Dear Team

I bought a Samsung M31S phone in August 2020 In India with a lot of expectations. My Previous phone was One Plus 3T. Due to the advanced Camera Features and Budget-friendly phone, I took the decision to buy this phone. It has been working well for 2 years.

6 months back we moved to Krakow - Poland due to my work assignment. After the latest OS update, My phone started visible problems like a flickering screen, rebooting etc. Yesterday the phone is totally out of order with the Logo screen on and I was not able to switch it on. Later it has become a black blank screen. We couldn't find any nearby Samsung Service Centre in Krakow, Hence gave my phone to a local mobile repair shop and they told me it could be a Motherboard issue which would cost Rs 8000 to 10000. I'm in a dilemma about what to do. I'm also afraid of Data backup as well.

Appreciate your quick response on the same to fix this. Since I have seen this is company's fault due to the OS Update, Samsung should fix this free of cost or agree to a free Motherboard Replacement.

    I had purchased Samsung S22 Ultra from Croma, Karol Bagh, New Delhi store. The product costed around INR 1, 02, 000/-. It was sold along with an offer of an accompanying Samsung smart watch for which I paid and Rs 3000 and which was assured to be available in the next 3-4 days. Within 24 hours o[censored]nboxing, the S22 Ultra's volume keys got stuck / jammed and on the evening of 3rd Jan'23, I handed over the phone back to Croma asking for a replacement. They tested the volume keys and said that indeed, it was a hardware issue and Samsung replaces the product with brand new if the reason is hardware issue reported within 14 days of purchase.

    To this date, I've been following up with Samsung, even written to their CEO but to no avail. The phone is still with Samsung service Centre or with Croma since I've refused to take back a defective phone. At first, the service centre called me on 4th January and said it was fitment issue and therefore a minor cosmetic issue which they have set right and now the phone is working fine. I was appalled at their describing a fitment issue to be a minor cosmetic issue as such a phone should not have passed quality assurance and should not have been sold. In any case, I refuse to take back the phone since fitment issue implied that it's been repaired and repair for a fitment issue can only be opening up the phone and then addressing the alignment. When I persisted, and reported to the CEO, some Deepali has been chasing me consistently saying they understand my problem and escalating the issue but each time comes back saying that they cannot replace the phone or give a refund but willing to extend the warranty by 12 month. She attributes the reason for the jammed keys to dust collection which she says has now been cleaned. When I quizzed her as to how she can give to me a different reason to what her service centre guys said, she has no answer. She doesn't have any answer to how it is logical for a phone to accumulate so much dust within a day o[censored]nboxing to jam the volume keys. She doesn't have any answer to why then they are willing to extend the warranty by another 12 months if they found no issues in the phone.

    I only want what's just and fair which is for Samsung to either replace with an identical unboxed phone or refund 100% money, including the Rs 3000 I've paid for the Samsung Smart Watch which is not yet received by me.

      On the 31st of December evening, my device S20+ displayed a 'GREEN LINE' in the middle of the screen. Upon checking and consulting online I noticed that 'the green line issue' has been an occurrence for many a users throughout the world/India.

      At 07.00PM IST, when this occurred, I called the customer care support (mobile) and connected to the adviser who informed me about the issue and also told me that he'll lodge a complaint ID- [protected], Post he informed that he would like to connect the call to the supervisor. Hence, the call got further transferred to the Supervisor named Rajat, who was aware of the issue and acknowledged that the issue is at SAMSUNG's end and also advised about the company advisory in which SAMSUNG accepted it was liable for a display change. The call lasted for half an hour and he also gave me a complaint ID [protected]. He also assured me that I will receive a call from SAMSUNG Sr complaints team on this, which I'm yet to receive.

      It came to my knowledge that the advisory was until the last day of the year i.e 31st of December 2022 and all this was happening on the eve of the last day, I contacted the customer service center at 07.00PM IST (when the green line first displayed) and they informed me that they have closed for the day and Sunday they also keep a day off. Coincidence/unfortunate it being that I got the issue at a date and time when the advisory was about to end.

      Following up on it, I went to the service center on 2/1/2023 and I got another call from Customer care team and the advisor Identified as Ashutosh who also informed about the notification about the year end and as I was at SAMSUNG service center, he also spoke to the team there ( Name: Ride ) through my phone and advised them to create a 'Job Sheet' and nothing more.

      At the service center I spoke to Customer care officer Name: Disha A Jondhale Id: Disha079 who also quoted the policy and advised me to talk to call support.

