I have bought a king size bed from royaloak, but they have deliver me a damaged product at delivery time. Even after my complaints to their bg rod show room i did not get any response

I have also charged unnessary rs 700 for fitting cost which actually a free servise.

Roaloak is cheating their customer by selling damaged product and redicules services.

Paid online on 6/3/19. Item delivered on 9/3 with a date of installation of 11/3. However, till date the installation has not happened. Customer care is not helpful at all. Gave me number of someone who will come to install but he's saying he is busy.

    I ordered 4 seater dining table on january 26/2019 from electronic city branch. Order id : [protected]. I was informed by the sales guy (Saleem) that the order will be delivered by 3 to 4 weeks (Max by 30 days). But it was not delivered even after 30 days. I called electronic city branch manager ashraf where he confirmed that the stock will come be march 7th and will be delivered by 8th march max.

    But it was not delivered till today. I tried to contact ashraf multiple times in last 1 week, he is not picking the call. I called electronic city branch today and today they are asking me to wait till 21st march as the new stock will come by 21st. This is the third commitment from your end

    I already waited for 44 days and now you are asking me to wait for another 10 days. Don’t you have sense in giving false commitment dates and making a customer to wait for 55 days to get a 4 seater dining table?

    What happened to the stock that came on 7th march? Has those tables given to your known people? Or selling it with more price outside? What’s the satisfaction you are giving to a customer who pays the amount in advance and waiting for it? You could see the same in all social media soon. Customer will not be happy by getting all false commitments and looting customer money to your own purpose? This has been escalated multiple level now but no response yet.

    This is against the consumer protection act of 1986 – ‘right to fair and honest dealing’ and right to fair value, good quality and safety. If i didn’t get proper response, i will handle this legally. You should understand the right and power of common people

      I purchase 3 items from this branch on 17th Feb-19, and the product were expected to be delivered by 27th Feb-19. Even after numerous follow up also I haven't got the product delivered as of 8th Mar-19(which is more than a week from the day of expected delivery). The branch is rejecting my calls now. The customer care is pathetic and won't solve any problem and won't even try to. The usual acting they do is pretending they are not able to hear anything. I have already paid the full amount also. Now I am starting to wonder will I ever get my product.

        • sub: notice before filing consumer complaint - reg: order number: roy0013945 ordered online on 15-feb-19

        Dear sirs,

        • i purchased online at your website www.royaloakindia.com, a “royaloak happy single seater manual recliner in fabric” on15-feb-19 vide order no: roy0013945 for rs.11990/- for which instant payment online has been made with reference number: 5c66ad6995ccb.

        • above order was to be shipped by you on 20-feb-19, delivered on 23-feb-19 & installed at home address on 24-feb-19 as per the promises given by you in your ad promoting your product and also as per the order confirmation you had provided after payment vide email.

        • once the order has been placed & payment has been made, there has been no response, or any kind o[censored]pdate from your end, not even a single call or email from your end regarding the product delivery until i decided to call your customer care on +91 [protected] which yielded very unsatisfactory responses and also i was told by mr. Saravanan. R, ms. Nilasri etc that i would receive an update from your online team, a call which i had never received until today (01-mar-19).

        • on 27-feb-19, your customer care executive ms. Nilasri told me that the product i ordered is not available in stock, and it would take more than 30 days for the product to arrive in the ware house for which i had questioned how can the order be taken if the product is not available for which she replied that the money would be refunded. An e-mail sent by me with my grievance & with my bank details for the refund to be processed on the same day (27-feb-19) was not replied to/attended by your end until today.

        • even after repeated queries, your customer-care team or your online team has not updated me that the product is not available in stock until 27-feb-19, (I. E., even after 12 days after receiving the payment and order confirmation).

        • an 8th call to your customer care centre talking to mr. Mohammed on 28-feb-18, when he told me that the product has already been dispatched, and when asked about shipping details, he replied that by the end of the day, he will revert with docket number has been a bluff as nor he or any of your customer care executives or your online team did not provide any update on the product i had purchased.

