My Thunderbird 350 with registration number TN 70 P 4987.I left for service with a complaint about my rear wheel rubbing.I left in two different authorised service centre for 3 times each time paying bills in my town but they couldn't clear the complaint.Such a disappointment .Such a worst service and they are using my vehicle for their personal work travelling around 20 to 25kma everytime.I m getting delivered my one more classic 350 on Jan 30.Afraid of the services of both the vehicles.kindly look after it.

    This is with much disappointment I would like to record this complain.
    During the first service, even after repeatedly telling the showroom people that the clutch and cable adjustment needs to be checked they didn’t bother to do that and just washed the vehicle and gave it back.
    And now with less than 15 hundred KM the clutch cable is cut. It was in the middle of a busy client visits I had to push the vehicle for 3 KMs.
    Royal Enfield is a very good brand and never expected to get this kind of service from the showroom people. I feel hesitant to even suggest this to my friends, how is that a cable cannot withstand 1445 km too.. very disappointed.

      I have booked royal enfield thunderbird lightening 350 in chrompet. They said that the waiting period will be 45 days and also they mentioned the same in booking form. But now its been more than 60 days till now i didnt received any good response from them. I heard that the bike price has increased. If its raised within the 45 days of waiting period I can pay whatever the amount . But its been nearly 65 to 70 days was over. How can I pay the amount that was raised after my waiting period.Also i didnt received any proper response from them.
      Is this the Quality of response from big reputed company Royal Enfield ?

        The Meter u were providing is not at all correct.it runs faster than the original kilometer.. I checked it with other vehicle were other vehicle runs 4.5 km my vehicle shows 5.1km, for the same distance..it's all the matter of cheating..second on is a the assembling part.tappet you were assembling is not assembled properly..for that reason my vehicle had undergone an engine repair...I am planning to file a complaint against the company owner for cheating..and other lossess that I had faced till now..I am waiting for a replay from your side, to go ahead with it or not..I hope u under stand my problem.

          They use duplicate parts and bill for the original price, My handbar got rusted within 3 months time, When i went there to ask the service manager named Mr. ChandraMohan, he says it happens sometime and we can't do anything about it. His customer service was unbearable.

          And when i ask him to give a written statement about the part, he refused to give it, then i asked atleast give me the customer care number, he said there is no number available so take the email id. And i asked the nodal officer email id, he said that he won't give that mail id, I don't know why he refused to give nodal officer email id, though i can get it from online he is refusing to give it to me.

          I am sure they are using duplicate parts as the oil filter got spoiled within 5 days time and also you must see their oil service, i checked the oil on the next day of the service, it gone black like anything.

          I spent 7000s and 3000s all the time when i give service there, but nothing is worth. They simply change parts and no improvement, when i complaint they simply say that you have to change that and this.

          The only reason i go to company service because they only accepts credit card, I can't give my CC to local mechanic, though they charge 2% extra on credit cards, I have no other options than goint there for service.

          I don't know what else would be fine than posting here about their service, this is the first time am complaining about anything here, Lets see what solution/help i get from here.

              This is regarding Royal Enfield's newest product, the Himalayan. This motorcycle has been marketed to take on the Himalayas in the worst conditions. However, I am amongst many other owners who are having various issues with the build quality even when riding in cities. Barely a few months old, only 5000kms, the engine, gearbox, the handle bar assembly, the electrical are all failing. Some are serious enough to be life threatening. Although the company is fixing certain issues as and when they come, it is still up to us, the consumer to continue pursuing again and again and again with the service centres across India to convince them of several problems.

              My individual bike has experience the follow, at only 5000kms on the odometer:

              Handlebar t-cone set assembly. This affects handling of the bike.

              Electrical systems. The bike randomly shuts off. Engine, and all electrical parts, lights, turn indicators, break lights, horn, even the starter motor. You can only imagine how dangerous this can get.

              The bike frame has had weak spots, where dropping the bike, resulted in not a minor scratch, but a welded piece of the frame broke off.

              The gearbox is extremely hard. At time you miss shifting up or down in city traffic and it can stall the bike.

              The engine is sluggish. Even after an oil change much earlier than the service manual recommendation. There is no power under 3500 to 4000 revs. The bike's red line is 6000, so from this ratio, its too high to get any power.

              The engine seems to have frequent issues with the tappet setting. This, apparently, controls the valves, and needs adjustment often.

              The fuel economy listed by the company is around 30kmpl. most of the riders I have spoken with claim between 16kmpl to 24kmpl best.

              The rear suspension after riding with a pillion seems to get stiffer. And it sends jolting shocks up your spine. Remember, this bike is supposed to tackle off-road conditions, but minor pothole patch work and melted tar on the roads can become painful.

              The handling has been compromised after the t-cone assembly has been replaced.

              The service centres have not been entirely honest about their ability to service the bikes. During my 10 month ownership of the bike, the bike has been at the service centre, or unusable for a good 40% of the time.

              The bike was advertised to have gone through a 5 year long R&D process, however, it seems that the first few batches of owners were the test subjects. The newer bikes seem to be having less problems. I think its only fair that we get all the parts replaced, or our bikes replaced due to so many issues that we have faced.

                Hi, I am Shirish Kalbhor using electra 350 since last 5 years. On 18 Jan 2017, while going to office on speed breaker I heard loud sound of breaking something. later on i got to know my electra's rear side semitrailing arm's bolt broken up into two pieces. How could this bolt broke ? What would be the reasons behind this ?. I request you to replace this broken bolt into new one.

