I own a renault scala diesel car with plate number kl 05 af 8448. Recently the engine malfunction indicator light [mil] began to come on intermittently. I took the car to the authorized service center, m/s tvs & sons at adichira, kottayam, kerala. They diagnosed the problem as the fault of "turbo boost pressure sensor." they made me order the part, and changed it on[protected] per invoice no: servkyja19006102. And i was charged rs:3440/- inclusive of labour charges. But on the same day itself, on taking delivery, i found the same problem persisting - the light coming on intermittently as before. They admitted this and requested more time to check. Now they say the ecm itself is faulty and must be changed. See [[protected] invoice servkyja[protected]]. That the problem of mil coming on as before even after the change of the spare part is admitted by renault/tvs. The change of the spare part made no change or benefit. It was faulty diagnosis [experiment] and repair. I am entitled for the refund of rs.3440/- from tvs/renault. My complaints to them remains without response. The conduct of the service personal was also left much to be desired.in the second invoice a baseless comment has been added by the service assistant to shift the fault on the customer. I can prove the same if needed. Thank you.

[protected] I raise the following objections to the statements made by the TVS Service Head during the phone conference. [1] The invoice dated[protected] do not mention any ECM issue. It diagnosed and changed only the turbo boost sensor. The statement that I was told of the ECM issue at that time is false and not supported by their own records. [2] That the problem was not solved by the spare part change is clearly admitted by them/their records. [3] It was only on the "subsequent" inspection [ in invoice dated[protected]] the trouble is diagnosed as ECM issue. [4] After the warranty period services, I have serviced my vehicle elsewhere. That is my right. How can that excuse the incompetency in properly diagnosing the repair work TVS undertook? If giving the vehicle elsewhere was an issue; why did they accept my vehicle for repair? [5] All I am asking is the decency any "local" workshop will show, after having taken its customers money. [6] I am asking Renault to judge the issue by the "records" [ the two invoices TVS gave me] and not by their "after the fact" false explanations. Thank You.

I repeat, your service provider M/s TVS & Sons, Kottayam raised statements "unsupported" by their own documents to justify a fruitless repair on faulty diagnosis. They are false [lie] statements. I ask Renault to check their concerned invoices which will speak the truth for me. I regret to say that your response above appears vague and evasive. Thank you.

Regret to say that your responses are non-specific and evasive. You should check the invoices of M/s TVS and make a decision one way or the other. Then, there is some point in my "getting in touch" with the dealership. Am I not already "in touch" with you?

    Dear sir

    I purchased renault duster (Petrol variant) in july 2016 (Registration no dl-8c-an-6455) along with extended warranty trusting on renault’s global brand image. The car is regularly sent for service at your noida dealership.

    I believe that i have made biggest mistake of my life to trust on renault as following are the issues i have faced with the car in past 3 years (Almost):
    From the very beginning the car had some issues and used to give jerks & vibrations randomly during the driving. I reported this many a times to your service centre and even formally made a complaint to renault regarding the same. I used to get the most obvious and unprofessional reply that the problem is not occurring in front of service staff and thus nothing can be done. I even offered them to keep my car for 1-2 weeks and test drive it so that they can get to know actual problem, to which they said it is not possible. After lot of arguments dealership changed a part called throttle body and told me that issue will not repeat; but i believe that the problem has still not been fully rectified.
    I have even lost the count car has been sent to service centre due to technical snags; every time i am assured that the problem has been taken care of and will not repeat, but to my disappointment the problem reappears with few days and the cycle continues.
    I am bearing with these minor issues but from past 2-3 months the car is having a serious issue which can be a major security threat to us as well as others on the road. The car suddenly stop shifting gears however hard you may try to push the clutch or pull the gearstick. The problem occurs intermittently and some times gets over in few minutes but sometimes it just doesn’t get right and i have to leave car on the road for 3 times in past 2 months and come home back by a cab. I still thank god that the problem has not occurred during interstate travels.in this regard, i sent the car to your dealership in april 2019 and they again told that the problem is not occurring in front of them and they can’t do much about it. On my repeated request and persistent they kept the car for 2 days and changed some parts and assured me that they have thoroughly checked the problem and it will definitely not repeat in future. But to my disappointment, the problem reoccured today while i was driving toward mehrauli. The cars gear just refused to move and i somehow managed to drive it down to my home in 1st gear (As no gear changes were happening).

    I request people at renault to understand that this problem can turn into a mishap and can even be fatal to life of persons inside and outside the car. This is something not expected out of such a reputed company and on top of it such casual approach towards complaints is also not acceptable.

