I brought a new royal enfield 3 months back from hyd and gave it to a second service with reporting a complaint "noise from engine".

This is what i faced :

I gave it to service centre in sanathnagar, hyd on 22/9/17 friday morning and waited for 5 days to get it repaired. I visited three time within these 5 days and i hear no clue of what happening
When i contacted floor manager next day second time he said he need confirmation from showroom and it will be repaired by monday (25/9/17). No its not, ok they had some issues internally and called me & said please collect it tuesday.

Tuesday :i didn't received any call or intimation of what happening & when i myself gone to check and noticed it was not repaired, here #. Manager came and telling that he need to contact chennai factory and people are coming to check and test your bike. After that they will start working on and after let me know how much time it will be take to get it done. Centre is not responding with the issue in time and not explaining me what is happening.

This is how you treat your customers, don't you know how to respond to customers and you royal enfield branding with 100 years of experience can't solve a issue within 5 days of time. I really very very disappointed with you brand & services.

I need an immediate actions to be taken or i will move with norms and conditions with in regulations.

    Hi,

    In spite of several complains about the services to concern in charge mr. Veera goud - [protected]. Territory manager and customer care center nothing happened. I have bought a bullect 350 classic, from the first servicing it self
    They are not doing anything just chaining the engine oil and giving vehicle back
    After regular follow up they are even ready to hit the customer.

    Please let me know how to take issue forward

      I am writing this email to inform you abouth the pathetic working of royal enfiled service centre. My last complaint regarding water entering headlight is still pending even after continuous follow-up with support team as well as voyage work shop jogeshwari east. Yet royal enfield is not bothered to solve their consumer's grievances.

      Today (24/09/2017) after going to royal enfield workshop, they checked water entering the headligt by pouring mug of water on it? Is this the way to check quality of headlight? For every complaint (Installing of leg guard, sound due to damage of rubber put in handle; showing quality of rubber/ improper installation during servicing, headlight problem) i have to visit to work shop for 3-4 times.

      Is this the kind of support you offer. We have only been going through harassment after buying this bike. It has caused loss of money and more importantly loss of our valuable time. We had high regards for royal enfield but now we only have regrets.

      Your customer support is absolutely useless just like the bike. We do not recommend any person to buy royal enfield from now.

      You have now compelled us to take firm steps against you. As you are incapable of solving our problems, reimburse our money for the bike (Including registration, services, insurance) and take away your bike. Also we need compensation for the harassment you have caused us. We are also going to upload our grievances against royal enfield in all the social platforms available to make the people aware of the degraded quality you are offering.

      During rainy season, i came to know water entering headlight - informed same to jvlr work shop.in-spite of reporting issue they cleaned the water and gave me the bike. I have observed the water was still going inside the headlight. Took photo of it and showed them the problem. They asked me to take video if next time water penetrate inside so that they can claim for the change of headlight. Even after 10 day of sending video they are not taking steps to solve the problem. (Quality of royal enfield, service of authorized dealer, harassment for customer)

      Authorized dealers and service center are doing such kind of nuisance of cheat and harassing the customer. Even after paying a huge amount of money we are getting bad quality product and bad quality services. I want a written justification for all my problem. If i am not getting answer for all my raised question, good quality product, proper service or harassment by authorized royal enfield service provider in future, i will post all my problem on social media to make people aware about the third grade quality or degrading quality of royal enfield and a torturing nature of dealers and service provider.

      I have not notified for the process change to get the vehicle service by BTM stage 2 service center... i suffered today because of them ...i went at 7 in morning to drop the vehicle but they denied to take it... and asked me to book an appointment ...this is not exceptable ...

        I have bought thundirbird 350 from ss motors showroom situated in kannur in january 2017, due to some complain in rear wheel i gave it for maintainance in their service center situated in thottada, the manager have asked to me to get the rim change, for that i have to pay 1800 rs. 1200 is the cost of new rim and 600 for labour charge, now i want to ask, since my bike is under warrenty period then why should i pay the labour charge?

          I booked royal enfield classic (Reddish black) on 22/06/17 at pinnnacle royal enfield, puzhakkal padam, guruvayur road, poonkunnam, thrissur-680002. Till date i haven't received the bike. They asked me give full payment.
          14th september i give full payment. Two times i enquired about the status but l had a bad experience from your representative mr nijil. Please do the needful

            Hi everyone,

            I got my vehicle classic 350 on may 28th 2017

            The issue started on the first week with the sound and the pick up. I went to service station and they told they cannot do anything about the sound and the pick up with improve more i drive.