                  Hi, My name is GOWTHAM A.V. Recently (14 Nov'16) I bought thunderbird 500 marine from Royal Enfield Company Store, Adayar, Chennai. From the day I got delivery there is a kocking sound from the engine and the engine doesn`t even pull in bridges. and simple slopes. I Complained about this issue every 250kms I ridden and now I have jus reached 1500 kms odo. complained on this in velavan motors service center, alapakkam Chennai everytime I take my bike there and once in Royal enfield Company service center also but no actions taken to solve this issue. Engine knocking is a serious issue I cant ride my bike as such like that. but the service center guys asking me to ride till 3000kms now. at 1st they told after 1st servce it will be solved. i.e.500kms. then every 250 kms they keep on giving me the same reply. they are not understanding what I am sayng. please take this seriously and help me to solve this issue

                      I have serviced by motor bullet 350 from the authorized dealer Motor India. I have made the bill payment through credit card of Rs.2654 against the bill amount of Rs.2628/-. While asked for the receipt of additional payment of Rs.26/- they have told me that it was charged as service charges for usage of the credit card. charging of the service charge for using of credit card is totally unfair. The dealer Motor India, Kolhapur & the invoice...

                      I'm from Namakkal, I have experienced a very worst service for last few services, so I tried the Chamundi service at Salem but they were also not good even they have not completely check the bike at delivery...The chain and clutch were too tight and the engine sound changed a lot, nowadays i feel uncomfortable to ride my bike, I need to talk about this to higher official so do call me in [protected]..

                      Hope they need to be trained much and need to care about bikes rather collecting service charge...

                          After taking delivery of my bike on 12th June, only after 2 days, it's pilot lamps and meter light went off. When I went at service station, they told that the switch is faulty and told that it will be replaced in 2-3 weeks. Nothing happened. When I mailed on 8th Dec., they registered complaint and service manager from South Delhi Royal Enfield, Okhla called and told me to come and get the switch replaced anytime. But when I called before visiting service station, they told product is not available and it will take another 15 days. It has been 6 months now.

                            I am Mukesh Tailor from Kalyan. Today I get serviced my bike at Ulhasnagar Service Centre. After test drive by Royal Enfield supervisor I was informed to change many auto parts like Chainspocket, air filter, liner etc. For this I paid bill of 11691/-
                            I was highly disappointed that I have to come twice today to get repair as my bike engine was getting stop whenever i slow down.
                            I was surprise that engineer has to finally open fuel tap where he find water and then get removed.

                            Here i want to ask Team Royal Enfield how you ensure that after spending 12K amount my bike was completed seviced with trained engineers. This is my second bad experienced with same team.

                            It was also surprise that team is not able to even give proper reply after asking the amount charged.

                            I want complete satisfaction on my query and get serviced my bike properly.

                              Your regnal sir Vishal told us not contact to me for any complaint. and Bengaluru give no of same person ... if you not Abel to give good service then give me my money back ... why I gate such dumped bike with problems in ring ... at the time of delivery your engineers told us yes we give you new ring in few month then what is problem now ... I also give written complaint to you when reading of meeter is 00000 ... if you not solve my problem I have no choice to complain in national consumer court

                                Dear Sir,

                                I purchased the bullet standard 350 UCE on November 2015. Now had completed 15800 KM. My chain sprocket were broken rear side (that can only view from our side). From 10000 km onwards it's teeth were broken. Vehicle on the road price without accessories is almost 129000.So. Why such a nice brand (Royal Enfield) using such low quality parts, since vehicle cost they are increasing yearly.

                                Please do a necessary action for the same.

                                  I purchased my bike(JH05BM 2204-BULLET 350-STANDARD.CHASSIS NO.ME3U3K5C0GE072012.ENGINE NO.U3K5C0GE072012) on 15th of june this year and found that paint of my tool box is light and even the paint of my tank is coming out in dots as if there is bubble under it.

                                  Also hat on my front mud guard it seems that there was a damage and is covered through few layers of paint.i can say this as i have worked in tata motors for three years.
                                  I complained about it but no response is being given from neither the dealer nor company.

Royal Enfield is an iconic brand bt Royal Enfield services are not at all bothering abt the customer problems and also the company. The service center charge 625 + tax for general service but they are not work properly and don't check the disc break oil front and back. I am very unsatisfied for royal enfield service center again i don't go there and don't suggest to my known. Royal Enfield bikes are having 1n mejor complaint(issues) which is engine oil leakage problem. This problem is nt at all tallrate plz take some action on this issue. When we are taking out bike in a early mrg this takes the riders to very sad mood and all the other brands are giving such gud and quality services regarding their bikes engine and packing why can't the Royal Enfield this most popular and iconic brand in our country and they take some pricossions on this...

                                      Hello I Istiaque Ahmed Choudhury owner of Royal Enfield Classic 350 submitted a complain few days ago but till not getting any positive response from your side. May i hope any positive reply from your side or not. we people are suffering this type of harassment by your employee again and again. I really dont undetstand what is going on. Its a very shamefull thing as a reputed company like Royal Enfield.

                                      My classic 350 had a petrol leakage petrol from the 6th or 7th month of purchase even after the first two services there has not been any change in it whenever I stop my bike petrol starts leaking within 30 -40 minutes I need to change it immediately as possible .
