I bought my bike on June 6th 2017 morning which is in kurnool and my hometown is 150km from kurnool so I bought my bike to my home evening I thought to go for a ride so I turned the key and its jammed the key is not getting on so I called to the royal Enfield store kurnool after two they send a key set after all process so they sent old lock set I thought what ever the key it will be OK. So after going on 500kms I gave my bike to service centre #BALLARI after completing the service the condition was very worst and I got a problem which is jerking a lot then I managed to Doo days r going on and I again went for 2nd service I complained about the jerking problem so they said that now the problem is solved after one day again I got the same problem and BALLARI is 60kms to my hometown I m unable to go for every time so while I am going to 3rd service when I put low beam switch the main light is not blinking for high it will be working so I went to BALLARI I said my problem same jerking problem and the low beam switch problem so they said that for switch set u have to pay so I asked why I have to pay bcoz I have a warranty not been too old only 5months has happen which I brought my bike, for warranty reason they said that u have old key set we don't give warranty for that what the ducking problem with these people to provide warranty for a new bike really I feel it's really waste to buy Royal Enfield even I won't encourage to my friends
SO PLEASE DONT BUY ROYAL ENFIELD BIKES ITS WASTE OF MONEY THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING GOOD QUALITY AND SERVICE SUPPORT AT BALLARI IS VERY WASTE

    Hello sir

    With great interest and passion i have purchased royal enfield bullet electra. Please have patience to read the complete mail to understand the kind of problems your customers are facing.

    To my knowledge i have faced the worst experiences after purchasing royal enfield.

    I have purchased bullet electra 350 with the subject regn no from one of your dealer vvc banjara hills hyderabad on 23rd of december 2016. I have been giving the bike for service in the same workshop regularly.

    Day 1 of purchase was all fine. My problem started since day 2 of purchase and continuing till date which is not fixed. There is a knocking sound coming from the engine which start when engine heats and the bike runs more than 30 - 40 kms continuously. And its not a low noise to adjust with. Its just brain hammering and feels like engine will explode at any point.

    I have been mentioning the same to your dealer every time i have given the bike for 1, 2, 3, 4 free service and a paid service and took the bike to them when there is knocking sound which they have witnessed many times. While delivering they say that it is fixed and i am still waiting for that day to come. I felt that this may not be resolved by your dealer and finally raised a compliant with royal enfield support and written mails.

    In response to mails and complaints one fine day i got a call from your tsm mr rajesh. (I think it is during third free service). He was polite and said that he is taking personal care and will get it fixed. He tried and again the problem occurred. The same repeated in 4th free service and next paid service also. I looped in mr rajesh, and every time i speak to him he says "he is there to help me" but i am not sure when that day would come. He said that the issue is with hydraulics and they were replaced two time.

    On 13th of january i started for a ride. After covering 80 km the knocking sound became very heavy and i had to return. I directly took the bike to the workshop immediately (Vvc jubilee hills) and gave the bike back. I tried calling mr rajesh and there was not response to my calls. I sent a message and there is no response.

    When i spoke to the technician he says that the issue again is the same and hydraulics have to be replaced.

    My questions are:

    1. How many times will they replace hyderaulics and what is the next course of action.
    2. For a new bike why is this problem frequently repeating and should the engine / what ever parts be opened so many times. Is that what your royal enfield work ethics says
    3. Is this the quality / build of a motor cycle which comes out of your factory
    4. Should i be a victim for such a poor quality build when all others are happy with their bikes (Royal enfield)
    5. Are your technicians / staff trained to handle such issues
    6. Do you have proper controls in place to address such issues.

    I have come to a conclusion that a defective bike is delivered to me. Because your people are trying to put all the efforts to fix this starting from service 1, 2, 3, 4 and 1 paid service and still this issue is not resolved and it is reproducing again and again. Or your people are not properly trained / efficient to handle the issue and just giving my bike back after doing some minor jobs.

    Every 45 days my bike has to come to your workshop for a vacation of 5 days. It has spent more time with your workshop than with me.

    Please accept my personal suggestion which will help you.

    Please ask royal enfield to recall my bike (Or i am ready to donate it for free) and use this bike as a case study to help your technicians get expertise. I am sure you will be appreciated for doing so. Because you may not get such a bike (Which is fixed every-time i bring it to you and still the issue is reproduced)

    Do me a favor by getting a best deal for this bike.. I am ready to loose some money for choosing royal enfield.

    I promise that i will again buy a royal enfield but this time please help me in selecting a good bike. I have realized that my selection is wrong and i am not going to take that bike back be it whatever situation.

    The most funniest part is that i have received no calls from your dealer workshop / tsm till now since 13th about further course of action.

    Looking for a response for all the above 6 questions at least from you.

