Dear Team,

Writing this email to you with a hope that this reaches a desk that can take an action.

I have booked a Thunderbird X - 500 on 6th May 18.

Mr.Rupesh Patil had confirmed that the delivery will happen in 20 to 25 days.

Suddenly he has disappeared and has stopped answering my calls and messages. After calling up 3 different people, I was informed that he has moved from the showroom and the new Sales rep is Mr.Rajan who is equally irresponsible and pathetic will manage my deal.

He had promised that the vehicle is reaching the showroom today, on 28th May and I can get the deliver in next 3 days.

He has stopped responding my messages as well and after trying hard, I have got no of Mr.Ravi Mangure who claims to be the manager (Not even fit for a customer facing role).

He had promised to check and get back, which after multiple followup from my side, informed a representative from showroom to call me and say that elivery will happen only after 10th June 18.

When I asked to escalate the matter, Mr.Ravi informed me that he is the senior most and there is no one above him !!!

I would like to highlight that I wanted delivery on 25th on my wife's birthday which did not happen. I insisted on 2nd June which is my parent's wedding anniversary, and now even that date is not possible.

From all my interactions with your staff, I get a feeling that my business does not hold any value to you guys, as a corporate You guys are too big, and cancelling the same also doesn't matter to anyone.

All the interactions have been full of arrogance and false promises and I wish to put this up on social media as well which very soon I will.

Request you to kindly confirm a date of delivery and if that's not possible, advise how do I cancel my booking.

Also would like to bring to your notice that your showroom has informed they will charge a 2% fee if I use my card to pay.

I am a banker my self and I know that the bank charges are not to be borne by customer.

I will make sure this thing is highlighted to consumer forum if the issue is not dealt with sensitively.

    I have complaint regarding not getting full payment receipt. I have paid 166739/-rs. To dealer and he gave me 163486/-rs. Receipt only. The difference of 3253/-rs. He refused to give receipt. I ask for that payment receipt he hasn't have any satisfied answer. I gave written complaint
    With full details. But dealer don't accept that. After so many request so finally accept. I here with attached that letter photo. Pl. Do something. Give prompt reply.

      The bike is 3 years old and just run around 27000 km. It's oil change and servicing is done regularly at 3000km intervals. Now there is an issue with the crankshaft and service station is advising to change it. Would like to know that royal enfield does provide this type of quality in bikes for a large amount of money. Kindly request you to solve the issue.

        I m big fan of re since long. Just bought thunder 350x. Yesterday did first ride of approx 100 km. Engine got so hot that i felt like my leg is burning while i was wearing shocks and full trouser. Please confirm if there is any manufacturing defect with this model i. E. With my bike. As it will always be very problematic to ride in shorts if engine produce so much heat.
        Please provide quick response and solution.

        My complaint status is showing "marked as resolved" while it is not resolved yet, please change status as pending and provide solution of the same.
        I have ordered thunderbird 350xnew version 3 months back till you does not given any i formation about the bike is this correct for you, you just killing so much time still not giving any information about the bike. You must give some information for buying for that much cost so bad of you royal enfield. Please be responsible for the coustemers

          Hello team,

          I don't know how much valuable your customer for you, once they purchased the bike. However i am writing this email to you expecting some solution.

          I have purchased royal enfield 500cc on september 2017. After 500kms my rear break issue started and i visited the service center (Whitefield, bangalore). They have replaced the break shoe and i have paid for it.

          Again after 500kms issue started, i visited again and they have done cleaning of shoe and told me that its proper and issue started after 5, 10kms itself. This issue is keep on going till now. Its almost 4200kms now 3 times break shoe has changed, 4 to 5 time they have cleaned the shoe and given. Still the issue is not solved.

          I have asked re team to give it in writing, if they are not able to solve the issue. Even i am not getting it. If you guys given it in writing i can go with local mechanics who has solution for the break issue.