        • i have reported the above matter to you several times (Giving reference of earlier reporting as above) but despite all my pleadings you have not made good any effort to rectify deficiency in your promised services which is indeed regrettable and highly unbusiness like. On account of your aforesaid dereliction of duty and failure and neglect to rectify the same i have suffered losses/ incurred expenses/gone through severe mental agony not only to me but also to my family members.

        • also your e-commerce portal www.royaloakindia.com from where the purchase has been made does not have a grievance officer posted or a grievance redressal system in place to address my issue which is required as per online market places mentioned in the indian information act.

        • my above experience with your company made me to believe that www.Royaloakindia.com is indulging in fraudulent business practices in misguiding/misleading the consumers with false ads & promises and cheating them in to buying and receiving payments from the online consumers. Also there is no complaint escalation system available on your website which clearly indicates that your company royaloak furniture is involved in cheating / fraudulent practices, misleading/misguiding consumers in-order to make consumers pay online and then you do not deliver services / refund payments as promised.

        • your customer care executives have misled / misguided me in to making me believe that the amount will be refunded (As told to me on 27-feb-19), product has been dispatched (As told to me on 28-feb-19) without providing me any details on the shipping and also misleading me that i will be updated by end of the day (28-feb-19) have all caused me to believe that i am cheated / misguided and mislead by your customer care and has caused lot of mental agony to me & my family.

        • this is clearly unfair, restrictive & fraudulent trade practice by an online e-commerce portal / seller as per indian e-commerce consumer protection act and will be subjected to heavy compensation to the consumer.

        • due all above, please take prompt & swift actions to settle my grievance within 10 days of receipt of this notice failing which i shall be constrained to initiate against you, your online team and all above mentioned your customer care executives, for redressal of my aforesaid grievances and recovery of the aforesaid amount with interest and also claim heavy compensation & such proceedings, both civil and criminal against all parties involved as are warranted by law, besides filing a complaint under the statutory provisions of the consumer protection act, 1986 exclusively at your own risk, cost, responsibility and consequences which please note.

          We recently purchased 3seater recliner.The qulaity of product is very much different from what we have seen in the showroom.we raised a complaint immediately to the customer care. After multiple followers the technician visted us and confirmed that we have received a defective product. We have been asking for a replacement from that day.But ther was no proper response from 20days.

          I purchased a wardrobe from Royaloak online in first week of February. ROY0013542 5c512aae3dc40.
          The wardrobe got delivered with a damaged mirror . Subsequently I was asked to replace the mirror arranging my own carpenter. I was told that the repair charges will be reimbursed on producing the bill from the carpenter. As advised by them I got the replacement done and it’s more than 3 weeks and no refund has come and the team has stopped responding to any of my calls and messages . I have sent 3 or 4 mails to the team and there is no reply for any of my mails . This is such an unprofessional team and I would advise the customers not to go for their products at all as they don’t keep up their words and absolutely rotten customer care

            So here it goes. We enquired thoroughly with the customer care before ordering a product online and its obvious everyone would check for the return policy. Before buying the product, the customer service gave enough confidence to order and bragged about the return policy.
            With the trust that was built, we went ahead and ordered the product online.

            However, once we raised a concern and requested for returning the product as it was a cheap quality and damaged, we got one line response stating “once product is delivered and installed, it cant be returned” i just laughed out loud and wondered where is the world would anyone return a product without seeing the condition of it. Plus online world runs successfully as there is flexibility to return/exchange the product you buy.

            Anyways, with my response to that one line response from their customer care, they looped someone in and asked to address the concern, and its been 5 days since and there no response.

            I have called the customer service a number of times and they repeat a slogan "once installed they wont take the product back" and they commit stating the online team will reach out in an hour or end of the day and so on but there is absolutely no response. They also have the audacity to be blunt with the customer but expect the customer to be polite. How much once can keep calm while havent spent so much money and they have such lethargic customer service team.

