I booked a Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 cc blue color at tambaram showroom chennai in the month of February. They said itd a waiting period of 2 months but even today (31st July) it is not been delivered. They say it will be delivered only in the month of October. Every time we call the showroom there's no proper response

    My (Five) days old Bike Received on 20th July 2015 Royal Enfield Classic 500cc Silver in color is in the H.S.R SERVICE Station SR Nagar, Bangalore, Not even number plated, rode only 18KM, Bought in from HSR Store which is in Lalbagh Road, Bangalore What Happened? My old habit with previous Bike Pulsar 150cc keeping the wiping cloth just below the tank, did the same with my new Enfield (Incident date 24th July 2015) in the middle of Road speed of 40KM bike back tire was sudden stop bike started skirting nearly 8-9 times somehow I managed handling without falling down, and god bless lucky nothing came and hit me from behind from heavy moving traffic (Lifestyle Signal) had to stop in the middle of road and I had no idea what could have happened than I moved the bike aside of road such a heavy bike with the help of people around there as the back tire was stuck (not moving), than I see they was a cloth stuck in the chain, so guess what happened is small piece of wiping cloth rolled to a chain and went inside the damaged crank box, Bike Reached HSR Service Station after checked, Manager says if we have to change the Crank Box will cost you Rs. 25, 000/- (Thousand) new crank Rs. 17, 000/- plus Oil/Labor charges altogether will come up to Rs. 25, 000/- so easy to say, (Customer) I was very up-set and disappointed, I said but it should be replaced how can such a small piece of cloth go break the parts inside, Manager said it’s NOT a manufacturing defect ;) so I get it it’s my mistake that I have kept the wiping cloth there, but what about the quality factor which a small cloth can also break this type of metal, for god sake its (ROYAL ENFIELD A HUGE BRAND)and to hear such a thing was not pleasing me at all, Ah he did mention this was the case received, Customer- than I asked what if insurance can cover the damage, Manager- it’s not accident or something so it’s No basically, Customer- I was imagining now here I could have lost my life in this incident but nobody would understand this part, I was not totally Disappointed until yesterday 27th July 2015 when I drop down to the service station and saw all the Engine part's open into pieces, it was not a good feeling at all for a five days old AS NEW bike trust me, and it is gone for welding process to fix the outer part of crank if it gets done good enough if no than the crank has to be changed, End of the Day, What is Warrantee, What is Insurance, What is buying a Brand Product it makes no deference; effort from people is there but everything at a price Tag, And this Bike I had bought for my younger brother to gift him on his Birthday which is in 4 days 1st August his Birthday :( now I just wish to fix this bike and have to lie to my brother saying it’s a brand new bike here you go :( A suggestion please add this part to say to your customers NOT TO KEEP ANY CLOTH BELOW THE TANK in the time of introduction/Explanation on time of delivery to customer, this lack of acknowledge, can cost someone’s life,

      Its now high time i should right to you, and if further no steps took to solve problem i have to place my file in court regarding customer act.
      I am ankur saxena from navi mumbai, i have classic500, cyan colour purchased on 8th june 2013 from pratik motors, panvel, mumbai.
      Its a regular amc service, service man blown up my ecu and giving arbitary explanations later he accepted and service in charge assured of replacement of ecu.
      Its been almost 15 days since my bike is been standing in there garage no call i have received from them yet, i visited on wednesday 22, july2015, as they told ki approval from higher authorities got approved later when i reached they were saying its still pending.
      Now its 20th day almost, no reply i have got until now.
      So its a kind request to look into the matter or i have to take another road beacuse this kind of service is not tolerable by royal enfield or any other organisation.
      Please look into the matter otherwise i have to knock court regarding customer bluffing case, and its been to inform you overtime i get my bike serviced odometer cable gets break or non - functional how is that possible. Please contact pratik motors about it.