      I have buyed the bike re gun metal gray on 21st dec till the day condition was very good after 1 serviceof the same day i had bad condition on this bike curborater
      Blockage, play on acceleter just rider 12 kms my silencer got burn in to some extent and i came know tat later (Uploaded the photo of tat) so please tell reason fix the solution for the new bike which i have buyed

        Engine noises - i have been hearing some weird noises from engine since day 1. The technicians from royal enfield say the noises will disappear as i put on more and more kms in the odo meter. Currently the odo reading is 4200kms and i don't know how many more kms i have put on the odo to make the noises disappear. Also i have been hearing some knocking sound from primary chain case, to which royal enfield doesn't have any solution.

        Vibrations - i experience severe vibrations while riding around 80kmph. Literally i find it difficult to hold the handle. Till now no solution is provided for this issue.

        Final words
        Having experienced so much physical strain and mental agony in the last 2 to 3 months, i filed a complaint in consumer court against royal enfield company for selling me a defective vehicle and and against karnavati bikes (Dealer of enfield) motors for providing pathetic post sale service.

          Sir, i had given my royal enfield gunmetal grey for repair on 25 december 2017. But till they even started work on it. It is standing as i parked it. They just giving different different types of excuses. Please solve this problem immediately, i need it urgently
          My bike is latest model of royal enfield this is classic gunmetal grey 350
          They didnot ordered anything of my bike.
          I want that my problem should be solved immediately, because, i need it urgently

          I was talking about gunmetal grey i had given on 26th december on ajit motor at gurdaspur. They said they are not able for billing of my bike so tell me what should i do if you can help me then please help me. I brought it on 1st december of 2017 an accident happen on 25th of december and i submitted my bike on 26th of december for insurance claim but tell they are not able to pay bill of it parts. I need it urgently so please help me if you can. My bike insurance is full as well. They must do it faster

            Royal enfield bike spares quality was very very poor, no long life, the products and spares are not "made like a gun". Most of the spares are wearied short duration with less usage, even if you are new spares also..

            The corporate and their dealers are only looking out fuge profit only, not a quality of product, whether we are providing good quality of products to the customers or not the customers are really satisfied with their products, here i have seen to many complaints regarding to quality of product only, some of them faced issue in new bike also... Then

            Why you are mentioning in your brand bikes like “made like a gun”, if you made like gun means na, why too many issues and failures happened in your new bike as well as new changed spares also.

            So please avoid mentioning like "made like a gun", made like a gun, made like a gun.

            You are cheating your customers... With this statements.

            Why that clutch plate assembly was wearied in a short duration with less kilometers.

            We are believing that (All of your customers) royal enfield bikes are used for long life, the brand name,, low maintenance compare to other bikes even though maintenance cost will be high, quality of your product was good nu, but here it’s proved not like that.

              In aug i bouaght classic 500cc in which after 1 month ihave noticed pickup problem and i went to nearest service center in gudur they said clutch plates are gone and for replacing they asked 5000 ruppes and i said the warranty period is not completed then they said we will put order and the product will reach after 15 working days then i went back and they said order is pending and said to come after 30 working days after that they are saying go to nellore service center they are blaming custmors and no proper replay to us

              Have you seen in this site, Complaints raised around 1350 nos but they resolved only 49 complaints only... So my dear customers, please think before if you have any plan / before buying products from the Royal Enfield.

                Hi royal enfield team,

                Good day!

                This is apaajith r (Karthikeyan) from chennai, i am owned re. Thunder bird – 500 cc (Vehicle number: tn 06 j 9029 - stone black) since 2013.
                I have some engine more oil leakage and few more issue in my bike from last two weeks... So that to resolve this issue i went to aravinduja motors, kattupakkam, chennai.

                I have dropped my bike on 6 th of january 2017, when i dropped the bike, the service executive has confirmed me your bike will be ready by 8 th december 2017. But so far, the bike has not yet ready... They found the oil leakage was happened due to the clutch plate assembly was wearied, so that they called me for approval to replace the clutch plate assembly, i denied my approval for that, because i have changed that spare 4 months before only (On 5th of aug’2017).

                Then i asked to service executive, who called to for approval, please check out in history of service, recently i changed that spare, i don’t know, whether he checked or not, the executive blindly said, “sir, that spare was not changed nu”. Then, i have hard copy of my service history bills in my hand, then i ask him to check out on 5th of aug’2017, in the spare bill copy serial no:17, it’s their nu, then he found, yes sir, i got that nu. On 5th of aug’2017 i have changed the lot of spares; the changed spare bill amount was around rs. 17107.00 /- and labor charge was around rs. 4, 461. /-, even though after that, i have done few more services and complaint services in same show room only.

                I have asked couple of question to that executive, i changed it recently only why it’s wearied too early and i have used few kilometers only around 3000 km, he answered for few questions and he could n’t answered for few questions.