          I have visited more than 8 times till now and issue is not solved.

          Does this mail can be taken seriously and try to solve this issue?

            I adv hrishikesh deshmukh, badmath, dist hingoli, maharashtra, took a re classic 350cc red bike from nanded showroom & since last 4 servicing i am facing miss firing problem & igine noise problem & many another & its not getting resolved since last one year so kindly look into it & resolve. And for recently i left it at royal enfield showroom i. E. Nandi motors, nanded & it's very irritating since one year for me to drive a bike like i am paid full amount one stroke & within these one year maximum time bike was at service station.
            Kindly look into it & resolve it please.

              I was promised that delivery will happen within 45 to 60days. I patiently waited for this long. No intimation yet. It's very wrong on re part. I had a emergency of buying a bike yet suffered commuting and waited for re for 60 days and this is the way they payback customers. How can a company be so irresponsible? Is this exhibiting audacity, as people are blindly believing you?

                As per the booking order delivery was 45 days but till date even after completion of 61 days no calls from the dealer on delivery. Naveen the sales manager (Mobile no : [protected]) at cvs motors confirmed to me 10 days ago that delivery will be done post 23rd may 2018 but today when i contacted him he has put me on a conference call with some unidentified person who was heard saying the delivery will happen in aug18.

                Also the sales staff never pick calls or respond to several messages sent.

                Please note will issue a legal notice if i do not get the delivery of the vehicle before 29th may 2018.

                  I bought redditch 350 on 6th august, 2017 in bangalore. There were 4 services free for my bike. Three services for my bike were done at below service centre.

                  When i went for the fourth service, i was charged with rs. 976/- with a comment that this is the 5th service of the bike.in the service manual, i already have my 4th service card intact. On showing the same, the employee showed a handwritten note with a false date of entry and that too on a random day at some other location. This is really absurd. I am attaching a picture of the service manual with the false entry.

                  Why do a shop would do my bike's service for free without a service manual? They are sticking to the handwritten note which is really false. You can see the picture and decide why would i do a servicing of my bike so soon when the servicing date is not reached, neither my bike completed the required kilometers.

                    This amit i have taken the classic 350 of before 9 month ago from few days from my bike meter not working and gear box also hard and suddenly bike off. I think royal en field was one of the quality product but with in few day i was getting rep ire i think my open was wrong i think now a days royal en-field no maintain good quality and not proper service and high charge

                      I had purchased a royal enfield – classic 350 black bs iv on 13/09/2017 from kaizen motors – vytilla.

                      This is the second time i am informing you about the complaint. Sorry to say that it was disappointing that till now i didn't get a positive response from you.

                      I recognized the noise from the vehicle for the first time on 3rd april while i was travelling to munnar for attending an interview, unfortunately i was not able to attend it because of the so called reason. I informed kaizen motors regarding the complaint and also brought the vehicle on the same day night itself the gm of kaizen motors mr. Shivankutty examined the vehicle and ensured the noise.
                      He asked to bring the vehicle, the next day, for the further verification. But the behaviour of gm was not good enough. Even though he knew the real complaint was manufacturing defect he didn’t take it in a serious way. I refuse to take the vehicle on the same day and the vehicle was ensured with a warranty period. After 5 days (9th april) they return back the vehicle after oil changing and engine works.

                      On 7th may the same problem was again noticed, i send the recorded video of the damaged vehicle to mr rahul hk, mr, shivankutty and service manger too, the service manger mr. Shony
                      Ask to bring the vehicle on 16th may. The sound was still present. Gm pacified me that he will immediately inform the head office regarding the complaint and also told a representative from the head office will come to verify the vehicle and asked me to accompany him. But the gm cheated me lying that the representative from the head office; but the person was actually from kaizen motors he unconditionally regretted that we can’t do anything more when i refuse to take the vehicle back, i registered a complaint (Ccshoc[protected] but they closed my registration even without contacting me or clearing the complaint

                      Now i really regret the amount i took to spend for this vehicle is a mere waste of time for approving a loan to get sanctioned.

