Dear team,
It's been almost 2 years since i've got my himalayan bs4 version. Let's just say that it's seen the service centre more than the highways.
Clocked approx. 24k kilometres and counting, it's mandatory to visit the service centre every month sometimes twice a month for some or the other problem with normal city riding and some breakfast weekend rides. I used to praise the bike when it aged a few months but now, it's just a budern.
Being from the middle class, we've got to plan and start saving for a long ride months prior it's execution. To see that saved money getting into the repairing of the bike is just disheartening and has cancelled many of my rides before and i think it will cancel one soon. And don't get me started with the handle bearing, i've changed it twice but it still continues to give the same problem.
Being a core fan of the brand, seeing the initial response the himalayan received and the response it is getting now, my "fan-ship" has come to void and i've lost trust in the brand, it's not as it was at my father's time where the royal enfield bullet had the respect.
I don't know if this mail will even get a reply, if it may i'd get a generic robotic reply.
Never the less, i hope for some.
Thanks,
Alvin silvester.