        Hi, I bought Desert storm dated 11/09/2014 from Platinum Auto, Fatima nagar, Pune, Maharashtra. According to me this is turning out to be the biggest mistake of my life. I spent Rs 1.75 lacs and all I have got till now is misery from your organisation. My bike came up with a defect of fuel injector soon in like 2 to 3 months. I showed up this issue to Platinum Auto service centre and they said theres no issue at first. But after struggling to even start my bike they said we will do something. They found some workaround and dont know what they did and the bike was working fine for a few days. Then came up another issue.The bike started to wobble while driving. After chasing your poor service centre's governance I spent 2 weeks chasing them gave up my bike 4 to 5 times repeatedly and after finally warning them about consumer court they again found some workaround and made it fine. But the issue with the fuel injector is becoming a huge pain for me now as my bike being in warranty phase I am not getting my bike repaired to perfection. Please stop making fake promises and stop spending a common man's huge amount in some useless bike. For you 1.75 lacs must be a small amount but for me it is not. I am writing this mail because frustrated and saturated wish your company's services. Hope my plea to you will make some things work for me or I will seriously have to take some severe action against your organisation which I want to avoid.         mine 2011 classic 350 chassis broke and for me the excuse is out of warranty.I filed a consumer case yesterday.Please do file one if they dont do anything also ask the dealer or service about the warranty period because i heard nowits 2 years.Dont waste time file a case and screw their happiness

          Hi, -I have recently purchased a Thunderbird 350 stone Purchased the bike from HSR Services Lalbagh road Bangalore on[protected] -After my first service, I'm not able to get the initial pick up, the bike goes off frequently and it gives a very weird sound after crossing 50 and vibrates -The service center of HSR services in SR Nagar Bangalore told me that there is an air block issue and the required petrol is not reaching the engine hence the above mentioned problems are occurring Its been more than a week they say the parts are not available and asked me to enquire from the nearby showrooms about the parts and if available I should ask them to send it to SR nagar service station -IS THIS MY WORK ? AM I SUPPOSE TO DO THIS AFTER PAYING A HUGE AMOUNT FOR THE BIKE ? THIS IS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL The person who asked me to do this was a mechanic named Vinayak and the phone numbers are [protected] and[protected] I received the bike after two weeks of down Payment after visiting at the showroom several times and now a defective bike..even the pass light does not function I hope this issue is solved at the earliest . I did not buy the bike so that I visit the service station often missing my work, Also after First service the oil was not clean it was still dirty and dark not clear, I also suspect that the engine oil was just topped up and not completely replaced Regards Varun Bajaj

            Sir, I Was purchased a Royal Enfield Classic 350 CC motor cycle from Khurana Automobiles, C-29/69, Maldahiya, Varanasi-221002 (Uttar Pradesh) on[protected] as per Sale Invoice No.1338. my Engine No.U-355COEB524110 and Key No.2745. Your bike is very costly but you are using very low quality material at this time in the bike. Therefore your key is very small and very lowest quality. My both key are damaged (whenever twisted with handle and divided in two parts). I was using the duplicate key after making in market. Your key is very thin and small and poor quality.               Recently on 04/07/2015 I got My Classic desert storm to regular service and the Service center ( Lamba Enterprises, Tilak Nagar) told me that there is white smoke coming from the exhaust and this would require engine work which will cost around 25-30k. Details - The bike clocked ~14000KMs, purchased in July 2012, serviced regularly from authorized service center, hardly ridden and never been to a long trip, how can there be an issue of white smoke ? Royal enfield authorized service center( Lamba Enterprises, Tilak Nagar) is saying that the bike needs engine work and would cost 25-30k. Also, there are no signs of pickup loss and drop in mileage. The only observation was - The bike exhumes white smoke once the accelerator is revved up. ( See the Youtube video) This seems totally unjustified. Royal enfield is known for its robust built and powerful performance. Issues like this marks a dent on the reputation. Its hard to digest that ROYAL ENFILED Classic 500 needs engine work at ~14000 kms even after regular service from authorized service center. I request royal enfield to look into this issue ASAP. After that I am facing problem one new problem, like shocker problem, brake issue and so many time repairs engine and fuel tank missing from the service centre but after the repairs, again i face the same problem. Currently now i am facing stearing problem ( BUBBBLING) I put the bike in service centre ( Manzil motors last two weeks but i am not getting result.                     I had purchased a royal Enfield electra last month on 9 jun. After 500 km when I go to the service centre after two hours later that attend to me; I requested them ple u checed my veh & change my initial Oil. After four hour when I asked the service manager he told me ur veh is readdy bt when I check I found my veh isn't clean. I was totally upset and asked the service manager abt that bt the manager can't listen to me.. So i request to u ple traced out.

