i am ritanjay bora a grieved customer of royal enfield desert storm. I Am Facing a Problem Of White Smoke.my bike has done only 6000 km .When i contacted to the service person they told me ring or may be block is damaged. There is no point to spend big buck on this junk. It would have been better to buy three of honda activa instead of this 200 kg of junk so that your whole family can ride.Over And Above There Is Another Problem 6th Time My Plug Got Fused And Not Sure What Is The Reason even service guy was also unable to shortout the problem Infact Recently I Spent Around inr 1200 With New NGK Iridium Plugs And That Too Got Fused. I advice not to buy this bike. Because bike is poor and service support is even pathetic. Service guys are doing their experiment on my desert storm and result is zero. If you want to invest 1.5 lakh rs then dump it in your backyard it will give better return then the classic 500 desert storm. Hi i bought a 2009 royal enfield classic efi 500cc last summer, The bike is in top condition and i was happy with the purchase, however after ONE month of riding the srag clutch broke, which at first i did'nt think was a bad thing due to the fact the bike was secondhand. (although it only had 15, 000 on the clock) Since the first sprag replacement i have had to replace the sprag 3 times in the last 4 months!!!?? (WTF)I can't believe this and am so so so unhappy with this bike. This model has NO kick start which i think is a stupid design fault and gives you no option when a problem like this occurs!
I have bought a new battery and made sure i have done everything in my power to ease the starters job.
I live in Alicante Spain and last month i took the bike down to Almeria about 250 miles south through some of the best enfield riding roads in the world. Buy the time i got there the exhaust had split along the welds and the starter was having problems again:(
I have no idea what to do about this bike at the moment and feel let down with Enfield.
These bikes look and sound wonderful but the slogan "built like a gun" Should be changed to "built like a spud gun" me thinks?

I was purchased on 23/05/2014, From Sri Kalikambal Autos . At the time of purchase they given only the temporary registration and insurance policy. still now they are not given any information about permanent registration. I called them many times, but not they given any details and responsibility answer. They are not given any respect to the customers. The habit Will spoil your company name. My native is more then 90 kml from vellore and I visit them three times directly. They told me I will call you and tell you to later . But still now they are not contact me. I want Know the Proper reason. Buying ROYAL ENFIELD is my Life time Ambition . But your dealer spoiled them . Really I am not satisfied . They are the worst dealer and They are not a Quality person to sell your Quality Product. Any way I want know the correct reason and take quick actions from Your company.       Dear Royal Enfield customer care I own a Royal Enfield Thunderbird Twinspark (bearing registration number AP31 BB 9306). Since the time of its purchase I serviced the bike only at Royal Enfield service centers. Initially it was Yerragadda, hyderabad and now rama talkies, visakhapatnam. Your service center in visakhapatnam is highly unprofessional. Everytime, they make some or the other functions fail and make me keep circling around the service center. Recently, they have changed(or did some other unscrupulous thing) my bike's self starting motor. They are not listening to me at all. I am tired and frustrated with all these things. Finally, my machine is standing idle in my parking lot. I don't know how RE is letting these service centers to run this way and demoralize their customers. I need a solution.         Hi RE Customer service team, I live in Jamshedpur. I booked a classic 350cc black on 27th Feb, 2014 with M/s Aruna Motors at Jamshedpur by paying Rs5000/-. The dealer gave me a waiting period of 90 days and verbally assured me that between 2 to 3months, they will be delivering the bike. But even after 3 months of waiting period they are not even telling me by which time I shall be able to get my bike. I request RE customer support team to look into the booking and delivery practice of the dealer. They shall deliver the bike as soon as possible.             I want to let you know that my royal enfield electra has a very major problem from the first day of purchase.Its front shocker is touching the fuel tank of my bullet.and when i went to the service center i came to know that the problem is from chassis.So now plz help me that my problem can be solved as soon as possible.

