Dear Sir,

I have purchased Royal Enfield Classic 350 bike on Dec 2013 and have clocked 26000kms. Today I noticed that there is a crack near the side stand in chasis, where the side is stand is connected to the main chassis and Engine is mounted on with a bolt. When I started browsing about this issue, came to know that this is a defect in Enfield Bikes. If you browse you will find N numbers of complaints posted online. Some are rectified by showrooms when the Bikes are in warranty and without warranty what we have to do.
A bike of Rs.1, 40, 000 is having such a cheap material in its manufacturing, which may take life of customers. Company is just thinking of making money, but not about safety of Riders who buy them with there hard earned money. Just for 25000km or five years if the chassis have a crack in a bike which is only used on well maintained roads. This is not acceptable. I am going to service centre and they will surely give us negative answer saying that we have to replace the chassis for a big amount say between Rs.[protected]. Is this is the business Enfield company practicing.

Attached the images for clarity in the complaint that I am making.

I will mention one more incident with my bike for which service centre guys were giving nonsense stories. After I brought my bike, with in first service there was strange sound on left side of engine ( near gear box ) when I use self start. When I reported in the first service itself, they said it is common and sent me home. The sound continued. One of the mechanic, just hearing the sound said there is a problem with sprag clutch and I have to replace it. Now I went to service centre and asked for replacement, they said warranty has expired and I have to pay Rs. 5000 for that sprag clutch and service charge. As I had my previous service reports ( first service ) in which I had mentioned that problem and after long talks with regional manager, they agreed to replace the part. But I had to pay Some Rs.500 as service charge. Now the point is service people know the problem, but they won't tell customers untill warranty get expires. This is a cunning way of making money by Enfield company.

Please give us justice. We do not want to loose our lives by giving our hard earned money to buy these bikes, with cheap materials used to make them.

    I am totally frustrated with Royal enfield's Pegasus Edition (C50155).

    Hi here I am starting the story I booked Pegasus bike very ambitiously.
    Even hearing very bad stories about it.
    I keep trusting Royal enfield will save me in this bad situation.
    Don't worry I am not giving your vehicle to municipality garbage collection.
    I put chappal in my lovable pegasus and ride every day in Chennai roads. Why because I just avoid hearing negative stories about pegasus and ride my first prestigious bike.
    I just give my bike to first service to SVBZ chennai medavakkam showroom where i got delivery of my bike.
    I clearly instruct them dont touch anything bcz bike is nice except overheating problem.
    They are not resolve it.eventhough I am not showing any reaction. I received call from show room owner and he asked me about the vehicle. He asked me if you are not interested with your bike go with vintage bikes. I said still I trust RE that pegasus will be a golden product in upcoming days.
    He gave instruction to service manager NAVEEN SVBZ.
    I give my bike and he also tested and agree that vehicle is getting over heated.
    I received the vehicle and I ride the bike am not happy its not my pegasus sounds very bad.
    And stopped the vehicle after 2km ride.
    See how hopefully I touched it you know but again RE cheated me and burnt my hand and more heat and its emitting fire.
    Now I am totally frustrated.
    What's your dealers plan want some more money from my pocket.
    Take it and don't come back to me.
    I am going to burn my vehicle in a fine day.
    Good bye. Get lost.

    ****** after this they called me and pick my vehicle from my home and just adjust the fault give back to me with same complaint. Again i ask them same question etc, etc...then they changed oil and make video that everything is fine.but it's not done in front of me. still problem continuous.
    ******* After second service i am un happy with SRI VENKATESHWARA BIKE ZONE VELACHERY CHENNAI, so i send mail regarding this to RE, that they again fix a representative to solve this,
    this time little okay but problem what i listed in the first service not resolved instead they give explanation and wait for next 1000 km, then this problem will automatically resolved.
    ****NOW MY VEHICLE CROSSED 5000KM WITH 3 SERVICE HISTORY WITH LOT OF COMPLAINTS..AT THIS STAGE MY VEHICLE STOPPED WHILE RUNNING AND NOT ABLE TO START, HORN NOT WORKING, CANT ABLE TO PUSH KICKER.I DROP THE VEHICLE TO VENKATESHWARA BIKE ZONE VELACHERY CHENNAI, WHICH IS CLOSE TO ME.THEY START ASKING ME ABOUT THE VEHICLE CONDITION AGAIN..I EXPLAINED THE ISSUE.
    THEY CALLED ME AND TELL DIFFERENT ISSUE THAT CLUTCH ASSEMBLY IS CORRUPTED, YOU HAVE TO CHANGE NEWLY BILL AMOUNT WILL BE 4000 INR .