            First service in 20 days. No improvement in the vehicle. The next issue their was a crack in the wind pipe which was resolved by the service station and i had go to service station 3 times for this. The pick is the same and the vehicle doesn't go over 80km/hr.

            I had gone to the service stration 6 times regarding this issue and the carbon smell coming from the engine and they are not find the issue and solve it.
            The vehicle doesnt go over 80, pick up is very bad, handling is bad, carbon smell from the engine and many more.

            I really don, t know what to do, can any please advice on this.in the past 4 months i have been to service 7 times and no one cares a #.

            Please help me out.

              Today i got the delivery of my classic 350 and just after filling the fuel and riding 4 kms i saw that air pipe of carborator was leaking very badly and when i again started my bike it did not started however after the machines of the company saw the car orator he told me that it is faulty and he could not do anything for that it is needed to be changed,

                I have bullet classic 500cc with me. I am from rohtak and i have submitted my vehicle hr 12 t 8602 with badhwar agency in rohtak on 7/9/2017 for servicing. I have mentioned all my vehicle's problem in job card.

                On the same day i got a call from agency that ur vehicle is ready. When i approached there they told me that sir test drive need to be conducted, u have to collect it tomorrow.

                Next day i. E on 8/9/2017 i got a call at around 11 a. M that my vehicle is ready, i again approached their but after enquiry i came to know that the service manager has not even referred job card while servicing.

                The main problem with my vehicle is leakage of fuel, this is the main reason behind servicing.

                This is such a shame for a reputed company like royal enfield.

                One more thing i hv submitted my feedback on same day i. E 8/9/2017
                To the supervisor on feedback form. They not even submitted the feedback to upper authority. I am also attaching the photo of feedback that i have taken on 8/9/2017. This behavior is truly unsatisfactory and only be called as a blackspot for such a reputed company.

                I hope that company would cater this matter seriously and continuous customer harassment is very unfortunate.

                Hope my complaint will go further and properly answered

                    Bullet break down within 20 days from delivery
                    Royal enfield being a good brand well known in the market so i decided to go for royal enfield bullet classic 350 black in colour and accordingly booked the same in the month of april 2017 and it was delivered to me on 21/08/2017 from saini motors margao, south goa, as chasis no. Me3u3s5c1hh964367, engine no. U3s5c1hg561040 and was registered as ga-08-al-1545 at rto margao. Further, the said bullet;
                    Main issues related to enfield bullet
                    • bullet break down within 20 days from delivery
                    • purchased on 21/08/2017:
                    • first servicing done on 04/09/2017 with 520 kms meter reading and
                    • breakdown on 12/09/2017 with 830 kms meter reading.

                    Brief facts
                    That i have done my first serving on 04/09/2017 at 520 kms at saini motors margao and handed over the said bullet to me after doing the 1st servicing and for the same they have charged rs. 2500/-. I was completely assured that the said bullet has been crossed from the hands of expert service advisor to expert mechanic and than back to expert service advisor before handing over the same to me.
                    That after first servicing i. E on. On 12/09/2017 while i was riding the said bike in normal speed it suddenly got breakdown and there was major damages to the said bike and as result the bike was not in condition to move on the road and accordingly i contacted the saini motors and they instructed me to bring the said bike to showroom. So i accordingly hired mini pick up and took the said bike to the show room and incurred expenditure of rs. 1000/- for transport said bike to showroom.
                    That i also like to inform you that i had paid my hard earn money to get the said royal enfield bullet classic 350 bike and i also sold my earlier bike assuming that i will use the royal enfield bullet daily to travel to my work place and resident and due to the breakdown of the said royal enfield bullet classic 350 bike for last more than ten days i am left without a bike and hence had to take bike on rental basis of rs. 500 per day and great inconvenience is caused to me on account of the said breakdown of the bike
                    The said royal enfield bullet classic 350 bike is lying in saini motros showroom from 12/09/2017 till date and there is no any response from the saini motors nor from the head office of enfield bullet. The said royal enfield bullet classic 350 bike is lying in the show room in the same condition by seeing the circumstances and condition of said royal enfield bullet classic 350 bike it appears that the said royal enfield bullet bike is defective and it also appears that there are some mechanical as well as technical defects in the said royal enfield bullet classic 350 bike
                    In view of above i kindly request you to take necessary action at your end and deliver me a bike called branded royal enfield bullet classic 350 bike and not defective royal enfield bullet classic 350 bike and i also request you to maintain the quality of brand because the brand is the matter otherwise it will not take more time to fall from peak to bottom. You have also failed to maintain customer trust to the brand.
                    Lastly i request you to do the needful or otherwise i will approach to consumer court for necessary remedy.

