Royal Enfield(Bullet)- Was my dream bike and with lots of struggle I had purchased Royal Enfield Classic Silver-350 on January, 2015. Problem:-1 [protected][protected] Its been just 7-8 months i have brought the bike, Battery is now completely dead. When i ask the service center guy about the battery issues, he was not having any convincing answer and he told, daily at least there are minimum of 5-6 such battery issue complaints are coming up. And he also said that the battery problem is reported to the company also, still they have'nt got any response. They took 5 days to normal service and battery replacement of my bike( And i am not sure whether the replaced battery is of the same bad quality or of good quality ! As service center has not given me any warranty card or any receipt of battery replacement). I have not seen any other company's brand new bikes getting this sort of problems. I am pissed off buying Bullet. I would request Eicher(Royal Enfield) to take back my bike return my hard earned money. Problem:-2 [protected][protected] Fork oil leakage: Normally i will handle and ride my bike very smoothly. This was my 4th service. From the second month of my bike purchase, there is oil leakage in the front fork. Since from 2nd service i have been telling the service center person regarding the fork oil leakage, but they were just wiping it away and tell issue is resolved. For the same issue i had been to 3-service centers and the response from all the service centers are same. Its been a week i got serviced and for that day when i got deliver from service center, the condition was good. From next day there is more oil leakage in the front forks. Since 8 months I have not found a single good Royal Enfield servicing center in Bangalore. Problem:-3 [protected][protected] Bad Service: When i call the service center they were not picking calls for hours. After calling them 25 times, finally they responded saying "Battery has not came from the company". And the Bike was also partially serviced. When i am taking delivery from service, i pointed out to the service center guy on every issue i have told to resolve. Even the lubrication of chains and other parts was not done properly. None was satisfactory. Only water service was done perfectly. I think company is offering Free-service only for water service(With 1- Year Warranty). ============================================================= My question is: [protected][protected]--- Will the Battery issue same for all Royal Enfield bikes(As my friend who purchased along with has also same battery issue)? Where could i find good and trust worthy service center in Bangalore? Are the Servicing guys not trained or skilled? As far as i know Royal Enfield is famous for its quality and Royality. Is it because of the demand, the quality of Royal Enfield bikes going worse? Or my understanding is wrong? Whom should i contact for all my problems? And i want to know who will is responsible to resolve all these issues! ============================================================= I have wasted lot of my time and money investing on Royal Enfield(Which was Dream bike). I would kindly request the company(Eicher-Royal Enfield) to resolve all the issues and answer all my questions asap. Or it would be great if the company take back my bike and return my hard earned money. ========================================================= Please i would expect the response asap.     During the delivery on my Royal Enfield Desert Storm 500, since there were too many scratches on the fuel tank and mud guard, the sales manager promised me to replace the parts within 2 days after delivery. But since then nothing has been changed from them. I am calling them everyday and their response is "we do no have any vehicle for delivery. please wait". And from last two days, no one from the service are answering my calls.       AKAN show room thiruvannamalai...last month[protected] i purchased royal enfieild classic 350 black they said at booking time ( on april month ) we would be give you your choice model of bumper but when bike delivery time that bumper is out of stock there show room then they said and promised me to with in a week we ll arrange your bumper but still no response for there so kindly taking care of my mail as a complaint ..and also many time i called the area manager but he also not response me... customer name T.K.Babu from Mel thiruvadathanur post ...

      I am not happy providing 1 star to Royal Enfield customer support. I booked a classic 350 by June and they committed to deliver it by 90 days till now not delivered which is more than 15 days the committed time. I booked in Chennai - The Legend Motors (one of the worst customer service i ever seen). My sincere advise to the people who is planning to book bullet, please do not book with Legend motors. Nobody is responsible. you will not get proper status update and you will end up in escalating it to high officials. Even after escalation it will remain the same. So try out with any other show room and check with your friends where can you book the bullets. Worst service provider Legend Motors.