                        Hi there,

                        My name is lalit shinde and would like to share an issue regarding my tb350.
                        I have purchase my tb from ostwal motors (Nashik) in aug 2016.
                        I had some noise issues after a week when i purchase this bike that time service engineer declare thats normal noise. Now that sound have turned into a crank case problem. I do regular servicing from brahma motors, shivajinagar - pune. I have done regular servicing, never gone for long rides, never ride bike above 100kmph still my bike crank case gone bad. It is making loud noise now and service center technician said the crank shaft is making that noise. Bike has two years warranty but the kilometers crossed 22k and now service center said there would be charges around 30k to fix crank. I have invested lot of money to keep it maintain, did servicing before 3000kms finishes everytime. Still i have such issue.

                        Took 2 lac rupees for bike and gave me faulty bike. Have 2 years of warranty and still not covered and have to pay 30k more to fix the problem. This is ridiculous.

                          On 13th april 2018, i purchased new classic 350.

                          Model: royal enfield classic 350 bs iv

                          Purchased from - haidan motors

                          I have discovered that the bike has the following problem:

                          1. When the hridaan motors handover me the bike i notice that bike petrol tank was scratched so i ask them to replace they replace it but while replacing petrol tank they left bike cables outside the seat.

                          2. Also front and rear mudguard is damaged.

                          3. Engine knocking is still noisy, i asked them why this is happening they advised me after 500-1000 km run it will stop.

                          4. After first servicing i have the pick up problem, while running it automatically down.

                          5. Gears are not working properly, its hard to put.

                          6. Tapped noise is more than loud compare to other classic 350.

                          7. And now engine casing cracked while running and bike locked now.

                          The consumer rights act makes it an implied term of the contract that goods be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

                          I am entitled to have the bike replaced and i would request that you confirm you will do this within the 7 days from the date of this letter.

                          I also require you to confirm whether you will arrange for the bike to be collected or will reimburse me for the cost of returning it.

                          I look forward to receiving your satisfactory proposals for settlement of my claim within seven days of the date of this letter.

                          Also i have attached the defective parts pics.

                            My vehicle was purchased on 23/038/2018, 2900, form the first service itself we have give the complaint regarding front disk brake and engine tapper noice,
                            04/05/2018 i have raised a complaint and gave the vehicle for service, they told again the sound from the engine ownt repeat, after two days same sound came with huge. Directly take the vehicle to service center showed the noice. They advice me to bring the bike the next day 17/05/2018 i gave the vehicle they told we need time to analyse your vehicle it will take time. I agreed and gave the bike. Yesterday 18/05/2018 they call and informed me your vehicle was ready for delivery. Again the disk complaint was repeated. Service engineer tested it told me your front wheel was damaged so only this issue has been coming. U have pay some amount to retify the problem. I argued with the service engineer about the payment. But they were not convienced.

                                so i brought fuel tank part number: 866176 on 6th may 2018. i saw the tnk and i asked the dealer that there is a layes of paint inside it but he told me that this is coating sir product is ok and new, so i brought it and got fixed with mechanic but after riding 15 km my bike stopped and the engine was dead, i went to mechanic and we found that the so called coating inside the tank has seized my engine giving me a heavy damage,
                                all parts of engine are gone off
                                1 valve .

                                4. head packing
                                5. cylender packing
                                6. cylender kit
                                7. carburator with rubber
                                8.Engine oil

                                so i want to complain against royal enfield and the dealer that why they have given me the local tank and why they insist me to buy one. i have paid 8180 inr for new tank and it has given me the damage and loss of 25000 inr

                                kindly do the needful as i need my bike to be repaired with new part as soon as possible because i dont have any other vehicle to commute.

