With reference to the above subject it is to inform you that i have purchased new bike three months ago and it ran 4400 km till date and also 2 services have been done by the moradabad centre. Three days ago while driving i faced problem in starting my bike and the system shows the battery low and upon enquiring in the service station the concerned person told me that there is a problem in charging of battery and they told me to replace clutch parts and charged undue amount from me for the same and during each service they also demanded undue charges every time. I don't know what type of free services the company is providing me and i was told about the warranty period also then why the concerned are demanding charges for each and every type of services.
I want to know the full details of the services provided by you after sales and also request you to resolve the matter immediately.

    I am putting forth this mail across the concerned authorities of Royal Enfield, to register a complaint/ grievance against the inappropriate customer service I received at the mentioned company service center.

    I used to address myself as a proud owner of Royal Enfield, years back when I owned my first Classic 350. Not anymore will I even say that I own a Royal Enfield, since it brings such a shame to own one.

    I am writing this with deepest grievance on the plight that I have been put through for the past 9 months, in the whole process of Booking, getting the delivery, owning and running to service center and yet tired of complaining about my experience about owning a TB 500

    May 1st 2016, the day on which I took a bad decision of booking my long term love TB500 (Matte Black) at Sri Velavan Motors, Greams road. What a warm welcome have I received the week before, by the sales executive Mr.Balaji who offered a test drive for me and made me fall into this pit of lies and false commitments. I took the decision, basis his commitment of delivering the bike within 45 to 60 days. Mr.Balaji who convinced me to do the booking was never seen after that. Now comes Mr.Udayan, who is my so called relationship manager for vehicle delivery, who came up with all the following excuses. GST problem, BS4 bikes are in progress, 500 CC’s are in demand and hence the delay, RTO has kept hold on BS4 releases… and what not. With my network and known sources I found that none of the above stated was a reason for the delay. Sri Velavan Motors became a Private Limited company in the interim and hence the compliance internally caused this delay, which Mr.Udayan confessed after exposing the truth over a phone call.

    The waiting was exiting until I faced the nightmare post 60 days. I started realising my mistake of not enquiring about the commitment levels of Velavan Motors and after sales services. Never knew that such a gigantic brand like Royal Enfield failed to deliver on after sales and left the customers to grope in dark. Despite of several escalations, none of the representatives were willing to give a clear picture, nor let me further escalate just to save their collars.

    6 months of waiting and I lost my patience. Now I had to go by hard and fast rule of withdrawing my booking and called Mr.Udayan to convey it. Well, the surprising part is that there was no regret or remorse from this gentlemen who heard me whining about my issue and advised me to fill in a withdrawal form by visiting the dealership. Wow! what an amazing courtesy level from this Brand to its customer. My heart never let it go and I still convinced myself to go through the shame of requesting to expedite the process. Weeks fly by again and now I had to step down by asking to deliver any colour that was available. I was offered Classic Dessert Storm instead, which was not even on my list. I hope the reader understands, what kind of a traumatic experience it would be, to go through all this after booking a bike that costs Rs.2 Lakhs plus.

    Another week went by and I had to pay a visit to the dealership to meet Mr.Udayan, since he was so busy that he didn’t even had time or courtesy to return my calls. Yet again with no regret or remorse the response was usual and not promising. Not knowing what to do, I had to call the customer care and place a complaint about this whole incident and now I really took the plunge of withdrawing my booking and go to a reputed print media to share my experience. There started the fire within Velavan motors team and I was offered a Marine Blue TB500 (please note that I booked Matte black), the very next day. I didn’t want to let it go since I had already lost my patience and time arguing and negotiating with these bunch of people who care a damn for their customers.

    After paying the full amount, I had to wait for another 7 days to even get the vehicle delivered. Now for the second traumatic journey.

