My samsung galaxy S20 plus started to show green line on screen after update. When I contacted customer service they told me it cost Rs 16000 to replace screen.

Kindly help me resolve issue as it is fault from company side in the software update done by them

    Sir, My EB Bill Due Date on 11 January 2023. So that i have used Samsung pay on 8th January 2023 for EB Bill Payment of Rs.113. It Shows payment successfully done. After 11th, Penalty Raised new EB Bill payment was Raised From TNEB. Penalty Amount including Bill was 255Rs. I was shocked when i saw a new EB Bill. After, that i Contacted Samsung pay about this concern. They told me the payment was successfully done, Please ask TNEB about this payment. After this i have contacted TNEB Person about this issue. They told, the payment is not reflected from ourside, Kindly ask Samsung pay. After asking to samsung pay with payment not received screenshot, they told to make a complaint in application, we will resolve it. after complaint they are returned 113 rs amount on 18th January 2023. I need Compensation from Samsung pay for this issue.

      I have purchased m31 and used it with due care for around 2 years and i am facing frequent restart and hang issue. Earlier i faced this issue in M21 as well. I have reached out to samsung ceo team and customer support, they were ready to bare only 10% of the cost which is just Rs 700. total estimated cost for motherboard repair is 7028 from samsung authorized service center.
      For such defect in M series with respect to IC/Motherboard,...

      On Sunday morning, January 23, 2023, as I was taking to my friend on phone, I noticed a vertical green line on the left side of the phone. This appeared post the phone software update on previous night. I tried restarting/resetting the phone as suggested by customer care, but nothing removed the green line from the phone.
      Below is the detail of my lengthy discussions with Samsung Service Centre and it depicts a painful/costly process of dealing with a problem caused by a software update and somehow policies are created in a way that consumer is responsible for paying to get it fixed:

      At that time, I called to Samsung customer care about the issue, and they suggested me to go to nearest service centre to get my mobile checked. Next morning, January 24, 2023, I went to Parama Retail solution India Pvt Ltd which is situated in Select city mall. I reached there at sharp 11.00 clock in the morning. I explained my issue to the person to the store manager but at that time no engineer had not come. So, I had to wait around more thar half an hour. Finally, one engineer took my phone to check after hearing the issue.
      He took an hour to check the phone and said your phone found under Liquid Log, I was told estimation around INR 18, 000 to change the display. I tried to explain the engineer that this green vertical line had appeared randomly post software update and it is not related to any liquid damage. I also raised my concern on Samsung customer support via mail, and they also kept explaining that it is chargeable as your phone found failed under liquid damage. On January 26, 2023, I called to customer care to know the solution of it, they suggested me to raise Q&A in Samsung service that I had visited earlier. I tried to connect service on 27 January 2023 to raise Q&A, but no one picked up my call. On 28 January 2023, I again went to the same service centre to get the Q&A raised but engineer initially refused to raise the Q&A and I was asked to know whom you suggested this. I called to the customer care and explained the whole issue but somehow, they got convinced to raise the Q&A. I want to highlight the fact that I am not the only consumer who have had this issue. This is a known issue and has been raised in many Samsung communities.

      As per my discussion with the technician, it was brought to my attention that the above-mentioned issue is due to a software update which is triggering it in some devices. My device was working fine until that phone update bricked the display. It would be ethically incorrect for SAMSUNG to charge for something which the consumer is not at fault and skim a hefty amount on account of putting an untimely malfunctioning update. As a responsible, multinational manufacturing conglomerate SAMSUNG like other countries should have put in a notification about the mistake and should have recalled the products from the market and fixed them putting it on consumers, as it seems altogether a discrimination to Indian consumers community.

      Besides being annoyed by the malfunctioning phone, I've to go through all this while taking my time out, I have decided that in no means possible a consumer can be held liable on a company's faulty account and should not pay for what isn't his/her fault.

      Being a loyal SAMSUNG customer & having several other products & also indulging in various APPLE vs SAMSUNG battles, if this is the outcome that the product for which I've paid a heavy amount starts to give me nightmares and horrible experience, I would start to look for alternatives and that's how on times like this, a firm loses its consumers.
      Keeping this in mind, before taking any other actions, I'm writing to grant an extension / exception on the given advisory and getting my phone fixed as soon as possible.