        My bike(kao5jf 6869) got break down 2 months back, near rt Nagar and took it to Mehboob garage rt Nagar.they said rr router has burnt and been replaced, still the battery indication was blinking, so they said to take it to royal Enfield Service Center at bannerghata road to do mapping. When I took the vehicle to bannerghata service center for mapping, they said the battery is not charging, so asked me to change the battery. After replacing the battery the battery indicator was showing perfect, so I have taken my vehicle to sravana belagola for a ride.on the way itself the same issue happened and the battery got down and the vehicle was in immovable condition.hence I hired a goods vehicle and dropped at Sri sadguru sai motors at dasarahalli on 9th sep.I have explained to the person who have attended.after 1week they said I should replace the battery again, which already done.now the issue is wiring loom has to change which may take another week or more.ultimately my time, money and patience doesn't have any values subject to Royal Enfield. I feel embarrassed to inform that like me, many people are the sufferer's, having purchase the great Indian bike, without giving the proper solutions. I am waiting to go abroad for some days, as this issue is prolonging my journey as well as my patience.Is it really value to keep this bike with me or in garage for weeks and months together after spending 2lacks of ruppes.your suggestions is valuable

          This is to bring your kind notice with my utmost disappointment, i had purchased a Royal Enfield Classic 350cc from the Dealer "Aditi Motors, Jaipur" dated 27 November 2014. Since the date i am completely dissatisfied with the motorbike & services. I have reported the matter to the dealer several times but despite all my pleadings they have not made good the defect which is indeed regrettable and highly unbusiness like. Issues with the bike: 1)Heavy engine oil leakage. 2)Handle bubbling. 3) Electric start not working intermittently. 4)Tapid noise since the day bike was purchased, despite of many initial services the noise defect was not made good. Aditi Motors took more than 7 days each time of the bike given for service, (4-5 times) mentioning each day that they are figuring out with the trial and error method to rectify the issues. After following up on each day with reckless response i had to call the area service manager: Mr.Deepak Sharma, he suggested to give the last service try with aditi motors so i did the same following with the same reckless response, furthermore Mr.Deepak again referred for the service to JMS service centre. Bike was given facing the same issues to JMS, they too did not handled the query as per the requirement, after the second service with JMS upto a minimum extent the tapid noise was reduced further resulting to new problems like: Problem with right indigator, the bike is not smooth anymore, disturbance in gear change, electric start issues and heavy clutch load. Currently the bike is in no condition to ride, as i remove the bike from the side stand it starts with the oil leakage. After service with JMS the bike has been messed up and doesnot even run on the minimum idling and has lost its average pickup. Now with the expectation for compensation i request to finally call upon to: 1) Replace the bike with a new bike/or 2) Return the bike price & charges paid.             Dear Sir,
            It is with deep regret that I am sending this mail to inform all designated authorities about the atrocities committed by St. Mary's Motors. I am extremely shocked at the poor level of customer service offered by St. Mary's motors .
            Kindly allow me to state all the details from that fateful moment When I chose to book a Royal Enfield.
            On 23 November 2014, I paid St. Mary's Motors, Ernakulam a booking amount of Rs. 5, 000. The model booked was a classic 350 cc. I was promised delivery of my booked vehicle within 7 months ( 23 June 2015).
            From 23 November 2014 till 23 June 2015, I did not receive any mode of communication regarding delivery/status of my vehicle . On 1 September 2015, I walked into St. Mary's motors to enquire about the status of my vehicle booking . I was asked to pay Rs 49, 400 immidiately since I had initially paid the booking amount of Rs 5, 000. I paid Rs 49, 400 on 3 September 2015. St. Marys motors informed me that the on road price of my vehicle including fitting, registration, road tax & insurance would come to Rs 1, 54, 400. This price also includes my loan processing fee & 1 EMI. HDFC bank successfully approved my vehicle loan amount of Rs 99, 500. St. Marys motors then told me that my vehicle would be delivered within 10 working days from the moment I paid Rs 49, 400. The receipt attached with this mail will confirm my payment date as 3 September 2015. This indicates that I was supposed to receive delivery of my vehicle on 15 September 2015. Again, during these 10 working days, I am sorry to say that there was no communication from St. Mary's motors to me. On 15 September 2015, I visited St. Mary's Motors again & I was informed that due to internal problems of St. Mary's motors, the bill was not prepared . This was mainly due to the carelessness of the sales executive Mr. Ashwin ( mobile number +91- [protected]) .
            When I insisted on the delivery of my vehicle on 15 September 2015, st marys motors handed over my vehicle to me on 15 September 2015 without taking temporary registration . This itself shows the irresponsible and illegal ways in which St. Mary's motors function . How can St. Mary's motors give me a vehicle without temporary registration ?