    No pooja done or no wishes to the customer, the bike was just delivered in a shabby condition. The pillion seat and driver seat was shaking and it was not noted by the QA team before delivery. After pointing it, they made all their efforts to fit it but they left in vain, stating me to take it to service center directly, while their concentration was to finish the other deliveries pending for the day. How auspicious is to take the bike directly to a service centre from delivery instead of going to a temple. Half the way through Mr.Udayan, who accompanied me convinced me not to go to the service center since it was already 7.30pm (not sure what hurry was he in). There goes my sentiments on this bike, where I had to take it to the temple with the faulty seat by holding it in my other hand all the way through.

    No follow-ups until the vehicle was due for its first service and I happened to get my seats fixed through a local mechanic who did the job in hardly 5 mins. The vehicle was hardly 100 kms run and I left the bike for first service and got it delivered the same day evening without a water wash that was noticeable under the pillion bumper. Was not in a mood to argue with these people and I left the place. Here comes the irony, In 400 kms the bike was due for its second service. Yet again the same day delivery and I realised the moment I came out the venue that that brakes were not functioning. How well does the QA team works here, by delivering a bike without even checking if the breaks are fitted properly. Called the service engineer and gave him a piece of my mind. They did all sort of running around dramas and gave the bike without inspecting again. Now to my surprise, I hear a rattling sound from the rear wheel.

    Being a Sunday morning I go to the service centre and asked them to inspect it again. After one and half hours I get a reply from one of the engineer that there could be some problem in the rear disk and they are getting it fixed and hence he requested me to leave the bike with them by putting a job card. The vehicle was delivered with some temporary fix and I eventually started hearing the noise again. Inbetween my busy schedule (being a Chief HR for a BFSI sector), I had to force myself to visit the service center again on Saturday noon (following days are Pongal holidays). Was made to sit again for more than an hour and I see all these service engineers already in the holiday mood by exchanging sweets and not doing their job (as usual). 3 of the service engineers attended to it and finally the chief engineer (Mr.Dinesh) came back and said that being a holiday, it is not suggested to leave the bike in service center and had advised me to come and visit again post pongal and put a job card. They were still not able to find out as to what was causing the problem. This explains, how the customer is being made a joker.

    I decided not to visit them anymore and I paid a visit to Jaf bullets (most renowned Bullet mechanic in Chennai; since Britishers). Just a ride for 100 meters and he found the fault. The rear wheels ball bearing had worned out. How come it could happen for a bike that is brand new and hardly run 600kms? He raises this question himself and inspected the vehicle further. To his surprise and to my vain, it was found that the rear disk has a bend in it and that touches the calibre frame while riding, which indeed was the actual cause for the strange noise. Being a renowned mechanic, he advised me to leave the bike at the service station and asked me to seek an explanation from Velavan motors for delivering such a faulty bike for me. I left my bike without any hints on the fault, just to see what they claim and as I expected they had no clue after several minutes of inspections. Further not to waste my time, I hinted them on whats the issue and had claimed for an explanation.

    A job card was issued to me on[protected] with a wrong vehicle number (TN01BC006) actual no is (TN01BC0060). The advisor name is Mr.Praveen who had mentioned that the indicative delivery period is[protected], 2:00pm and it is already[protected] noon while am writing this complaint and NO NEWS FROM THEM YET as to what is happening to my bike. I have tried more than thrice since morning to reach out Mr.Praveen to know the status, but no response. At 2:00 pm today, I called the customer care number for this service center in Annasalai and the executive had promised that I will be receiving a call within 15 to 20 mins and the threshold had already crossed.

    Despite of all these issues being shared as a feedback to the customer care of Royal Enfield, I haven’t received even a single enquiry on post effect of the complaints yet. I would like to know how is Royal Enfield planning to address this issue? Is it Velavan motors to be blamed? Or is it the Brand? End result, the customer is impacted and I feel that my money had gone into a drain for no fault of mine. Top of all, the time, energy and stress that I went through…can that be compensated by any means?

    Are they going to replace a new bike for me instead? seek an immediate action on this.

    The pleasure of owning a Royal Enfield is not any more a pride, rather a pain. Hence proved.