                Today, i have got call from showroom, one of sr. Executive was talk to me, sir, it’s because of your usage only it’s wearied nu, we have lengthy conversation regarding on this, i have asked the couple of question to sr. Executive, he said, we are following our aspects and rules here, we are not answerable for those question, you could check with corporate, they will answer for your questions.

                Here my questions,

                Firstly, i have couple questions to royal enfield corporate center and that service centre... (Aravinduja motors, kattupakkam, chennai)

                Questions to corporate.

                Question no: 1

                Firstly, have you authorized this service center... Or just they themselves put it we are authorized service center. If you are authorized means... How did you authorize this service center?

                Because, in their service invoice copy, they are mentioned only spare description name list and spare amount, they couldn’t put the manufacturing part number / part number and related to spare information’s, then how could we believe, whether they have changed the spare or not?
                If they are mentioned those details in bill na, it will be useful future reference and monitoring the same.

                This kind of protocol can be following in bajaj, honda, hero, tvs also, like mentioning mpn / pn in service bills, why you are not following?

                Question no: 2

                Why you are mentioning in your brand bikes like “made like a gun”, if you made like gun means, why that clutch plate assembly was wearied in a short duration with less kilometers.

                Have you following fmea?
                I would like to know history of that clutch plate assembly, like such as production batch no, casting / forging batch no, and machinery details and other info related to manufacturing operation process, if those details could be available / mentioned in that spare as well as all of you spares, why am asking this detail due to future reference and root cause of failures.

                Here i have a doubt, whether the service center could change that spare or not?

                Even, they are returning old spares also, just i known about this …. Have you following this protocol for future customer complaints like me?
                Because of this worst experience, am going to sharing / advising this info to my friends, colleagues, family members, relatives and your future customers.

                Questions to that service centre:

                Question no :1

                When we dropped the our bike for service, we are providing our complaints, have resolved those complaints or not?

                Because i have provided couple of complaints when i drop the bike but few of my complaints not yet resolved, after done the service, again i come to your show to resolve that complaints. It’s wasting my valuable time, every time i bring my bike two times to resolve my issues.

                Question no: 2

                In your service center... Have you follow the proper step by step procedures and service operations?

                If yes na, why all the complaints not arrested in first time of service?

                Question no: 3

                Why you are not mentioning complete spare details like such as part no / batch no, item no or other details in you service invoice bill?

                How could i believe you have you changed my spares truly or not, because that spare was wearied usage of less kilometers only around 3000 kms, earlier also i have changed that same clutch plate assembly, that i have used more than 9000 kms with same kind o[censored]sages.

                Question no: 4

                Have you done the servicing properly in first time, because the out mechanical shops / garages done the service better than your show room service. Because i have been using this bike since 2013, so far the engine oil leakages are not yet happened, once i went to your show room, i have been facing too many issues and problem in bike.

                Question no: 5

                If you are done properly na, even i could have this time also like making this complaint, writing out this info for your corporate reference.

                I mentioned wrong dates here, , 6 th of January 2018 am dropped my bike, they confirmed that bike will be ready by 8 th of January 2018.

                  Sales person at shri krishna automobiles mr akash made a fake promises of three years insurance and a discount of rs 10000 but after clearing the payment from bank he is now refusing to fullfill the commitment and the owner of the showroom is telling that his salesperson is right and we are saying wrong. I am very sorry to say that the prestigious name of royal enfield is being spoiled by the owner of the showroom. I am sorry to say this but now will not recommend any one to purchase from shri krishna automobiles. If you people really want to maintain your prestigious name i request you take action against the owner of shri krishna automobiles.

                    My name is abison abraham, iam big fan of royal enfield bullet. Sir iam buying a new bullet stantard 350 from sanjo motors, pulluvazhi (Perumbavoor), ernakulam (Dis) on 02/11/2017 after complete the first service then compilent begins my bullet such as overflow fuel, engine tappet sound. Iam allready told the service aduvicer to these complient but not repare my bike or not givesolution for these problem. Sir kindly solve the engine tappet noice plese.. These are complient maid my bike iam hate my dream bike pese help me sir

                    I buy a desert storm may 17 but not perfect give smoke please further assist and change replace my vehicle.

                      Had dropped my bike for paid service, after the bike was serviced, the below mentioned faults came up -:
                      1) silencer cap sound
                      2) speedometer not working
                      3) handle bar jammed while turning.

                      After the above mentioned problems were reported and again the bike was brought to be checked, mr. Guptha at sri velavan motors said the faults would be addressed, and gave the bike immediately, (Still speedometer was not replaced) but again as soon as the bike was taken out as per mr. Guptha everything was ok, now when took out the bike the same problem persists.

                      Request immediate resolution for this lacklustere and non responsive service.

