dissatisfaction of service from saraighat riders

Dear sir. On 12.09.2017 i have given my bike (As 01 bk 6902) at around 2pm for normal check up (Brake shoe change) but as per job card slip it was given committed to deliver at 12 am (13.09.2017) but very sorry to say that it delivered at 6pm. Which made me unsatisfactory. And made me unhappy.

Dear sir,

This is to bring to your kind notice, my problem is continuing from the first service of my byke ie; in march '2017 still today service engineers are making false commitments and some engineers contact numbers and they are not bother to look into the matter. As provided, i have contacted on of their service manager mr. Mani prabhat, he assured to sort my problem. But even today, he also not bothered to solve

Now i think i have wasted my valuable money for purchase of royal enfield byke.

    Dear team,

    I have purchased royal enfield classic 350 in aug 2016 and have done 6500 kms. I have done all services on time. It is single hand driving with utmost care and concern. My vehicle developed pick up issue last month and when i showed the vehicle to royal enfield authorized service centre at whitefield, they said, there is no issue with regard to clutch plates and adjusted the clutch lever saying it was tight. There was no problem fro few weeks and again vehicle developed the pick up issue. I took it an other auhorized service centre i. E. Sai ram autocraft and they said that clutch assembly need to be replaced.

    My vehicle is just 1 year old with 6500 kms done. How is it possible to lose the clutch assembly. I have driven two wheeler for decades and never used to get this issue at all. Sai ram autocraft have replaced the new clutch assembly set and charged me 3150/- in addition to all other regular charges of inr 2990/- (Total 6140)/- dated 09-09-17. Invoice no. Slinv[protected].

    In view of the above, i humbly request the concerned team to let me know, how come the clutch assembly gets damaged within 1 year when the vehicle is rode with care and concern. If this is the case, do i need to replace the clutch assembly frequently? Or the vehicle come with the damaged clutch assembly initially? If the vehicle has come with the defective clutch assembly, request you to refund the clutch assembly charges billed to me.

    I feel terribly upset with regard to the above incident. Hence request you investigate and revert on the above issue.

      I have purchased a royal enfield classic 350 black bs iv from hsr services, lalbagh, bangalore on 30 june 2017 (Date as per invoice but the delivery was taken on 27 jul 2017).

      Following are the vehicle identification details:

      Reg. No: ka 05 kd 0083
      Chassis number: me3u3s5c1hf149904
      Engine number:u3s5c0hf356034

      When the vehicle was bought, one of the nuts of the back rest bar was not fixed, the headlight was faulty in assembly, key set (Ignition) was faulty and the 3m sticker on the tank was also full of bubbles. This was partially rectified after several visits.

      The first service of the vehicle was done on 18 aug 2017 at the kanakapura road service center of hsr services via job card number rjc[protected]. Due to the ignition switch problems the key set of the vehicle was replaced. Following the first service the issues with the engine of the vehicle started popping up.

      There was an unbearable noise in the engine and the vehicle use to jump while trying to move in 1st gear during cold start with thick white smoke. After a brief conversation with mr. Mithun of hsr services, lalbagh, the vehicle was sent for repair at the lalbagh work station on 06 sep 2017 where the noise of the engine was rectified. The engine valve setting was done and cam wheel adjustment was done with some additional repairs in the engine head (Job card number rjc[protected].

      Today again, there is a white smoke coming out of the engine for some reason, oil leakage is also seen in the silencer and engine head. The vehicle has been taken to the lalbagh workshop again (08 sep 2017). I have attached the necessary documents for your reference.

      With all these issues the complete vehicle has one or the other problem since purchase. As a customer i have been going through a very bad mental agony since the vehicle purchase. As a representative from the dealership, mr. Mithun is trying to resolve as much issues as possible but, one or the other issue is popping up day by day.

      Hence, i request you to issue me a new vehicle in this regard, as this vehicle is completely faulty with one or the other issues. I would like to hear from you in 24 hours regarding this issue, else i will think of legal procedures to get a new vehicle in place of this faulty one by monday (11 sep 2017).

      In fact i have to visit the workshop today as well due to some increased noise in the engine.

      Please note that the oil seal was faulty last week and was replaced.