      We got our royal enfield 350 cc classic vehicle delivery on 21st of jan 2018. Its going to be a month and still we have not received any update on rto challan and when we esquire about this with the showroom eveytime they say wait for one day.. Are they selling vehicle without paying rto. What they do with our money? We made complete payment on 11th of jan 2018.

        My bike goes to lamba service centre at tilak nagar and i am talking to aman who works at lamba service centre he said i came in just 2 minutes and he not came when i saw him i says u said for 2 min now you are 30 min late he said dont lick my brain go and talk inside otherwise i beat you and he is using abuse language so plz dont give jobs to such person and plz take action against them plz plz.. His name is aman and he is sardar...

          On jan 30th 2018, i have registered and booked royal enfield himalayan sleet + explorer kit with an advance payment 5000/-.

          But after taking a test ride and consulting the existing bs4 himalayan owners, decided to cancel the booking.
          While booking, the conditions clearly said that in case of cancellation, i have to collect a cheque from the dealer selected in the booking process.
          On jan 31st i have decided to cancel the booking and emailed the same.
          Since then i have been thrice to the cvs motors showroom for my refund.
          But no one entertains my request and tells me to transfer the booking to someone or buy some other bike.
          Is it a petty shop with some chocolates and biscuits.
          Very bad re.

            The dealer's name that is committing this fraud in the name of selling motorcycles is veer.
            The showroom's name is "veer autolinks".
            He calls you to purchase a motorcycle and then takes all of your money and pools it for unnecessary usages.
            He told me that you would receive a delivery within 15 days and he never gave it.
            When i asked me to give me my money back.. He lashed out at me and told me to shut the hell up.
            Reckless behaviour!!

              My name is p. Venakat sai a and i am telling about royal enfield show room in ankapalli is fraud show room and the mechanic how work in that show room they don't know how to repair a bike such a waste mechanic available in ankapalli royal enfield show room. I give my bike for not starting the bike they told it will 10k r 16k amount to repair but they could not repair my bike i give my bike 6feb and they keep my bike 4to days still they could not repair my bike and took my from the show room and give out side mechanic and he repaird for 8 hunderd with serviceing tax also and with in one day he repaired it this is the way u r cheating the people and taking the money for that four day i lost 15k salary and waste of time i will complaint to consumer court

                I want to complaint against royal enfield. I purchased the vehicle on 1st august, 2017. My bike is re classic 350 bs4 and has clocked close to 13500 kms. I am really unhappy with the quality. My spoke wheels which re calls strong got bent when i had a fall at 20kmph speed. I had to change the rims and the alignment again went out. The service guys after washing ended up damaging my dipper button. The bulbs are of low quality and i have changed them twice. The quality is so bad, i always hear the tappet noise at the start of the engine. The gears are bad and always get stuck in middle of traffic.

                  I have got the new bike royal enfield standard 500cc forest green on 1st feb 2018. Hardly drove for 6 kms and then the bike stopped and never started again. Called the vvc showroom, banjara hills, hyderabad for the reason, they have arranged a towing vehicle and took the bike to the showroom.

                  Its very unfortunate that the showroom personnel is not accepting for replacement of the vehicle and saying that he will replace the fuse and battery. That too for replacement of new vehicle it will take 1 month and that too asking us to pay 15000/- for a new version.. Can some once address this issue and take an appropriate action

                    I am putting forth this mail across the concerned authorities of Royal Enfield, to register a complaint/ grievance against the inappropriate customer service I received at the mentioned company service center.

