Dear sir/madam, i bought a new classic 350 bike from royal enfield in december 2016. Now it has covered a distance of 1300km. 2 days before when i was riding the bike, there found some slippage in chains with sound and when checked it was found that 25 teethes of sprocket (Rear side) found in broken condition. I bought this bike for rs 1, 54, 000 and for this cost it should give some minimum life to its parts. I think the low cost bikes available in the market will give more life to parts than this.     I own a royal enfield electra 350 cc bike that was purchased from teknik motors,
    After my previous complaint issue got resolved soon my sincere thanks to the forum team,
    I am facing a similar problem this time as well, below are the details,

    I met with an accident in bangalore after which my bike was heavily damaged, i left my bike for repair and service on 20-sep at tecknik motors service...

    And to think, i was waiting for close to 17 years to get this right.

    It was the year 2000 when i bought the first second hand re to fulfill my quest. I am not a biker by heart, but surely love good things.

    Sadly, i had to contribute to buying a family maruti van and hence had to return the vehicle. Since then, one esteem, one xylo and couple of houses and farmhouse, but had not been able to prioritize buying a re because i did not see a lot o[censored]tility.

    So, when i crossed 40 yrs and looked back, i realized, this was one of my bucket lists, and hence decided to wait for something new. And there appeared himalayan.

    But it was a more himalayan task achieving it.

    I booked at sarabhai motors, twice, one on a personal quota (Jignesh vasavada) around first week of june.

    Second, my mom-in-law decided to gift me one on her csd account (Nalinee r chaudhari) on june 27th.

    The bikes were not available due some re-vamping. I understand, it happens. I was committed 15 days to a month. I said ok, my mom's birthday was on july 27th.
    Nothing happened.

    Next i assumed, august 12th (My son's birthday).
    Nothing happened. All the while, i was calling up, no one was informing me.

    Then my birthday came 10th september.
    Nothing happened. Still no clarity, someone said 15 days some said one month.

    Next was dussera.
    Nothing happened. Still, i am calling, and no one informs in advance.

    Finally, pre-diwali i am promised a bike. An availibility certificate is issued. And then another struggle with the red-tapism of csd canteen begins.

    Finally, a po is issued on november 7th and promptly submitted to sarabhai motors.

    Now nothing happens.

    Yet again, only i follow up, no updates keep coming in.

    Now for the past 24 hrs even the phone calls are not answered.

    I understand, i am a single customer not capable of doing anything to a royal brand like yours,

      We booked royal enfield on june 19th and till now there is no sign of delivery.
      They told that bike will be delivered by duserha and then they committed to deliver by deepavali and latest november 1st week now they updated me that they can only deliver end of month. Not sure till how days they are going to drag and believe they are giving vehicles to their close people first.
      We already paid a booking amout of 5000 rupees

        Hy this is ashwin. V from chennai.
        My bike enfield 350 classic tn 09 cj 7913
        Have battery fault at the beginning it self. I gave to service center for that fault they recharged the battery and gave it back.. Then i gave to another service center. They hold the classic 350 for 12 days and said that company checked and said there is no fault. Bt self start is not at all working.. They said that i[censored] want go and buy no battery.. And said that dont come to this place for this battery fault again.. I have 1 yr warranty but its about 5 months only my bike has been broughted.. Worst enfield service. I feel totally waste for buying this bike

          poor quality chain and sprocket

          Hi,

          I'm ananthu ganesh residing at trivandrum, kerala. I have a royal enfield classic 350 which has done 40, 000 kilometers. Unfortunately i had to change the chain and sprocket set thrice at regular intervals. I had a look at the chain and sprocket today and 6 of the teeth's have completely worn out. I took the motorcycle to the nearest service centre and they told me that this is due to poor lubrication. I wash the bike...

