I am a samsung split AC owner.
On 8th May, 2021 service engineer from authorised dealer appointed by Samsung visited on our call as the AC was not cooling.
The service engineer did not check and inform about replacement of cooling coil unit & gas filling . It was clear that the engineer was incompetent as he was more interested in replacing the costly parts.
Since my AC is just two years old spending Rs[protected] + 2000 gas filling+ 649 service chgs) was not convincing.
I called the local engineer and was thoroughly impressed by his checking, he clearly told that there is no fault in cooling coil unit and only a repair needed & gas is to be filled and saved our huge money.
Also I have a previous bad experience with the company as when the product was in its 1st year warranty period the engineer who came to service my unit didn't do it saying I have seen it and it isn't required, even me asking him that to do the service. I had to call samsung and ask the service procedure & requirements of the ac and was told otherwise and then I had to raise a complain for the same & then the engineer came & did the service properly.
And again this year also an incompetent service engineer was sent.
So, this simply means that the Samsung employees who charged ₹649 for visiting are incompetent as they didn't do their work properly, twice here in my case, as they checked without any equipment, & said the fault to be of ₹10k for a AC which was in actuality not needed.
This could be because of these guys want to make extra cash, or this could be Samsung altogether training their staff to replace the parts than repair them, but replacing a part which is in a proper working condition is incompetent & not ethical.
I also raised the complain regarding this matter to samsung itself but there is no response from them till now.
So, I write here as I have been helped here earlier as well. I would like to get compensated for ₹649 I payed, to the company which is incompetent or practices devious methods, as my experience states clearly dictates it.
