I was one of the most unfortunates to have decided to go for royal enfield motorcycle lured by the efficiency and after sales service despite many options. I bought the vehicle on 12th february 2019 in chennai from sri velavan motors pvt ltd, no. 5, arcot road, alwarthirunagar, chennai 6000087. Ph.[protected],[protected] by making a full payment on 12th february 2019 and took the delivery on the same day.

I am facing the problem of airlock and vehicle comes to a grinding halt and would not move, right from the day one. This was highlighted to the showroom on the day one and many time subsequently and they assured me that it will get resolved during the 1st service. I took it up in stride thinking the new vehicle will improve in all parameters with time. But the problem persist which was mentioned by me during my first free service given on 23rd march 2019 and even more strongly during the vehicle second free service on 13th may 2019. The service was done by sri velavan motors pvt ltd, no 1, ganesh nagar, 1st main road, g k industrial estate, allapakkam, chennai - 600116,

The problem highlighted on both the services but was not attended to and in fact to my utter dismay it became worse. Many a time’s self and my son got stranded in the middle of the road. Yesterday 26th june 2019, while facing the similar problem, my son frantically trying telephones calls to the rescue team has not evoked any response. As the vehicle refused to move and smoke started coming from the silencer after starting, he was forced to leave vehicle in his collage and had come home by the private transport. We tried the road side assistant from home and finally got the response after half an hour and understand that the recovery team was nowhere near the location and we had to wait for 3 hours to get the response. Since it was late in the night, they asked me call again the next day to book for the recovery service. At this point, i even wonder why i went in for extension for the road side assistant even for the second and third year paying another 1000 rupees.

Today morning 27th jun 2019, we again tried the recovery team and finally fixed up the appointment at 8.00 in the morning and they left the vehicle for servicing in rudraa motors royal enfield workshop no.182, al block, 1st street, 11th main rd, shanthi colony, anna nagar, chennai, tamil nadu 600040, being the closer workshop from the pickup point.

I am thoroughly disappointed by your deficiency in service and expect you to tune up your machinery for early redressal of my grievance.
Expecting proper and immediate response from you at the soonest as we cannot be highlighting the same issue over and over again without being resolved.

    I have bought my royal enfield 2 months back and from starting day it has the problem it won’t start usually in the morning and another while riding the bike it suddenly stops and again it won’t start. So after all this i have complaint to the royal enfield service center 3to 4 times after doing the service also problem is not been resolved. And i want a immediate action on this by the royal enfield people

      I own a 2015 january model royal enfield classic 350. Now in 2019 i have noticed a crack on my bike’s chassis. Fortunately i have noticed it before any accidents. Regarding the crack i have contacted the royal enfield showroom and services and they replied that they can do nothing with it except replacing it with my own pockets. This fault is mere because of poor quality of the product and it is very unfair to tell the customer that he have to pay for it. If this is the quality that royal enfield provide, how the customers can enjoy its ride? Without any accidents the main part of the vehicle that is chassis is broken, how can one trust the so called royal enfield? I want the company to replace my chassis.

        I given vehicle service to sri saravana motors at hosur in t. N for vibration issue same already i raised complaint here.
        Saravana motors person called and rectified but their giving with out washing oil grease and dust all stick on vehicle this not first time always doing like only worst service in royal enfield service.

        Very poor service...the system o[censored]r service station is bigg zero..very poor service ... 90 min fix service... ur service time is 6 hrs.. if we take the appointment...very very poor service...

          My brand new desert strom abs i took deliver in april 2019. The first 2 months was very good performance.
          2 days back my abs stopped working, were in i couldn't apply rear break when i was in 40kms/hr. With great difficulty i stopped my bike with gear shifting and front break. I took the bike to the work shop synergy auto in sakinaka. They have me the next day and said all ok and fixed a new abs. Again the next day same problem, while going to office i almost met with accident when abs failed again. I took it to work shop, the head mechanic and floor in charge the bike was ok and had no problem. I put my foot down and started shouting and created a scene. Then they felt it was something serious and checked again by riding it and concluded abs has problem. This is the worst experience i ever had with royal enfield. One more time my abs fails i want my 2.5lacs back.
          Very disappointing, i have had thunderbird 350 for almost 10hrs never had any problem. This is a brand new bike and in 3 months such a major issue. I paid extra for abs.. Or i need full replacement of my bike.