            My request is to take the product back and refund the amount. The product literally is like some refurbished one and doesn’t even look leather. The price paid is inr 60, 000

            The online team has not made further efforts to look into my request. They just repeat a slogan "once installed there is no option to return". There is absolutely no effort from the team to understand the concern and resolve. This show how insensitive their team is. The online shopping on Royal Oak is totally a forum for them to cheat and loot people by delivering their damaged products. This is the way they get rid of their damaged products and still make money.

            Today one of the Relationship Manager states, that he will send a technician to fix the damage. So basically i am supposed to repair the damaged product and keep it at home. Now isnt this a total scam?

            From all the complaints i have seen am 100% sure they use this online website of theirs to sell all the damaged products and then dont replace or refund the amount when customer raises concerns.

            Its been over 30 days now, and this is still not resolved. They also have enormous amount of guts to be rude despite of the fact the fault is theirs.
            Queen bed damaged item supplied not installed. Very poor quality.

                    Purchased Max dining set from Royal Oak Banaswadi on 3rd Nov18 and they promise to deliver by 20th Nov18 however we are still yet o receive the product today 7th feb19 when call the customer care they keep telling no stock and when call the showroom manager he keeps giving false promises as few more days and now its almost going to be 6 months for a dining set to be delivered.                         Hello,
                        I've been the most loyal customer towards royal oak... I have always trusted the quality of the products available in royal oak... However, i am so much disappointed to have received the mattress which is causing so much discomfort. Not only is it causing discomfort but all o[censored]s at home are suffering with neck sprain and back pain which ideally should not be happening. I'm totally broken for having spent rs.11, 000 for a mattress which is not worthy. I'm not even sure if i can get a replacement for a product like this. Please help me get rid of a mattress which causing health issues.

Product is queen bed without storage the product was delivered on 28th, while assembly we saw the product is damaged.. The quality of cart is very very poor.. What is alternative for this..

                          I purchased wooden dinning table for and its chairs for 35k from roaloak and it got delivered on 23-Jan-2019.

                          When technician assembled, I realised that the product delivered is of very poor quality. There are many white patches and defects with no wooden polish applied. The item which was displayed in Koramangala RoalOak showroom was good in condition and well polished.

                          When I called customer on 23-Jan-2019, the agent promised to send technician on the very same day to have look into the matter and replace the item.

                          As there were no response, I called the customer care again, this time, customer care agent wanted me to send an email to [protected]@royaloakindia.com.

                          As per customer care complaint email response, the defective product can not be replaced (why I am not sure) and a technical will come to inspect. But unfortunately even after so many days I haven't even got a calls from RoalOak.
                          This is really cheating customer, with no real professionalism or ethics.

                          Can a consumer complaint can help with this? If so what is the procedure to file a complaint? Please advice.

                            Don't order something from RoyalOak, i want it immediately .
                            If you have time or to be correct enough free time to continuously follow up
                            and wait up 2 month for a product please go ahead.
                            I am not getting any response from team. when ever i call they will say we are looking into it. I have ordered from RoyalOak
                            one of the support member told, we don't have option to take product back from my location.
                            I mean what kind of business model you have, one way traffic you company can only deliver,
                            if product is damage or so they will not show any responsibility.
                            they are offering some stupid discount, see discount doesn't work for me. i don't have time for get carpenter and do so.
                            That is the reason i have ordered on-line. Please take back your product at any cost.

                            I have ordered a table from royal oak on 16th of dec and i receive delivery 28th, of dec.
                            After continuous followup carpenter came assemble that on 4th jan 2019.
                            When he opened the parcel. We can see lots of wooden component are broken.
                            I have reach out customer care no they told me send a email with photos of broken part.
                            It been 18 days since i am following up royal oak team. yesterday they told i will take another 1 month for them just take back product.
                            i agreed that also i have asked for send that in mail with date.
                            But they are not proving that also. RoyalOak people stopped responding in chat as well.