      I would like to inform you that I'm not at all pleased with the fault my phone incurred due to SAMSUNG's update followed by the bad support as a consumer I've received. It makes no sense to me that a fault like this, SAMSUNG has put on a date/time instead of 'Product recalls' or coming out with a better solution to which a person having this issue would have two weeks to get it fixed instead of an year end and conveniently dodging it's own fault and responsibility. Not to mention if this is what's happening to the prime series of SAMSUNG flagship phones like S20+, I don't want to imagine what a common user of A/M series would face.

      It would be ethically incorrect for SAMSUNG to charge for something which the consumer is not at fault and skim a hefty amount on account of putting an untimely malfunctioning update. As a responsible, multinational manufacturing conglomerate SAMSUNG like other countries should have put in a notification about the mistake and should have recalled the products from the market and fixed them rather putting it on consumers, as it seems altogether a discrimination to Indian consumers community.

      Besides being annoyed by the malfunctioning phone, I've to go through all this while taking my time out, I've decided that in no means possible a consumer can be held liable on a company's faulty account and shouldn't pay for what isn't his/her fault.

      Being a loyal SAMSUNG customer & having several other products & also indulging in various APPLE vs SAMSUNG battles, if this is the outcome that the product for which I've paid a heavy amount starts to give me nightmares and horrible experience, I would start to look for alternatives and that's how on times like this, a firm loses its consumers.
      Keeping this in mind, before taking any other actions, I'm writing to grant an extension / exception on the given advisory and getting my phone fixed as soon as possible.

        1- product description, they hide the info about size and space, this dishwasher is not for normal size utensils.
        2- online picture are fake that shows dishwasher spacious.
        3- did not get installation service in till 9jan-2023, only get demo.

          Out of no where a green line starts to appear on my samsung galaxy s20 plus. My mobile was in my hand and suddenly a vertical line was on the display, I checked Google and found out it's a problem in this series. I request you to solve this problem on immediate basis as it's a problem from your side.

            I bought a Samsung Top load washing machine from Samsung website (Order Id [protected]) for 15k on 25th October. In just a month, the buttons stopped working and I raised an Incident with them on Dec 16th. After multiple followups, the techinician showed up on 21st Dec and confirmed that the buttons have to be replaced and the parts have to be ordered. He ordered the part on 21st and It has been more than 15 days and the part has been not replaced. The technician is saying that they have not received the part and it will take another 10 days. I have called the Service center atleast 20 times, and the response is the same that they will check on it. The service and Support experience has been the worst I have seen in my life.

            when i walked into the service center today, they said that, they have ordered the wrong part and they are going to order the new part again and I will have to wait another few weeks for that part to get delivered. Absolutely pathetic customer service

            It has been more than one month since i raised the service request. My family is washing the clothers by hand all this time. Even after waiting for so long, my washing machine is not serviced. This is very unacceptable.

              Pushed/automatics Software updation caused my mobile (samsung S10) hanged and IMEI number wiped out and SIM is not recognizing.

              To complain about this, I called service contact number from my BSNL Mobile number and unable to reach their number. It seems some issue to connect service contact center

              Please can you call me on mobile [protected] to discuss troubles caused by such unacceptable (IMEI number wiped out and SIM is not registering or recognizing in network). This has caused big inconvenience, financial loss and above all I lost trust in Samsung mobile phone quality/compliance of their components (may be incompatable boards in handset)

                We have purchased a Samsung Double Door Refrigerator in 22/OCT/2018 (Frost Free RT37M5538S8/TL Elegant Inox) Rs. 36, 500. Hardly 4 years o[censored]sage, it has started created problems int the freezer section with lot of noise. When contacted the customer care of Samsung (Ref: [protected]), a person came to attend the problem. After careful examination, he came to a conclusion that the internal thermocol of the freezer is damaged. Has clicked few photo's of the damage along with purchase/invoice copy of the refrigerator and submitted the same to the main service team. After a couple of days we received a call from Samsung customer care inform us that "The damage cannot be replaced or serviced. We will give/issue 10% purchase value coupon/DD. You can use the same to buy a new Refrigerator".

                For consumers like me, it is like giving a biscuit to purchase a product from the same company which do not have standards of producing quality products and then again encouraging the customers to buy the same sub-standard products from the same company with 90% depreciation.

                From consumers like me, Samsung should ideally give 90% of the purchase value in cash/DD.

                    I ordered a phone on 17th December, 2022 on EMI and cancelled the order on the very same day. Online Order ID : [protected]

                    It is converted to EMI by bank, because of the delay in refund from Samsung. It's already been 10 days and 8 business days since I cancelled the order.

                    Refund has still not been initiated. Bank will start deducting the EMI soon. Even I can't track the refund status.