        Front & back wheel rusty in 11 days. Also front shoulder road & back shocker spring rusty. Some engine parts & some deliver parts are rusty. I have purchase bike 28/8/2017 then first service given 8/9/2017. After service see rusty all areas i have also written complaint to my job card i have purchase bike jmd automobile & service also for this company but no good response.
        Pls change all parts

          The chain set is completely broken and they have no tooths
          Why this happened?
          I newly purchased bike 16 months before.
          I drive carefully and very much how ever the chain pocket broked

          Dear sir,
          I bought a new classic 350 bike from royal enfield in may 2016 now it has covered a distance of 9, 200km. Few days before when i was riding the bike, there found some slippage in chains with sound and when checked it was found that teethes of sprocket found in broken condition. I bought this bike for rs 1, 55, 000 and for this cost it should give some minimum life to its parts. I think the low cost bikes available in the market will give more life to parts than this. I am completely unsatisfied with this. My bikes registration number is kl-18-r-2907 please do the needful. Regards,

            We booked our classic 350 (Black) on july 27 and payed rs 5500, the manager told that my vehicle will deliver the vehicle before onam festival (September 3). At that day we reach that dealer shop he forced to pay the down payment and we payed the amount correctly and told the vehicle will deliver after the onam celebration or surely deliver the vehicle on september 8, we called the manager contact number and he put the phone switched off.. Now the phone is switched off about 3 day, they never contact me for any information and delivery reports. They doesn't attend my call.. Please take immediate action against this cheating of yamuna agencies adoor (Pathanamthitta district) kerala

              This is the 4th time i am facing issue in my bike, due to sudden issue with the fuse. I have been to service centre multiple time but the issue still persist. Also there was the oil leakage issue in bike as per the mechanic rubber valve was missing.
              How come the valve was missing in a new bike i purchased in feb 2017.

              Look into this issue. Else i have my relative working in eicher and i will manage to get the ombudsperson email id.

                  I have bought thunderbird 350 from sonia motors, thane maharashtrian during jan 2017. The foot gaurd supplied by the dealer is of a very low cheap quality and with just few rains the whole gaurd got rusted, and when asked about this the dealer says he does not warranty it. He has charged around 1500 for the gaurd as a accessory which would not cost more than 600/- outside. What is the point in buying with authorised dealer. Attaching he pictures of the foot gaurd for reference. Request to resolve this.

                    I had purchased royal enfield thunderbird bike on 2014 at peelamedu branch coimbatore, while after taking delivery within a couple of days i found lots of problems in my bike for example the chain was not properly installed the some of screws were missing at that time, wrong key issued, key lock broken, speedo meter not working, itself i made complaint to the branch service manager in written and after they rectified that problem.
                    Recently on july 2017 i left my bike to full bike service at peelamedu branch coimbatore at that mentioned that bike is not properly starting so kindly check all the issues. After taking delivery from service i was not satisfied with service.
                    Last 6th of september 2017 while i wàs driving my bike my fellow drivers near by me noticed me that smoke is coming from battery side immediately i stopped my bike and open the side door of battery i was shocked to it was burning near battery and near to petrol tank tube and 5 to 6 people helped to put of fire. It was very dangerous to my life immediately i towed my bike to peelamedu branch service station coimbatore but there wasn't anybody so i visited on morning of 7th of september i spoken to the branch manager but they casually told that it will not happen we shall see to it.
                    If they have properly service the the bike last time i will not faced this problem.
                    My life was in line who is responsible for it i need immediate action and responses to it.

                      I went to the royal enfield showroom to purchase a bike. But the staff is very rude and spoke in bad language. I ask them to start a bike to listen the sound of the bike but they denied my request. They said it makes noise pollution and irritation. I mean what the #? You treat ur customers like this? I[censored] don't like ur customers and you have problems with starting a bike then y u open this bloody showroom? I want to make a complaint against the royal enfield showroom staff and the owner of the showroom. They don't have manners that how to treat their customers.

                        Dear sir / mam,

                        I'm customer of royal enfield having thunderbird 500 lightening color with registration number mh 01 cb 0003.

                        I have serious concerns regarding the paid service.

                        I gave my motorcycle for servicing on 04th september 2017 after been called and sent back on 01st september 2017 due to sufficient number of vehicle already taken for servicing. Pease note my time to reach pr enterprises for servicing was 10:30 am which was pretty much fine when i called them and asked when should i come.

                        My motorcycle was with pr enterprises for 3 days. Every time i call for knowing when my motorcycle will get ready, i get the same answer that in 5-10 mins they will call and let me know. Not even a single call i received. I myself took the initiative and spoke to senior authority to expedite the issue and get my motorcycle repaired asap.

                        When i was called on 6th september to collect my motorcycle, i went to service center and saw my motorcycle was in a very dirty position lying there with no proper dusting on it after some powder was used to clean. When asked for bills breakup which was rs. 5400 against the estimate of rs. 3500 + 650, person clearly told me that he don't know anything and asked me to go where bike was serviced. Means i should pay whatever nonsense bills they ask without questioning?

