I have requested for a replacement of SHOCK ABSORBER (Front) for my Bullet Standard 350 which i bought in 2014 June 23

Replacement requested on 10 JUNE 2015 (10/06/2015) during warranty period

Not yet Done

I went the showroom for almost more than 30 time

Inquired about the replacement through phone for more than 50-60 times

Each time when i went there are different staffs looking after my complaint and each time they will have a test run and describe me about the problem and say " Now stock is not available.. so you just give me the number I 'll inform you..."

Each time they are saying different reasons like

* "stock not arrived"


* "stock arrived but when we open the box its of electra model's shock... will inform you shortly"


* "stock arrived but both are right side shock... will call you as soon as the left shock arrives "


* "The man ('JOSE chetan') in the spare section is not well and hospitalised so will you call on next wednesday??"


* "ROYAL ENFIELD Company is @ Chennai.. Don't you heard about the flood and rain in Chennai??? Spare parts will arrive only after 1.5 months... " :: (the epic one) ::

(Chennai flood date:: 8 November 2015 – 14 December[protected]... my request was on June and calling @ january )

* "Is this your number?? Okey I will call you back after checking the Spare availability"
( Never got a call back till now)

I also inquired in another royal enfield showroom which is at vytilla for spare-part ... they ask me the replacement booking number or some invoice like that... So i went back to royal enfield showroom at edapally Koonamthai for that details... And then they are saying that there are no such details like that.. they just book for spare and whenever the spare arrives they will call the customers who want that..

WHICH MEANS "They have NO PROOF of the Respective Customer who asked for the replacement "
(What will I do if few months after they are saying that they don't know who i am)

Now its the 9th month... (got the bike in 4 months after booking) still they are saying " Currently stock not available.. has to came from Chennai... will arrive on next week... will call you soon when it reached "

I think, since its a warranty item they are giving not much importance in that... because they only able add service charge on the invoice... (If its a paid part then they can have product price.. service charge.. handling charge.. tax.. so and so...)

My bike used to run more than 40 kilometers daily.. and now the sound from front shock absorber which i requested for replacement is becoming rough and unpleasant day by day...

And I guess My life has no guarantee while driving if anything happen to the part during running...

    Hi am sethu T Vinod. This To Inform That Royal Enfield, Veliyath Motors Thodupuzha, Kerala have poor and irresponsibility customer service. I am writing this email with deep frustration as its very disgusting. I Have Booked Standard 350 Cc . After Walked-In to the showroom many times Am Not Able To Get Any relevant information. After my request they called me the showroom and said give the vehicles but all parts are buying from this showroom. That parts are highly costly by me comparedto open market.They also said that extra fittings are compulsory for the permanent registration of the vehicle. But when I discuss with motor vehicle department, they asked not required that extra accessories for testing/ registration time. Please take necessary action or Strict Warning for this matter. You are well respected motor company in India, but these kind of poor service and behaviour are not expect from your side. Please intimate me latter. Contact NO- [protected]

        Dear Sir,
        I am Shashank A. Khadtare from Yavatmal Maharashtra. Sending you this mail as cheap quality of product delivered to me from Royal Enfield. I have bought Thunder Bird 350 stone on 11 Feb 2016 from Aaditya Riders Pvt. Ltd., Yavatmal. This was the fourth bike of Royal Enfield at my home. I have Classic 350, Classic 500, Thunder bird 350 (Marine) along with my new Thunder bird 350 (Stone).
        I am a die hard fan of Royal Enfield legacy but now I am regretting to have Royal Enfield which I have recently bought on 11 Feb 2016. Within a week from the day of delivery i.e., on 18/02/2016 when I was on the way to college suddenly three boys on their mopped crossed my way due to this I applied both front and rear break at the same time. So, I managed to avoid collision. There was no contact between the two vehicles at all. After sometime I noticed that, there are few dents on the back side of front mud guard (i.e., At the lower portion of mud guard near engine front). These dents were result of striking of chassis on lower end of front mud guard due to jerk after application of both breaks. This happens only within a week from the day of purchase. Now my bike has serious problems, its chassis got damaged. Whenever I apply the brakes it strikes on the mud guard in front of it. The distance between chassis and mud guard got reduced. The head light lost its focus, it facing downward on the road as compared to earlier. Along with this whenever I put the bike on center stand, both wheels touches the ground (i.e., there is no ground clearance between both wheels).
        As I am facing this problems with my new bike after use of only eight days, I went to show room. That fellow took a test ride of my bike and told me there is problem with chassis and in addition to this the rear shock ups are also damaged. I want to ask you how cheap quality of bike you have manufactured that it can't able to withstand a small jerks. I really doubt on the way you manufactured the bike and its testing. How can shock ups got damaged within eight days. How it is possible that Royal Enfield has such cheap built quality. Its chassis is not capable of bearing of small jerks. Don't you test the bike quality before delivering to customers. A bicycle can withstand such types of jerk without bending. It's really disappointing that customer paid you huge bucks to get suffer. I am getting the worst experience from Royal Enfield. Royal Enfield should change its tag line from made like a gun to made up of plastic. It's really shameful for your company that you manufactured cheap quality product. You are providing zero satisfaction to me and I am afraid to have Royal Enfield. I strongly regret to have Royal Enfield. Royal Enfield sold me a piece of scrap for Rs. 1, 62, 000/-.
        How can you expect the customer should allow to repair new bike when there is no fault of customer at all. My bike has bearly completed 350km only. Am I paid to you to get suffer. I don't trust Royal Enfield any more. I need a complete new replacement for my bike. Your poor manufacturing quality causes this damage not me. I need answer to my question, within eight days how can chassis and rear shock ups got damaged??. I am not going to allow to repair my bike, I need replacement in terms of new bike or take your scrap back or else I have to go to consumer court.