            I was given temporary registration on 18 September 2015. How can St. Mary's motors sell me a vehicle on 18 September 2015 but give me delivery of the same vehicle on 15 September 2015 ? I have all documents as proof scanned & attached with this mail for your kind reference. This indicates that I was given a temporary registration only on 18 September 2015 . This incident by St. Mary's Motors has broken all laws of the Indian Government . An illegal activity once committed must be reported which is what I am doing . I do hope strict action is taken against St. Mary's motors .
            Now, after all these unfortunate incidents, on 1 October 2015, I took my vehicle to RTO Mattancherry to register my vehicle . When the RTO verified my vehicle documents, it came into the limelight that my vehicle didn't have road tax from the date of delivery till 1 October 2015. This is another crime committed by St. Mary's Motors .
            I called St. Mary's motors to complain regarding the non-payment of my road tax & I was given an unsatisfactory reply from St. Mary's motors . I was told that it was their ( st Mary's motors ) internal issue and they paid the road tax online on 1 October 2015.

            I was made to drive my vehicle without road tax due to the negligence of St Mary's motors . Inspite of paying the required amount to st Mary's motors, I was cheated . I have also been informed by RTO ( Regional Transport Officer ) that I have been levied a fine for driving my vehicle on road without paying road tax . Road tax was supposed to be paid within 7 days from the date of delivery by St. Mary's Motors . I have documents from st Mary's motors proving all the above incidents .
            Please allow me to inform you that I had to take leave on 1 October 2015 from my work to get my vehicle permanent registration number . I didn't get this on 1 October 2015. 2 October 2015 is a public holiday which has lead me to take leave from my work on 3 October 2015.

            It was my dream to own a Royal
            Enfield with pride but all the related above incidents has dampened my spirt & I have no words to express my dissatisfaction at the poor level of customer service provided by St. Mary's motors . St Mary's motors has caused me enough stress and moreover I was forced to pay Rs 3, 800 for extra fittings even when this amount was included in the Rs 1, 54, 400. This clearly proves that st Mary's motors is overcharging customers and committing crime after crime .

            I am pleading with all the designated & responsible authorities reading this mail to please help me . Kindly advice me what I must do next and please take appropriate & strict action against everyone responsible in this mishap.

            All the relevant documents have been attached with this mail .
            Awaiting a favourable reply at the earliest.

              I went to Suri Sales Pvt Ltd, Ranibagh, Haldwani for servicing of my Royal Enfield Electra Motor Cycle. The battery of vehicle was in excellent condition when it was handed over for servicing. But after servicing, when the vehicle was returned back to me, it was found that Battery was discharged. And they are not changing the battery. Hours have been passed but they are not giving any positive response nor changing the battery.

                Thunderbird 350cc breakdown on next day of delivery due to faulty relay.

                I got delivery of a Thunderbird 350cc on 24th September 2015 from Sairam Autocraft, Mahadevpura, Bangalore. On the very next day, while riding, the bike started giving strange sound. The bike ceases to switch off even after turning the key to OFF position and burning smell also came. I took the bike to CVS motors, Palace road, and they identified the issue as faulty relay cable.                 Hi,

                I am Sachin Prabhakaran, and I bought Royal Enfield Classic 350 from ' Prince Motors, Safiya Building, BOC Road, Palakkad - 678014, Kerala ' for Rs.138828 on 16th June 2014. The Engine and Chassis number are as follows " ME3U3S5COEE474384 & U3S5COEE474384 ". From day 1, i had self start and little tappet noise issue for which the dealers said its there in all Royal Enfields and this is how they sound. Since the sound was only a little, i cared less and rode it but the self start was a joke on my bike, it never really worked when i wanted. If I Switch off my engine in traffic signal and when signal turns green I would be the one to create a traffic jam because my self is not working and i would be kick starting it in the middle of the road. After reaching 500kms, the tappet noise increased and i even posted a video in youtube to ask for guidance on how to repair it as the service center at palakkad which is also owned by Prince Motors said the new UCE Engines come with Hydraulic Tappets and it automatically adjusts itself and they were not authorized to touch the insides of the engine and also promised me that it won't be present after 10000kms .                 Then I made a trip from Chennai to Bangalore on 20th Dec 2014 after completing 500kms engine initial run and on my way back i ran over a gutter and both my front and rear wheel Rim got bent (Seriously???) and I had to limp my way up to Chennai. The next day I took it to Royal Enfield Service Center, PLOT NO. 350 TO 354, 4TH LINK STREET, NEHRU NAGAR, KOTTIVAKKAM (OMR), CHENNAI 600096 and did servicing and told them about wheel bent and tappet noise issue. For repairing the wheel bent they took it to some 3rd party Deen Wheel Works near to their service center for which they charged me Rs. 300 even though I was under Free Service. The servicing they did was only oil change (Didn't even lubricate chain, clutch and accerator) and i was charged Rs.350 as labour. For tappet noise issue i think Royal Enfield have trained the service center guys well . they also said the same dialogue "Sir, the new UCE Engine comes with Hydraulic tappets and they are not authorized to repair it. it will automatically get adjusted ". (I now know the reason why they said like that back then, i will explain it at the end)