                      I have purchased classic 350 on 08 aug 17 from merlin's royal enfield shillong. But it is very unfortunate to say it was not registered in rto shillong till 17 sep 17 by showroom where as it a process of just 7-10 days. As per indian motor act temp regs is valid for 1 month and it is illegal to drive vehicle without registration. Merins enfield shillong irresponsible behavior in customer support is really disheartening, i don't understand why they have not done their job timely and on asking they are giving silly excuses like their was a link problem in rto etc etc...

                        I am shriniwas hingne, residing at kothrud suburb of pune.
                        The exhaust noise of the royal enfield bullet motorcycles is obnoxious and intolerable by most, except the owners of the same. There should be strict check on every motorcycle delivered from its showrooms for this purpose. Also, there should be noise pollution check of these vehicles at regular intervals.
                        The silencers of these motorcycles are invariably altered (Since the possibility of doing so exists) by most of the owners. The number of such miscreants is increasing alarmingly day by day.
                        Please let common public know through your advertisements / regular publications in the leading newspapers what type of complaints they can raise against these errant owners and where the same can be registered for effective punishment.

                          I gave my classic 350cc vehicle for servicing at9.20am on 19/09/2017 in ahuja enterprises dehradun servicing center for first free service. They forgetted to do service to my vehicle and i went to servicing center at evening 7p m. They simply did water service to my vehicle and they gave my vehicle to me with out doing any service. I am not satisfing for service given by ahuja enterprises. They also collected servicing fee around 780 rupees from me. Please take action against them. Customer satisfaction is very important for any company

                            Showroom workers &manager are charging more then the actual price and even they also charging some customers for free products like helmets and rms
                            They told customers that assoceries are complsory and even they doesn't gave the bill of those accoseries
                            They don't attend coustomers in proper way they are treating like we are going to buy a fish they don't know how to talk someone

                              Hi, i bought a new 500 bullet back in january 2017. I have had the same problem with the rear brake.
                              I told the re service center that i was not happy with the rear brake being very snatchy and making a horrible sound every time i braked. The dealer kept assuring me it was just brake dust in the drum. I accepted this rexcuse up until last week when the rear wheel locked up at speed, it was a miracle that i managed to keep the bike upright and stay on it.
                              On examining the brake myself after this had happened, i realised the rear brake cam bush was fixed permanantly to the brake plate with hardened paint. The rear brake cam bush should be able to move when the two nuts and bolts are slackened off to allow for centralisation of the brake shoes. I suspect a lot of bullets have left the factory with this problem and this needs to be addressed before someone has a nasty accident or gets killed. The swing arm and brake plate were bent and had to be replaced by a private motorcycle mechanic., from what i have been reading on a lot of forums regarding the problems with the new re's, i have now lost all confidence in re and its service centres. I would just like to add that i have owned three classic re bullets over the past 25 years without any problems and feel the quality of the product has gone downhill.

                                I had purchased my bike in 2014 desert storm 500 cc and recently i had done service, after which my bike engine used automatically stop with no reasons i told thm about this problem and it happened after servicing and at the day of service i told about there fault they told petrol tank is empty fill it it will be ok i did nothing happened than he told there is fault in batttery i chnged the battery thn also my problem was not solved thn he told just ride ir after few days it will be ok but after somedays whn i was travelling to mumbai my bike engine stopped workin the fuel pump was not letting the petrol pass away i called them 3 times for breakdown and i paid 3 times breakdown charges but then also my problem isnt still solved on this day 18/09/2017 i went to them as my bike was with them for 2 weeks and still did nothing and they were just asking money for parking, those fools dont have any brain all they need is money i had paid 1800 rs during breakdowns and they have been changing parts for no reasons i think now. They never look for customer problems all they do is take money and do nothing now what they say is my fuel pump is gone. My point is all this happened at the day of collecting my bike from servicing but they are not ready to accept there mistake. Complaining in factory gives no solution because i had complaint before and there was no solution to my problem. The person who only talks and do no work his name is deva who used to come during breakdown
                                But i put my faith in royal enfield company please look after my problem and find a way because its been now 2 month only money has gone but no work done i hope so you find a way out to my problem