                      After Online software update motherboard issue happened Samsung A51

                      I sincerely hoped that I would get justice from Samsung. But it did not happen. I had to suffer for whole 2 months but got no justice. Samsung team checked my phone and it be was proved that there is no physical damage or any water damage in the phone from this it is clear that in is not my fault it's Samsung fault.                       For the last 2 days my galaxy active 2 watch's display malfunctioning and I have gone to the customer service team in thrissur, India on[protected]. But they are saying "Motherboard is damaged due to liquid and it's not covered in warranty, also it's not repairable. However, it's actually in warranty as I purchased this last February. I only used it for regular use and there is no way that it's damaged.

                      This is so disappointing to me. The watch failed within 10 months period. They simply claimed that the watch is water damaged. This is not acceptable. Actually this watch is water resistant and it has feature to detect and calculate the calories spent on swimming.
                      Also, I understand the product is water-resistant which the brand claims to be on website and other channels therefore it should not have been damaged in the first place. Would like to know a solution on warranty claim and explanation about fragility of the product and wearables like watches could be damaged for the mentioned reasons.

                      Did not expect something like this could happen. Highly disappointed as it's not worth it to purchase such fragile products from Samsung
                      (It's a wearable product and a watch, it needs to be robust and waterproof/resistant; so it needs to work for a long period as well.)

                          I have purchased Samsung 8kg washing machine 3 years ago, it is started giving problems from starting month itself. I have been booking service request many times every time technician will come and run simulation test and say its working after sometime machine start to go off when running washing. This is happening all along 3 years now exactly after 3 years my complaint filed they said simulation test ok after two days exactly warranty period they revealing board problem.                             Hello Team,

                            After updating the software on my s20 plus device. Device screen became green and white. Not able use the device after that.

                            Took the device to the Samsung authorized service center. They have inspected and told device is not under warranty but there is no physical or water damage on the device.

                            And they have told some s20 plus devices had green vertical line issue they will support only for that for the Free screen replacement.

                            I have checked twitter and other social media on this. S20 plus devices has green and white issue as well after the software update. Its clear that Samsung s20 plus has manufacturing issue. Fault is not only on my device.

                            Requesting Samsung to take this seriously and address it. Accept my request on one time free replacement of screen on the s20 plus device.

                            Hi Team, I got a call from Avinashi samsung service center stating that no communication happened with them after submitting the mobile and it's been 4 days. So they are requesting to cancel the process and take back the mobile.

                            Please have a communication with service center for re analysis and provide me the confirmation.

                            This is not expected from reputed company like Samsung.

                              1. Auto deleting contacts every week and then eve day. (Lost almost 50% contacts. Could not be retrieved even from back up mail id.
                              2. Phone stopped charging using USB cord with in 9 months of buy. Once plugged in with USB it there will be a loud siren sound which at the first time frightened me and leading the phone fall from hand and display getting damaged. I was left with no option but charge it wirelessly and had to buy a wireless charger. The panic situation compelled me to buy another phone costing me 55K
                              3. I reached Samsung India customer service centre lately to raise the issue but they rejected to consider the technical failure of the phone (Charging issue due to the failure of IP 68 rating claims) and rejected to repair for no cost and asked for Rs. 13000/-.
                              4. I raised the issue over social media and with in few days got call from Samsung. I updated every situation including the display damage due to the sudden siren alarm which started to alarm immediately after plugging in with USB cord and they assured me of solution.
                              5. I again received the call to submit the hand set in Samsung Service centre for further actions from their side. (Total time taken 10 days)
                              6. On receiving the hand set, they denied to consider the case and rejected my claims and demanded the monies for repair.
                              7. Over all Samsung India wasted my more than a month. Also the mental trauma i had gone through during all these days, loosing contacts, loosing business and loosing money (Samsung device cost and alternate device cost).
                              The first complaint of non charging and contact lost was registered on 19.11.2022, handed over phone to Samsung Service centre Delhi India on 3.12.2022.
                              Now my phone is with Samsung and no replacement. repair/ compensation is been done

                              I am looking at the replacement of the phone and the compensation against the alternate phone I had to buy in the situation o[censored]rgency.

                                Problem with Product: touch not working properly, spen not working properly, app crash issues

                                So with reference to above order, I had received defected laptop, and within 24 hrs I had placed return request on Samsung shop app.

                                Regarding that I had received mail from Samsung and they advised me to visit service centre in Amravati.
                                I had called to Samsung service centre, Tulsi softronics Amravati, but they refused to check laptop and denied to give certificates Regarding faults which is essential for return process. They told me only mobile phone service is available there.

