I have purchased a royal enfield classic 350 gun metal grey bike in the name of my sister on 03.04.2019. Immediately after 1st service, i met with an accident on 28.04.2019. Then, royal enfield road side assistance picked my vehicle from the place of accident and took it to the nearby service centre i. E. Centrum motorcycles, naraina vihar, new delhi-110028.
After that, i received my bike in the month of august and that too with major problems which i have already informed the service centre and customer care. I had some accessories like mobile stand and charger with my bike but they are missing from the bike. The service centre needlessly took four months for a work of a few days. During this time, my second service time was lapsed which was due in 3 months from date of purchase or 3000km whichever, earlier. However, my bike was rotting in service centre during this time and now the date for third service has come which is due in 6 months or 6000km whichever is earlier.
But of these 6 months, more than 4 months my bike was in service centre so for this i demanded a warranty extension so that i can drive my vehicle and as the service centre deliberately kept my bike and didn’t repair. I had called them many times to know whereabouts and repair status of my bike, but they always said i will get my bike in 4-5 days. I remember, in month of june they promised me on date and told me to receive my bike but did not give me. They repeated this thing 3 to 4 times before giving my bike.
Regarding this, i called customer care many numbers of times but they would tell that i will receive a call back from them but it never happened. I had to call them daily but they would convince me the same thing to wait for call back.in fact, in july and august month calling royal enfield became part of my daily routine. I have mailed the whole instance to them and also gave them reminders too on [protected]@royalenfield.com but never heard back from them. I have also informed the owner of the service centre about this issue but he also did nothing.
A few days back, i called them again regarding warranty extension and they told the same thing and i. E. To wait for the call back.
So, i have no choice but to report about it to this forum and i demand warranty along with the compensation for what i had to go through.