                        Dear sir, i bought a new classic 350 bike from royal enfield in june 2016. Now it has covered a distance of 17000 km. Since last 2 days i am experience some slippage in chains with irritating sound and when checked it was found that some teethes of sprocket (Rear side) found in broken condition again, i have changed the chain spocket twice within 17000 kms i bought this bike for rs 1, 42000 + some attritional prices for accesories and for this cost it should give some minimum life to its parts. This is really disappointing and would surely like to highlight quality issues of spares in the bike, i think the low cost bikes available in the market will give more life to parts than this. I am completely unsatisfied with this. My bikes registration number is mh 12 nd 8148.. Please do the needful. Regards, mohsin shaikh pune

                          Hey, i just wanted to ask u that whats the minimum time to deliver a royal enfield standard 500 bs4 after booking date...
                          As i have booked the bike from ranjit motors rishikesh on 26/11/17 and i was assured that the bike would be delivered within 10 days and then from 11th day to this day, they are just making excuses.

                          So kindly tell me what should i do?
                          After having so bad experience dealing with you guys..
                          They are doing fraud to the customers..

                            I have royal enfield thunderbird 350cc since 16 months & i was faced battery related problem from 2 months, i replace new battery two times but due to some electric issue both the batteries are died, i also visit service center (Krishna) at indore and they assure me that problem had resolved with the charges of 660 rs but after two days the new battery had died. I am very annoying to purchase this kind of bike & very dissatisfied with customer services. I want the solution fast.

                            I brought classic 350 from Velavan Motor Pvt. Ltd, Greams Road, Chennai on 03.01.2018. Some rings sound and the beat sound from engine is high when i drive in city. My Question is the sound will be arrest in my first service or it is any manufacturing issue. Pls clear my doubt and tune my mind clear about your product.

                              I here after a long wait of my re classic 500. On the time of booking dealer said delivery will be done under 3 months now 3 months completed but not delivered. Between these three month i am continuously in touch with the dealer they first give a date but on or before date they didn’t give any information i again contacted they again extend and gave a another date but same behave as in earlier case.
                              Customer handling is very poor they didn’t give a satisfactory answer. They told me to submit all payment to get a quick response for delivery i did same but not get delivery.

                              If they are unable to deliver then why should they required full payment it’s seems like a trap that customer once trapped after that do your own.

                                I bought the bike before one year. I done all the services correctly. Bike i used to drive is himalayan royal enfield. A lots of complaints i could found after being serviced. Mainly battery failure suddenly bike got stopped in traffic. And also the slow speed running suddenly stops my vehicle. I could not able to run this vehicle at town. Then the speedometer not working. Feed up with this bike. I need a replacement of new re himalayan bike.

                                Service centers peoples come to visit the bike . They told that stating coil may damaged . How can a bike starting coil get damaged before 1 year ????
                                Sir it is mathura service station...i want u tell that there is no time system...no system of bikes ...they do their service according to their references...and i am waiting from last 4 hours even there no so much bikes to serve ...there is no proper support system...plss pay attention...m very dissappointed

                                  I've own new Royal Enfield classic 350cc 2017, just in 3668 km they asked me to change chain rear, oil change and oil filter. But they charged for all, just being a consumer my question was how in 3000km the chain rear to be changed, not even in 10000km. Also they changed/top updated the oil for 2nd time and overall they charged 1572/- for servicing. It was not covered in free service coupon.

                                    I've been looking for a battery cover for my enfield electra 350cc 2011 model, till now they don't have the cover and advised that they sent an email to enfield factory but no response yet.

                                      I booked a royal enfield in september from royal enfield company store jayanagar from person name shantha-sales executive. But due to non availability of adhar card loan got rejected and i booked bike in wife name by cancelling my booking. The person who came to collect the booking amount wrongly took the account details and cheque came in november with my name but wife account. Again i submitted for correction with person name shantha he made me wait for 15 days and again the cheque hasn't come. One another guy from accounts said the cheque was wrongly send to hyderabad and that's the delay. His number is [protected]. He istelling me i am calling you first time and i promise you i will give on tuesday final. And today is tuesday no cheque nothing. He just picks my call and says rubbish.

                                      Helo sir i purchased electra befor 7 months and i m facing rear suspention problem is that bikes rear suspention is jumping becaus of pump is not working well thats why its problem coming and i m facing back pain from that rear suspention pls resolve and replace me new my bike is in warranty
                                      No response even after multiple email and calls.already i waiting in last 1 months.but they don't response.and not pickup my cell.

                                        Booked a bike at kalpetta showroom, (Wayanad. Kerala), when i went there to receive the bike at said date, they postponed the date of delivery and today is the date. Again i went there,,, again they postponed the delivery date. This is not fair. Also their behaviour to customers are very poor. We don't have another showroom near that's why we go there to buy the bike. They are delivering the bike to their favourite people first.