          I am here and hoping to get a remedy/rectification for my problem and am mentally down because of this serious issue.
          I purchased royal enfield himalayan - granite (Tn 12 r 5122) on 25/12/2016. Its not been a year but stuck up so many times in the mid of the road and lost my interview becuase of this issue.
          Issue in my bike
          1. Coil (Magnitude, relay) problem - first break down at mid of the road at less than 2500kms, i was breakdown because i spent nearly rs. 1.80lakhs for the bike and none came for the help and i took tata ace for the amount of rs.1800/- (Note - anna nagar southern motors where i purchased my bike was closed due to some issues) to chrompet workshop and they done a good job and spoke to royal enfield service manager mr. Bharath - trichy division (Got through some contacts) and within next two days again my bike got stuck up in the mid of the road and again spent rs. 1500/- for towing to chrompet showroom and next two days my bike was ready.
          (When this incident happens within 2500kms in the mid of the road called for a toll free service - the person cme and done nothing and tld to take this vehilce to showroom only but he demanded for rs. 800/- and i paid rs. 300/- on request - proof with me - worser situation than anything)

          2. Handle bar complaint - the kms around 5000kms the next problem aroused that it was so so hard and tighten handle bar complaint and rectified in the same service center chrompet and also they changed my clutch becuase i was suffering from harden gear shifting problem also.

          3. Runned peacefully for next 2500kms totally (8000kms) again coil problem aroused and stuck up in the mid of the road (Note - where my brother newly wedded couple were riding and that became my ferocious day because they stucked up in thiruvanmiyur late night).
          This time i am not ready to take this vehicle to chrompet (Note - my place iyyapanthangal but actually am going from this place to chrompet for 18 kms far away because the reason behind was we took another two enfield - himalayan granite & thunderbird in chrompet showroom meanwhile annanagar showroom was closed as earlier mentioned)

          Because i dont want to spend other thousands for this purpose and took to nearest kattupakkam service last week with the help of local mechanic and again they said coil problem and took 3 to 4 days to ready and check. And i took after 4 days from the service center.

          Runned for another a week again got a complaint (Dated 06/11/17) in self start, indicators not working (Service enginer telling like fungus formed in electricals) and still in service cnter for the past four days for proper verfiy and check up.

          I will update my last job card for the reference and other details in the royal enfield computer feed (Manufactring defects and changes), if want any proof am ready to give that.

          Still i dont want to take up risk for long rides and still i dint go anywhere out of chennai. Am afraid to ride late night inside chennai itself. I was lost thousands and thousands becuase of this bike where i spent around rs. 1.80lakhs.

          Not worth for money and made me depressed in my life, career and in everything.. Pls pls help getting rid of this and get me proper response and replacement.

          My last complaint job card is attached and let me know u want other proof or my complaint was registered in the service book which it was attached with chrompet and kattupakkam royal enfield service.

          Pls pls pls help me out and want replacement because i lost my lakhs for the bike and un necessary spent thousands and thousands weekly for the new bike which not even touched 9000kms..

            Iam john sujay, i tried to give my vehicle classic 350 at this service centre (Service center address : s v motors, 3-6-311, opp:govt. Iti, mulugu road, warangal, telangana, india. Pin code-506002) where i experienced very irresponsible service providers at the service station.. They have not take the vehicle for 6 times and the reasons were pathetic like oil is not available, service boys are on leave. They are not even addressing the customers well. They havent offered a chair to sit and discuss but used to say that come tomorrow. One employee who is receiving the vehicle is not even considering abt my problem.. Try resolve the issue as soon as possible and atleast send them a memo that should certainly make them realise and would not effect the other customers to come..               Hello all,
              I booked a royal enfield classic 500 (Stealth black colour) (First i booked a classic 350 gun metal, later on i revised my booking seeing the demo classic 500 bike) in october 2017, at the time of booking they (Marvel autobikes, ranchi, jharkhand) told me that it will be delivered by first week of november 2017, few days back i visited the showroom as it was promised to me, i asked for the manager as he was dealing with me from day 1 but he was not at the showroom after that the other sales staff asked me the reason of my visit, i told them, the checked my booking in there register and told me that the bike will delivered to me by he end of the month (November 2017), i asked them to call the manger as i wanted to talk to him, he came after some time and what he told was shocking, he told me that they will deliver the bike in january 2018 as there is no production of that segments. Later on he talked to his area sales manger and he also told the same thing. I asked him that where is the bike you had as a demo bike in your showroom they told me that they have sold that bike, i asked the manger that i requested you to give me that bike at that time you gave the reason that it is for display not for sale and now you have sold that bike.. He replied notthing and smiled as if he was teasing me. Marvel autobikes is a new dealership of royal enfield in ranchi but i suppose they are selling every thing except the bike. Later on i asked him that why he promised me to give the delivery in november 2017 he again smiled and said that he expected that he could, i asked him why he didn’t informed me on phone that he will not be able to deliver the bike in november 2017, he again smiled and replied nothing later on he got up and went to his back office and never returned. I have asked them for the refund but it seems like it will also take months to recover, it was my first worst experience in and automobile dealership.