      It seemed hard nut to crack to get my issue resolved from Samsung but finally they perceived and considered my phone under FOC. It took me almost one month to have the resolution. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

      I understand the issue is already being notified and is with the company but the resolution of the issue is still pending. After repeated attempts of talking with company technicians, I have been told as per policy I need to pay for the repair which is caused by a malfunctioning software update. In one part, I am super frustrated that for a big multinational company like Samsung, why it is that hard to own responsibilities for the issues caused by software updates. Why consumers like me have to do followups for a service which should be automatically provided? Why consumers are being asked to pay for it?
      In one part, I am still trying to keep a little hope that company would do the right thing instead of avoiding responsibility.

          I ordered samsung ecobubble 8 kg washing machine from samsung official app on 11 jan which is delivered on 13 of jan after installation i use the washing machine and found that my clothes are damaged during cleansing in washing machine i registred a complain many times but 2 times engineer visit and they approved that this washing machine is defective but there is no resolve provided by co they are only wasting my time till today that 31 of jan kindly requested forum help me to figure out from this problem

              Samsung simply didn't ship the product yet and resolving any issue.
              I raised complaint many times via mail support, whatsapp, call support, but got no solution. All they say is "We are working on it and raised your problem to dedicated team" everytime.
              They are just repeating the same without any progress for more than a week.

              My current phone has problems, and unable to complete my photography tasks with it. So, ordered a phone from samsung website and it is the first time ordering from there.

              Samsung should:
              -Samsung shouldn't show wrong information at the time of purchase.
              - I paid for the phone to get at delivered time, and not like pre ordering system, so, samsung takes my phone and bail out on delivering it on time.
              - Samsung should give option to deliver other colors, storage options which are in stock in case my ordered version is not in stock.
              -Samsung should compensate their customers for all the troubles by partial refunding, providing other services.

              Truely worst experience till now with samsung.

              Why should I share my contact number/ email in public forum? Samsung can contact me directly by getting to the order number.

              The worst thing that happened is the moment phone came in stock, samsung generated an invoice, packed my product and suddenly cancelled my order without any explanation. And now asking me to buy in much higher price. SO, all these time I waited, and samsung simply made the situation worse.
              If I am going to reorder samsung should make the product available at lower price than I ordered for all the inconvinience caused or at least in same price as before.

                    During Nov 22 patch update my Galaxy f41 stuck with samsung logo and not booted further. I approched samsung care for resolution. The technician informed motherboard needs to ne replaced being corrupted. I informed that during update its got corrupted so samsung should replace it freely however they hold the complaint and informed after a week follow-up they won't repair free. At last I paid the charge and replaced the motherboard. Then decided to approach in consumer forum. Also I promised I will never buy nor recommend anyone to purchase samsung product further. Thus Samsung should be boycott from India.
                    Also I demand the refund with intest and compensation of 50000 for essential data loss.
                    The motherboard replaced by paing 3680/_ as replacement charge but the IMEI number not changed so have doubt that my motherboard was repaired and no new motherboard installed. So needs investigate regarding replacement.

                      - Ordered a Samsung Galaxy S21 FE on January 19 2023 from Samsung electronics official website
                      - Order number [protected]
                      - Delivery date was 25th January 2023

                      After waiting so many days and passing many days after delivery date is over, my order status is same as on first day. The product is not shipped or even packaged yet.

                      Purchasing first time from Samsung this has been the worst purchase experience there. I contacted support team via whatsapp, phone call, live chat, mail, but no one could any definite answer about order status and simply said that they are working on it. Feels THe support team is very slow at responding same thing and when they do no solution is there.

                      I even suggested that even if they have stock issues with the colored model I order, they can send other colors as well which are showing in stock as well. To which they said they cant do that.
                      Then why even show show wrong information to me when placing my order.

                      I am having problems with current device, and wanted the phone to arrive sooner. Looking at no solution or response from their team. Very bad experience, got no solution, no responsiblity, no compensation yet.

                        I bought my M31s on 2020 and it was so comfortable for daily use . But unfortunately after i updated my phone on september 2022 it become slow and while i was using it had a long vibration for almost 5 min and it was switched off. After that when i try to switch on it take almost 15 min to be in the homescreen and i thought it might because of the new update. Bt it started to frequently switch off. When i contacted the local mobile shop they told me to visit the service centre which is 20km away. After reaching the service centre they checked and told there is a motherboard issue bt while talking unfortunately he told me that this is caused by the new update. He also mention that some other mobiles also have the same issue due to the update. He told it will cost around 8k-10k to fix the problem .
                        I hope the problem will be solved.

                          I am sharing this email just to seek help from your end as i bought a refrigerator a year ago(Dec'2021) and today this refrigerator works for me just as one metal box not more than that as cooling is not at all happening in my fridge.