    I am writing this email after being really frustrated and with high hopes that someone sensible at renault might understand the gravity of the problem and will take a corrective action in this regard.
    I request you to either find the exact fault with the vehicle and rectify it or else give me a replacement vehicle; as i don’t find the car suitable enough to be driven on the roads.

    Looking forward for a prompt action not this matter otherwise i will be left with no other option then to lodge an official complaint against the dealership & renault in the consumers court.

      My car ac issue is ongoing since 7 months and until last month there was no action taken except filling ac gas. Last month service team said they have identified issue with high pressure ac hose and they replaced it. It was only 2 weeks after it was changed and now again there is a ac gas leak. Now they are saying issue with low pressure ac hose and they don't have the stock to replace it and i have to wait for few more days to get it replaced.
      The car is in the service center at least for 5 days a month since 7 months. Service team didn't take any necessary actions initially as they only filled the ac gas, after i started posting complaint on face book page they took action to replace the part last month. They are bluffing around like this since 7 months. I'm having a huge impact because of this as i can't use the car and every time i should drop the vehicle at service center and i have to fuel the car for there r&d and testing. Plus i have to manage my own transport. This is been consecutively happening since 7 months, you can check the service history or i can send you the bills if you want.

      Who is going to compensate for all the trouble i have gone through.

      Appreciate if you could look into this matter and help me.

        Hi team,

        I have been to dealership 2-3 times regarding fuel tank capacity of kwid car.
        When checked by computer it showed the tank fuel of 22 ltr and they said it's the update issue, after the update i went again to dealership for fuel check, it was 23 ltr.
        Car number is hr29 at 4068. They told me that tank capacity is 26 ltr and there is 2 ltr for air gap, so the net capacity is 24 ltr only.
        If that is the case why renault is claiming 28 ltr of tank capacity on paper. I understand the variance of 1 ltr but not getting it at 24.

        Please replace the fuel tank with 28 ltr capacity or i have to file a written complaint in consumer court for misleading information and product.

          I bought renault kwid on 20 feb 2019 and today on 19 april i still dont get the proper documents of warranty. I purchased 5 th year warranty by paying extra and now they are saying that sales guy didnt tell us about the extended warranty so we will not be able to provide you that, what about money, previously they took first emi as a cash and they give no reccept of that, i argued for that and after 2 months i somehow managed to take my money back, they are like running a scam in selling cars. Iam bit disappointed with this type of professionalism.

            My company has purchased duster for me on 6th april 2019. I have driven this vehicle for 450 kms and it is now 9 days old. Today morning (17th april 2019) i notice a crack in the front windshield without any reason. I am really disappointed with the quality of this product and renault dusters ability as an tough and rugged suv. I suspect and have doubt about the quality control process of duster manufacturing. The workmanship of duster is poor& quality control process is poor. I have raised a complaint in this regard with duster but still awaiting the answer from them. As a new customer to renault i am highly disappointed and i do not recommend this vehicle to anybody. Please dont buy renault duster, it a poor quality product

              I had bought a kwid in the month of march 2019 after a month i got to know that the amount is not paid to the insurance company.

              Here is the thing.

              I paid 100% to the dealer and the dealer was supposed to pay the amount to the insurance company.

              Since they had some policy changed so they took a chq from me and was supposed to credit the amount in my account and then they would debit the account.

              Unfortunately, the amount which i paid to dealer didn't get the credit and the insurance company deposited the chq and now the chq has been bounced because of insufficient fund.

              Now the dealer's is not responding to the messages and they have the courtesy to email me.

                It's more of grievances. I purchased KWID RXT in Nov, 2016, after hearing and seeing all the blabber thru advertising etc. Blabber, yes it is more than that. It's not even three years old and the car is towed to service centre for machine failure. Twice refused to start. No problem with the battery. It's circuit failure. Once on the middle of heavy traffic road, your special knob gear conked. Once your online mechanic came to my rescue, when the car refused to start, on old airport road, Bangalore. Just imagine the heavy traffic at 5 pm and KWID RXT block g up hundreds of car. Traffic cop helped me in pushing the car to a side. Your mechAnic came, saw and sorted out the problem and the vehicle started.Only one good comment and Rest only complaints. Best part is vehicle refused to start on Friday(11/04). Your mobile mechanic came and didn't know what the problem is...vehicle is being towed again today, that is after lot of persuation. Now who ever is in charge of complaints cell, a few answers to my genuine questions. No.1. Do you sell only faulty cars..? No.2. My hardearned money of Rs.5.50 lac s has gone down the dr...? No. 3. Do you appoint mechanics, who knows the job or on a trial error basis...? No.4. Do you sell comfort cars as you claim or make customers spend time chasing service people..?. No.5. When other manufacturer sell better cars with this mechanism( no names), what's wrong with Renault?
                This is only a sample and many more complaints to follow in series II. Unless you prove that you have a better car and better service people. Now...action? This is only a starter...before I take it further.
                My car number is KA50P 7182. Bangalore is the place i reside in and bought the car from Renault Motors, Yelahanka.