                After a month, tappet noise started creeping the hell out of me but i was helpless. I was worried if i give my bike for repair to local bullet expert my warranty will be voided. so couldn't do anything. The wheel bent was not properly done by the service center and I again took the bike OMR Royal Enfield Service center and they again charged Rs.200 for rectifying it as they said now the front suspension is also bent after that incident where I ran over a gutter on my first long trip . I gave the money and prayed that I shouldn't get anymore issues

                I forgive all these issues because I understood Royal Enfield is a Vintage Bike and I shouldn't expect reliability from it. Now I again made a Bangalore trip with my friends and this time I stopped at a tea stall and after having Tea when I Started the bike, the bike did not start . Not even the kick starter was working. I admit i am not a expert in mechanics so i was again helpless and the nearest workshop was 25kms away.. I at least thought I will get reliability of Rs 40000 Bike but this is what Royal enfield has to offer for 1.4lakhs.Really shame on you. I purchased a Rope My friend who own Hero Hunk and he never cares for it and does service once in a blue moon was working fine without any issue. Even I did a service before doing this long trip he did 3 months back. I purchased a Rope and tied it to his bike and brought my bike to nearest workshop like a jackass. He was an expert and found that the fuse was gone and replaced it with extra fuse provided. 5rs issue caused a lot of tension and hate towards your brand.

                Now I Completed 10000kms and wow.. its a surprise...!!! The tappet noise is now two times it was at 500kms. Here is the link to youtube i posted after completing 10000kms

                And whenever i asked the RE Service center mechanic .. voila... same dialogue... "This is hydraulic tappet.. etc etc.. "

                Now during my normal office morning ride, I kick started the bike and wow... i thought everything inside the engine broke.. there was lot of cranking noise after did a kick start and that's it.. The self start didn't work after that and i had to rely on kick to miraculously work. even though it worked I had to keep my hands on accelerator otherwise the engine would turn off. I described about this incident to my FB group and many said its due to clutch sprag bearing damage and i need to replace the bearing, and unlucky me my warranty period got over by July 2015 and I was on August.. So when I asked the same OMR Service center guys they said we need to replace the whole block and it will cost 5000rs ... but they had no stock available and told me to come after 3 days. And just for you to know.. I have to travel 25kms in OMR Road to reach this place this 25kms will take almost 1 hr during peak traffic hours and not to mention about the heat from sun.. so after 3 days i again went to repair and they said the stock hasn't come yet please come on monday and for sure it will be available. I again went on Monday and they collected the bike and I returned to office via bus in the hottest chennai climate... and after 2 hours the mechanic called and said "sir, the sprag stock is not available and you can take your bike back".. !!! If that mechanic was near me i would have punched him in his face for fooling me.. Do you think we customers are stupid??? I shouted at him and he listened as his routine job and that's it I decided that i will never tale my bike again to RE Service center and gave my bike to a local expert bullet mechanic and do you know what??? He got bearing from pudupet for 1800rs and fixed it for 2000rs . Yes he had to search for it a lot since RE now sells clutch sprag as a whole for 4800rs but for me only the bearing was gone so why should i pay more??? After this fix... One of my long running Self start issue got rectified and its now working perfectly so that means you guys sold me a malfunctioning poor quality bike from the start itself and cheated me by saying all the lies.

