Good afternoon, I am Durgesh Gupta, my vehicle no is Dl2SP 4905, on 28-12-16 I did my 4 free service, from yesterday a knocking problem is produced from chain set and bike takes jerk during driving . The manager tell us that there is a maintenance problem from u, that's why this problem going to occur, but I did my service always continuously at right time, now he told that this part will changed on warranty, so kindly solve my problem and take further action

    Hi there,

    I'm writing this email with much grief and disappointment.

    I got my TB 350 stone delivered on 19th December around 7.15 PM from Legend Motors in Tambaram, Chennai.

    The vehicle ran well until 27th December after which my bullet isn't running well on nights.

    I reached the same showroom and complained about this. Chief mechanic Stephen took it for a spin on 28th morning and confirmed me that everything is normal.

    That night again when I returned home from office my bullet dint start. It chocked every few metres and I had to wait for 10 minutes with my choke on to start it again. I had to do this for 12 times over a 17km ride.

    I called the showroom again and they bluntly told me to take it to the service station.

    Since my bullet isn't creating any trouble during mornings I continued to use it. By then I drove around 420kms.

    I took it to the service station on 30th morning, this time to Vardhan Motors in Kelambakkam since its en route to my office.

    They advised me for a first service which is due at 500kms and asked me to leave the vehicle there that night so that they could do a test drive during the night. It sounded good and I obliged.

    On 31st morning when I went to receive my bike, service manager Rohit told me that the fuel tap was faulty and he has changed it. I was happy that the fault was resolved. I paid for the service and started home.

    Again in the evening my bike chocked and all my new year plans collapsed along with it. The service personnel dint pick my calls after 7.30 PM.

    Now what am I supposed to do with a bike that runs only on mornings?

    I know that this issue of bikes not running well during nights sounds crazy and funny, but this is something which has to be addressed by your production and lead technical team ASAP.

    I've just run 500kms and my bike is hardly a fortnight old.

    This is a very below par performance and customer care from RE.

    P.S. I have already blasted my friend who suggested me to opt for RE.

    Battery failed within 6000 Kms (but 1 year three months is over from purchase).There is no actions being taken by dealer saravana motors, hosur to replace the battery at free of cost. Even on discussion with the royal enfield customer care personnel, they are claiming that, they will give only 1 year warranty or

      Recently my royal enfield electra silencer started shaking .The bike dealer is not responding me.From the last two days i am not able to go outside.Please repair it otherwise fit a new one.The bike is totally new and i thought there will not be any problem.Please try to do it quickly otherwise change my bike and give me another piece. I am totally dissapointed with the performance of royal enfield .
      Also dissapointed with the servicing quality of shyamji bike dealer bargarh odisha.I request you to solve my problem .Its my sincere request.Please grant it as soon as possible.The silencer is shaking totally and i am not able to go outside in any emergency.The bike dealer is not reasponding to me please loke before it.

      I have purchase new Electra 350 on dtd. 21/12/2016, but i have no satisfied for your bike. my Electra 350`s piston very high knocking while riding the bike. And I delivered on 21/12/2016 to till date i am going on dealers showroom but he says you ride minimum 500 km after stop piston knocking. so, I request you shoal my problem or change bike.

        There was a manufacturing defect in the new TB350 (which was taken from Sri Venkateswara Bike Zone, Pallikaranai on 22/12/2016). I noticed there was a tyre problem and went to the Enfield showroom next day. I was given a letter and I was asked to go to MRF to get it replaced. Why would I go all by myself in the first place? It is a manufacturing defect on a very new vehicle. Whoever did the Quality Check from the company side would have slept and signed the vehicle good.

        But out of interest I went to the MRF and spoke to them on 26/12/2016. this is because the MRF folks will not deal claims on weekends... They did all tests and confirmed that they will replace it surely. but they cannot remove the wheel as TB350's caliper is slightly risky to remove if done outside. So they advised me to give the vehcile to the enfield dealer and ask them to get this replaced through them.

        I spoke to that service guy and he was fine to do it and I gave the vehicle there on (27/12/2016).

        Here's the problem.

        My vehicle was there at the dealer for two full days unattended. But they promised me to give it by end of same day. And I got irritated with the service supervisor who did not call me and update me anything. Whenever I called, he kept saying we have taken and blah blah... Out of curiosity I called to that MRF guy and checked if the replacement was done for my vehicle. He said nothing came till now. I got pissed off and called the service supervisor and asked him the status again. He said we have taken the wheel but MRF do not service after 5. I told I checked with the MRF guy and he said nothing came yet.