    * I COMPLAINT FROM THE 1ST SERVICE ITSELF.
    * PERFORMANCE IS TOO BAD,
    * SAFETY IS VERY WORST (BRAKE BOLT 2 TIMES BROKEN)
    * EVERY TIME TRY TO COMPROMISE INSTEAD RESOLVE.
    * 5000 KM CLUTCH ASSEMBLY TO BE CHANGE
    * BIKE RHYTHM IS LIKE 2 STROKE BIKE.
    * MILEAGE IS LESS THAN 20KMS.

    VEHICLE RATE IS 2.5LAKHS ..

    IS THIS FAIR?
    I AM TOTALLY FRUSTRATED, ALL THE STAFFS ARE TRY TO ABUSE.
    MY FRIENDS ARE SHOUT ME THAT I MADE A MISTAKE THAT I BUY THIS PEGASUS WITH NO QUALITY.

    IF I BURN MY VEHICLE FOR MY SATISFACTION IS IT FALSE?

    PLEASE ADVISE ME .IF POSSIBLE PLEASE GET RESOLUTION FROM ROYAL ENFIELD.

      I have bought this bike on 15th december, 2018. Just done with the first service due to daily run of 70 kms. It's been just 2 weeks and i faced one of the biggest issues of engine down even after continuous ride of 20kms. I called road assistance and the mechanic told me that there is an air in the fuel tank, so needed to open a fuel tube and it will work! The bike almost cost of 2 lakhs... Is facing such issue!!!       Service on 30/12/2018, in royal enfield service center in whitefield banglore, after service i found that on my fuel tank scratched and its paint completely damaged. I returned to service center given a complaint, but they said, they cant do anything, and they said go another place and do repaint. Its made me very disappointed. So kindly do find a solution for me. Advice me what should i do, and where should i go for the solution.

        I am the most unsatisfied customer of royal enfield thunderbird 350 model. I have purchased thunderbird 350 in september 2017. And since the first day it giving to much trouble everyday.in last 1 year my bike standing maximum at home rather than running on road. Already complaint for many time and in each servicing. But battery issue not solved yet. If possible i requesting for exchange the model.

          Sir, i'm to inform that i've purchased classic 350 cc from akon ajency thiruvannamalai,, dated jan 2018,
          Last month i got my front tyre punctured and when i tried to fix it i noted that my front rim is defective that the inner lining is projected which on pressure cutting the tube, which is a manufacturing fault, i reported at cuddalore rooster re showroom, the incharge dinakaran took photos and promised to replace but later neglected when contacted over phone, i'm so much upset that what's the meaning in giving warranty. Im a long distance re rider that i found it unsafe to go long distance that at anytime my front tube may get punctured, so kindly fix the same at the earliest, m. Elanthiraiyan, tn 91 d 4950

            I nagesh fadte had ordered a silencer pipe seens last 5 month in auto guide showroom of royal enfield panjim goa. The service which they had provided me is very poor as they r telling me that i'll ask our other staff n all. M i hv to call n ask them again n again abt my part is arrived or not n when i m asking them they don't know anything is this the service u provide to ur customers i know it's on warranty that's u people r not taking any action on it because u want to consume time limit for product after spending 2.5 lakh on bike i r getting this kind of service no communication by staff no responsibility nor they respect customers very much deserpointed by royal enfield even i tell my friends nw dnt buy royal enfield as their customer service is very poor n they don't even care as their market is gud. Plz look after ur staff neglesion

              This is premchand rathore from mysuru. I purchased royal enfield classic 350cc from abhyuday motor services p ltd 2years before. Engine number - u3s5c1ge204870 chasis number - me3u3s5c1ge599286. Two days back i had left my bike for service, morning when i saw the bike there was leakage of engine oli, but the dealer service mechanic told me its a sea page problem it is not retrieved it always happening in royal enfield, im not convincing kindly get the clear view of this problem, its able to clear or not.                 Hello this is likhith from bengaluru, just two months ago i bought re gunmetal gray 350, and last monday 24-12-18 it was taken to workshop due to breakdown, issue was that some compression bend they stated, people just think if a new bike gets sudden major breakdown how poor must be their product and the service??
                Now its been 4days since they gave deliver, and its getting stopped often at the road again, no power nothing. Im totally fed up of it.
                I strongly reccomond people not to buy re, not worthy one! I witnessed it.

