Hello,

I'm writing this due to the bad customer service provided from the dealer. I'm a seafarer and I would like to own this vehicle because it is the one of the most oldest motorcycle company that manufactures excellent motorcycle like bullet.
I have booked royal enfield Electra 350 twinspark on october 2015. I was planning for installment payment, so before booking the model I asked the sales person that nri account is possible for emi procedure. At that time the sales person said " yes it can be done". After booking the model I again asked the same question to the sales person, this time sales person was a different man, he said it is not possible. This means the sales team are not trained properly about the business. Now I decided to go for full payment, I asked them about the procedures for full payment. They said the full amount and few documents (passport copy, pan card copy), this includes registration of the vehicle too. Now when I made the payment they are saying that the registration cannot b done without my signature, then why did this people said this when I was enquiring. Here, again they did not provide the full information and it seems they are not trained properly about the business. The reason why these people made me write this is because they do not provide the accurate information that is needed. Also, the information they are providing is not even 50% accurate. At least a customer should get a average customer service. So this is worst experience for me.

    I am Xavier, In the past I have used Royal Enfield bullet for 20 years and covered more than 5 lakh km without much problem, recently I have brought newly launched vehicle by Enfield, GT CONTINENTAL, expected same performance, this vehicle is one-half years old, having basic design problem, since, the day brought this vehicle is having series of problem every time I was asked to bring the vehicle to your OMR service center, after the service many times I have pushed the vehicle till my residence. It was informed to the service center but, no solution so far found and they were taking it easy and only use to give false promises. No proper service setup, no trained quality service engineers, no responsible person @ your service center for this newly launched vehicle. I do not know what do to with this vehicle, I feel I have made a blunder in purchasing this vehicle, in one-half year I have taken more 20 times to your service center (many times service center not registered) no proper system, I do not know what do with this vehicle, I feel I am cheated by the so called familiar Brand, I have wasted money, no proper customer support, your service manager Mr. Mohan never picks up the call. Your service engineers not properly trained to attend above 350 ccs, please stop doing trails at the customer end, I have incurred heavy financial loss and time, image. Mental agony. Please help me by this problematic vehicle with the bullet 350 cc

      I bought my bike(Royal enfield classic 350) from "Nand Enterprises" Satara and within 1 month of my purchase my bike started facing self start not working issue. i gave my bike to Royal enfield service center in pune(Address: Rahul Chambers, Old Mumbai Pune Hwy, Kasarwadi, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra 411034). They gave me a reason saying my bike has rectifier issue, so i asked them to replace it as my bike was into warranty period. i got got a reply saying we dont have that part now and we will let you know once its there. I kept on following up with them for 3-4weeks but didnt get a proper response. finally i took my bike to the showroom from where i bought it(Satara). There i was told that rectifier is fine it was battery issue and they refused to take the responsibility of replacing the battery as its Exide's product. I had to get the battery replaced on my own from a Exide dealer and starter problem got solved for time being. recently because of some reason the terminal connected to my battery got defused and it broke. instead of asking the showroom people to give attention to that issue during my latest servicing(servicing done in Kings Auto servicing center Baner) my issue was ignored and because of which i had face serious issues where my bike refused to start and had to deal with 187kgs in middle of nowhere.

      First of all if your problem has not been solved till date as we speak first thing on Monday go to the dealer or service station with your book and get it written in black and white about the problem and that they will solve it as what I feel they are waiting for your warranty to lapse and after which they can chew some money from you and through which they won't be giving warranty on the said part. So go and get them.

        Yes you can go to the act. But the parts which are available outside in the market are not genuine trust me in comparison to the dealer. If at all that part has been sent by the company and he is not making a fool of the customer by making his pocket green. As in many cases I have seen in the past. But trust me 99% the company delivers the good to the dealer. No issues by paying little bit extra that satisfaction is there that we have a genuine stuff on our seeds.

          I had taken my ThunderBird500 cc for repairs on 21-Mar-2016 at Royal Enfield's authorized service station in Patiala. My RE Thunderbiird (500cc) registered no. is "UP-16 AY 6213" and is registered under the name Nandita Sharma Lamba.The agency had NO facility for puncture repairs, I had to carry the tyre assembly to a puncture repair shop.When I returned no one was present. Lunch time. Even aftre a long wait staff returned but did not start working. All customers were waiting. My bike was to be polished, I waited two hours, then the bike was handed over to me with polish wax still on the body parts. The overall service quality was awful. My worst experience with a authorised service centre.

