We've approached a different dealer earlier and paid booking amount, loan also got approved with the details of the earlier dealer. However, we've shifted to Arka Renault, Begumpet, Hyderabad as they've promised us to get the delivery of the vehicle soon. We did this because we've sold our old car and were waiting for the new one for almost a month. They've even forced us to buy insurance through them, which was double the amount than the quote we've got from another provider. Delivery was delayed by 4 days and when the delivery date arrived, they've just kept us waiting until the late evening without any proper communication and they didn't send the insurance copy to our banker at the earliest just to further delay the process. We've also exclusively asked them to speed up the process and when the delivery finally happened today (28/04), they didn't have enough petrol filled in the vehicle to travel 4 kms. This behavior of them have ruined the car delivery experience and also caused trauma to us. So, can you please help us get a complaint registered against them?.

    Renault service delay /parts unavailability

    My kwid vehicle met with accident on 31Mar22 in outskirts of chennai, causing damages to the rear side of the vehicle, but it was drivable and i dropped the vehicle in the OMR reynault service on the same day evening. Insurance was with ICICI lombard and was renewed and valid on date. Surveyor initially delayed and finally approved.

      Hello Team
      I am facing problem with my Duster (WB42AK4638) While Shifting from 1st to second especially on heavy traffic, I have informed it at the RENAULT KOLKATA CENTRAL SERVICE CENTRE nearest to my residence.

      Problem first started on 3rd March 2022 at MAA FLYOVER at Kolkata where I was fighting with gear change during heavy traffic. Suddenly, I felt that gear change had become difficult. I called Sri Arup Das, one service person at Kolkata Central Service Centre. He advised me to side the car and stop it and push the clutch paddle for some time. I stopped the car and did it. After some time it worked and gear changing was smooth.

      Again I felt the same problem on 11th March 2022. In this time, nothing could be done and I rang up at the Kolkata Central service centre on the same day and asked them to help me in picking up the vehicle from my residence. I was lucky that problem started near my residence.

      On 12th March they picked up and kept the car for 3 days and found that no problem was there in gear change. On 15th March late hours, they informed me to have a test drive with their expert. On 16th March 2022 I was with the expert in test drive and found that gear change was smooth. I took delivery of my vehicle on 21st March 2022 after completing some denting work there at Renault Kolkata Service Centre.

      From then, my car had no problem with gear change.

      Today, i.e. on 13th April 2022 evening again same problem started with gear shifting. Shifting of gears has become impossible. It has become hard and tight and requires lot of energy to shift from 1st to 2nd to 3rd or vice versa. Even reverse gear also became hard. I have observed that when ignition is made off, gear change is smooth. When ignition is on, gear change is difficult. I don't know the logic behind it. I want final solution in this regard.

      Day after tomorrow, I have a programme where my car will run for 330 Kms. I shall have to stay there for 4 days and then come back with this car.

      Tomorrow, I am taking the car to Renault Kolkata Central Service Centre, Mahemantala, PS-Maheshtala, Kolkata, WB.

      Please advise them to resolve my car's gear problem.

      It is urgent.

        Dear Sir,
        We had handed over the Koleos Car Regn.No.TN20CN901 for checking the problems in the car for which they have told to pay Rs. 1200/- including GST. While handing over the car there was no broken of handle of controlling the left and right side mirror. The car taken over by the service centre person of Renault Kattuppakkam Branch with good condition of the same. Our driver went for making payment and taking over the car from service centre. He noticed that the said part i.e. handle of controlling left and right side mirror found to be broken and asked the service centre personnel why the handle is in broken condition. At the time of handing over the car by us to your service centre person, the same was not broken. Now you are handing over the car with the broken condition of handle of controlling the left and right side mirror. To escape from their fault, they are telling that the car was received in the said condition. There is no mention in the slip at the time of taking over the car by the Driver. The service centre team is trying to put the blame on us. Hence, you are asked to take necessary action against them and replace the broken parts immediately

          This is with regards to the recent service done on my Renault Captur MH02xx24xx.

          I serviced my vehicle on 5th March 2022, at Suraksha Compound, Kajupada, Ghodbunder Road, Village Chene, , Thane.
          I was billed an amount of Rs.18753/-.

          Unfortunately, just a week post receiving the vehicle the AC stopped cooling the way it should. It was just out of luck that I got stuck in traffic and realised the AC wasn’t cooling. This was the first time I used the vehicle post service.

          I got an appointment booked and took the vehicle to the same service center on 30th March 2022.
          I followed up the next day with the SA and got a shocking estimate of another Rs.18000/- plus labor.

          The following day I went to the service center and met up with Mr. Rajesh (workshop manager) and Mr. Mahadik (General Manager).
          I even spoke to the CR manager Srija.

          The only cold “canned” response I have been getting is that these are mechanical and technical issues that can happen anytime.

          My concern here is that if I am giving the vehicle for service I expect all issues to be diagnosed, reported and taken care of.
          However, all these people I spoke to seem to be of a different opinion and did not understand my concern.
          Moreover, they mentioned that I need to figure out the issues and inform them about it. If this is the case, why does Renault run a service center and charge exorbitant rates for a service? Is the customer supposed to diagnose and report issues?
          By the way this ain’t the first time, sadly I had to bring to notice of the service center another issue last time too.