                    On 7/2/2018, I gave my royal enfield motor bike at SS motors, thottada, kannur branch service center for scheduled service. I was told that my bike will be delivered after complete service by 3 pm the same day.
                    But unfortunately I didn't get any replies from the concerned service center pass the delivery time. I waited the entire day without any intimation from the center regarding a delay in the delivery and took the trouble of not having my vehicle for the rest of the day.
                    Later, the next day when I visited the service center after receiving an SMS to enquire about the delivery, the advisor told that it will be done in 10mins. I waited there and to my notice I saw the bike kept outside. Suprisingly, they had not even started the work on the vehicle. When I further enquired, instead of explaining the situation, I received a very rude and completely inappropriate behavior from the advisor Mr Adarsh(*Hop he miss guide his name )The attitude of the person was totally impolite, with back answers to my questions to know when the bike would be delivered.(His replay was we know how to service and we have kept this open for that only The behavior was implying that royal enfield does not value it's customers and only concerned with their work.They mentioned the above
                    With high hopes of customer service I gave my bike to the company service center instead of getting the job done by a local mechanic. But with such intolerable customer experience I would now rather prefer the second option from next time. Even after waiting so much, pass lunch time, on delivery the bike was serviced incomplete and left with smudge marks of the work. I have attached photos for your kind reference.

                    Hope this feedback is looked upon immediately and necessary actions are taken at the earliest to value customer image3.jpeggrievance. image2.jpeg

                      Im from kerala and i own a classic 350.. Its the second time the chain sprocket is damaged... The motorcycle having completed 20, 000kms.. One has to pay 1.5 lakhs and wait for months and all they do is provide such low quality products and i am not the only one facing this issue. I have seen many compalints regarding the chain sprockets. So it would be good if deal with this issues as soon as possible and i hope royal enfield solves this issue.

                      Parts ordered not yet come and Tommorow while riding the brake foot rest came out.what product you are using I really don't understand and parts haven't came till yet what service you are providing .Better you take the bike back and keep it as show piece in your showroom where bike has some use.
                      Being Prestige Company but service is pathetic.

                        This is with the reference of my bike classic 350 bearing reg. No. Mp07nb3814.

                        So the concern is chain sprocket broken for manufacturing fault. Kindly look at my service history all service by time to time.
                        I complaint against royal enfield gwalior somya motors pvt. Ltd.
                        Because chain sprocket is not working its manufacturing defect.

                        There is a person said us to me that chain sprocket broken every 3000km.
                        And no response from the manager & toll free no. [protected] and [protected]. Please help me as soon as possible.
                        Help me other wise i can go for legal and social media.

                        I booked my bullet on 10jan and on 2.02.2018 i went to get my bike but manager doesnt know how to deal with customer. He talked with us full of attitude. We didnt satisfy by GURU KIRPA MOTORS PATIALA and we cancelled our bike even my 3 students also booked and we are going to cancel their bookings. We donot have believe on ROYAL ENFIED.
                        They called me for vehicle delivery at 5:30PM ... I reached by 7 pm but still they didn’t complete the service...

                          I have brought royal enfield electra bullet on may 2015. I am using weekdays aprox 40kms. Last month on jan 2018 my bike got switched off while driving in main road with approx 60kmph speed which is really dangerous. I went and spoke with service centre regarding this issue and they said the warranty is just 1year for the parts coming with the new bike. I have paid 2500 rs for new battery.

                          It is totally dam.
                          Hi sir/madam i buy last weak a new standard 350 Enfield and aound 350 kmtr only i ride.
                          Now from the engine side oil leakage and also noice is coming from the engine side..
                          Unnonny motors kottrakara give me a defective royal Enfield classic 350.. just 1500 km driven bike condition is very poor.. heavy tappet sound and my bike break down in more than 4 times because of missing and my bike is totally complaint.. jst 2 month old bike..

                            I have book royal enfiled classic 350 gummental gray motorcyle on 30 dec 2017. I have paid entre price by cheque. But they are not delivered the motorcycle witin time decide by delar. Also delay to send paper for registered the said motorcycle in rto. I have delivered the motorcycle on 21st jan. 2018 at 10.30 pm and till today the said motorcycle is not registered. It is very delay to carry work by dealer. It is very poor services of delar to deliver and registration process. It is very harmful to the customer.

