Hi,

I have bought Classic 350 from Velavan motors (Greams Road, Chennai) on November 2014.

Recently i have been hearing noise from my engine. So I took my vehicle to service centre, they are saying that there is some problem with Engine Bearing/Crank Shaft. And the service requires to dismantle the engine and will take a month and its going to cost me around 20, 000 rs.

I always service regularly between 3 to 4 months. My per day commute is only 20 kms. I dont go on long trips. I dont rash drive. At the maximum I drove is 80kmph. I dont know what I did wrong to deserve this.

Issues i have faced in my Classic 350 so far:

Amp Meter - They replaced with Bullet 350 (Black color) in warranty
Battery - I bought and replaced new battery, because the service center couldnt take my bike because of flood camp and the warranty has been expired.
Petrol Tank (Replaced by RE, Ticket number 160751)

Now Engine Bearing/Crank shaft.

Am I deliverd with faulty vehicle? Because I have seen people using 3, 4 decades old Royal enfield, but mine have engine problems in just 3 years. Did I pay 1, 40, 000 rs for a product thats going to last for only three years?

Even if it gets serviced, I dont know whether i can trust that there wont be other problems in future.

    I have purchased a royal enfeild classic 350 ash colour on 22nd july from ambey motors patna bihar. I havent got my registration card which was supposed to be delivered within 20-30 days of purchase till today. Showroom staffs and owners are continuously making excuses saying "within a week". I am very frustrated from this issue as the bikes purchased from that showroom after my purchase have got their registration card.

      I have bought enfield last september 2017 from balaji motors broadway and i was giving service to them till 6 service and the last service was unsatisfactory but when i went there i found it is closed so i ginen my vehicle at thousand light for service but instead of my actual complaint they have done all extra work and raise the bill. My starting complain for which i had given that's remains the same and last three days its lying at my residence. Please help me out to rectify the same and suggest me the rite service centre were i can give my vehicle for service.
      I was using other brands vehicle and everywere this the same issue of service.
      You should have your own service centre were we can give our vehicle for service as we are buying such a costly vehicle and we don't get proper service than whats the use.
      Please help me out with this serious issue.

        I will purchase a new 500 your bullet
        I m going in your authorised show room apurva motors sikar rajasthan
        I will booked a royal enfield 500cc your staff say we will provied u in 10days of working period
        They will not responce us for a bike
        They have no value for a custmer we will visit your show room apurva motors there staff will not respond me in show room
        They have no reply for purchase a new bike they have no time no respond us
        I have book it on 13 jan 2018 they will not receive my calls & not give any response when we go in showroom they have no menrs to say custmer to set hear & any water tea noting
        They have not show me bike in showroom your staff say we have busy no time to consult bikes details
        This is not good for royal enfiled

          I devendra Mahale have booked royal enfeild thunderbird 350 marine colour on 18/12/2017 & showroom sales person has given me a timeline of two month for the delivery of bike but from last one week to today i. e 24/01/2018 no one are given me the exact status of my bike, no one pick the phone call on the number given by them even showroom numbers are also not answering, they reply me that you r not booked a bike on that day & they also reply that u booked a bike of lightining instead of marine & when i am told them about my booking receipt, they were cut the phone.

            This is to inform you that i purchase a royal enfield gun metal grey 350 classic from manzil motors pvt. Ltd. Sohna road gurgaon haryana 122001 with in a month all body parts paint is braking out and they took me extra money and says once you provide us rc copy then refund you. 20 days back i provide the rc copy in there account department but they don't answer me.
            Can any one resolve my problem which i facing from manzil motors pvt. Ltd.

              I bought classic 500 desert storm bs iv on 27 aug 2017
              It has exide battery and it was giving problem its totally dead so i went to the dealer at him enfield dharmshala kangra hp they check the battery and told me that battery so is not charging so ihave to go to the exide agency which is 20 km far from my place and they will check and replace it when i said i bought it form you you give me warrenty and road side servicing for 2 years so why should i go to other place but i think they are no willing to help me
              So i m complainting that my battery is in under warrenty and i want to replace that from dealer only i done want to go any where else plz help me out asap]

                The gear box is making sound continue after the service also.

                  Today i have been to btm service center for servicing my classic 350, in morning the supervisor who has taken the vehicle told me that maximum it will cost 2700 rs for service and replacement of some thing which need to be.. Including cost of the products. But when i was there to take my vehicle back they given me bill of 4304 rs which has 2 parts...2136 rs for products and 2168 rs for labor charge. I am not able to digest this expensive bill. They charge for some services which are free also..

                    I have just purchased a himalayan last week.

                    The bike is showing very low average and performance is not upto the mark.

                    I have already visited the service centre five times taking leave from my job and they have reduced the rpm which makes the bike turn off while riding suddenly on low acceleration.

                    Yesterday i visited them again and they made changes to the rpm by connecting a machine to the bile and changed the fuel gage. The turning off while riding has been resolved but the bike overall performance is not upto the mark and also average has been reduced a lot even more.