            Dear Royal Enfield,

            We have booked the 350 classic black colour on 25.12.2015 at Sri Ram Automobiles. Before booking the bike they have discussed as bike wil deliver in the first week of March 2016. Based on their discussion we have book the bike. Today 04.03.2016 when we discussed with the show room staff they confirmed that bike will deliver after 45 days. How its prolonged? We can't understand the reason for delay.

            We requestinv you to deliver my booking bike as early possible.

                  This bike dose not touch maximum BHP as per given i.e 19.5 BHP because it not going above 95 kmh .I have shown my bike to the dealer and also given a complain to royal infield company but they are saying that this bike cant cross 95 kmh.

                    I was booking a Royal enfield Red colour from 2nd-Feb-2016, the marketing assistant Monalisha Trpathy([protected]) was commited of the bike delivery within 45 day & may be chances of delivery before 29th-Feb-2016. At the time of visit 28th-Feb-2016 the owner Mr.Singh is not responding & bad behave to me told that i cannot commited for delivery time.

                      Tik tik sound from engine

                      I have RE classic 350 bought in June 2015. I am facing issue in engine. I get tik tik sound which is not normal. This sound is not constant. This is now 4th time i am facing this issue. Last sundae when my engine got bit hot, it started with big intensity. When it started, All i could hear is tik tik sound. It was so loud that I was not able to hear engine and silencer sound at all. I was scared that engine might get blast.

                        Dear Sir,

                        I am Pavan Kishore C. I am one of your victim who has given bike Royal Enfield Thunderbird Twinspark (KA 01 EW 762, 2011 model) for service in Electronic City Motors Hosur Road, bangalore, Nearly two month back. Still now it has not delivered to me.

                        For the following problems i have given it for service
                        1. Replace Petrol Tank -- Out of stock, they said will get it from another planet it seems.
                        2. Break Shoe replacement
                        3. Indicator Replacement.

                        I dont think none of this repairs should take more than a WEEK. If if spares are not available in service center, you can get it from anywhere in India in a week. The same thing has been conveyed to me while dropping my vehicle for service by Service Manager.

                        Now it is nearly TWO MONTHS still they are saying today or tomorrow. I dont know when that Tomorrow or Today comes.

                        I have been following up with these GODS almost daily for it, and every time they give same reply. They never say they can't. I am wondering, is it really takes TWO MONTHS to manufacture or get from any where in India one small petrol tank.

                        If you can't able provide proper service please dont sell your products to customers. Please dont ever cheat the customers with your falthu promises. I have been pissed off hearing the same response from these buggers when ever i have called them.

                        If you can't do service please tell us in advance, we can get it done some where in the world but not in the so called official service centers of yours.

                        These buggers are sooo irresponsible that they wont even give any information about the vehicle. But every time I called them they say "We will check and get back to in some time", but i am wondering when that some time comes. In the past two months never called me for any of the things, only I used to call them for the daily status. As though we dont have any work apart from following up with them.

                        This is just information to you, please take care of these kind o[censored]seless buggers otherwise one day anyone can sue for everything, because dont expect same kind patience with everyone.

