This is in context to the purchase of my samsung note 9 phone from samsung e-shop during the pre-booking scheme under which the phone was booked by me on 15th august 2018 and payment was duly made by my credit card.
As per the scheme entitlement, i was eligible for purchase of samsung gear 2 watch at rs.4999/- in case the phone was purchased during pre-booking scheme.
Taking in consideration the scheme in place, i had ordered the phone vide order number[protected] dated 15th august 2018. The billing address as per the order copy was as under (Copy enclosed):

The mobile phone was duly delivered on 22nd august 2018 vide sales invoice no. Chnri[protected], dated 20/08/2018 with billing address as under (Copy enclosed):

I also received a call on my mobile number +91-[protected] from samsung, assuring me of delivery on the phone as per desired time line.
As per the terms of pre-booking the phone was duly activated with my above mentioned mobile number: [protected]. Despite of having passed 2-3 days the banner did not appear and hence i called the samsung helpline, who assured me that the same will appear soon and that i should wait. Even after 1 week, when the banner still did not appear, i called the customer care again was informed that the mobile number used by me i. E. [protected] for activation was not correct and that i was should check the same or write a mail. Despite repeated request i was not shared with the correct number and hence i had sent the mail on 30th august 2018 to samsung for this issue.
Despite several mails sent by me, the only repeated reply i received back was:
1. Use a mobile number that you used to pre-book galaxy note9.
2. Sign in into my galaxy with the same mobile number.
3. Click the galaxy note9 banner redemption banner, and complete the process.
There had been close to around 25 communications from me to following address for resolving this issue since 30th august 2018 but all in vein:

Since 4th september 2018 apart from above, i have been copying emails also to, mr. Hong hyun chul hc. [protected]@samsung.com and later on also added support. [protected]@samsung.com only in anticipation that some-one at samsung would resolve the matter.
In all my mails, i have been repeatedly, enclosing order copy, invoice copy, imei details, actual facts yet i was receiving the same messaged for repeated information.
It was over my last email sent on 14th october 2018, i had received a revert from support. [protected]@samsung.com vide email dated 15th october 2018, stating that:
“this is in reference to your email regarding the gear sport coupon redemption.
We regret inconvenience caused to you.
As we have checked that you did the activation by using billing number [protected] instead of shipping mobile number [protected]due to which reason coupon banner did not reflect.
Today, as discussed we have forwarded your concern to the respective team for taken the exceptional approval for fulfil your requirement.
We request you to kindly allow us sometime.

On the same day, i also received a call from mr. Rahul, contact no. [protected], informing me that the matter has been identified and that a request has been raised for resolving the issue and was assured that i would be provided with the samsung gear as per the scheme.
I finally had a slight relief that someone has finally listened to my grievance. I was told to wait for 1 week for resolution and accordingly i wrote a mail on 23rd october 2018 enquiring the status.
I received a mail back on 23rd october 2018 evening with the most astonishing reply.
“thank you for your email.
This is in reference to your email regarding coupon code.
We would like to inform you that coupon code redemption offer period has been closed.
Please drop an email on mg. [protected]@samsung.com with below mentioned details for coupon code related concerns.
Please feel free to call customer care number 1800 10 samsung [protected]Toll free).

pratap”
So despite of writing over 25 emails since 30th august 2018, finally the issue was identified that the company had used the contact number in the delivery address instead of the contact number at the billing address and accordingly, the banner could not appear since i had been using the number +91-[protected] for activation.
In fact, the same fact was already raised by me in my email correspondence, since i had noticed that the mobile number has been wrongly typed as +91-[protected] instead of +91-[protected] in the delivery address, but no one had ever reverted on the same.
I fail to understand, that:
1. Payment of rs.67, 800/- has been duly made by me
2. Order copy has my number as +91-[protected]
3. Invoice copy has my number as +91-[protected]
4. Samsung had been communicating with me on the number +91-[protected]
Now, only if you people enter the delivery number for redemption coupon and not the billing number, you cannot deny me the scheme committed at the time of pre-booking the phone.
Also, when i have been mentioning the facts over last 1 month, you could at least have a resolution to it.
Over and above, that finally you promise to get it resolved and then after one week you tell me that the offer is closed.
I am forced to believe that i have been deliberately cheated by samsung and have been forced to waste so much time and effort and go through all the trauma of writing mails and receiving totally irrelevant replies.
i have disclosed all the facts, not because i am dying for the gear but because such an unprofessional behaviour from a big company like samsung is very difficult to digest.