        That supervisor then went in and checked (for the first time) and realized that the wheel was not even removed... They just keep getting the vehicle for service and get money. but no quality work is being done. Actual work just takes 1 hr max... but nothing moved.

          I recently bought a new classic desert storm 500... On the very first day while i took my bull some sort of sound arises from somewhere... Since am a new user i don't even know what it was... After a few days i went to the showroom and told the problem... Without even checking my bike the stupid service guys told me that sound is usual and we can't do anything... If the sound persist, then you come again... Showroom name ROVERS MOTORS, KAYAMKULAM... What am asking you guys is to do me a favour... As i paid about 2 lakhs for my bike i have my right to get my bike repaired or checked or serviced properly... Due to this type of stupids we are jus loosing our asset and not getting proper conditioned bike... So its a request, either you contact the stupids n warn them about proper servicing or just tell me how to file a proper complaint aganist those showroom people...

            I had given my vehicle for servicing with venkateswara bike zone, chennai, tamil nadu on 18-dec-16. I got a call from them that chain is slightly rusted. Hence he told me that i have to change the chain. I said since it is only light rust, i told him to lubricate. Again he called today (19-dec-16) and told that one chain sprocket teeth has broken and i need to change the same. My vehicle is two years old and the ride km is only 10, 000. Do you have any life specified for your chain and chain sprockets? If so, how much or how long.

            He is also insisting to change fork oil and i don't know why. What is frequency to change the fork oil.

            It looks like venkateswara bike zone is trying to make money by changing as many spare as part as they want to change.

            Royal enfield is also not responding. Instead service guys are replying..

              Not happy and very diaappointed the way customer get treated.. Just because of 4 days are over so i could not applicable 4th free service... Of my bike... Before that i never get any message for services.. But u r people have record they approached me for service... I took 3rd service after given date so they direct skip my 3rd service & count that service as 4th service. They have not updated me for the same. Today i asked y r u charging if my service is free on that they give me this explanation. I think big organization like you look the concerns of the customer.

                I purchased Royal enfield classic 350 four months back. In first service, I informed about the speed issue of my bike as I was not able to ride above 80km speed. But it is not yet resolved and the service person told me that Royal enfield's maximum speed limit is 80kmph. IS IT TRUE?

                Now I have given my bike for third service (24/12/2016). Total distance run in my bike as of now is 6000kms only. Chain sprocket is damaged and they are demanding payment. There should be free replacement. DOESN'T IT GET COVERED UNDER WARRANTY?

                  This is a complaint from a middle class person who has bought his passionate bike with his hard earned money.

                  I had a horrible experience at both the showroom when the bike was delivered and at the first free service at workshop.

                  First I want to highlight the mental tension / waste of time / harrassment i am having now with the service center executives.
                  (Still my bike is at the service center).

                  I bought a royal enfield desert storm (500 cc) which is my passion from years. It got delivered on 14th November 2016.
                  After so many corrections (metioned in the end) to my new bike I gave my bike for first free service and what i have got in return is a defective engine oil leak problem.

                  I went back to them and they said that it will happen for most of the bikes. Every time Do I need to carry an engine oil with ~3 litres for safety ???
                  They said they will resolve the issue. the problem is the technician carelessly done the screwing and it is damaged.
                  Repaired the brand new engine with lathe machines for threading. After that i have received it for the second time and still the same problem.

                  for the third time i went back for the same issue. they repaired it back and i have asked them that if it happen again i need the replacement / premanent solution.
                  i cant ride it with the same problem every day.

                  Even I don't want to live with a 4 weeks old defective product lifelong with limited short term warranty keeping in mind
                  that my bike has already spent a week in service center and in a month's time, i went to the showroom for 5 times and 6 times to the service center.
                  On 21st december I have got a chance to talk to a nice person named SHUKLA (DM of vashi and panvel showrooms).
                  I have explained him all the pain i have got after the bike has been delivered.

                  He promised me that it wont happen again and said it is his responsibility to get it delivered to me in perfect condition.
                  I have asked him can he guarantee that as this is the 4th time I am giving the bike to the work center for the same oil leakage problem.
                  He said yes. On December 22nd afternoon, the bike has arrived with the same fault. I have sent it back.
                  on the same day it came again with another defect of the silencer (mishandling from the mechanics). Again i sent it back.
                  Yesterday (23rd december 2016) it came with the silencer part replaced. At the same time I have checked for the oil leakage.

                  Now it is huge.. the problem is not yet solved moreover it is worse than before. When I have called shukla - the DM, he said he will replace the particular engine part
                  or as a whole whichever is possible. Now today they are again repairing the bike with the lathe machine.