                        hi i bought my classic 350 in the year2011 wen i rode about 18000 km my bike chassis got broken just above side stand, without any accident i took to the service center in Bangalore they told they will not do any thing because its already off the warranty period and told to weld it by yourself and i don't no how poorly these people are manufacturing these vehicles and now same region at right side also it has been cracked what i have to do now... i need help as my bike chassis needs to be changed now it costs about 11000 so now how to invest once again i need some help in this

                        Hello same issue with me.. mine is a 2012 model.. the left side of the frame where engine is mou ted that weld joint was cracked.. so i repaired it welded it nicely putting more re enforcement.. now in last month i noticed the right one cracked from same exact point where the lefe was cracked.. m worried for fellow riders who if in case miss to check this before their rides and if they happen to travel laddakh or mountain regions.. how big disaster it would be.. i planned to sell off my royal enfield.. after 1991 their quality of motorcycles is drastrically dropped to zero..

                          my 2011 classic 350 rode 23000 kms has developed crack on chasis this month (july2015).When contacted the service centre they say its manufacturing defect and it will only cover during the warrenty, They say I need to weld at my cost.How pathetic is the quality they deliver.I need the frame to be exchanged by the company

                            Hi My Name is Abhishek joshi.I am journalist.I bought classic 500 before 16 months from Ahmedabad.Suddenly now a days my bullet get starting problem so i changed my battery but problem is not solved so i contact to workshop. That's very bad if i have to change parts of my bullet in very short period of time. They want me to change ECU and thats bad if ECU doesn't work properly and stop working in short time.i am totally upset with poor quality of parts.I am expecting positive response.for any assistance call on my mob.                               Hi I bought bullet electra 350 on 2013.I ask service people to check many products during my warranty but they said that all products are good.Once the free service period gets over and they started saying compliant like anything. Lastly i gave my bike for service in perungudi, chennai.I have never seen that type o[censored]seless service ever.i gave the following compliants 1.getting sound at rear tyre when going fast 2.Sound from shockobserve 3.horn...

                                Hi, I would like to make a formal complaint against the defective motorcycle I recently bought from one of the RE showroom. It's been only four and a half months I bought my RE Electra 350 5S and it's giving me a lot of trouble. Since day one, it produces a humming noise. After taking it to dealer and service centre I was told that this noise comes from taped but there is no way that I can get rid of this noise. After taking the bike for two services this problem still persists, then in 3rd month I had to refill the front left shock absorber and in 4th month front right shock absorber is leaked and now speedo meter has stopped working. Isn't it alarming that a motorcycle which has been purchased 4 and a half months ago is asking for replacement of parts every other month? Why would a customer like to keep the defective merchandise after spending Rs.1, 30, 800/- Please help me to resolve this problem by replacing this motorcycle or with refund of my money as I do not have any wish to keep the defective merchandise after spending a lot of money.                                     Myself shivani from Bhopal, my father who live in ujjain has booked classic -350cc bike at 10000rs nd the manager told that they deliver it in 45 days. Then after 2-3days an agent call my father nd told dat if they deposit whole amount for that bullet then he delivered it. But my father doesnot deposited the amount then after 45 days when we call in showroom they always says that our lot is coming but after we r waiting 3-4 month. Today when i call the manager then he says that we refund your money but we want bullet or taking our money with interest and we also have a receipt of deposit money .

                                      Hello, I am writing this to complain about one of your service center i have royal enfield thunderbird 350 cc for about 2 years after i bought it during the time around the 2nd service i was experiencing sound from the tank when it got heavy for eg. when i filled the tank full i complained about it but the response was that it is normal as at that time it was not that bad i ignored it but gradually it worsened and after 4 services during the last service they tell me that it is because the inner part of the tank some kind of holder is broken. They took around 1 and a half year to figure that out and are now saying that we cannot handle such things you have to fix it outside or buy a new tank. First of all they are not fixing it and took so much time to tell if they would have informed me earlier i would have avoided the cost as they have told me after the bike is no longer in warranty period hence i am getting no compensation please help me as this obviously occurred during the warranty period and that too very early the bike has never been in an accident or never even have fallen its a manufacturing defect or a mistake by the service center which caused this and i should rightfully be compensated.