                  Gun metal grey bs4 350cc. I just go for water service.in eluru. Ap. They suggested and asked me for vehicle polyish. I agreed for ok that. They polished to disk break also.. Then they sorry.. To me. I faced break failure problems. And i noticed another problem. When i ride my bike beating not coming continuesly. Ingine also stop and play in driving time. And again i go to service center. They said battery complient. I purchased new battery.. Still getting same problem and my bike also totally changed silencer beet and ride experience. It's not like enfield.. Dam they are changed some things in my bike..

                    My motorbike is showing carburetor complaint by the manufacture i had complaint to the dealers but they made no response on my bike they told me that the approval is not arrived for changing the carburetor so i kindly request you to make respond on my complaint

                    I had booked Royal enfield bike at Dinesh motors chandrapur showroom, maharashtra and paid advance amount but because of their worst service and bad response I had to cancle the booking.While booking they had given me in written that they will refund booking amount if booking canceled.But now they are ignoring and refusing to refund that amount.
                    I seen waste service in Nalgonda Royal Enfield show.My classic 350 torture a lot to me.its 1 month old bike.Main body bussh of rear wheel goan in 1month. Service technician didn’t identify the problem.Now I’m feeling embarrassing y I bought Royal Enfield.Royal Enfield is my dream bike but is worst...😡

                      Engine noise since the time of vehicle delivery and the service center not helping to get that fixed.

                      Now after the 4th service they replaced the oil pump which still did not resolve the issue. Now they say there is head work.

                      I have denied to get that done because as per my mechanic this will create problems in future if the head work is done

                      Can you help me to get replacement.

                      Odometer light not working 1 week after I bought the bike...and I am receiving no help from the dealer at Jorhat, Assam...it has been one month...
                      I have the thunderbird 350x main problem is right side pulling and handle vibration and mirror not clear.
                      I need chain socket is new. I will buy new bullet only 8 month 8000 thousand kilometres only use running but showroom not changes in chain socket .now I will teak one action iam fixing one fishbox in bulls after that sailing fish town to town [protected]

                        I'm ganesh, from telangana. I have brought classic 350 in sep 6th 2018, i never sow such a worse byke, it getting more sound from engine, suspension are not good, chain sound is more than engine. I did second servicing and i paid money to chain repair, and also they didn't do. I'm throwing it garbage, and i will get jawa. I'm complaining in consumer court in telangana about the issue.

                          I have purchased new royal en field in sep 2017 my vehicle no. Rj 19 bj 4623
                          Your service center at pal road jodhpur does not work properly. Whenever i approached your service center for routine service.. They only wash my bike and they does not repair any part or any technical issues they offer to me only to replace every part of motor cycle whichever gone some mistake.. And during the every service they propose and force to me to coating (Plastic cover with heavy charges) on bike only.

                          Further its my 4th free service but they are charging rs 660 as paid service
                          You are kindly requested to do the needfull

                            Recently i got my bike serviced at one of service centre of royal enfield at akota, vadodara. My bike no is dl 1ss 8622.
                            Ever since i got serviced, my bike is facing new problem as if petrol is over, even when tank has enough petrol in it.
                            Moreover, i ve been charged extra on the name of replacement of various parts.
                            And they didnot even provide me bill.
                            Worst service ever faced.

                            They appoint our time n date of service everytime and inspite of getting appointed we have to wait 3-4 hours for aur service.
                            So what is the value of appointment.
                            Whole day is wasted to get a single service.
                            Very bad n poor experience.

                              In my re 350 wallnoise is coming frm i bought itself i told to the service man check n reduce the sound but they are said that its default sound... I m checking the sound n compare my re sound.in my friend bike no wallnoise sound... I psid every service including tax. Its wortheless.. Please take my complaint.. And one important thing if they are unknowingly damage the parts mesn they put charge for coustmer

                                I recently bought re500cc stealth black and now being only 3 months and run only 1300 kms... Have lots of problem in gear, clutch and so on. During my first ride out of the city my re broke down n i ask for roadside assistance but to my surprise they told me to arrange a local vehicle to bring my bike back to the center and had promised me for reimbursement and told me to send the cancelled cheque to the email sent to me but still today i didn't get any response or clue regarding this. I m not for the money but for the royalty of the re family. Still waiting for the updates but don't know how long it will take. Kindly update me. Long live royal enfield family.