                    It looks to me there is no one technically sound to attend my bike at the service station.

                    Please attend and resolve my issues and send your qualified engineer and provide me a resolution as i cannot afford leaving my office every time and go to service centre.

                    I have buyed the classic 350cc on 15/05/2017 . After 2 nd service self garari is beak out. Then I am asked to service center for Exchange new in guarantee but mechanic decline and say you have to pay 4717 and some extra charges around 5000 have to pay... I am asking to you sir something is happen in my case...

                      After too much harassment by jaycee motors corporation - royal enfield, amritsar (Address: opp. Guru harikrishan public school, g t rd, sant nagar, amritsar, punjab 143001), i dr. Akashdeep sending you this complaint regarding too much delay in repair and replacements of some parts of my re desert storm after accident on 21 sep (Chassis and front mudguard replacement). I didn't called service center after all formalities done, leaving my bull in workshop, trusting on them that they will fix it at least in a month or so as told by one of their service men. When i didn't get any call from them at times i decided to visit personally, there i found my bike was as such didn't went under any procedure (In fact found clutch handle broken and right bulb cover lost). They said after a week they gonna proceed with that chassis arrived but not mudguard. And i called them couple of days back and what i came to listen from them was
                      "mudguard is still pending order has been sent but we will put fix it up by putting the mudguard of some new desert storm. But there in some memory card that need to be replaced by new one costing around rs. 9000 needed to turn on the engine and without that it won't start also battery needs replacements or charging as it was idle for last 3 months"
                      Now i want to say although i did claimed insurance but even after that that will cost me around rs. 40, 000 (Initially) for everything after this memory card component that i don't even know what's it, neither they are telling me what exactly it is
                      (Not even getting it from any blog or internet search). So that means i can buy new bike with all that money that m gonna spend to repair my desert storm. All that harassment by royal enfield jaycee motors, amritsar; is actually making me to seek help of consumer court....
                      (Is it a curse that came along owning one of the top model of royal enfield desert storm 500cc??? Is this the customer support you give to your prestigious customers??? This is really hurting royal enfield and damn disappointing....
                      I want to answer for that.... Looking forward for your positive response....

                          We paid token advance on 1st jan 2018 and paid remaining 50000 on 11th jan 2018. Every time we are asking them the update, they are not calling us or updating on any details. I feel once the vehicle is booked they just neglect their customer. When we paid the token advance they had confirmed they will give the delivery in one week, later on we never received any calls. On 5th jan we received a message saying your load is approved and on 10th jan we receive a message saying vehicle is ready but still today no updates from the dealer and finally we had called today and now they are telling most probably by tomorrow they may give the vehicle and they are not sure about it.

                          Pathetic service from "koramangala motors" never ever i recommend this dealer to any of my friends or relatives.

                          today they are calling and advising that they are paying the money to RTO today and we can collect the challan tomorrow. So till now from Jan 21st what the showroom was doing? without paying road taxes to govt, how can they sell the bikes?

                            Purchased royal enfield classic gun metal grey on december 2017. Right from day -1 i am racing wobble issue (Bike wobbles when you take hands off frm handle bar (Above 40 km/hr to 60 km).

                            I am located at coimbatore. I have taken for service centre for almost 3 - 4 times. Still they are unable to resolve the issue. This is ridiculous i am fed up with the new bike now.

                              Total bill : 2500+ inr
                              Odo reading : 5500 kms
                              Oil change, air filter change, wheel alignment & front brake pad.

                              Complaint :
                              1. Wheel alignment costed 750 + tax. Which is not displayed transparent in notice boards, etc., they say it is outsourced activity and nothing can be done about. This is a steal price for wheel alignment.in fact, i didn't feel any difference before or after this is done.

                              2. Front brake pads go off in 5000 kms ride?? The actual change mentioned in manuals/notice board says 15000 kms. And the old parts are not given back to me.

                              3. The advisor says, "even if you write to head office it will come to me and i again i am going to tell your the same explanation. Nothing is going to happen or change, the head office people are not going to help you on the ground". Any explanation on this from the ho guys?!! Is this true?!!

                                Out of immense grief, i feel so sorry to put forward this complaint, about this otherwise reputed and celebrated brand, just for the reason that even i am a big follower of this organisation.

                                When i did pick up the bike, since day one i have been facing technical issues with the bike, in tern of its engine and gear box. Thrice i have been to the service station, even though i was assured issues have been rectified, there is no respite.

                                This is here by to request you to get my issue looked after at the earliest.

                                  Dear re team,

                                  Not sure if you do regular audit of your servicing centers. There is one servicing center at gachiwoli hyderabad called go green motors.
                                  Noway they meet customer expectation. They don't even do basic servicing like oil change service and water servicing well. Every time we approach someone there, he/she hands the matter over to someone else. The service is pathetic. Not sure if it is the case with every servicing center or this one is a special.

                                  There is no point of selling good bikes, if fail to service it. If you think i am the only unsatisfied customer, please check all the feedback @ the google reviews go green motors royal enfield service centre.

