked to return the money. They accept that its their mistake. however, they are not willing to return the money. Instead, they ask me to come to the shop and take a credit note. when they made wrong billing, its their responsibility to return the money.
                    The service from Reliance mart is very bad. They just want to sale their products and never respond to complaints. I bought a bed from Reliance mart in Scrtor-29 Gurgaon. The quality of the bed is very bad and it was broken with in 4months of purchase. I launched a complaint but they never send a person to mend it. I have been following up them for last 3 months ...but no response. The who manages the furniture section is dumb about the complaints.
                    something similar has happened with me also. please this a heartfelt advice to all the indians that dont buy anything from reliance mart anywhere in the world.
                    i was purchased wine and bear from reliance mart bannergatta road . for billing i used my debit card they guy Mr. john swiped my visa card and told me it is declared final i went nearest atm fabmall i withdow money same time i cheked my mini statement it was showing the amount Rs.950/ is debited from my account to reliance hyper mart. it was happened on 31st october evening 7.00pm . today i went asked Mr. john is not available they said. i spoken one person Mr.Ravi . krishnappa . He is not able to solve my problem. i didnt any other resposible person there

                      Today I received a brochure issued by Reliance Mart, Shaipet Tolichowki branch, Hyderabad under Ghar Sajao Ghar Basao programmeand published several items with their market price, their offer price and gifts etc. There was one item F and D Home theatre with MRP Rs3492/- and their offer price as Rs.1990/- and under the item exhibited a woofer, 4 tower speakers and another small speaker. After confirming the availability of the item on phone with one Pradeep and the Manager on ph no.64629406 and 64629412m I sent my man Sanjay with money and my Reliance card no.[protected]. But Pradeep informed that tower speakers are not available and printed by mistake and only ordinary speakers are there and offered the item for the same price of Rs.1990/-Is it not cheating the consumer by publishing one item and offering another item? What action can be taken against them? Even if a reputed company like Reliance Mart cheats the public with such adds How the public can go about in selecting their choice?

                      Reliance MART & Usha Lexus Fp — No service provided

                      I had bought a Usha Lexus food processor from Reliance Mart Gurgaon and am into trouble due to unavailability of after sales service either from Reliance or from Usha.

                      The lid of the product was damaged on the very first day. Reliance team is forwarding me to complain to Usha and Usha team is saying only reliance will support. In short I have lost around Rs. 4000 odd amount and my precious time and effort towards this.

                      Reliance had convinced me that the product has 5 years of warranty at the time of purchase and now I have landed in trouble from the very first day.

                      Both Reliance and Usha is cheating customers.

                      So dear customers, PLEASE DO NOT FALL INTO THIS TRAP and never ever purchase a product from Reliance Mart gurgaon.

                      This is my second bad experience with Reliance Mart gurgaon, earlier I had purchased one Dining table with two layer glass top, which I found one morning, that the bottom layer became detached by itself (just after couple of days of purchase) and luckily due to the arrangement of the chairs nobody got injured. Even after complaining many times on this I did not get any support from Reliance.

                      most of the offers are neither displayed nor told to customers, it is the reliance staff are getting benefited, not the reliance customers.

                      all the 90% off offers are like that...just as I told all the stock was greedily piled up by reliance staff, and since they could not bill all of them one day they have to bring them out after the offer is over... so it is neither they buy the goods nor they allow other regular customers to buy them... this is the saddest part at this GREAT STORE...PL. LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND HELP THE GENUINE CUSTOMERS...

                      I often visit the Towlichoki Mart and every time I face parking problem. Their is no proper parking for such a big mall.Even the parking that is provided is uneven and not much efforts or money is put into the parking.
                      I think part of the profits can be used for the services of the customers .
                      Because of the Mart their is lots of traffic Jam in that particular area.
                      The basement parking should be provided to the customers instead of being used as a godowns.

                        Hi,

                        I had purchased a Videocon 29" TV from Reliance mart on 13th of Sept and they had delivered the TV on 15th Of set 2008. But on that day itself I had checked that the panel for buttons with the TV are not at all working and with the help of remote its working fine. After some two days reliance cutomer care people called me and I had raised a complaint for this.Up to this its Ok. TV is working fine except the problem with panel keys. After some two days technician from Videocon came and he told that there is software problem and he had taken out the mother board in the TV and told that there should be reinstallation of software for that and it will take one day min and 7 days max. I agrred for that after a long conversation and he took that with him. I am not sure why for the software installation it will take 7 days. And after that I had called Reliance people and the so called technician and I hadn't recieved proper response from Videocon technician especially.
                        I am not sure why the people are doing lilke this. If it is the case they should look for some alternatives.

                        I hope no body entertain these kind of activities.

                          I have purchased one iron from reliance mart jamnagar but after unpacking it found that its temperature knob is not rotated so i complain to mall manager mr.pande but inspite of giving good answer he behaves like gunda and denied to exchange

                          it has been 2 months i have purchased microwave from reliance mart, jamnagar.bt i have not received free kit with it.during purchase dey told tat v vil get kit in 7 days bt still didnt get..what am i suppose to do now?kindly reply

                            I bough a dining table from Reliance Mart in Bangalore. Today is the 6th day and after much struggle I am able to get the table delivered. To my shock and great disappointment I have just been told that there is another 'technical' person who has to come and assemble the goods. I had been told that I will get my table at my home within 48 hours!
                            When I call and speak to Mr. Rajeev at Reliance Mart, he matter of factly declares that it is not his problem and it is part of the 'process'. He goes on and says that even if I raise my voice no one will entertain me!
                            Well, I have just called the corporate office (and spoke to Mr. Srinivas at the Chairman's office) and let me see if that is true. Nevertheless, I would like to warn people from buying any expensive product from Reliance Mart. Even when I was shopping there, I met a guy who had been waiting for 4 hours!! because his bill was not getting generated due to some server problem.
                            I do not know if this complaint will go anywhere but one thing is certain. I am never going back to Reliance Mart again. It looked like a promising store but if I have to suffer like this, I may as well spend some more money and get it from a place which will at least deliver its goods the same day.
                            I am left with quite a bitter experience and really dismayed. Somewhere I had read that Reliance Mart was being compared to Walmart! Walmart is a great company and has set world standards in Retail. Reliance sucks. And guess what? They don't even have a consumer cell. How pathetic.
                            And as a parting note I would also like to add that I am pretty sure that what I experienced in Bangalore would be common in all other Marts mostly because truly speaking they have a poor process. Imagine not having an automated system but them struggling with their own Distribution Centre guys to get goods delivered. Can you beat that?
                            Sorry folks for taking a lot of your time but it hurts when you wait daily for your purchase to actually arrive, and that too from a company which talks so much about itself.