                Now my Handle fork is making some noise for which they said its bearing issue. and my left pilot lamp is not working.

                Now it sounds like a Generator rather than a bike engine..!!! and people started asing " Hey whats wrong with your bike, why its making metal clicking noises".. 1.4lakhs they say... When I asked friend what could be the problem he said the tappet needs to be changed and it cost 3500rs . So that is why Service center guys kept on saying that "UCE Engine comes with Hydraulic tappets and it will automatically adjust by itself. after crossing 10000kms you wont face this issue." that's because after 10000kms my warranty got over and I have to pay for the repair. If i didn't believe their story and asked them to fix.. they should fix this issue for free since it should be covered under warranty. Nice game played by you Royal Enfield

                I will never allow any of my friends/Family or anybody to take Royal Enfield .

                I have all the proofs such as service bills, repair bills, posted videos for all the issues i have faced and all that is left is giving several complaints in consumer Court .
                Which I will do if i don't get this issue fixed for free. Don't expect me to believe your story this time.. because you tested my patience and its time you test my anger..

                And for the record... Prince motors were caught red handed doing fraud business by you guys and terminated their licence months after my bike delivery so am sure everything will be connected.

                  Sir my bike battery leaked about 10 days i daily complaint at showroom in jogbala motors but no response my chamber cover is totally damaged n battery cover or tool kit box all are damaged n my bike is only 1 month 20 days old no one can response i think you will solved my problem other wise i will complaint on the consumer court

                    Hi this is Hari sudarsan from coimbatore ( [protected]). I bought CLASSIC 350 BLACK 11months back from Royal Enfield showroom coimbatore. From the date of purchase i am facing only problems with that bike. i have registered this complaint already in this site 8 months back, so that i got call from the service manager but the issue was not sorted. Normally the service will be every 3months or 3000 kms but i will be taking my bike to showroom for every 1000 kms. From past 3months i am facing new problems like If i drive at a speed of 90 kms or more the bike will be switch off totally on the middle of the road. i took this issue to showroom ( SHERRIF MOTORS COIMBATORE), 3days they worked on my bike, still it is not sorted. I don't know whether the mechanics know the work or not. because of their improper work i am facing loss. While i travel to office or travel regarding business purposes i have faced lots of problems and switched off so that i can't able to complete my work on time. and also i am facing too many loss. COMPANY MANAGERS PROMISED ME THAT THEY WILL PAY ME FOR THE LOSS IF ANY HAPPENS BECAUSE OF THEIR SERVICE ISSUES. I HAVE RECORDED THE CALLS. IF I ASK NOW FOR THE COMPENSATION THEY ARE NOT GIVING ANY PROPER RESPONSE. Royal Enfield spares are totally . They don't care about the quality and customer satisfaction. company is only money motive. I have changed the following parts till date :
                    1. clutch cable
                    2. spark clutch,
                    3. cylinder barring,
                    4. crankshaft,
                    5. chain,
                    6. AMP meter,
                    7. Accelerator parts,
                    8. Few more parts changed in cylinder and many more.
                    Is this normal???? how to drive the bike with full of patches?????
                    After this i am facing service issues as well. I have poor for everything. I need justice. I have adjusted till date but no use. I can't drive this bike anymore. i need replacement and compensation as well immediately. Please help me this company is cheating the customers with their poor quality of products. I REQUEST THE CONCERN DEPARTMENT TO CHECK THE PARTS ARE UPTO THE STANDARD, AND ALSO TO CHECK THE MECHANICS ARE TRAINED ENOUGH. I have done my service on time still i am facing poor service and quality issues.
                    please help me i am totally wretched. i am typing this message at a very very very annoying state. This is my second complaint against this company but they don't care about any complaints they are sluggish. Please take my complaint very serious, if not the company will be cheating many like me.

                      I am a Viraj Limbadia from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. I am Using Royal Enfield Classic 350 (Registration no:U3S5CODB234425) purchased in March 2013, from Sarabhai Motors, Ahmedabad. From Last few days i had an unusual knocking sound from the engine, which on inspection at Sarabhai service centre, Ahmedabad was informed that the CRANK of my engine had issues and they need to work on it and was given a initial cost of minimum 15000/- rupees for the job. I find this very unlikely to have such a major issue inspite of maintaining and servicing of the bike at your certified service centres. Considering the cost of the bike and ownership i deeply regret my decision to buy a Royal Enfield with such a faulty engine and poor build quality provided to me as a customer.Current Kilometre count is 20, 000.