                                  Hi, i am having 500cc desert storm and i have serviced my bike on regular intervals as defined by company. I have serviced my bike last time on 21800 km approx. And now it is around 23000 km and i observed some tik tik noise from engine. When i visited the service centre (Outer delhi, najafgarh), found that there is no engine oil, so the bike is making some noise. There is no leakage in engine and no smoke presence. Now from last two days my bike is in service centre and no result is there that how could be it happen only in 1500 kms. If i should be 1 or 2 days late than there were chances of engine cease and now service centre is having no answers. Now i want the full analysis of this issue and what action company is going to take as i am sure that they had forgot to replace the engine oil in last service as in 2nd last service they forgot a clamp in disc brake.
                                  If company is not going to take any action, than i think i have to go for consumer court for better solution. My bike registration no. Is dl 1sz 9000.

                                    I bought bullet es on sep 1 2017 from teknik motors bangalore. 1 week before the bike stopped in between ride and refused to start. Had to push all the way to house. Later fuel started leaking. Had to use towing service to get the bike to service centre. All this happened for brand new bike after 2 weeks o[censored]sage. Please mebtion as to what will be the actionnfrom your side regarding this. I have completely lost the reliability on the bike

                                      Hi,

                                      I ride 5k kilometers and completed 3rd free servicing recently at sanathnagar service center.

                                      After 3rd servicing, had lot of issues and went 3 times to service center but still problem was not rectified. I got a call from rf support center, told the same later got a call from sanathnagar manager (Sardar) and he told me i will do but he didn't take care properly. I spend half of the day after 3 weeks at service center. This is not the way to treat the customer and very disappointed. Please take necessary action and repair my vehicle properly

                                        I had given my desert storm (Kl& cd2797) for service on 25th august 2017 to a service center in kochi and when i went to collect the bike on 27th august, the service technician took the bike for a test ride and came back and told me that the petrol tank is empty. (I do not leave my bike below reserve level) as the staff very polite and helpful so i told i will fill the petrol from the pump very close to the service station. They gave an me empty water bottle and i brought the petrol and was put in the bike.
                                        I took the bike to the next petrol station which is only one kilometer but the bike stopped after 100 meter. I left the bike there locked and came back to the service station and informed the technician. The technician told me that this is because of the shortage of petrol and it required minimum 2.5 liter or it will show like this. They used a term called "missing" they even told me if you have any issues like this bring it back for a check. I filled the petrol for rs.500 and took the bike home.
                                        The same day evening i left for a trip with my family for 10 days. When i came back after the trip and took the bike to go out it was giving the same problems it had happened when i took the bike from the service station after the service "missing". I managed to ride the bike till service station which is 4 kms from my residence.
                                        The same technician had a look bike and informed me that it may take some more time and will give a call alter.
                                        They called me after 2 days saying there is problems with the fuel pump and need replacement and pump may cost more than rs.16000. (Sixteen thousand only) and i have to pay for that. I told them this has happened because of your negligence and i had to suffer your mistake. If this had to happened before the bike was bought for service i would have surely accepted but this has happened right after the bike services and happened right in front of you people. But they were not ready to accept.
                                        They were finding excuse like the servicing of the bike is not done regularly which is also not true, i had done all the 5 services on time and it just crossed 2 years and 3 months with 10250 kilometer (Ten thousand two hundred fifty only)
                                        They were insisting me to take spare parts or nothing else can be done. I was requesting them to make my bike running condition like i gave it you but i have not got any response.
                                        It is very clear that this has happened during the service as the technician said there is water content in the petrol tank and they told me that it might have been from the small hole which is on the petrol tank for the easy flow of the petrol. If the water content is because of that reasons then it might be manufacturing defects.
                                        The attitude of the staff are very good but they are unprofessional, i had the similar experience earlier also, after buying the bike i had noticed that there was oil leak from the bike and i had to take the bike to the service station for 4 times for the same complains. After the service they will give me an invoice saying that oil top and for oil seal change. Only after the 4th services this was rectified.
                                        My bike is still lying at the service station. Please do the needful to get the issues rectified at the earliest.