                  My car ka05ms1100 is giving continuous issue but unable to fix it. Initially hear was getting stuck in first gear which they changed the synchronizer.
                  Later steering had issue which they replaced it. They mentioned clutch is weak so i changed the clutch to new. After that clutch started giving sound which they identified as sleeve cylinder detached which they fixed. Now i again i get the same clutch sound and they are in the process of changing the clutch peddle. Not sure how i can trust my car anymore. My car is still under warranty and i don't want to spend few more lakhs to challenge it. Pls give me a proper solution to it or compensation so that i can be of peace of mind

                      Feeling bad to write such post to a french car maker like renault... I purchased renault duster diesel top end model amt rxs dci - 110ps car on 1st january 2019 from renault dealer sri sri sri renault, door no[protected], ground floor, aparna crest, road no 2, banjara hills, hyderabad - 500034, opposite kbr park. Phone:[protected] since day 1 the air conditioning is malfunctioning and after 30 km of driving the aircon gets switches off and becomes a non air conditioned car... I have reported the problem day 1 to the sales manager and to the supervisor mr. Sudhakar mobile : [protected]. I also sent it to the workshop for 3 days but nothing happenned and there is no change. Afte repeated calls they say there is software issue with the vehicle and will update the software and your ac will work fine. Its been over 3 months now and my newly purchased so called renault duster is still having the same problem. I dont understand how come a software can run the ac of a car. Renault france i would like to very precisely state here i bought this vehicle over the other competitors in market like ford eco sport and hyundai creta but to be very honest i am so much disheartened by such a awful response of this so called relaunched vehicle.. I want to bring this issue to the notice of mr. Carlos ghosn chairman - renault-nissan alliance, french motors renault services, renault that they are delivering a pathetic car in india. Sir i want a resolution and that to one time solution by replacing the vehicle with the new ok tested in all terms vehicle or total refund with the compensation on my mental harassment of this faulty/defective renault duster immediatly.                         I have recently purchased renault captur from benchmark motor on 25 th march and as soon as i received the car the registration number of car was scribbled and car wasnt deliverd me from chennai plant as told and discussed.

                        I personally had warn them not to sell me the display car instead of this the benchmark team from pheonix kurla has cheated amd frauded me saying the car is delivered from chennai plant and as i got the rc book it was confirmed that the car is same which was on display.

                        I request you to please look into the matter asap and close the issue or i have to go to consumer court and file a fraud / cheating case against the whole renault team.

                          Hi, I own a Kwid TN37DA 1486 and fixed an appointment to pickup my car for service on 5th April morning. I made the booking 2 days before and asked to deliver the car on the same day.

                          They picked up the car only by 11 o clock and then no information from the service auditors till I call them in the evening. Till then they had not fixed a service supervisor for my car and they assured to deliver my car on 6th April. Then no news... Evening they are saying they cannot complete the work and deliver the car on Monday ie, 8th April.

                          On 8th around 11 o clock the suprvisor informed me that all the works are complete and ready for delivery. but after that I keep trying the persons and no body attend and if attend, they adviced, they will check and call me back. and finally they didn't delivered / dropped my car today on 8th. The car which was ready for delivery by 11 o clock morning is not delivered till 8 pm. They dont even bother to inform me their inability to deliver or ask me to come and pickup or any thing.

                          They are saying mere reasons for the delay in service and delivery... they dont have technicians, they dont have supervisors, they dont have auditors, they dont have drivers, etc...

                          Realy shame on renault for such a worse customer service ...

                            During driving in jam the clutch pedal becomes un operational ( almost touches the floor) therefore the gear cannot be changed . however after some time of cooling it becomes ok. kindly give an solution .
                            We have been facing this problem since the vehicle was delivered by your then dealer New Alipore dulichand they at that point of time told us that as the vehicle is new there might be some thing but during normal running it would become ok. after which the problem reduced also so we taught it ok . Now off late this has become an daily practice, and often the vehicle gets stuck in middle of road.
                            I would request you to kindly give an solution as when this is happening.

                              I purchased a new car (Captur).

                              I visited @ pheinox mall (Kurla) mumbai-70.