                  Shukla promised me yesterday that we four people (myself / shukla / vicky / and the executive from the RE to replace the defective part) will discuss
                  and sort out the issue. Now I have called him for 3 times in the time slot he has provided to call me for the discussion.

                  He messaged me that he is not well and suggested to talk to vicky thapar the service center supervisor.

                  When I spoke to him, he said he will repair it again for the 5th time...
                  what the hell is going on...???????? Drilling the same engine for the same problem for the 5th time ?????
                  whats going on ???? its a brand new bike.

                  I want the engine to be replaced. I know what will happen if the engine part is replaced... The engine will be opened which is not correct and the part will be replaced.

                  How ever the defective piece is also not being replaced but being repaired again and again..

                  Even the service center guys dont care about the money i had invested to purchase the passionate bike.

                  What I want finally is my bike to be in perfect condition with the defective engine replaced.
                  How may times i have approached to the service center for the same problem is evident on the service record.

                  1- Damage on the top of the tank:

                  Problem faced:
                  There are some scratches on the top of the tank which are visible but they are thinking the customer is foolish enough so that he can take the bike.

                  - I had a discussion with them about the scratches and it get replaced.

                  Person name: Sachin - the only guy who gives proper response in the whole show room.

                  2- Poor knowledged technician @ show room

                  Problem faced:
                  He doesn't fit the sensor under the bike seat which makes the engine symbol in the display always go RED.

                  The technician who delivers the bike is not having any knowledge about royal enfield bikes. he is just a normal mechanic who work with the nuts and bolts.
                  Thats it. what I mean to say is he is not a mechanic of royal enfield. He doesn't know about the bike indicators / sensors and display of RE.

                  3- Arrogant / irresponsible Insurance person @ show room

                  I have submitted all my proofs for the RTO and insurance. I have asked him whether i can get the insurance of my own. He said it is not possible.
                  for the first year we need to buy from them. I thought it may be a rule which i cant change. I accepted.
                  I have properly communicated with him about my name on all the documents before taking the bike from the showroom.

                  But there are so many typing mistakes related to my name on my insurance. on my name column they have added my name and father name with two surnames (duplications)

                  Still the problem is not solved.

                  4- tube lock nut / Wallnut puncture:

                  on the second day my bike front tyre was flat and dont know why.. i was a remote location in the night and there are no body to help me out with the puncture shop.
                  At last after 2 kms i pushed my bike to the nearest locak mechanic available and came to know that the wall nut is having the problem which cant be repaiered.
                  I was shocked how it will be... why dont they fill the air in the tyres when the bike is being delivered?????
                  I have got it changed for 450/- from my pocket.. I never complained for this.

                    Royal Enfield is an iconic brand bt Royal Enfield services are not at all bothering abt the customer problems and also the company .. Royal Enfield bikes are having 1n mejor complaint(issues) which is engine oil leakage problem. This problem is nt at all tallrate plz take some action on this issue. When we are taking out bike in a early mrg this takes the riders to very sad mood and all the other brands are giving such gud and quality services regarding their bikes engine and packing why can't the Royal Enfield this most popular and iconic brand in our country and they take some pricossions on this particular issue(oil leakage) and in some social media or in youtube the people are updating so many vedios on this particular issue why can't this issues reaching Royal Enfield automobile engineer's dnt know and please give good solutions for this .

                    i am facing the problem with excessive engine heat. The heat is generating for minimum of 10 kms also... not for a long drives...

                      I am Shahabazkhan Bargir. I bought the Classic 500 in October 2016. I am facing a problem in my bike since a month that the engine is making a noise while riding above 60 KMPH. Plus there is an issue with the wiring coz all the three parking bulbs are fused, so i got that changed on 20th Dec 2016 but one of them fused again the same day. Secondly the brakeliners are also gone in just 4000 kms of run and your service center executives say that it can be brushed to zero within 2000 kms run too (they claim that they have that customers too). and there are many problems with the bike too so please call me asap so that i can get the best solution for the same.

                        Hi, i have purchased a thunderbird 350cc from b narayanapura on 1st dec 2016. I have not yet received the tool kit which was suppose to come with the bike. I have to change the tube within a week since it got torned near the valve.
                        I gave my vehicle for servicing on 19th dec and it was told to me that i will get the bike in evening and it's 20th dec 1:00pm and still i did not receive any update from the service center and when i call to the showroom they asked me to contact supervisor, and then he asked me to contact other supervisor, and when i call all these guys i get a similar answer that none of them are in the showroom and all are outside and they tell they will call me but they never call again. Such worst service experience with the royal enfield.