                              Hugely dishearten customer :
                              I have given my royal enfield thunderburd bike for servicing a month back, after service i have seen multiple issues in the bike newly created during service, after which they have corrected some of those, few are still not solved, major issue was oil leakage, which took engine to be opened and checked for which they have charged very huge, i see now oil leakage is not happening but bike mileage has reduced drastically, came down to 11 kms/ltr, it use to give 30+ kms/ltr, and its not coming to reserve, it directly will switch off, back light will be always on it does not go off, i am tiered of giving my bike everyday to repair, i have spent huge money for all the faults created by mechanics, branch manager is very irresponsible, it looks completely looting people money in the name of service

                                Royal enfield company is not providing 2 years warranty for battery even though battery manufacturer (Amaron) has given 2 years.

                                1. If you take that battery directly to the amaron dealer they are accepting but royal enfield guys are insisting us to buy a battery from retailer and also while purchase they didn't given us battery warranty card simply they have written 1 year in invoice

                                  My name is kapil kukreja ([protected]), i have bought new royal en-field thunderbird in aug 2014 (Chassis no : me3u3s5c1eh087786, engine no : u3s5c0eh530958). I am trying to get my bike registered no for last 3.5 yrs but manager and executive are fooling me with every possible reason they have. Every now and then new reason comes up. Initially it was like they couldnt find tax receipt because of showroom shifted from one place to other (They took time 3yrs). For last 6 months i have been actively calling them every other day to check the status of the registration but still things are not done. When i went to rto in aug-2017 they told me there is no registration made for the chasis no and engine no and lately after 4 months they agreed yes vehicle is not registered with rto which took only one day for me to check whether vehicle is registered or not. Now i dont know what problem they have still not giving me any definite date when its gonno be over. For last 6 months i have been calling them and visiting showroom on every weekend but still no progress they have made. Even after i agreed to pay money to them they are still not doing registration.

                                    On saturday i have gone to the nearest service center toward my home.. The royal enfield showroom at pattambi i have done the service for 9000 kms and i have said the complaint of clutch and front disc brake issue and they have only change the disc brake problem and it only cause the apporcimatily 600 rs and they have change the possition of my thunderbird 350s handlebar due to the possition changed of handle bar i have gone to th service center today[protected] they are saying that they goes not changed the possition of handle and i asked them for repossitioning and they loose the nut then the thread at the plate goes out and they again asked me to pay 400 rs for their misstake.. If the company manager reading this please refud my amount otherwise i will move it towards court contact number [protected]

                                    Maine RE pe Trust ker ke DE 500 CC Bike 2014 Dec mey purchase ki. 15000 km chalne ke baad 7 nos Spark plug 3 month mey change kerna pada . 17000 km chanle ke baad black smoke ka issue aa gaya. agency mey pay kerke sahi kerwaya phir 19000 km chanle ke baad white smoke aur missing ka issue aa gaya agency gaya wo bole 35000 rs apko pay kerna padega .

                                      I made 2 service in i speed motor which was highly dis-satisfied me. 3rd service i went to rudra motor in arumbakkam. I made a compliant about chain noise after appraising they reverted to change the chain sprocket. My question here is with in 6000kms how chain life has gone. During my first service re committed that 12k to 13k kms for life of chain, though i have been maintaining proper chain cleaner and lubricant on weekly basis. I surprising that how re not maintaining quality on their product. So pls resolve and replace at foc basis. If didn't get any proper solution i am gonna share my dis-satisfaction feedback to social media.. Hope your customer is important and your good well too. Pls take immediate action at the earliest.

                                        Hi,

                                        I have royal enfield bullet 350, i gave for the service in whitefield motors bangalore service station, they have told that if the bearing replaced problem will be solved, and i said ok for that, and paid total service amount of rs 5020.
                                        But problem is not yet solved they are telling now they need to change one more part.

                                        But my question is without clear the problem how can they deliver the vehicle.

                                        It's not satisfied and they are not giving proper guidance.

                                        Please do the needful.