                        Speedometer which got changed completely was not working, lighting connection problem which i specifically mentioned in job card was not attended but charged around rs. 500, oiling, greasing was not done at all, taping and fixing of wires going here and there was not done but charged.. For all these things they took another 1 hour doing time pass and only talking instead of physically attending the job but still none of the problem was resolved. I was told by mr. Govind khatri that he will send his service guy to fix the speedometer problem at my office address which in bkc. Even after sending him address details he didn't even bothered to send any one. I called him almost 15 times but none of my call was received.

                        Finally evening i myself went again service center to fix the problems. There i came to know that instead of thunderbird 500 speedometer, thunderbird 350 speedometer was fixed. Again it took an hour to replace the speedometer. Wherein lighting connection was not fixed by them. I was asked for rs. 850 for wire which was required to replace for which i agreed. Point is when 3 days my bike was kept for servicing that time why such problems was not attended??

                        Later they kept my bike outside on road where traffic movement is too much and bike cannot stand there for more time so i was asked by the service guy to take motorcycle and go since problem is solved.in this confusion i forgot to pay rs. 850 to service center for which i told i will pay online or will do paytm when i spoke to them.

                        In evening my motorcycle automatically got stopped while running on highway. I called pr enterprises to know the quality of servicing done and how the problem will get resolved now? Mr. Govind khatri talked to me in a very foul language and in a very unprofessional way saying that when your motorcycle stopped then you called and ran away like thief from service center without paying money. He told that he did my work. I want to know he did my work or his own job?? Such a dirty language i wasn't expecting from royal enfield's representative.

                        Now, please tell me who will bear the towing of motorcycle cost, repair cost, taxi fair from road side to my home, repair cost of motorcycle?? This things all happened same day when my servicing was done. Such a poor servicing without checking / cross checking the vehicle. At least whatever is written / mentioned in job card would have been attended but that work also not done. Removed paints water. Destroyed motorcycle key.

                        Also, request you to provide me royal enfield's account number so that i can transfer amount of rs. 850 which as mentioned above i forgot to pay at service center. I am not going to give any money to any other individual without prior receipt. As asked by pr enterprises to do paytm, i deny to do that since i don't trust these cheaters anymore.

                        In all my servicing since the time i have purchased motorcycle, i have faced many difficulties with service centers. No one resolved water leaking inside fuel tank problem yet. Speedometer problem got resolved after almost more than a year by chasing / taking follow-ups/ requesting like beggars. I have used my motorcycle without meter readings, without rpm, without knowing at what speed i'm driving and without knowing the time.

                        To entire royal enfield team, its my humble request to resolve my issue at the earliest. I went royal enfield service center to get my motorcycle repaired rather than facing more problems into it.

                        Hope for your sincere efforts against my concerns!!!

                          I am writing this complaint letter to royal enfield about a problem with my new bike royal enfield es 350 cc, a february 2017 model. I began to have trouble staying aloft a few months ago, and now its height there are so many areas where bike got rusting in only 7 months of span and even gear box is also gets stuck some times.

                          I believe that re is focusing on its quality because i have used so many bikes and none of them got rusting in only span of 7 months. If the paint on the metal parts or the stainless steel parts doesn’t even protect the single rain then there is a serious question of quality and i suggest you should take strict actions against it.

                          As a re lover i bought this bike by investing huge amount of money and i have enjoyed riding my bike and also taken good care of it, performing all recommended maintenance. But this is a serious issue hence i am raising this complaint to you for take a necessary action for repair of my bike so that i can protect it from rusting.

                          Prompt response for the necessary action is highly appreciated.

                            I had made my second service recently, in that i have registered a complaint but that was not taken care. I had proceed this complaint in two service centers (Bullmenn motors, coimbatore and sherif motors, coimbatore) but they charged the money and didn't took any measures. There's no correct response form the service people. Iam very much worried about this act. If authorised people's are like this means it's too bad and creates a bad impression on the whole company. I need immediate cure for this.

                              I work in bangalore and had booked tb 350 on july 27 2017 in mangalore frontline royal enfield showroom ballalbagh though it was near to my native & showroom people guaranteed for a delivery on 1st sep 2017.

                              I was in touch with the sales executive from the booking date and was asking about the delivery. There was no clear response. I had to put leave to get the bike. On 28th aug i had come to my house by taking leave though it was a lop considering the delivery date. Sales executive had asked me to transfer the amount before 3 days from the delivery date. I was about to do it on 28th of aug. Just before doing it i thought of calling once again to confirm about the vehicle. It was still the same answer given to me by her saying that she doesn't know when the load comes. This was the same answer given by her for the 7th time.

