I have to highlight a serious issue which has come up in my car where i am unable to get puc certificate as the emission is exceeding the limit authorized by government of india.
Puc guys has warned us to get it rectified else car will be seized due over emission of pollution.
Car was sent 3 times to mayapuri (New delhi) service center but after week of diagnose (Which they say, are going through) when we got puc check again it had same number on emission which is not acceptable by authorities.
Now, they have provided us with 3 months pollution certificate, and said we will get back to you soon.
My car is just 1 year old, with regular service by authorized service center and as per puc engineer the emission is high and it accelerates high as well. I would like someone to call me and take more details if needed.

Pfb the attached photograph of certificate, and rejection slip as well.

I want it to be rectified, or replacement for the same (If possible), as its being only 1 year of the purchase and 1st year pollution certificate is from company side.

i didn't receive any response from the service center, as they said they'll get back by Tuesday after discussing with the engineers, as this type of issue has come across the first time of their journey, thus it may be possible there is some manufacturer default which they are not able to rectify.

Kindly, look into the matter get back to me as soon as possible with some positive response .

Since I have not received any update on the above issue with my car, I have filed consumer complaint please find consumer complaint docket number:989399.

worst service experience with renault, after so many conversation with different modes, renault is not able to provide the solution even after discussing with their engineer(as they said our engineer will come and we'll discuss the problem occurring) but no response. and now m sure they will never get back, as they do not have any thing to say about the things going on.

    I bought a kwid rxt easy-r amt from divine renault, rama road, new delhi in march 2017.

    Within a span of 1 year and 37672 kms, my car started giving me minor problems since day one.

    During this time span and the 37672 kms, i have had my brake lights changed, my turn indicator knob (Next to the steering wheel), my a/c compressor etc.

    On 14th september, 2018, i paid the complete amount and got my "burnt clutch plate" replaced from these guys. The car was then metered at 37672 kms.

    On 23rd october, 2018, the clutch plate has started causing issues again - showing similar burnt clutch plate signs. This has happened in a matter of just 2 months! 2 clutch plates in 2 months!

    I am 100% advocating everyone i know not to buy anything from renault, ever! These guys just know how to play with words and charge huge amounts from the consumers who are really dependent on their vehicles.

    I need an explanation as to how this clutch plate problem is prevalent in renault cars and how my clutch plate seems to get burnt in twice in a matter of 44000 kms.

      Hi team,
      I purchased renault kwid on 18th october 2018. I did not use it for 2 days since i was on vacation. After coming back, i was trying to start the vehicle but nothing is happening. When car was delivered it ran for 85 kms dont know why. And now it is 93 kms. I just drove from showroom till home and stopped my vehicle. That's done. Nothings happening till now.

        I bought a renault captur from benchmark motors mumbai and it was delivered on 6 sep 2018. On the first day itself i highlighted technical issues in the car and an email was shared on the same day with the dealer.
        1. Brand new car was pulling to the left, significant pulling that results in changing lanes in a few metres
        2. Car steering was experiencing a terrible kickback even on straight tar roads.
        3. Music system has 3 major issues - fm frequency is terrible, sound is scratchy, and bluetooth doesn't connect properly and echo on calls is horrible
        After raising these issues renault is trying cheap tactics by offering to do wheel alignment and balancing. Why will a brand new car need wheel alignment and balancing? But i allowed that. Even after this the car continues to pull to the left significantly. Now they are still avoiding the resolution and trying silly resolution like change of tyres. It's 18 oct and i am still being given a runaround.

        I have been complaining constantly and no one at renault is looking at this seriously.

        Every time i send an email to renault i get a templatized response stating the query has been forwarded to concerned department. Nobody seems to be concerned in the first place.

        This car doesn't make me feel safe. It's not comforting me or my family. Mark my words, these are exactly what i am feeling. There is always a scare in my mind that the car is not stable, shaking and moving out of control.in a city where there is so much traffic if the car is not stable i would end up meeting with a major accident with the slightest relaxed approach while driving. I drive with my family and can't even speak a single word to the them freely without being worried about the car misbehaving. With the steering constantly turning the left i am needed to constantly hold the steering wheel firmly that it has resulted in spasms in my right forearm. I hope this is noted and you are not missing criticality of the matter.

        This car is substandard and needs to be replaced.

          Bought the duster automatic in december 2016, oberved shuddering at low speed after driving it for 6000 kms, the car has since then been to the service station at every over 6-8 times with the same problem and post service the the issue reoccurrs after approx 6000 km of running.

          Renault is refusing to acknowledge that there is a chronic problem in the car.