          Was your issue finally resolved? Please let me know as I am facing similar issue and have been asked for a week for the 'company to investigate' the exact cause of ABS failure. I too am really dissatisfied as my bike is less than 2 months old and completed only 2200 kms

            When I ordered for Royal Enfield thunder bird 350 stone black, they told it will take10 days, but they took more than 30 days. And I have done my first free service, next day there was a problem in engine, I handed over my bike to Dindukal showroom. They told within 3 days we'll recover and give, it happened on 11.06.2019. But still now I didn't get my bike. I paid ready cash. Being a business man I need my bike like a sixth finger. But without bike am facing lot of trouble in day to day life. Kindly do the needful and please take immediate action

            My bike had a complaint in petrol tank, I given my bike to service in seelanaickenpatti, Salem 636201 on 30.06.2021. They told it will take around 20 days like that. But still I didn't get my bike. It is so difficult to manage my daily routine life without my bike. Please take necessary and immediate action...

              Vec no - tn37cd4755, mob-no [protected] bullman service in ramanathapuram is very poor in 1500 km nd before first free service to i am saying rear brake noise then front nd rear suspension noise . After first service i m saying this complaints but they didn't solve, 4 times i will give my bike they take one day but problem not solved ... U solve the problem or get me a new one ...Veh ran only below 3500 km still now ... If its not solved in future i will write complaint in consumer court

                I had purchased a royal enfield-classic 350 gun metal grey bs iv from the dealer amar auto’s 603 kanti nagar main road, swami dayanand marg, delhi 110051as on 05 july 2018.
                I am very regret to write that during iind free services, i complained with showroom service engineer that bike in 2nd gear feeling uncomfortable while driving. But every time at showroom they are simply doing oil check service and returning vehicle without addressing my complaint.
                During ivth free service the company re-assembled the engine without obtaining my acceptance. We used this bike at plane road and there is no any accident occurred, then why fault occurred in the engine. It seems that fault is carried out from manufactured stage. We paid you for high quality and strong engine and not for a faulty engine. The quality of engine goes down after re-assembling. The engine still have some fault.
                Thus i am requesting you, please changed its faulty engine as early as possible. I hope, you will provide good quality of product as per terms of contract, otherwise i know my legal right.

                  I purchased a Royal Enfield Classic Squadron blue 500cc in 2017 May. And this is a BS4 machine. Yesterday while taking my bike out, I could smell the fuel. While I initially assumed that this might some other vehicle/s along the road after some time, I felt my jeans trouser get all wet. I stopped my bike and knew that the fuel was leaking but could not determine where the leak was happening. I saw a local Enfield service centre ( since it was night 10 PM ) and took my bike there and told them the issue. The mechanic switched on the bike and imagine the horror when I saw the White Fuel Pump attached at the bottom of the tank split and pumping the fuel out like a damn fountain. The mechanic told that the cost for a new BS4 is around 8.5 K. It is not the cost but the danger that this posed to life as I also had a pillion rider. Imagine if there was a spark or something and the entire thing would have blasted. Our society is monitored and absolutely safe in terms of parking with a 24*7 CCTV Coverage, so I knew that this was not that somebody has manually split the pump, but RE was using improper material for the manufacturing of the same. A quick check online cemented my thoughts as there are lot of complaints of this. The worst part is that my bike has been used only for 3200 km. I bought this for almost 2.1 L INR. And now I feel my confidence has been let down. Even Bikes worth 1 L have better and sturdy materials than these. Words cannot express the grave danger this posed to life not only mine, but also other people.

                      You stand for going boldly where no one has gone before? I saw that in your service centre today, claimed servicing the bike without even servicing it!
                      Half of the things still pending, ready to initiate the payment. Horrible experience at Synergy Service, Saki Naka, Mumbai. Utterly disappointed.
                      nightmare experience with after sales service, 2nd service of my thunder bird x was not done as promised false neautral light, vibration self start not working and many more issues not resloved service centre not able to reslove the issues as they are not experienced After follow up the team says they have to call engineer to look after the problem, congratulations royal enfield you just lost a brand loyal customer

                      I purchased a royal enfield bike from ABC motors Tirur, Malappuram Dt Kerala.
                      it is 2016 model bike. now the petrol tank become rust within 3 years.
                      the quality of tank is very much bad.
                      Even for new tank they are not giving gaurentee or warrenty for that price.

                        I had purchased a Royal Enfield Bullet Standard 350 from the dealer Kaizen Motors Service Vyttila Kochi Kerala on 28 June 2018. From the beginning itself the bike started showing many complaints. Engine has high sound, silencer and speed meter is has complaint, I had taken the bike to the service centre at Edappally & Vytilla more than 15 times and changed the brake shoe 3 times. But still the bike shows many problems and I am not able to ride it comfortably. Now the service centres are also not responding to my complaints and stopped listening to me saying the bike has manufacturing defect. The bike has run 9700 km only. I did not get a good response from company even though I placed my complaint several times through E-mail. I am very much disappointed and unsatisfied with your office and the service centres. Please take measures to rectify the defects of my bike or replace with a new one. Looking forward for a proper response from the authority.