              Hi team This mail is regarding the concern that i faced by getting my bike serviced at ur service centre (Mahipalpur).While getting my bike serviced, i raised the concern that the battery of bike was having some charging issues.Even after raising this concern my problem was not resolved. Yesterday when i was driving my bike it stopped running on the way at Gurgaon.The problem was such that bike did'nt start and i had to get my battery charged locally. Kindly take appropriate action to resolve this concern since when i took my bike again to the service centre they are asking me to pay the money to rectify the problem.                 Dear Sir, Recently I had a chance to visit Royal Enfield Service Station at Him Enfield Dharamshala for service and repair of my bike.The Showroom is situated at Dharamshala-Palampur Road.When I visited there, I was told that the repair work is done at other place which is located at a distance of about 2 km from the showroom.I could not locate the Service Station on that day after a lot of efforts and had to come back home causing me harrassment as well as wastage of time. Next day I again visited the Showroom and they deputed some person to locate the service station.To my surprise, it was located in the interior of the village, running in a basement sort of shop with a heap of construction material lying here and there with no facility to the customers like toilet, drinking water, sitting arrangements what to talk of refreshments like tea or coffee. Customer has to stand literally in the street and wait for his turn. A disgusting experience for the customer. Earlier I have visited Royal Enfield in New Delhi where the facilities, the ambience and the customer services were excellent for which hats off to Royal Enfield but the state of affairs here at Dharamshala is really annoying and frustrating which bring a bad name to a brand like Royal Enfield. I have been associated with Royal Enfield for last 12 years and such a state of Company at Dharamshala dealer makes me upset. Royal Enfield workshop here just has reduced to the state of a Local Scooter Mechanic shop. Hoping an improvement in these state of affairs so that customers are not embarrassed/demoralized on the part of a Brand like Royal Enfield. Yours etc, Amit Rana, Palampur.

                  i have booked my thunder bird 350 on 3rd feb 2014 at S. P. Wheels vasai. i have still not received the delivery for my thunder bird. i had visited the showroom on 7th of may there were 3 bikes in the showroom when i asked them for the delivery they said me my number is 5th and i will receive the vehicle when my number comes, i visited the showroom again today thats 23rd may again i was said that my number is 4th and i will receive the vehicle when my number comes i just want to know if there is the vehicle in the showroom then y m i not getting the delivery.                     Sir I have purchased Royalenfield continental GT during the month of March 2014 from Barnala Automobiles, Ferozepur road Ludhiana Punjab I am sorry to point out that its back disk brake both pipes leaked only after 700 KM due to manufacturing fault and I escape with the grace of God. These pipes were not available with the dealer. And I have to wait nearabout 4 days. 2ndly its handle lock also stop working, this is also not available with the dealer. 3rd its spedo meter also giving noice after the speed of 50 KM pH. and this is also needs to replaced. please do the needful at the earliest.                       Hi, I bought Classic 350 in Feb 2014 from CASHMIR SALES CORPORATION, Pathankot, Punjab . Now the bike is giving some problem with rear wheel. When I went to Pathankot service center from where I bought the bike, they are not ready to get it fixed and want money to fix the bike even though it's in warranty period. Dealer and the staff treats the visitors and specially those have bought the bike in very bad way. Many other guys those have bought bikes from same dealer are facing the same problems.                             I purchase my bike from GARG MOTORS CHANDHIGARH 32 D on 19 feb 2014. last week i going to change my silencer. while changing the silencer mechanic see that my bullet chassis is crack. i am very disappointed because i spend 1.07000 lakh on my bullet. now i want New bike i dnt want to replace the chassis i want new bike from company. please resolve my problem. i am very disappointed. my contact no :- [protected] Email id :- [protected]@gmail.com