          Regretting buying this car and advise others be aware of this problem.

            recurring problem in scala

            I bought scala nojk2bc4462 in 2013 from jammu. The car has given me consistent problem with regard to brakes in terms of brake noise (As it is prevalent in trucks when they brake) from front tyres and inefficient brakes. The same was addressed no of times over the years but it surfaces again.
            Secondly since last one year there has been a problem with the ac. It stops functioning over long distance and then cooling almost diminishes....

            I gave my car for normal denting painting work, that was nothing to do with mechanical work. When i took it back my battery was showing dead on the very next day of repair. It was working perfectly earlier. All digital numbers except km was zeroed when i took my car from body shop. Hand break sign was continuously coming and it was showing malfunction issues when the hand break is not on. Again after 2 days i visited the service center to find out the reason, adviser checked the battery and declared it dead and suggested to got it replaced. Here my question is, my car was standing there for 4 days. No body informed me about the battery, why? How come suddenly it got dead? Now i have got my battery replace on just 16140 km and 1 year 6 months. Such a short battery life!!! I am shocked amaron gives 2+2 years of warranty then why renault is giving just 1 year of warranty? Is that mean renault uses very low grade battery which goes off within 16000 km/1.6 years. Should we stop trusting renault? I have got my services and other works done earlier and i was quite satisfied with it but this experience was horrible as i am single working lady and it is very difficult to and get the car checked again & again.               Dear Sir,

              Subject: Service Escalation & unresolved repair/ service issue – Renault service – Kalamessary. Kochi, Kerala. India RENAULT Duster - KL-42-K4998 / Engine/ Chassis No K9KR858D039854/MEEHSRCFNEB001840

              After greetings of the day…

              Reference to the above subject, I would like to escalate and bring to your attention, consideration and resolution on the below service and repair issue I have encountered with you Renault service dealer located in Kalamaserry, Kochi India.

              The above mentioned duster has been purchased on 25/03/2015 and serviced from day one at your service dealer. Since last month i.e. Sep first week the vehicle had a strange/ irregular/ tension like sound while starting the car. The vehicle was logged for service and maintenance on the 24/09/2018 under the service agent M. Abhishek ( ). Upon inspection by 3-4 technicians were unable to confirm the reason or the issue immediately. Later after a few days the agent informed that the issue is with the Fly Wheel of the Clutch and would cost approx. 40, 000 + INR to replace, he also informed that they have no facility to repair and replacement is the only option.

              The car is only 3yrs old with less than 50, 000 Kms driven. I fail to understand how a main unit of the car can be damaged or faulty in given the history of the car. I was further informed the issue is due to exposure to water, when the car was only exposed to normal rain and below wheel water even during the Kerala floods. It intrigues me, how the issue could arise be because of water, when many vehicles almost drowned in the floods did not face this issue.

              Upon my request for a solution the agent assured to find a solution and revert back after consulting with his seniors, as he himself feels it’s a rare or may be a manufacturing issue. However even after waiting for 10 days i.e till 04/10/2018, I did not receive any response from the agent or his seniors. I found total lack of customer service responsibility by the CRM Mr. Ajesh who did not even bother to return my call ( 4 times on 03/10/2018) back for assistance.

              Renault being an automobile company with quality and service history, this kind of experience came as a big surprise. I am regretfully disappointed by the service I have received from the dealer and not to mention the inconvenience caused to me during the 10days without a vehicle. A basic level of customer satisfaction responsiveness is expected from the manager considering customer history.

              I would like your office to investigate the issue and help me understand the below concerns with an immediate solution.

              1) Fly wheel is not a part that gets replaced or repaired under regular wear and tear, however they were quick to diagnose the issue and report that it needs to be replaced. Kindly request your explanation on the same.

              2) How can a damage in the engine be because of water exposure, considering the fact that this is a single owner driven car, less than 5yrs old with very less Kms driven.

              3) Isn’t Renault duster designed to withstand normal terrains and water since it’s a 4x4 SUV? Kindly be informed that the car was not exposed to any heavy flood or water even during the Kerala floods,

              4) Is there a possibility of manufacturing fault/ defect? if so why dint the dealer address the issue with the concerned expertise in your company.

              5) Non commitment of the staff and manager to find a satisfactory and customer centric solution for the problem even after holding the car for 10days.

              I humbly request your office to find assist me in finding a solution to the issue. Looking forward to a positive and favorable response at the earliest.

                We have called the customer more than 4 to 5 times... But they are not responding to our call. And also asking silky questions to us.
                We are facing lots of problems in our car
                The car is not giving pick up as per they should give. And also the petrol tank is not showing anything even we have filled up more than 500rs petrol...