                              Immediately i told her to cancel my booking. Next day i went to the showroom and i had a chat with the manager. The manager (Yashas) doesn't know that i had booked a vehicle! Yes, that's sounds crazy. But that's the thing happened. I asked about this with the sales executive (Aishwarya) & she told me that retail manager was dealing this. I wanted to speak to him/her. Though she denied coming to the floor, my anger made her to come. And she started asking reasons. After all these she is not showing a single responsibility and she was giving some # reasons for not delivering and eve she doesn't know when the load will come.

                              And after all when she is talking to me she is smiling. That shows how responsible and serious she is. So i cancelled my booking with lot of frustrations. I had sold my old bike too.

                              All this things are done. These 3 people didn't even ask a single sorry with me though i was a customer. Great image created!

                              I seriously request to analyze this case and take some action on this. That retail manager (Pavithra) was the worst part of my life. I don't even know why she's working there. She's least bothered about customer. I repeat she's least bothered about customer because even i work in sales dept for a company and even i know to handle the customers. Worst retail manager ever i met in my lifetime. I am seriously telling this.

                                I would like to inform you that i sk. Sunny ali purchased a royal enfield classic 350 ash colour on[protected]. There were certain problems regarding the engine head and the sound was not proper. After 2 servicing they were not able to rectify it. And now after travelling only 1046 kms smoke is emitting from the exhaust pipe. Now they are refusing to rectify it. The service center are harrasing a lot and are not taking any attempt to rectify the problems.
                                Royal Enfield customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                  It is just 5 months i buyed my royal enfield classic 350 and i broke with 16 teeths of my chain sprocket. The quality of parts is really bad. I need a replacement free of it. Paying these big amount for the bike and the quality we get is so cheap. These is so unfair. I am not at all satisfied with the quality royal enfield is providing me and the service of bike is not done properly.

                                    This issue is going on from last 15 days.

                                    Again i have to your person and he was literally abusing and using very rough words.
                                    You guys hires all gondas so they can keep abusing your customer and charges unnecessery.

                                    This is really heights...
                                    This is happening every time
                                    Why should i suffer because your mistake because of your # staff and dumb and i will file police complian for this...

                                    You guys or your staff no one is bother with post sale services and we have to keep begging to get our bullet on time with proper services but still not resolved
                                    I want my money back which i paid for services on 12th aug at electronic city motors, singasandra bangalore

                                    I have given my bike on service on 12th Aug and picked up my bike on 13th Aug after 2-3 days problem started, suddenly bullet will off and it will bit get it start for 10 mins and this was happening for 1 week and then I called your service center & they were bother to take this issue on priority and given all crazy answer. I paid rs. 2928 for this service and every service I will pay rs. 3000+ but still you bullet service is pathetic and same mistake and problem all the times.
                                    What kind of jokers you have hired at your service center that they always wants to make fool their customer and selling unnecessary products.

                                    With every service they will be some sell on the bike service.
                                    After spoke to the service centre they took my bullet on 24th Aug evening and after calling on 26th Aug & the person told they are working on the issue and will update but when I have shouted on them they said immediately after 5 mins bullet is ready and they have delivered also on 26th Aug.
                                    Again on 28th morning bullet was getting started.

                                    I was telling that guy that there is serious problem with Bullet as after serviced on 12th Aug I am facing lot of problem with my bullet and they have done some thing wrong during services and now they are not responding for the solution.

                                    I need to my bullet should be taken care immediately and resolve the issue on the priority.

                                      Hi,
                                      I have bought classic 350 bs4 in sheriff motors (Coimbatore, saibaba colony) on aug 4 2017 with much excitement. What i thought is, it would be a dream to ride a re but it became a nightmare for me after the day when i riding it. From day 2 the issue started to happen,
                                      On day 2 (6 aug 2017) my headlight didnt worked, got rectified by sheriff motor service (Re authorised)
                                      From next day (7 aug 2017) - my battery didnt got charged, due to busy commitments i delayed to reach service center one day.
                                      But on 8 aug 2017, my bike didnt even start, which forced me to call road side assistance, it was found that it was a wiring issue (By same service center)
                                      Ironically i did my first service at same service center where i boughtmy bike, they did something from that day my bike is stopping all of the sudden in the middle of road (For every 5 to 10 km) with no reason, what i did to work around is i open fuel tank and shake my bike a little, then it starts.
                                      Notable mention - my rear shock absorbed has been changed in between these scenarios because i was provided with faulty one.
                                      My vehicle reg no is tn 38 ck 1689