Engine No : U355COFF817293 Frame No:ME3U3S5C1FF235406 Dealer Code: 5047 After the 1st service which was done at Rimik Motors Pvt. Ltd Gwalior, I am facing the pickup issue. I have been to service centre for 2 times regarding this issue.But i am still facing the same issue. They says the pickup is all right but in actual i am feeling this issue.They are not ready to Fix it So kindly resolve my issue i as soon as possible. i didnt waste my money for the junk.                             One of my friend has bought classic 350 on 30 / 07 / 2015. And which was sold to me on 10 / 09 / 2015 with 140kms running. Hence the first service was also not completed. On purchase i wish for the service of vehicle. So went to the service station with service book at 1030 hrs ( opening time is 10 am - 7 pm). I was denied by saying that without prior notice, we are not accepting vehicle. So i noted the booking no. S and called them plenties of time but no body was lifting call. Hence i went at0950 hrs on 12 / 09. Mr bhavin at service station told me to come on wednesday, as they were full of load. On arrival ok wednesday so called repeated the same and called me on saturday i. E 19 / 09. And serviced the vehicle. They have made us to think, why we have purchased the re vehicle. Today also non of the person has attended the call.

                              The Worst Servicing offered, Not Organised, Doesn't Treat Customers Well, Doesn't Listen To Customer's Complaints About The Vehicle, Never Rectifies Problems, Delays The Servicing, Cheats On The Spare Parts. I have had severe problems with the engine, the chassis and handling and I have been persistently getting the vehicle checked up and have addressed all problems to the service centres, but none of them took them seriously. I have tried with multiple RE authorised service centres and no one till now has rectified problems with the vehicle. I hate the brand now. I just want to scrap my vehicle in their stupid garages. Next thing I'm going to do is file a case in consumer court.

                                Dear Sir, My name is A.V. Vishnu, from Hyderabad city purchased royal Enfield thunder bird 350cc from Royal Engineers, Uppal Hyderabad. At the time of Delivery they failed to deliver the bike on time and meanwhile i faced a lot of problems, but any how i got the bike on 05/10/2013. After the purchase i had some service problems in bike for which i went for service to the same dealer, Till now it has been not more than 2 years not only the royal engineers @ uppal, all the other dealers like orange @ neeredmet etc., there are not a single efficient mechanic i have seen at all the dealers. Especially, Royal Engineers Uppal there are no efficient technicians and they have an habit of making the customer to wait a minimum of 2-3 days to complete the service. Even though after completing the service, the problems remains as it is, they just change the engine oil & air filter and does water wash to that bike, this is what they ll say SERVICING. For which they ll take 2-3 days. HOW WILL THE ROYAL ENFIELD MANUFACTURERS GIVE PERMISSION TO THE DEALERS TO SELL THE BIKE WITHOUT CONSIDERING ANY SERVICE INITIATIONS?? service is what the minimum criteria for any bike..As the dealers wont have efficient technicians & enough number of staff. Dont go for royal enfield bikes especially from 2012, as the parts are also not upto the standard.

                                  I am a proud customer of royal Enfield but now I am feeling pity because of the low quality material used on my vehicle I facing very big problem due to Royal Enfield Company Using low quality equipments & Material used on Royal Enfield bikes. Now my bike runs almost 11910Km. Now I face the problem is that the exhaust has been broken while I am riding the bike and fell on the road without any accident. Suddenly I went to showroom (St Mary’s Motors, Cochin, Kerala) but they were helpless. Showroom people told me that the guaranty period is over but that take the photos of that exhaust and they convinced that this happened due to very low quality material. I am again remembering that this incident is happened within 1 year and 3 months from the sale of date. As per Royal Enfield Company reply I contact Kerala Territory Service Manager Mr.Anoop Gopi. He informed me that Royal Enfield Company reject my goodwill form because I do not do any paid services after the free services. But again I remembering that I am completed my all free services the Royal Enfield authorised service centre and I am unsatisfied with all the free service from the authorised service centre. So I do not think to do any paid services on these service station especially St Mary’s Motors, Cochin. What is the connection between paid service and this damaged exhaust? This is 100 percent true that this is purely manufacturing defect. Please see the damaged exhaust photos. I don’t understand the explanations from Territory Service Manager Mr.Anoop Gopi. I am thinking to go for a legal action against this issue.