          Moreover, I have to wait for 7-10 days as the spares are not in stock !!!

              I have booked Renault kwid vehicle at ARKA Renault showroom by paying booking amount . And waited for more than a month.
              Yesterday sales person sent one more quotation saying that the car booked by me is allocated to someone else who is ready to pay immediately and I need to book car again. I wanted to escalate this issue. Sales person Satya from ARKA Begumpet was given all wrong promises. Now I don't any clue what to do except proceeding legally.

              This is initial intimation to you before proceeding further legally in this.
              might use this email as a legal evidence for futher processing.

              Surprisingly these guys are not providing any refund as well till date.

                My father was driving a Maruti ertiga from past 10years with no problems at all. His age is 74years and considering the age, I thought to switch him to a new vehicle so that he would never face any sudden breakdown on road. He is more vulnerable to panic problems due to high age.

                Last June(2021), I had gifted him Renault Kiger RXZ AMT purchased from Benchmark Motors Mohali. AMT particularly for his comfort as manual is bit hard. The vehicle is in 8th month of its purchase and already started giving major troubles. 4 times vehicle completely broke inbetween the road which has caused seriously trouble to my father. Nevertheless, he somehow took the vehicle to nearest Renault service center in Jagadhri/yamunanagar. In the first instance, engineer could not identify the problem and he sent him back stating someone from Karnal would come to diagnose the problem. Then the engineer came, we again went there and they upgraded the software and very confidently they released the vehicle stating it was a software fault and the problem won't reappear again. On the contrary, vehicle broke again the very next day specifically on 28th Mar'22 and till that time vehicle is with them for diagnosis and till now no resolution.

                Considering the incapabilities of your team to fix the issue, I would immediate ask for vehicle replacement. I don't want any repair on our new vehicle which may be temporary and can cause further problems. Also, it is not possible for us to manage without vehicle as my father is a doctor and he needs to visit his clinic on daily basis.

                  I wanted to share this bad experience of KUN Renault dealer Kattupakkam chennai and Renault manufacture. Made booking of Kiger CVT RXZ Single tone on 5th March and Sales consultant assured 100% that car would be delivered in 3 weeks time by 25th March.

                  On 22nd March i enquired on status of deliver of car, Sales team said that car wont be available because Renault didn't manufacture a single CVT unit from Feb 2022.

                  Now they are claiming that there would be price increase from 1st April 2022 for all variants. They are not sure about the date of delivery.

                  My question would be why would dealer take booking for a car which didn't manufactured from Feb 2022 and promised to deliver the car by March end.

                  If you want to cheat customer, please proceed with same model and it will be very successful.

                    Myself Shankar from Chennai and my vechile number is TN05CC8019. I bought this vechile on April 2021 and till now I have driven this vechile only for less than 6000 kms. On 19th March 2022 I went to Tirupati with my family and on 20th March 2022 Afternoon we met with an accident in tirupati due to break failure with my car. My car was moving only in less than 20 kms speed, so luckily I am safe with my family. But the front bonnet is completely damaged and this break failure seems to be an manufacturing detect.

                    Immediately i contacted the roadside assistance team and they took my car to Renault Tirupati Service centre. I am not getting a proper support from the tirupati service centre and I need someone to help me with this issue. Requesting for immediate support.

                    i booked renault kwid in Brog road, Mehta market, Kumarhatti, Distt solan Himachal Pradesh-173229.They took me 10000 booking amount, nither they deliver vehicle nor they refund me booking amount.hen i purchased from chandigarh.I asked them to refund booking amount but the told me they will refund after some time, but till date they have not refund booking amount.Kindly see the matter on priorty basis.

                          Dear sir, two months back i paud my car loan pre closure amount and this company sent my NOC through Post office and when i inquired in our post office they said they haven't received any. For the past two month nths i sent minimum ten emails to send that NOC again through proper courier service (and i agreed to pay charges also) or aent it to their Hyderabad branch where i purchased my vehicle. They are not responding and not talking to me not rectifying their mistake and not sending another one. Kindly advise.

                            Hi i bought renault Triber RXT model with Air bag on 15 August 2021 car number - GJ - 05 - RN - 4414. on 27 Feb 2022 my brother met with very hard accident. Even after this dangerous accident car air bag was not open. I want to file a case against this. We are paying 30 to 40k extra because of air bag feature how can company can compromise with our security. I am also uploading the pictures then you will see yourself how company like renault is playing with our life. now the company give me new car or i am file the case against company on consumer court.

                                  Very bad experience with Renault emergency road side assistance. My car light system started acting wierd and after a few moments it stopped and couldn't start the car again, I called on the helpline number multiple time and after wasting so much time I managed to log a ticket to customer care, they gave me 20 minutes waiting time but after waiting for two hours no one came to fix the issue. Called the person again and again but he was not in mood of coming. Didn't expected this from Renault. I somehow towed my car to my home, but please send some one to fix this as my car is still in warranty.