I Bought My RE Classic 500 two years back (25/05/2012) from Abhyuday Motor Service Pvt Ltd, Mysore - Karnataka Now I am facing major problem in Fuel Injection system and service centre as adviced me for replacement of Fuel injection system at my cost. As a customer satisfaction I believe it’s against Royal Enfield because of early premature of fuel pump functionality as it’s a major functionality of system. Summary 1. 1. On the day 14/04/2015 had been to a place about 50 kms from Mysore, while returning I couldn’t start the vehicle neither from self start nor kick start. So I took the vehicle to local mechanic and got cleaned both the spark plugs, after cleaning it started without any problem with electric and kick start. 2. Further for my satisfaction I took the vehicle to service centre on the same day and I explained the problem briefly to the service advisor and gave the vehicle to general service with regular checkups.(Initially they told me that spark plug to be replaced with concern with the above issue) 3. On the day 19/04/2014 I called service centre to know the status of vehicle and they replied they will come back in 10 minutes, later I got a call from service manager stated about failure of vehicle fuel injection system to be replaced which will cost about 11, 000 to 12, 000 ( I got feedback after 4 days ) My complaint is that they failed to provide me with a satisfactory reason for the failure of the system. I suspect it’s a manufacturer defect or service centre personnel changed vehicle fuel injection system. I strongly recommend to replace the item at company cost (I have read many failure issues in RE forum and consumer complaint websites) I need a justification for the failure because I had maintained the vehicle in very good condition by taking all necessary precaution and with regular interval of service in authorized centres only. I hope chances are very less for the failure of fuel injection system in Royal Enfield vehicle because RE is very concern about their quality aspects to satisfy the customer. Looking for your feedback ASAP. I usually fill the fuel in Shell or Indian Oil bunks only, how you can state that it is because of dirt fuel. If you are able give justification on this I can lodge the complaint against them, And i usually maintain fuel bills also. Or is it commonly persisting issue, why all the vehicles are not facing the issue. And let me know the precaution taken from RE or Service centres 2. Mainly I doubt on Service centre they might have changed fuel injection system ( Possiblities are more, You can check in consumer complaint sites for this kind of issue and I also have a previous personal experience ) Please help me to come out of this issue immediately Regards Kiran [Quoted text hidden]

                                I am Virendra Singh from Ahmedabad.
                                I want to complaint of Kaveri Moters S.G highay Ahmedabad Dealer.
                                i had booked a royal Enfield classic 350 on 1st week on November 2013.but Still i'm not get my bike delivery... Even Dealer give me Estimate time is 3 month for delivery.When i ask for this delay time reason that time he says its take more time...after 1 month when i contact again that time to from till date he always say its take more time. finally he give me one date for delivery...but when i contact on that given delivery date by kaveri moters.. they told me only your bike recived damage and its take more time.

                                Even I paid full payment of Classic 350 one month ago...beocuse they said
                                if full payment is not done then he will not book my bike.

                                I am very disappointed with your Dealer response.
                                i will suggest to all my friends and group that they never deal with kaveri moter's.

                                  i have purchased Thunderbird 350, with a long list of Manufacturing Defects.

                                  From the Day One i am continuously visiting Service Centre to rectify the defects, i have spent over 25000/- for repairing & maintenance along with many days of my precious time.

                                  The status of the problems is still the same and i am not at all interested to spent more n more time & money in your product.

                                  i want each and every single penny i have spent from day one, in purchase & maintenance of this bike along with interest amount.

                                  i will wait till Saturday evening 5 pm for the Cheque of the total amount and take your defective item back or else i will knock the door of Consumer Court on Monday Morning[protected].

                                  I have complained lot of times and i have those email of complaints as evidence. those will speak in my favour in Consumer Court.

                                    The headlight switch for 350 cc thunderbird bike is functioning since last one month. The sparepart iS not available with service center Pratik Motors Panvel Navi muMbai. They haVe logged request with company on 8 th March 2014.                                       I own a thunderbird 350 which i purchased on 4th, nov, 2013. my bike was working fine but there was some problem in shifting the gears. I told the serviceman regarding the same in MANMOHAN AUTOS KHARAR PUNJAB when i visited them first, they tightened the screws and said that it will work fine. the problem was not fixed, i visited them again and they argumented that everything is working fine but anyhow they decided to work on my bike on tuesday(18.feb.2014)/ that day i left my bike in the service station. in the evening they called me and ask me to visit them and pick my bike. when i visited the owner of the showroom ask me have a test drive with him. then he said that everything is working fine.. there is no such problem in the bike. then i said to check in front of me. the bike was giving the same problem. he then started pushing me and embarassing me by using non profesional words. i need to have some important action to be taken against him as he also refused to service my bike saying that he is the owner and i havent purchased the bike from hs showroom.

                                        I bought a Classic 500 CC in Bahrain in August 2012 where I was living at this moment But Few month after I had fex mechanical problems and the bike was immobilized from January 2013 until April 2013 but not really repaired I may I had to put my bike on the container be cause I was moving to France My problems were continuing but Fortunately I find a good garage near Paris for Royal Enfield ( "tendance Roadster" near Paris) who finally repaired the bike He replaced the starter 700€ I did not pay for the moment I contacted the import dealer in France who said that he could not take in charge be cause I did not buy the bike in France And in Bahrain the dealer Abbas Biljeek categorically refused So I have now to reimburse the garage near Paris What I can do? Pls Help me Christophe JEAN