                                  I have just baught royal enfiled bike classic 350 on 16-dec-2018 from the kalol, gandhinagar gujarat showroom.

                                  On the very first day of bike purchase, i had filled up the petrol tank and bike getting frequently shut down due to not having proper petrol and air flow and i had gone to showroom, mechanic told me the air is not getting circulated in petrol tank so we have to replace the tank.

                                  Please help me out to get rid out of this.

                                  Is there any possibility to exchange with new bike

                                    Guys it's nothing personal. I took my thunder x 350 cc from 2nd mile, pratap market, siliguri. My first impression was too bad coz they took so much of time, it took 2days and on 2nd day also they finally gave me the bike round 8pm so there wasn't a chance to look at it properly. Bike started giving some kinda problem on day one. First it started well but almost three times suddenly engine started missing and it got stopped. I called showroom first and they gave me the rsa's no and i called them, they showed me some directions and finally it started and i thought it's the only problem but again after half an hour the same problem happened but since i was given direction and in that way i reached home. After that, i had to go kalimpong to meet my daughter. I went well till i reached kalimpong and after an hour and so i come back, it was okay but on the way from melli checkpost to jorethang the roads are under construction and even its muddy and slippery too. Because of construction work there was heavy jam where i have to use clutch very often, that is quite obvious. After half an hour of jam finally i got good roads so i was going smoothly but suddenly the clutch stopped working, bike wasn't moving further. At that time also i asked for help to rsa but since it was 5.30 or 6pm they told me it's not possible to come and help me out. There was only one option left i. E to call my friend along with a bike fitter. Finally, they came and with the help of fitter i made it to home. Since you guys or even rsa told not to go to local bike fitter to fix up things. Keeping that things in my mind i called rsa and they send me the vechile which carried my bike to the showroom. That vechile also started coming to my place by 10am and finally reached here by 6pm. From here we can figure what kind of service u r providing. Interesting thing i wanted to tell u is they told me within 100kms range u don't have to pay a single rupees but they were telling me to give 1500rs. I'm telling u very honestly that i didn't have that money to give and as per their instruction it's free of cost, it made me so embarrassing. Anyways i didn't give them money. The next day i got a call with no decency at all, since it's a renouned company i didn't expect this kinda respond. The guy told me that my bikes clutch plate is completely gone n along with that other things also they need to fix and that cost me round 3500 rs. I dunno whether the guy is telling me the truth or not, and in a rude way too, like aap ka yeh huwa hain aur aap banwana chahengey ya nahin. Now i have no option. Listen, i dunno anything abt this and i thought it's almost like a mobile company's service centre where they even give new phones if it's sets problem. I too, i haven't done it intentionally and since re is a big motorbike company n most probably do the same. But i was really pissed with the kinda service re is providing to their customer whose bike is just 10 days old. I was really pissed off and i thought that i will write this experience in face book page and even i'll post in utube too. But i didn't coz i have enough decency. I thought it's not a matter of joke, we are paying this hefty amount of money too n i[censored] see the services, it's ridiculous. I'm not at satisfied at all. I'll definitely come to get it and i'll pay also but i'll do what i think of and further i'm not going to service centre for any problem rather i'll prefer to visit my nearest bike fitter to do anything. Really it's a very bad experience n very bad impression from ur side. Look i'm posting it for such a huge bike company and bcoz of this kinda experience the companies dignity goes down. I love enfield and i'm a fan of it. Earlier i had machismo too and that was hell of a nice bike. I told u that kinda neglegency will ruin the company's name and fame.

                                      Sir, i have booked a classic 350 black motor cycle through csd at pvr wheels palakkad, kerala on 20 sep 18 (Receipt no1265). As i have requested to deliver motor cycle middle of december 2018 dealer agreed for it subject to availability. After getting confirmation from gm the availability of the same i have reached office at palakkad reached 17 dec 18. However, gm was reluctant and did not deliver motor cycle for me saying some excuse. Unpleasant behavior form mr rajkumar made me disappointed me. Most of staff are not aware of purchase procedures through csd except one lady salesperson. This is not expected for customers. Please intervene the matter.