                              Bought a cot for Rs 17991/- delivered the product with 2 parts not of the right size . order no[protected] . the person who installed placed a complaint himself .it was bought on 13.11.2018 . umpteeen calls and of no avail . To many times we have called . The customer service does not know anything . They sent another technician who was not needed to come . even he called a placed a complaint and sent photos and measurements . 15 days now still awaiting when i called today the person in customer service Ms Maria tells me she has to raise the compalint again so i need to take measurements and send them a mail . terrible experience no action from the comapny

                                I have ordered a table from royal oak on 16th of dec and i receive delivery 28th, of dec.
                                After continuous followup carpenter came assemble that on 4th jan 2019.
                                When he opened the parcel. We can see lots of wooden component are broken.
                                I have reach out customer care no they told me send a email with photos of broken part.
                                It been 9 days since i am following up royal oak team.
                                I am not getting any response...

                                Dear sir/madam,

                                I have been chasing royal oak furniture for refund my money.

                                Below is the snippet from my email to them since 4th june 2018, i have been regularly in touch with them. Despite of commitment they haven't refunded my money yet.

                                Dear customer service,
                                Could you please confirm by when can you refund the money rs. 4, 990.00 for the cancelled item "royaloak chocolate study desk" from the order - no roy004541. I have to return this item due to space issue.

                                I had ordered #[protected] and #[protected].

                                I have been requested for my refund since june 2018. Please refund as committed by mr. Rafel and venkat over email communication.

                                  Booked a recliner 0ct 5th, supposed to receive the product in 12 days, product never made it home called customer care they told me that online team manager Anees will contact me, he called after 4 days and den told me that he does not know where the product is, I requested refund, was promised in 7 working days, since den they are just telling me in 4 days or 1 week the refund will be done but until now that is 65 days since d word given by their manager they havent refunded my money, Now their manager Anees is avoiding me bcoz he doesnt have a face or he has eaten my money also along with him is another person by name Raphael who told me dat money will be refunded in 4 days but nothing has happened so far
                                  I have all the emails and confirmation and promises made by them saved to register a court case on them

                                    Dear royal oak, sri sri venkat kalyan n

                                    In continuation to my complaint, i write to inform as follows

                                    1. First as issue of advance and not blocking nor supplying in time.
                                    2. Now supplying late after repeated reminders, a damaged slab of dining table and supplying chairs without set of screws to fix.
                                    (I came to know that royal oak supply damaged items to gain time as the amount is received on false promise of supply in scheduled time)
                                    3. Now i have to keep the damaged table top till replacement may take several days or weeks (Royal oak standard)
                                    4. Keep the skeleton of legs of chairs in corner till the screws are received and fixed (May take royal standard time)
                                    5. Royaloak departments act independently as if each is different company and no co-ordination nor togetherness in working. Each complaint with others.

                                    Marketing staff takes orders without stock in stores
                                    Marketing staff takes full money of the article by falsely promising delivery
                                    Stores takes its own time to deliver as it wishes
                                    When contacted to marketing staff they inform it is on the way and reaching in 4 hours
                                    When contacted after 4 hours they say the stores is not receiving their calls also
                                    After 6 hours marketing receives the call and say the concerned person not available to call next day
                                    Next day there is no body to pick the phone
                                    Third day when called full day lost and by evening receive the message that vehicle is broke down and it is getting repaired.
                                    At 7 pm vehicle getting ready and can be delivered by 9 pm, but 2 other items a sofa and chair received. When asked about the dining table they say it is coming in a different transport.

                                    Then after days of lost want to receive at any cost i said i can wait upto what ever time may be 10 pm, 11pm 12pm (Even though the place is newly built house and no facilities to stay late)
                                    Then call comes at 9 pm informing that the vehicle is not yet ready so will deliver next day.
                                    Next day morning receive call from transport person at 9 am they are at our place waiting to deliver, when i am 20kms away in my home.
                                    I had to rush from there to receive without attending my office
                                    Finally received damaged table and chairs without screws, which are at home.

                                    When royal oak cannot keep the promise then why you have staff who go on giving false, unrealistic promises.
                                    There is no co-ordination between marketing staff, stores, transport, assembling staff and each think they are different from others and give excuses of the others.

                                    Today i have damaged table and chair parts at my new building, if you want do something please do it urgently.