                            Dear friends don't waste your money in #RSA (Roadside assistance) #RoyalEnfield.

                            Waste of Money! #rsa Yesterday late night I was standing alone for Roadside assistance help in NH45 (Chennai to Trichy high way) but no useful. My #RE #Bullet head light not working I was in full of dark road I called RSA customer care he put up call in hold nearly 2hrs mobile charge drained then he asked to wait nearly 4hrs in the middle of NH45 for service but i refused to wait so he replied like they will give 350rs for reimbursement so that I have to fix it locally what the hell deal is this? If no RSA I find out anyway because of RSA I waited and totally waste. Finally I reached Chennai without head light.

                              This is Varun from Chintamani(Karnataka), i have been using Royal Enfield from past six years i love it and it has never disappointed me in any regards, but last month, i gave my bike for service here in my hometown(Royal Enfield new service center), after service i had problem with bearing of front wheel, i took to same service centre and issue was resolved, the same problem has arised for three times, all the three times they are resolving but of no use, and from yesterday again im facing same problem, im totally frustrated from their negligence and their novice technicians. After changing new bearings i have used just 200 KMS. I dont understand why Royal Enfield is using such inferior quality spares.

                              I hope you will recruit the good technicians here in this service centre.

                                Just been an 32 buying my classic 350 and 15000 kms have crossed. Now my chain sprocket is broken but i neither ride my bike harsh nor i take it to hills and i maintain my bike properly and serviced as per company instructed. I would like to book a serious complaint against this for providing low quality products for bike Another complaint is gear shifting noise and hard which is like a 03 year old bike very noisy and irritating. There three complaints are common among the customers whom i had discussed with, these complaints made me to dislike royal enfield, the important thing is the service center's doesn't care this as a problem. So i am complaining about this on all consumer support pages. Either i[censored] don't find any help i will directly deal with my lawyer in consumer court and u have no other go.

                                  Good Afternoon,

                                  I am Ravi and i have Roral Enfield Thunderbird 350. recently i met with small accident which caused my bike Handle bar and Frame issue. I gave my bike to service center i.e Go Green Motors Gachibowli, hyderabad on may 5 2019 and the drama started.

                                  They followed up with my insurance company guy and they came to a conclusion and updated me after around 10 days that small welding is required and no need to change bike frame. I checked with them multiple times whether it is going to cause any impact or like that and they assured me that everything will be resolved and no issues will be left.

                                  After so many followups and requests i got my bike delivered on 31 may 2019 where i paid all the money i.e 5, 308 and took delivery but when i start my bike i noticed that nothing was resolved and still issue with my Handle and front fork is existing i wondered how they delivered my bike without resolving issue.

                                  I approached the showroom person there itself and asked them to check my bike as the issue is not resolved and no one is ready to check my bike as the person who wrote job card is on long leave so i approached manager there name Suresh and after some discussions they realized as my bike was not completely fixed and took my back and assured me that they will deliver my bike next day which never happened and i got my bike only after 10 days.

                                  now its been 8 days o[censored]sing i came to know that my bike handle is not moving properly towards right side and unable to lock either. As right side it is struck so the left side its damaging my fuel tank with a dent. Also my speedo meter glass is damaged with some battery water and not accepting that it is their issue.

                                  I want my bike to be resolved and i never expected that company authorized service center will be this much pathetic and unprofessional.

                                    I am the owner of Vehcile No.DL11A2444 and I can go to South Delhi Motorcycles (D-145, Pocket D, Okhla I, Okhla Industrial Area, New Delhi, Delhi 110020) for first service (on dated 15/06/2019) of my above said vehcile with new condition.

                                    That after service i can go to above said company for take back my vehcile and i see my vehcile's engine cover are black with dark spot.

                                    That after see of my vehicle i was meet manager/director and i say to manager my engine cover was black please check CCTV camera but manager told me his company CCTV camera was not working.

                                    please resolve my problem as soon as posible.

                                      Booked a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 on Dec 29th and expected delivery was 3-4 months which was then pushed to June 1-8th and then 8-14th and now dealer says the vehicle is not provided yet from royal enfield company and it would take another 2-3 weeks. So, waiting time from 3-4 months went to 6 months?? Regret the decision to preferring RE over other competitors...

                                        I've been riding my classic gunmetal grey royal Enfield from past 1and half year..after 4months..the chain set of bike suffered with extra noise..Every time I've taken my bike for service to showroom. They assure me that from now onwards the chain set will not make that extra sound because of loose chainset. Recently I went to showroom for service just after 2-3days again the same with chain set started. I am seriously fedup and upset with the bike, showroom and company.
                                        Royal Enfield customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