                                  All most everyone in thsi hitech city area come here for servcing and see how pathetic service they do. Please look into the matter. Please don't take it granted that nothing will happen even i[censored] continue doing the same.

                                    I bought my bike on June 6th 2017 morning which is in kurnool and my hometown is 150km from kurnool so I bought my bike to my home evening I thought to go for a ride so I turned the key and its jammed the key is not getting on so I called to the royal Enfield store kurnool after two days they send a key set after all process so they sent old lock set I thought what ever the key it will be OK. So after going on 500kms I gave my bike to service centre #BALLARI after completing the service the condition was very worst and I got a problem which is jerking a lot then I managed to Doo days r going on and I again went for 2nd service I complained about the jerking problem so they said that now the problem is solved after one day again I got the same problem and BALLARI is 60kms to my hometown I m unable to go for every time so while I am going to 3rd service when I put low beam switch the main light is not blinking for high it will be working so I went to BALLARI I said my problem same jerking problem and the low beam switch problem so they said that for switch set u have to pay so I asked why I have to pay bcoz I have a warranty not been too old only 5months has happen which I brought my bike, for warranty reason they said that u have old key set we don't give warranty for that what the ducking problem with these people to provide warranty for a new bike really I feel it's really waste to buy Royal Enfield even I won't encourage to my friends
                                    SO PLEASE DONT BUY ROYAL ENFIELD BIKES ITS WASTE OF MONEY THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING GOOD QUALITY AND SERVICE SUPPORT AT BALLARI IS VERY WASTE

                                        With great interest and passion i have purchased royal enfield bullet electra. Please have patience to read the complete mail to understand the kind of problems your customers are facing.

                                        To my knowledge i have faced the worst experiences after purchasing royal enfield.

                                        I have purchased bullet electra 350 with the subject regn no from one of your dealer vvc banjara hills hyderabad on 23rd of december 2016. I have been giving the bike for service in the same workshop regularly.

                                        Day 1 of purchase was all fine. My problem started since day 2 of purchase and continuing till date which is not fixed. There is a knocking sound coming from the engine which start when engine heats and the bike runs more than 30 - 40 kms continuously. And its not a low noise to adjust with. Its just brain hammering and feels like engine will explode at any point.

                                        I have been mentioning the same to your dealer every time i have given the bike for 1, 2, 3, 4 free service and a paid service and took the bike to them when there is knocking sound which they have witnessed many times. While delivering they say that it is fixed and i am still waiting for that day to come. I felt that this may not be resolved by your dealer and finally raised a compliant with royal enfield support and written mails.

                                        In response to mails and complaints one fine day i got a call from your tsm mr rajesh. (I think it is during third free service). He was polite and said that he is taking personal care and will get it fixed. He tried and again the problem occurred. The same repeated in 4th free service and next paid service also. I looped in mr rajesh, and every time i speak to him he says "he is there to help me" but i am not sure when that day would come. He said that the issue is with hydraulics and they were replaced two time.

                                        On 13th of january i started for a ride. After covering 80 km the knocking sound became very heavy and i had to return. I directly took the bike to the workshop immediately (Vvc jubilee hills) and gave the bike back. I tried calling mr rajesh and there was not response to my calls. I sent a message and there is no response.

                                        When i spoke to the technician he says that the issue again is the same and hydraulics have to be replaced.

                                        My questions are:

                                        1. How many times will they replace hyderaulics and what is the next course of action.
                                        2. For a new bike why is this problem frequently repeating and should the engine / what ever parts be opened so many times. Is that what your royal enfield work ethics says
                                        3. Is this the quality / build of a motor cycle which comes out of your factory
                                        4. Should i be a victim for such a poor quality build when all others are happy with their bikes (Royal enfield)
                                        5. Are your technicians / staff trained to handle such issues
                                        6. Do you have proper controls in place to address such issues.

                                        I have come to a conclusion that a defective bike is delivered to me. Because your people are trying to put all the efforts to fix this starting from service 1, 2, 3, 4 and 1 paid service and still this issue is not resolved and it is reproducing again and again. Or your people are not properly trained / efficient to handle the issue and just giving my bike back after doing some minor jobs.

                                        Every 45 days my bike has to come to your workshop for a vacation of 5 days. It has spent more time with your workshop than with me.

                                        Please accept my personal suggestion which will help you.

                                        Please ask royal enfield to recall my bike (Or i am ready to donate it for free) and use this bike as a case study to help your technicians get expertise. I am sure you will be appreciated for doing so. Because you may not get such a bike (Which is fixed every-time i bring it to you and still the issue is reproduced)

                                        Do me a favor by getting a best deal for this bike.. I am ready to loose some money for choosing royal enfield.

                                        I promise that i will again buy a royal enfield but this time please help me in selecting a good bike. I have realized that my selection is wrong and i am not going to take that bike back be it whatever situation.

                                        The most funniest part is that i have received no calls from your dealer workshop / tsm till now since 13th about further course of action.

                                        Looking for a response for all the above 6 questions at least from you.