                              I got the car delivered on 25th march/2019, i had a word with nikhil at the time of taking car that the car which i am receiving is the one which was on display and the chasis number and engeine number were scribelled while given the car. Nikhil an excecutive of renault (Benchmarks) had told me that the car has been washed and clean so the chasis number and engine sticker which shows the detail of car are not mentioned on the window of car.

                              I had a doubt i am getting cheated by excecutive of renaults but somehow they manage to convinced me and give the car stating its a new car from chennai plant delivered to me.

                              But as soon as i receive the rc book of car i realized the car which was on display i had a photo of chasis and engiene number with me in my phone. I cross checked the rc book and the display car chasis and engiene number were same.

                              I have been cheated and frauded by the dealers of renault cars.

                              I request you to kindly connect me asap to resolve the issue.

                                My kwid accelerator pedal stays is in a pressed state. The rpm only drops when the pedal is manually bulled back up.

                                Checked online a and seema there has been an unofficial factory recall and sensor and remaping the ecm solves this issue, but the only service center close to me is in gangtok 60kms away. Hope renault takes care of its customers.
                                The way this known issue has not been addressed voluntarily by renault is not giving them an honorable reputation like toyota, volkswagen and other companies who admit when mistakes are made and try to do the right thing.

                                  The ex-showroom price quoted on Renault website and customer care is 4.45 lakh for for KWID AMT but as per the dealer it is 4.62 lakh. I raised this compliant with the customer care (have audio proof on phone conversation). I have already paid advance 1 Lakh hence had no option to drop the purchase but to complain it.

                                  The sales guy ensured me that the invoice will have the 4.62 L as exshowroom price and it is a technical fault on website or customer care and tricked me to sign that I have no issues with showroom dealers and can fight with Renault for clarification. May be based on this letter they closed my compliant and despite of multiple follow ups and my warnings (that i will on consumer court/forum) over feedback calls from renault, no action was taken to resolve my concern. I have proof for this as well.

                                  The dealer gave me a invoice initially which shows ex-showroom price as 4.45 and I was shocked. When I asked, they gave me another invoice with 4.62 Lakh (seems forged) and a complex explanation. Since I was super busy with my work, I just left them with a warning and waited for customer care to resolve the concern but all in vain.

                                  Now this is a prestige issue for me to prove that a brand cant make me fool. I feel cheated and more over the way they ignored me is really frustrating.

                                  I am willing to detail my concern if required. I have copied all the escalation managers (Arjun Dharan, Binu Ravikpillai ) in my complaint and repeatedly said my complaint is not closed but both of them didn't mind of replying or even enquiring the concern.

                                  Am Also copying this concern to consumer court now. All invoice copies, Audio conversation and email communications can be produced if required to prove my stand or concern.

                                    My self Dharma Reddy having Renault duster car with no: TS 07 EN 0620. I have given my car for repair on 16th of March to Autologic motors India pvt.ltd who is authorized dealer in hyd. I have received the showroom confirmation stating that the same day my car will be ready. But it's not happened.when i was called to service adviser he said it will takes another one day time.

                                    The next day also I have keep on calling to service adviser and on service appointment mobile numbers but no proper response from them. End of the day my vehicle has delivered to me with out any repair. even a single complaint was not attended and Still persisting with same problems.

                                    I have been paid my repair cost for no works done.

                                    Again i have given my car for repair for second time on last Friday i.e 29th March till date they are not delivered my vehicle back. And how many time i am calling them they are just giving lethargic answers like it will take other 06 working days for repair.

                                    This is the worst experience with the service provider form Renault for first time. this kind of attitude will hamper Renault goodwill in the market.

                                    Hope some one can reply in this mail on priority and resolve this issue soon.

                                      I bought Renault kwid in March 2018 from Alamcode Renault Showroom.Since that time I am facing so many issue regarding the vehicle.I am totally disappointed with your poor bad service.Today 28.3.2018 my break pad and rotor were torn at 18000 kms and I can't even drive the vehicle.My vehicle is under warranty.Eventhough the service assistant says that it will cost around 5000 rs.There are many other unnecessary noise are coming from the vehicle.I can't pay much amount for repairing.I wish you could take adequate measures for solving these problems.Otherwise I will file a complaint to consumer court.

                                        We have purchased the car in the month of november, 2018 and car driven around 4000km, we have given the car for service due to rat bite at renault mysore road, they have damaged the grill and bumper and there is a issue in the accelerator.
                                        The same has been informed and agreed to replace. They have replaced with old car first, again new grill not adjusted properly and bumper and accelerator problem is remaining same. The same is repeated 5 times, still the issue is not resolved.

                                        There is no proper service, there is no customer concern.

                                        Renault is harrassing me since 2months, my car is in the service centre almost 2 months.

                                        There is no capability to renault for service.