                I purchased classic 350 about 2month ago and till now completed only 1 service, now suddenly today my bike handel getting vibrate and gaurd shockups to makeing noise in holes n speed breaks, i never used my bike rough or ride and was shock to see the result wht i am geting in 2months and now if i go to show service center they are ready to make adding huge bills for this too sory i wont pay any single charges for this and keep bike as it is and mark mail n highlights on socail media with the worst issue in 1month i din expected this for royal enfield bikes atleast, please need reasult for this mail as soon as possible

                  On 28th of october 2017 i got my desertstorm serviced from south delhi motors delhi. Yesterday while riding i saw that the right hand side cabinet of air filter was open and the lock was not there. Is this my fault or the service center's fault?? They changed the air filter and other things on my bikes 5th paid service amd charged me more than 7000 rs. When i went to the service center they syltarted arguing stating that this was not a fault of theirs and it has to do something with my way of riding. On top of that they said that i might be lying. Apart fron this lock set there was another nut that was missing which was the one for the leg gaurd. Another thing was that i changed break pads on 28th but the brakes were not working this was confirmed by one of their representatives. Still instead of apologizing they didn't had any regrets about the pathetic services they are providing. Because of this silly mistakes i had to buy a new common key set and they charged 1650 rs for that. I want that money refunded to me and strict actions taken against them.

                      Hi,

                      I have given my bike for battery exchange on 31st oct 2017 which i haven't got delivered yet. I have already escalated about this issue (Complaint id: ccshoc[protected].

                      Today the service centre has sent me sms saying bike is serviced and is ready for delivery, and when i called the centre they are saying it is not ready yet.

                      Now this is completely intolerable and i want to escalate it to higher level.

                      Let me know whom to contact orelse i will go to consumer court against royal enfield for providing license to such useless service providers.

                      I bought my Thunderbird in 1st week of August 2016. Right from the beginning I am facing problem like: While driving, my bike gets cut of or started giving Jerk like camel. I have taken my bike to showroom many times but again suffer with same problem I am From Nashik and request you to look into the Matter.

                        Very very worst suspension, even after multiple service at royal enfield (Velachery). Heavy noise observed. I have send rs.12500 in last service. Still all problems remain same. Handle bar hinge heavy vibration and jolting noise.

                        We all thing re bike can be used for long drive, comfort & good suspension but its not true. Not really worth for the selling price.

                          Hi, we booked up a bike royal enfield in cherry colour at sangam motors, sahibabad, ghaziabad which was ensured to us on time delivery within one & a half month but it has been 2 month & 10 days. We haven't received any delivery of the bike & even then the manager asked us for rs. 20000 extra to deliver the bike after the assigned time. The dealer we talked up with is kamal and the area manager is gagan. We're supposed to receive the bike prior to marriage in family & the dealer isn't delivering it to us even after assigned time.

                          My name is rashid, please look into the matter asap.