                        I swear once i get back my bike, i never ever give my bike for service in your so called Authorized service centers, i dont mind even scrap it.

                        Thanks for your wonderful and unbelievable service.

                          Hi i have thunderbird 350 cc bike, from day one there is problem in the speedo meter and fuel tank, the service in the voyager service center in kandivali is BIG robers, they just cheat u, and the service also is very bad, i complained to the company by email, they replied to my mail saying we r sorry, we will resolved the issue soon and regional manager and service manager will call you. I waited for 10 days i didnt receive a call from anyone, after that i email again, then i didnt get any reply.
                          My suggestion dont buy royal enfield bikes there r sooo many complains, company and the service centre just want to make money.the parts also r expensive, u just finish with yr free service, after u go for paid service they will say this part is gone, chain is gone, breaks r gone, cluch is gone, etc everything goes just after u finish with free service. Think before u buy this company bike.

                            I have purchased the Royal Enfield M-Black Electra 2015 Model and i have been raising the same issue since when i have purchased the vehicle regarding the tappet issue and no one has rectified the issue at all and the vehicle has been taken for five times to rectify but still now there is a bad response from the mechanic still the issue has not yet resolved even contacting Mr. prassanna (TSM) and Mr. Arun (TSM) of Royal Enfield.

                            I have left my Bike on 10th of Feb 2016 and got back on 18th of feb 2016 from Sri Manjunath Bullet Garage, Banasawadi, Bangalore in contact with Mr. Arun (TSM) and received my back on 18th but after taking the deliver i just reached home and when i bought notice to Mr. Arun that the bike has not in a expectation what he said me that there will be no noise in the tappets but when i stopped my vehicle to check there was a huge loud noise in the engine and it was making more noise compare to other bikes it has hardly run a Kms of 6864 Kms.

                              Hello sir I AM Syed azizur rahaman i baught a royal enfiels classic 350 50 days ago . i am go to service center for my 2end service then they told me there is problem in clutch plate plese change them and price is 1700 to 1800 but royal enfiel is my new bike why i am facing this problem why company charge a clutch plate and they told me you are change a clutch plate in other local service cenrter then i am say why iam changing a new royal enfield in other local service you are the best service center why i am going another place and my royal enfield classic 350 also a new bike why i am facing this problem . please solve my problem as soon as possible . i don, t ride my bike without fixed a clutch plate.

                                I purchased 500 cc Enfield classic. This is my 6th bike in 30 years. Day one, great disappointment. It is no were near to my 1985 or 2009 standard Enfield. The pick up almost equal to 220 pulsar. The booking, registration, delivery all a mess. No one follows any system or no followups. Nagarathinam ASM avinashi road Coimbatore is my best friend and surprised to get such a poor response. Ist service, I paid 1050 and bill not produced. Third day crankshaft failed. 10 days off road, waiting for a call. Horrible, pathetic situation paying 2 lac rupees.

                                    Earlier owning a Bullet used to be a Pride. My father and grandfather used to proudly tell " You can boldly ride a Bullet from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. The vehicle is so sturdy and trouble free". Alas The story is different now. I suffer even when I ride some 10 kms. It breaks down and has become most unreliable motorcycle. I have lodged my complaint below about Wire Kit and second time Speedometer change recommended by worthless Velavan Motors, Anna Salai. RE is concentrating only on Sales and is not bothered about after sales services unlike other Motor cycle producers who are very keen on after sales services which is why their companies flourish. If RE ignores its after sales service problem, I predict its closure very soon because Byers are not fools. They will propagate against RE and the company may have to wind up like so many big entrepreneurs who too were lethargic.

                                      I bought Bullet Electra 350 cc red in 2009 and from the day one I was not happy with the vehicle because it was causing self start problem and beat was unBullet like (reminds me of Share Auto Beat). I was asked to change batteries on 4 occasions but this problem not solved. Recently before Chennai floods I gave my vehicle for service and after a week took delivery and was told to go for wire kit change and that they did not have stock and was advised to change speedometer too which too was changed just 2 yrs ago. Now, my vehicle has become dead and when Velavan contacted, they say that wire kit is to be changed as that is the problem but "NO STOCK". Nearly 2. Months and still they say the same thing "NoO STOCK". My vehicle is lying abandoned for so many days because of this indifferent attitude of Velavan Motors, Anna Salai.
                                      I think I have no choice but to go to a street mechanic now which all along I have avoided.
                                      Royal Enfield customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