            My name is r. Selvaganesan . I have booked vehicle in erode senthil murugan auto agencies .Royal enfield bullet classic 350 black at the date on 25 /11/2015.They told me 2 or 3 months for a delivery till now they wont call me .Last week i went to showroom they told me next slot is coming on saturday .Then i call at saturday morning to office.They told me the slot is not coming to showroom then i ask when it was come they told me this month end i give you delivery now the month is [march]..Nearly i am waiting for 5 months. Till now the vehicle is not delivered to me.In my home town near my relations bought a vehicles in 2 months ..Then what is the reason for delaying for me...My advance amount is rs: 5000/.I attach the bill copy

            The vehicle is very much with the dealer. They are making a fool o[censored]s they are giving priority to the customers who are giving an extra money to get the vehicle first hence the lot of vehicle which is booked for say a =you and b= to the guy who is paying extra to the dealer. Hence when a books the vehicle is been give. Say 3 months then after 3 months when we call we get to hear that the lot has not come bla bla... actually in real life your a booking has passed to the person concerned B.
            Hence your lot vehicle has been delivered to this guy.

              I have recently purchase a thunder bird enfield bike TN-47AH-3498 in murugam motors karur. while before purchasing they are not allow to choose a bullet and we are thinking that royal enfield not cheating with the customer. while drive after their delivery the front wheel balance is very poor and I am shocked with their performance. another day I went to show room and they said in the service time we will correct it. while service time they are done wheel balance and it is good. bot after also in front wheel bubbling is there and while investigating they found that the Tyre is making bubbling and it is not possible to change it now. Please said me that the Tyre is our fault . they has to check twice before delivery all the things are good and they have to give the assurance for all. Now they said that Tyre fault as a customer we feel much

                1) i have purchased royal enfield 350 elktra on 19 march 2016 from delear cidanta gajuwaka, visakhapatnam andhrapradesh, 500026.
                2) we have some respect and faith on royal enfield and the services through these dealers are making us to feel that royal enfield is making fools to the customers.
                3) my vehicle was handed over in this condition. my vehicle was stopped after 2 kms from show room due to lack of petrol, tail light connection not connected and the sensor spring is in hanging position, back break fitted to the last adjustment as the break shoes alraedy warned out and it is very loose,

                      I own a 1970 model RE Bullet maintained in excellent condition. Recently I got the engine overhauled for which I had to collect all the requisite spares before opening up the engine. Since all spares are not readily available, I got FLOATING BUSH & some others from Manchinda Autos Chandigarh (authorised dealer)in Sep 2015. Later I got engine block (sleeve), piston, etc in Nov'15 and got the job done in Dec'15. The engine has run only about 400 kms and very surprisingly, the FLOATING BUSH has failed prematurely. The Company is requested to replace the part and arrange its fitment at cost to Company, along with associated packings and eng oil as complete liability rests with the Coy for premature failure of its product. Original invoice for Floating Bush is available.

                          My bike no is pb08da 4794. A lot of of time i went to navyug service centre and told my problems but they are vry careless persons. They dont care thier customer. Last time they dont fit my bike's eingne bolt and then i tol they did nt worry about it. It is vry horryble. This not a good company services shameful service from company service centre.

                                I have requested for a replacement of SHOCK ABSORBER (Front) for my Bullet Standard 350 which i bought in 2014 June 23

                                Replacement requested on 10 JUNE 2015 (10/06/2015) during warranty period

                                Not yet Done

                                I went the showroom for almost more than 30 time

                                Inquired about the replacement through phone for more than 50-60 times

                                Each time when i went there are different staffs looking after my complaint and each time they will have a test run and describe me about the problem and say " Now stock is not available.. so you just give me the number I 'll inform you..."

                                Each time they are saying different reasons like

                                * "stock not arrived"


                                * "stock arrived but when we open the box its of electra model's shock... will inform you shortly"


                                * "stock arrived but both are right side shock... will call you as soon as the left shock arrives "


                                * "The man ('JOSE chetan') in the spare section is not well and hospitalised so will you call on next wednesday??"


                                * "ROYAL ENFIELD Company is @ Chennai.. Don't you heard about the flood and rain in Chennai??? Spare parts will arrive only after 1.5 months... " :: (the epic one) ::

                                (Chennai flood date:: 8 November 2015 – 14 December[protected]... my request was on June and calling @ january )

                                * "Is this your number?? Okey I will call you back after checking the Spare availability"
                                ( Never got a call back till now)

                                I also inquired in another royal enfield showroom which is at vytilla for spare-part ... they ask me the replacement booking number or some invoice like that... So i went back to royal enfield showroom at edapally Koonamthai for that details... And then they are saying that there are no such details like that.. they just book for spare and whenever the spare arrives they will call the customers who want that..