                          Today when I called the service engineer at my premises to check the same, he said there is no gas left in your fridge and when I ask the reason, he is giving foolish reasons that by opening/ closing the fridge or due to bad quality if air it will happen normally and sometimes it will happen in 6 months as well. After having such conversation with the service engineer the first thought came into my mind that what is the product reliability, samsung is providing on their products.

                          Please help me on this matter as no one is eager to check the actual root cause instead they want to just fill gas in the fridge and close their open service call.

                          Hope to get support from your end ASAP and request you to ask your service team to provide a foolproof solution to the problem.

                              Thanks for your kind response the pictures for the order are attached, it's become quite shocking if samsung is involved in on line sale scam my only problem is why will I not receive for what I have paid for .
                              This is the second time it's repeating 01 it was with the samsung fold 3 bought on line the cover is yet not recived when it was clearly mentioned in my order .

                              This time it has happened with the samsung freestyle projector Foc item is not given and some green clour cover is sent .
                              Why would u guys do that with your customers who have invested so much into samsung.

                              Kindly let me know when would all this clear it's been 17 days and still I get is only assurance. The foc items pictures are attached the adaptor is missing rest all items recieved.

                              Also picture of the package recieved in place of the adaptor, the green colour skin details attached .I have been cheated this can happen only in India.

                              Then after that some email from support we cannot help you the time frame is up .

                              1. I was away on new year to my home town in chandigarh the items were recieved by my office in my absence.
                              2. On arrival we checked all items as per the offer were recieved by my office leaving the samsung adapter, but the package has a freestyle skin not part of my offer .
                              While checking with ur support team it was claimed I recieved the wrong item.
                              3. Why will you not send me the FOC AS OFFERED BEFORE BUYING THE PRODUCT AND WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ADAPTER.
                              4. HOW MANY MAILS DO I HAVE TO WRITE to get what I have paid for .
                              5. If samung is in no position to fulfill by offer which was given to me then why don't you take the product back.
                              6. This is a on line sale that's why you can cheat customers this way .whom to catch.
                              7.If have sent me a WRONG ITEM THEN WHY NOT OFFER A SOLUTION.

                              I had received a call from Simran who was reading a script and not willing to under stand my problem.

                              Yesterday the whole case was discussed and I was told they would check the missing item and update me .

                              Who would help me with this scam where you are claiming foc item received but a diffrent item was sent i have shared all the pictures and even asked the department to track the item with the serial number from where this item came pictures are attached again .
                              WHO WOULD GET INTOUCH WITH ME I HAVE PAID MONEY FOR THE PACKAGE.
                              KINDLY LET ME KNOW the depart which calls me is on a auto mated script only saying we cannot help you.

                              Kindly update me what to do and whom to approach.

                                Had purchase Samsung 55 inch TV model number UA55AUE65AKXXL, bearing serial # 5EZD36TT702467N. After one and half month a small dot was visible so I raised ticket in Samsung care centre on 17th Dec and technician visited on 22nd Dec when he saw he said physical damage and told company will not repair under warranty as it is damage might be through transportation or company fault. I will not get repair so pls help me as I had purchase television for 39741 int
                                Samsung India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                  @SamsungMobile @SamsungIndia it's pathetic Samsung m31s gives trouble after Android update and this samsung people asks 8700 making cx fool by selling cheap quality processor mobile and later on making complaint to ceo they say will give u 50 percent discount samsung fooling us i have complaint on Samsung ceo desk Twitter facebook via mail my phone is in service centre from almost 1 month nothing is been resolved they say to do dm but they don't even reply

                                  [email protected] till now there is nothing resolved Mr Rohit Dubey offered me a 50 percent discount on mother board price which is again an amount that if i sell after getting repaired i will not get that much amount Sked Mr Dubey that then provide me a 1 year warranty if i am spending that much amount he had no answer i mean how can I trust samsung again i mean mother board gets damaged after an ota update what a dubious and smart way to loot and cheat customers not expected from a brand as samsung
                                  There is no action yet been taken by your so called customer care and not even the company ceo page they are on the same note what they were before and the resolution past 2.5 months is nothing great phone great service great way to cheat customers samsung

                                    I had purchased Samsung galaxy s21 fe 5g phone from Samsung shop applications on 6 months no cost emi from sbi credit card when the emi got debit i was charged for extra emi interest and gst for which the neither the bank is ready to take responsibility neither the merchant is ready to take the responsibility.
                                    Samsung India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