                At the time of purchase you told there are 24 hours service.. And now customer care even not responding to us.
                Is it good service provided by renault?
                You are very good brand so we are registered complaint to you.

                My duster started giving power steering problem for the past few months. when turning right it gets stiff for few seconds and then it is normal. I see similar complaints from fellow duster owners.

                It has 36000 kms on it.
                When I took it for servicing, technician says it has power steering rack issue

                  I hv bought kwid rxt car from pardparganj outlet... I hv use this car only for local traveling only... Till now i hv run this car only 14000 km... And my car cluch plate not work completely from starting to buy... When i ask customer care about change free of cost due to same is under warranty than the team said it is chargeable...                       Dear team,

                      I am facing this problem with my renault duster from sometime. When used my car in traffic for long time, gear gets stuck in first gear and unable to shift to second at all. I dropped my vehicle in silkboard bangalore for rectification. They changed the clutch pedal and clutch cylinder with warranty. I had already informed them that pretty sure this issue is not bcz of clutch bcz the issue is only with one perticular gear. However they delivered my car back. When i drive the next time for a long traffic journey the great is again getting stuck. I dropped car back in the service station. Now i get a call back song they are unable to trace the issue when they trial drive it. I clearly stated that issue replicates only when driven in long traffic for a longer journey but they are not ready to listen saying it will never repeat. I see in this forum that the issue with free other vehicles were resolved after replacing gear synchronizer ring. I am not sure why can't they refer to other vehicle history and replace the required parts than trying out replacing unnecessary parts.
                      Please help me with getting this issue resolved permanently than trial outs.

                      Dear Team,

                      I was speaking to Renault service engineer regarding the status of my car. They had sent my issue to Renault warranty team but looks like warranty team has reverted again on clutch issue.
                      This is a known issue, if all the gears are in the same state then it can be suspected as clutch issue. Gear gets stuck with only first gear. It's understood that it is a gear synchronizer issue. I dont understand why it's again coming back to square one.
                      Request you to instruct the warranty team accordingly and move it further and quicker.

                      I think I did a mistake by choosing Renault. Nobody understands technically for any issues. Neither they provide warranty support. It's waste of money all together.

                        Hi team,

                        Myself jade j. Murzello has a renault kwid rxto (Mh-48 ac 7605) faced issue's with the car
                        *smoke coming out of the bonet
                        *fan not working.
                        It's just been 2 years for the car where only my dad drives (No one else drives) and i never expected this pathetic service for the car. I have my friends who were looking to buy renault, but i will never recommend renault to anyone.
                        Secondly i stay in vasai, and i went to the vasai renault service center where i came across an agent junaid khairaz where he told me in the morning that the fault in the car was a manufacturer default and as in warranty nothing i have to pay. Later evening i got a call stating that car is not under warranty and have to pay rs.1200/-
                        Well this complaint is not for the payment of rs.1200/- but it's for the inconsistency and i with my family has got hatered for renault

                          It’s almost 15 days the car is with renault duster service centre in srinagar as they are the only service provider for whole kashmir valley the next service centre for renault is in jammu.
                          They are like the dictator. They know customer has to come here coz their is no other option
                          The problem with my car was showing check engine sign, and emitting black smoke more than normal.
                          They called me around 5 times that my car is ready. But the problem was still there as they don’t bother to check the job sheet.
                          One technician is saying their is problem with wiring another one is saying we have to change the filters and so on. My car is still with them

                          Guys, my Kwid steering has become so hard to navigate nowadays. Went to service centre in Ambattur Chennai. But they just keep telling me to come next day and week. I keep complaining but the dealers have no clue how to fix it.

                            On 17th sep when i came back from my work place suddenly my renult rwid got stop and i cant move the car. When i checked i found the left arm got broken in running condition and at same time i called few company people to pick up the car and its was too late so i called a local carring van and submit my car at dibrugarh authorised dealer. As per the company process part breakage should come under warranty as didn't completed 2 years but dealer said it will get charged and showing estimate 20 k. From the date of purchasing kwid i am getting lots of problem like oil chamber leakage, battery issue etc for i need come to several time to the dealer with the issues. I am not at all satisfied with the product.

                              I have a renault 85 psi rxl deisel
                              Registration number py01 cj 6440

                              My car has been giving problems pertaining to coolant since long
                              I purchased the car in 2015
                              In mar 2018 when i had sent the car for 30000 km servicing i was told that water pump of my coolant assy is not functioning properly and it was changed which costed me around 9000 rs at renault service center jalandhar

                              On 22 sep 2018 without any thing happening coolant started to drip from my veh after i parked it at my office.
                              I immediately called the service station at jabalpur and took my veh for repair. There the service team could not find the fault
                              And first they cleaned the coolest system and made a trail run the entire coolant again dropped down
                              Then they tightened all parts of coolant assy made a trial run still the coolant dropped now they are saying that they will change the engine gasket and check.
                              My point is that in all this try and miss measure the person who is a sufferer is me

                              My vehicle is in showroom from last 5 days the fault is not yet found the service center is using try and hit method aren’t there technicians to check the fault does the engine seal goes off in 40000 km? If that be the case then i would never recommend anyone to buy renault duster.