                          I purchased enfield 350 classic on 28th novemeber 2016 from mira road showroom in thane district, just after two days it started making nocking sound from engine, i took the bike to service station twicethey keep my bike for two to three days and give me back, every time they just fools me and send back saying its done now sound will not come but after a kilometers run the sound reappears.. I am irritated because of this worst response from enfield.. Please help.

                            It is a terrible experience buying the royal enfield, the very first thing the delivery was not on time & more over before taking the delivery the parking light & rpm meter wasn't working.

                            Secondly after 15 days, there was noise in engine & it was vibrating, the showroom guys fooled saying that after 200 kms the vehicle will be in condition.

                            When gave the vehicle for first service instead of rectifying the problem, they just made the bill of 1048 & they had my vehicle for 3 days saying that they will correct the problem, but nothing happened.

                            Again for the second time i gave the vehicle still it has the same problem.

                            Mr. Venkat manager at royal enfield, cvs motors, mekhri circle is so rude & unprofessional.

                            I would like to get my vehicle replaced

                              I went to free service camp of RE silchar, service center & tell them the problem about my bike they send me outside to repair a parts from another. I went there & repair the same. The party demand me 10 times extra. I argu them then they tell me the commission system of servicing center. They also take extra amount from customers for spare parts which is not use. I send you the bill the no. 4 is not use in my bike but they ...We are facing the stupid problem. Can u solve the problem or will go for legal further process...thank you

                                The gear indicator on my himalayan has been showing wrong gear all this while. On visiting the service center, they could do nothing. The gear movement from 1st to 2nd gear is way too hard and requires too much power. Having paid a premium for the bike i should have expected far better service. This is the condition after just 6 months/1500 kms. If the device is faulty, as per law, i am entitled to a replacememt.

                                P. S: i do not need a replacement, please rectify my existing bike.

                                Product was delivered without finishing as well as tapped sound is coming from engine like a local tempo and they have done three services before 800 km but the issue is not yet resolved

                                  I had bought a thunderbird in the month of february 2015.in my booklet it is mentioned that warranty period is 10000/1 year. When i asked about the same they said this is an old book and the warranty period will be 20000/2 years. But they did not inform me about the paid service. Now my fuel indicator is not working and it is diagnosed that same is an issue with the fuel guage which have to be replaced. Also the odo meter is not working. But now they are saying that warranty claim will be rejected because paid service is not done on time. I have however done 2 paid services, but time was not considered as i was not informed. What should i do to get the claim?

                                    With the heaviest heart would like to draw your attention that i am facing the pathetic after sales service form your dealership which are not competent enough to rectified any problem.

                                    I have kept my vehicle to your workshop on 25th Nov’16 only for service without any kind of noise; but surprisingly in afternoon i got call from one of your service advisor who informed me that rear wheel bearing needed to be replaced as he found abnormal noise was found by him!!!

                                    As i don’t want any compromise with my dream vehicle (GJ01SY0140) ; i have given approval for chargeable replacement of rear wheel bearings. (Even without any question).

                                    Now after 13 days only; abnormal noise is coming in my vehicle which was never felt before the service; again i went to dealership today morning and now they are telling me for the required replacement of HUB!!! What a great service standard of your company !!! i gave my vehicle for smooth functioning and without any problem and you delivered it with the lots of abnormalities.

                                    As my vehicle was not having any problem before service; i will not pay for HUB change it in Free of cost as it was failed due to incompetency of your technician ; or fix my old bearings again in my vehicle and return my money.

                                    I hope someone sincerely look into it for the resolution.

                                    Now they are giving answer that service advisor have left the job so we dont the matter.

                                      Some abnormal noise was observed from the engine, when I went to the authorised workshop to solve this issue they ask to leave the bike as it was a time consuming process. For Three days the bike was there at the service station and every day when I use to visit there they use to say that it will take more time.
                                      Finally on third day when I visit the work station they said that the bike is ready. But when I checked the bike the clutch was too loose/ free and was not in working condition. When I enquired about the same the mechanic said that the clutch wire needs replacement, which was perfectly fine at the time I submitted my bike with them. The manager then looked into and got the clutch wire replaced. The front number plate was also broken when I received my bike. During the time of delivery there was also no engine oil in the engine and they poured about 700ml engine oil in front of me. If this type of recklessness is there at the authorised service centre then I think I should prefer going to a local mechanic.

                                        The thunderbird 500 spokes got cut on run 3-4 spokes from inside the wheel hub how come this is possible for 2 lakh worth of bike. That too they say its cruiser. How can i trust this bike and take high way and long tours. How come it can come out in 8000 km of run worst build quality by the manufacturer. More over they dont give service history of their repairs at service center because the consumer will go and file a consumer complaint. Cvs motors worst response to customers.