                                I had informed that matter to Samsung customer care service on 5 Dec 2022, they told me we will arrange engineer visit to your home, they will check Product and return request will processed. But no one visit
                                Then again on 8 Dec 2022 I had informed matter to Samsung service centre, they told me we will soon arrange engineer visit. No one visited. I had kept contacting again and again. Every time I get different advice like, one of your executives advised me to visit Aurangabad service centre, another one advised to visit Gondia. Both cities are approximately 400 km away my city Amravati. Before purchase of product I had asked Samsung, whether laptop service centre is available in Amravati, they told yes, thereafter I had ordered laptop.

                                On 10 Dec I had called Samsung service centre again, discussed all matter, they told me to visit Samsung service centre ELECTROCARE, Radha nagar, Amravati phone.. [protected]. I had called them, discussed matter, but they told me we don't provide service for laptop, they only provide service for home appliances .

                                Again on 10 Dec 2022 I had called and told them both of your service rcentre in Amravati had refused to check Product and denied to provide sny certificates. I also tried to connect with your senior executive, but they refused to talk with me and told me it's your and service centres matters.

                                After 14 days your engineer visited on 14 Dec 2022 checked laptop
                                Regarding that on 15 Dec 2022, I have received of Samsung senior executive Jitender and they told me that S pen that I am using is not compatible with laptop, that's why there is problem.
                                Before purchase of product I had asked customer care of Samsung whether S pen of Tab S 6 lite will work with Laptop.
                                They told me yes, thereafter I had purchased laptop.

                                Now after purchase, when laptop was not working properly. Samsung executives are telling S pen is not compatible . This means Samsung has misguided customer and now refusing to return product back.

                                Even after purchase of product I had called Samsung customer care to provide installation and demonstration of products, but they refused to provide physical installation and told me that you will receive call regarding online installation of product
                                But since last 19 days no call received regarding installation of product.

                                ALLEGATIONS ON SAMSUNG

                                1. MISGUIDING CUSTOMER

                                Before product I had asked customer care of Samsung whether S pen of Tab S 6 lite will work with Laptop.
                                They told me yes, thereafter I had purchased laptop.Now after purchase, when laptop was not working properly. Samsung executives are telling S pen is not compatible with laptop.

                                Before purchase they said laptop service is available in Amravati, after purchase they are telling laptop service centre is not available in Amravati

                                In my case different advice given by your executives like go to Aurangabad, go to Gondia, our engineer will visit your home. Go to service centres in Amravati. These types of different advise misguided customer

                                2. LACK OF SUPPORT

                                Even after purchase of product I had called Samsung customer care to provide installation and demonstration of products, but they refused to provide physical installation and told me that you will receive call regarding online installation of product
                                But since last 19 days not call received regarding installation of product.

                                3. MENTAL HARRASSMENT OF CUSTOMER

                                Since last 19 days no proper solution provided regarding return of faulty product . and your executives are toying with customers. Which I had discussed above.

                                4. LACK OF SERVICE
                                after purchase of product when I had faced problems I had called Samsung customer care they told me to visit Tulsi Softronics Amravati and Electrocare Amravati but when I had called them both the service cetres refused to provide service.

                                5. LACK OF TECHNICALLY SOUND ENGINEERS

                                When I had received call by one of your technical expert he told me when touch working properly then s pen should work fine. But I had told them s pen technology is different than touch technology, there is active digitizer under screen in spen supported devices. But they didn't understand, it means Samsung engineer don't have sound knowledge of product and Samsung technology.

                                Since last 20 days I am trying to return faulty product. For that I had called Samsung customer care no . 1
                                15 to 18 times, discussed matter with your whats app chat service. But so solution provided till date, I have provided all the documents videos photos whichever asked
                                I have filled complaint so many times at support.[protected]@samsung.com, but no reply received

                                So please tell me what should I do now.
                                I want immediate action on this matter
                                I am frustrated why did I ordered Samsung product
                                Samsung harassing me since last 20 bdays
                                Do needful otherwise I will take strict action against Samsung in court. This bad experience will be soon soon shared in social media, newspapers and for any defamation only Samsung will be held responsible.
                                I have all call recordings, all screeshots of chats .
                                This is last warning to Samsung India

                                  I am facing a issue about my mobile phone display of Model Samsung A50. I am already change my display for two time because of black spot observed on display. Every time they told that display damaged due to external pressure, and the same issue was repeated third time also and then i contacted to Samsung customer care center and i put up a complaint under warranty but they again told that it was not cover under warranty because of display problem. We give it two months before and i contact with customer care at that service persons asking the mail conformation to start the work .But Samsung customer care giving clearance in phone conversation but they didn't send the mail. so please do need ful to me.

                                    The vertical line on my device which appeared because of Samsung's technical glitch was not attended to stating that my phone has a broken display which I had mend my way.