                                  Registering this complaint on "i speed motors, 127-b, bricklin road, purasaiwalkam, chennai-7" and i am entirely confident that anyone will take my complaint seriously however fingers crossed. This isn't my first grievance with i speed & i lost count remembering how many times they had fooled me. On 09-may i requested to take my bike from home for repair. I told them only 3 complaints have to be addressed and nothing more. When the technician called me he gave list of things which needs to be replaced but i stopped him and told him to fix only three things. 1. Chain sprocket 2. Pillion seat handle 3. Bumper refit. I gave specific instruction not to touch or replace or work on any other without my consent. I have a reason why i said like that however will explain it later. Today (17-may) i went to collect my bike from service and to my shock i saw a big list of spares that were charged to my bill. There were 20 spares that was listed on the bill. I asked the technician why engine oil was topped up without my consent for which he dint have answer. I am using higher variant of engine oil but now they have only corrupted mine. Brake shoe was also replaced which i had already changed 2 months back. Like this there were other things which were done without my consent. When i addressed these the other technician was giving a rude response as if it was his bike. I purchased my bike in 2014 and till 2016 i always leave my bike in authorized service centres (Velavan & now i speed) but later understood that these guys only interested in selling spares & not analyzing the cause of the problem to fix the issue i stopped taking my bike to these guys. I paid rs.4035 (Incl labor) today for most of the work which i did not request for. I feel that now since there are too many vehicles manufactured out of chennai, showroom dealers are more interested in only selling spares but not really into resolving the issue. It even throws me a doubt whether the technicians who are working are even qualified to handle our bikes or they just learn from their seniors, whatsoever, i am really upset with the unprofessional & unethical experience.in my opinion leaving bikes in authorized service centers is just waste of money. There are many good mechanics outside & i might as well take my bike to them. This will be the last that i took my bike to re service station. As i mentioned earlier, i don't have any hopes that authorities will look into this and address my concern but i will give one last try for the sake of my satisfaction.

                                    Little did i know that when i would buy a royal enfield standard 500 from sai ram autocrafts, i would be literally taken for a ride.
                                    I got delivery of the bike from sairam auto in november 2015. Right from the first day the ride quality of the bike was questionable. When i talked to the service advisor, he just ignored my pleas stating that the bike needs some mileage and then it will be smooth.

                                    That never happened. I complained that the ride quality is not good from mechanical perspective and also that the rear supension didnt work at all. The service advisor paid no heed to it.

                                    After some time i had to change the rear springs as it was horrible to ride on indian roads. Little time after that noise in crank shaft came into picture. Luckily it was under warranty and dealership said that they will take care of ti and that the bike will be as good as new. Barely 3 months after that when i gave it for servicing in another dealership, then they informed me that the engine casing has a leak. I am fed up of constantly putting money in to this bike. This is totally below standards for really anything, and i urge re to please inquire about the subject and let me know what you intend to do about this unprofessionalism.

                                    I took my vehicle 3days before from royalenfield showroom.
                                    Today I started my vehicle but it had some problem in battery, now the mechanic took my vehicle to workshop and my question is how can a battery get down within 3days. all I want is to change my battery I need a new battery

                                      Hi,

                                      My speedometer clamps are broken. There was no bike fall nor any harsh impact. Now it's completely balanced on cables. Can anyone escalate this.
                                      Bike: thunderbird 350
                                      Got bike in april 2017.
                                      Please can this be escalated immediately.
                                      Earlier i would vibrate but this time it's completely out.

                                        I really dissappointed with the customer service of Royal Enfield. Still my issue is not fixed ... Please give me a reason for my chassis breakage without any accidental case ... If such chassis break .. Anyone doesnot want to bought bullet bikes... Your employee told me that ki you will go to insurance company, but tell me one thing what reason i told to inurance company for breakage . ...Please help me to fix this its urgent ... It was my last mail. Otherwise i will raise this matter to consumer forum and media...