                              No the complaint has not been resolved I had told this to your auth rep who called last week

                              Still no action has been taken my veh is there in showroom

                              The showroom is trying its best however no response from higher technicians and service centre is not able to find faults yet

                              This is a very unprofessional attitude

                              It seems that a faulty veh has been sold to me

                              Now the service centre is asking me wether I permit them to open my veh engine head as the your company technician want permission from me .

                              How would I know that what is the problem with vehicle

                              Do you selll vehicles to automobile Engr only ? Coz I have no idea of what has happened to my veh
                              Only thing is that every time it has been repaired in service centers and they are at fault if anything has happened to my vehicle
                              My Kwid car is giving a accelerator signal problem in the dashboard.
                              Is there any other solutions other than changing accelerator pedal?

                                My name is Mohamed Biju. I am from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. I own duster RXL PH2 (2016 mdl). Registration number is KL 22 H 9961.

                                My issue is, the gear often get stuck in first gear. This annoying and create difficulties in city driving or when taking car from signal. Needless to say, it is extremely dangerous when driving downhills. Last time issue happened when I was driving with my family having small kids.

                                The painful part is I got this issue after driving just 15000km but still Renault could not resolve the issue!! I have done 40K service recently and they changed master cylinder but within days I faced the issue again.
                                Now Renault is saying issue may get resolve if entire clutch set is replaced, but I have to pay for it!!

                                I wonder we paid ~11 lakhs for the car and the reputed car manufacturer cannot even root cause the issue? I know this issue is there in many cars, if Renault cannot solve this issue, why are they still selling the cars?

                                    This is second time happened to me so would like to share feedback here so that others shouldn't face the similar issue.

                                    Reno service center keep calling me for service &scheduled my car service for sunday.

                                    This is related to renault service center in sector -2 noida, this is consecutively second time happened to me, i have reached out to service center around 11 am, one lady asked me to fill one slip and after that i have been keep waiting for almost 40 minutes & keep watching how my slip is handover to other lady.. Second & third... Finally i start yelling whether you guys will attend me or not then they said aman ullah is not available, around 15 -20 minutes that guy came & said you will get your car tomorrow. While i was sitting i again get another call from sector -2 reno that my car service is due and they are waiting for me... :)

                                    Now mr. Amanullah did the inspection without asking if i am facing any issue and inform that i will get my car tomorrow as there are so many cars in queue today on sunday, i asked then why you guys gave me time for today & he start smiling...
                                    That guys keep smiling on me & teasing me to make me more angry... Finally i asked to leave & he said we will try to complete the service by today.

                                    Around 4:30 pm in evening, aman again called me & said i can pick my car, i asked whether center can give me car drop, he said he will inform me in next 10 minutes, after half an hour i again called aman & ask shall i come myself or you are going to drop my car, & he said i have to come & pick the car my self... Again careless nature of mr aman...

                                    After driving i found one major problem (There is noise coming on left side door) which i informed him & he mentioned on service slip as well is not resolved at all... I immediately called aman & he said he will fix this on next day & promised me that i don't need to do t he follow-up, now after two days netiher he called me or any service manager...

                                    When i m calling aman he is not picking up the phone, i escalated this to hi manager (Komal) & she also disconnect my call...

                                    It's pathetic service & experience, i would adivice people to keep distance from this service center & give their car service to other renault service center...

                                      I have renault duster ka41 z 5844 clocked around 90000 kms as of now, right from day one i am observing this issue but i thought it may initial issue but it still persist. As per the trailing mails i have seen this in many vehicle of renault, but why renault india not coming out with concrete solution to this issue. Right now i am using my vehicle in ahmedabad please let me know exactly what is the reason for this issue and countermeasure.
                                      Gear synchronising ring if we change will it be ok because some body tried it and they say its fine now.
                                      This is not the first issue i have observed this renault duster earlier i faced water entry into floor from ac pipe which is again faulty fitting from factory.
                                      Even that is a repeated issue but renault hide this from customer until we come up.
                                      Now this gear issue this is also a repeated issue for duster customers but again renault is silent. Why this attitude from renault is it customer satisfaction. Do you think now people will recommend your cars???