Dear sir, Subject: Engine issue in 6 month old Royal Enfield bike This is to bring to your notice the severe disappointment I have received since the purchase of Royal Enfield motorbike, COLOUR: SILVER MODEL: Classic 350. I had purchased said bike on 30th January, 2015 after hearing rave reviews of said model from peers and relatives, with hopes of good after sales service. Within a week o[censored]sage, I heard an unusual noise originating from the engine end of the bike, and proceeded to inform the Service Centre at Ram Motors, Nerul, Navi Mumbai about the same. The service centre officials proceeded to ignore my complain, in turn advising me to ignore the noise and hope that the noise ceases after some time. With my 1st free service coming up, I submitted the bike to the Service Center on 20th February, 2015(Customer Copy of Service sheet attached), informing them of the same. Yet, my complaint wasn't heeded to and the bike was returned to me after its usual service, the noise still emanating from the engine. In another issue, the bike's BATTERY was found DEAD within 4 months of purchase. The noise issue, continued till my 4th free service, with no avail nor any attention paid to the noise originating from the engine. Proceeding which, I mailed a short complaint to your Customer Service, following which I was called upon by Ram Motors(the Service Center). Coinciding with the 4th Free Service, I submitted the bike again to the Service Centre, on advice of the Area Manager. The bike was in possession of said Service Centre for a week, following which when I enquired about the bike and the issue, I was informed and I quote, "that the engine HAD BEEN OPENED and changes made to the CRANKSHAFT BEARING." Another issue springs up at this breach of trust: The engine was opened WITHOUT AVAILING MY CONSENT(the Owner). The question, along with the abovementioned wrongdoing of the service centre officials, is that how can a bike begin displaying engine problems WITHIN a month of purchase? The abovementioned action has resulted in a DECREASED RE-SALE VALUE of my bike A 3 month old bike, had already served me a DEAD BATTERY in a short duration, uncharacteristic of any two wheeler, let alone one AS REPUTED AS A ROYAL ENFIELD. After 6 months of purchase and multiple issues, along with appalling after sales service, a defective piece such as this one should be ENTIRELY REPLACED. I bring this to your notice, dear sirs, for my repeated pleas have not earned me any respite nor attention from your customer service and have SEVERELY dented my confidence in the VINTAGE LUXURY TRUSTED BRAND that was once ROYAL ENFIELD. This experience has left a bitter aftertaste and I say this with anguish, but you have lost a valued customer.                                       Dear Royal Enfield, I request you to draw your attention to the issues which I am facing with my Bike Royal Enfield model Electra 350CC. I am forced to write this mail as my experiences with the Showroom and the service centre (located at Okhla) are not at all pleasant and satisfying. My bike is two months old and the saree guard installed on the rear side of my bike broke off around one month back. The saree guard acts as a support to the main frame breaking of which is making the rear part of the bike fragile. I discussed this issue with the workshop manager and had asked for the replacement as it was under warranty. Also, I asked for the reason of such unserviceability within a month for which I could not get any reasonable answer. Mr Dinesh (the workshop manager) agreed to resolve this issue and as per his commitment I went to the showroom twice but to my surprise the subject item was not available in the stores; for which the store person had given me a prior confirmation on call. With time, I have observed that the spares are never readily available in the RE stores which is not expected from such a big service centre like the one in Okhla (South Delhi Motorcycles). On repeated enquiries with the workshop staff for the new sareeguard, I was told that they will update me once it is available in the store but it's been two weeks since I received any calls or updates from them. To add to this, the management never provides the suggestion or complaint register whenever asked for and in reply they say that they do not maintain any such kind of register. I reitirate that RE is a big brand in two wheeler segment and this type of low quality material being used may depreciate its brand image and will make people loosing their faith in the monster. Further, the quality of services provided by your showrooms/ workshops are far below the desired satisfaction level of a customer. This is simply because o[censored]ntrained, casual and irresponsible staff employed all over. I am very happy with the bike, but the response of your staff always forces me to write such mails to you. Request you to initiate the matter at the earliest and do the needful as I am highly upset with the poor response from the dealer as well as the service centre.