                          I bought royal enfield bullet 350 last year. Twice i Have given it to ALLIED AUTO AGENCIES(6-B, Niranjanpur, near mandi chowk, Dehradun) for the above said problem. But their mechanics aren't able to solve the problem. Service quality of ALLIED AUTO AGENCIES is worst. My contact no. is [protected]. If your engineers aren't able to fix the problem then it may be a manufacturing fault!!! so pls replace my bike otherwise i may go to consumer forum. Forward to you for early necessary action.

                            I purchased royal enfield standard dated[protected], from the the first day i am facing the issue of tapping sound i visited again to the showroom from where i buyed the bullet which is allocated at ulhasnagar no -3 from sr motors. But till date i completed 3 services but still the irritating tapping sound is present every time when i visit the service center and explain about the problem to the manager they give me a reply that ok we will rectify the issue but not yet a got a solution for the same.

                            I request you that if the issue is not getting resolved, kindly keep the bike with you and reimburse me my amount of bike.

                              This is jatin sapariya. I have purchased new royal enfield classic 350 (Reddich red) on 19/10/2017 from sarabhai motors, nehrunagar, ahmedabad.

                              From the very first day we are facing a problem i. E. An annoying and abnormal sound is coming from the engine. Further for the solution we have visited the authorized service center karnavati bikes - royal enfield service center, near hotel royal inn, ishwar complex, opposite gurukul towers, drive in road, ahmedabad, gujarat 380052 on 03/11/2017. (Job card no. 006033) they have inspected the engine and inform that there is a issue in engine of the bike and they are requesting us to get open the engine and repair the same. We have contacted with service manager mr. Aditya singh ([protected]) and as recommended by him we have further contacted with territory service manager mr. Maulik upadhyay ([protected]) but, they have also suggest the same.

                              After that we have informed the same to our dealer sarabhai motors (Ground floor, sukhdham tower, beside bikanerwala, surendra mangaldas road, nehru nagar, ahmedabad, gujarat 380015). But he is not at all interested in the matter.

                              But, after paying 1, 53, 000/- we are not supposed to repair a new bike. Hence we are requesting you to please change the bike with the new one or else refund the money.

                              We are very much unsatisfied with the service provided by the royal enfield.

                              Please look into this matter and resolve the same at earliest. Hoping best possible revert from your side

                                I mr. Ashok s. Gole, i have sent my vehicle for servicing dated 23/10/2017 they charged me rs.3600/- after 6 days there was a breakdown on saturday, after that i called the service center for the pickup on sunday. After receiving the vehicle after two days i again faced the same problem i. E on 1st nov, 2017 wednesday again it is been sent to the service center dated[protected]. And before this i have already change the display and battery two times and now they are again demanding rs.6000 for display and rs.3000 for battery which is already in warranty. Before this i have faced the same problem. As on date the problem is not solved properly and excuses are been given. The distributor is always prompting to change spares with new one and make fool of innocent customers. They have mentally disturbed me. It's been 2 yrs this november since i bought the vehicle and till date the problem is not solved. I request you to kindly take some action.

                                  I am ramamurthi at sriperumpudur. I am booked thunder bird lightning at jetblaze motors kanchipuram (24th august 2017)
                                  I will pay full payment 1st november 2017.
                                  Still now i don't see bike. Payment giving before, he inform to me bike is ready. Payment give and take your bike. Payment giving after, he inform to me bike two days after only reach our show room. So next week only possible. He too much cheating me. Today friday, i ask showroom person please return my money no need bike. He inform to me, bike is available. I send registration. Too much lie. He don't receive any id proof to me then how registration, i don't know.

                                    I am sending this mail because, i really fed up with your service. I had bought a royal enfield standard bullet on june16 2017 from sanjo motors karukutty. I think this is the worst bike i ever used. When i started it in the rain, it will not be started. Even if it is started it showing continues missing. Because of this reason i had visited service centre 8 times. All this time they talled me everything is fixed. But the problem still persist. Is this the way to treat the costumer. Really fed up. Waste of money. That's why i moving this complaint.