                                WHICH MEANS "They have NO PROOF of the Respective Customer who asked for the replacement "
                                (What will I do if few months after they are saying that they don't know who i am)

                                Now its the 9th month... (got the bike in 4 months after booking) still they are saying " Currently stock not available.. has to came from Chennai... will arrive on next week... will call you soon when it reached "

                                I think, since its a warranty item they are giving not much importance in that... because they only able add service charge on the invoice... (If its a paid part then they can have product price.. service charge.. handling charge.. tax.. so and so...)

                                My bike used to run more than 40 kilometers daily.. and now the sound from front shock absorber which i requested for replacement is becoming rough and unpleasant day by day...

                                And I guess My life has no guarantee while driving if anything happen to the part during running...

                                  Hi am sethu T Vinod. This To Inform That Royal Enfield, Veliyath Motors Thodupuzha, Kerala have poor and irresponsibility customer service. I am writing this email with deep frustration as its very disgusting. I Have Booked Standard 350 Cc . After Walked-In to the showroom many times Am Not Able To Get Any relevant information. After my request they called me the showroom and said give the vehicles but all parts are buying from this showroom. That parts are highly costly by me comparedto open market.They also said that extra fittings are compulsory for the permanent registration of the vehicle. But when I discuss with motor vehicle department, they asked not required that extra accessories for testing/ registration time. Please take necessary action or Strict Warning for this matter. You are well respected motor company in India, but these kind of poor service and behaviour are not expect from your side. Please intimate me latter. Contact NO- [protected]

                                      I am Shashank A. Khadtare from Yavatmal Maharashtra. Sending you this mail as cheap quality of product delivered to me from Royal Enfield. I have bought Thunder Bird 350 stone on 11 Feb 2016 from Aaditya Riders Pvt. Ltd., Yavatmal. This was the fourth bike of Royal Enfield at my home. I have Classic 350, Classic 500, Thunder bird 350 (Marine) along with my new Thunder bird 350 (Stone).
                                      I am a die hard fan of Royal Enfield legacy but now I am regretting to have Royal Enfield which I have recently bought on 11 Feb 2016. Within a week from the day of delivery i.e., on 18/02/2016 when I was on the way to college suddenly three boys on their mopped crossed my way due to this I applied both front and rear break at the same time. So, I managed to avoid collision. There was no contact between the two vehicles at all. After sometime I noticed that, there are few dents on the back side of front mud guard (i.e., At the lower portion of mud guard near engine front). These dents were result of striking of chassis on lower end of front mud guard due to jerk after application of both breaks. This happens only within a week from the day of purchase. Now my bike has serious problems, its chassis got damaged. Whenever I apply the brakes it strikes on the mud guard in front of it. The distance between chassis and mud guard got reduced. The head light lost its focus, it facing downward on the road as compared to earlier. Along with this whenever I put the bike on center stand, both wheels touches the ground (i.e., there is no ground clearance between both wheels).
                                      As I am facing this problems with my new bike after use of only eight days, I went to show room. That fellow took a test ride of my bike and told me there is problem with chassis and in addition to this the rear shock ups are also damaged. I want to ask you how cheap quality of bike you have manufactured that it can't able to withstand a small jerks. I really doubt on the way you manufactured the bike and its testing. How can shock ups got damaged within eight days. How it is possible that Royal Enfield has such cheap built quality. Its chassis is not capable of bearing of small jerks. Don't you test the bike quality before delivering to customers. A bicycle can withstand such types of jerk without bending. It's really disappointing that customer paid you huge bucks to get suffer. I am getting the worst experience from Royal Enfield. Royal Enfield should change its tag line from made like a gun to made up of plastic. It's really shameful for your company that you manufactured cheap quality product. You are providing zero satisfaction to me and I am afraid to have Royal Enfield. I strongly regret to have Royal Enfield. Royal Enfield sold me a piece of scrap for Rs. 1, 62, 000/-.
                                      How can you expect the customer should allow to repair new bike when there is no fault of customer at all. My bike has bearly completed 350km only. Am I paid to you to get suffer. I don't trust Royal Enfield any more. I need a complete new replacement for my bike. Your poor manufacturing quality causes this damage not me. I need answer to my question, within eight days how can chassis and rear shock ups got damaged??. I am not going to allow to repair my bike, I need replacement in terms of new bike or take your scrap back or else I have to go to consumer court.

                                        After purchased a new bike (En field Classic 350) within a warranty period. A fault occurred in electrical wearing of bike, but dealer of bike not replace the wearing set. Not provide proper service to customer.
