On 21 June 2015, while charging my Samsung Galaxy S4 phone from a USB cable connected to the laptop, out of nowhere this message popped up saying something about power sharing.It said you need to install an application. I dismissed it. But now my phone has stopped charging from the charger as well as USB cable. Then I called at Samsung Customer Care and the person could not grasp and resolve my problem. I have lodged complaint with Samsung vide reference no. [protected] on 21 June and received a call on 22 June. The person on phone asked me to bring the phone in safe mode. I tried but the phone didn't go into safe mode. Then I went to the Samsung Customer Service Center at Dwarka, New Delhi. They did factory reset. They tried to bring phone in safe mode but could not do it. This is the mockery with the emotions and sentiments of the trusted customers by the company, who for promoting their Power Sharing Cable has started following these cheap gimmicks. Customers should not be taken for granted. If this problem is not resolved in next 72 hours, they will be forced to take Samsung to the Consumer Court. Comments given by various customers about this problem on Power Sharing Application at Google Store ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.app.powershari... ) being faced during last 2 weeks itself is an evidence about the inconvenience created to the customers for promotion of Power Sharing Cable by Samsung. This has already dented good standing and reputation of Samsung in today's competitive world of mobiles and will have long lasting effects. My humble appeal to Samsung Mobile is to address this problem at earliest and advice their call centers/customer cells to co-operate and assist their customers in overcoming this problem free of cost at earliest .

    • Hi, I am forced to write to because of the inefficiency of your service center and customer care center, who have not only failed to provide solution to my problem but are actually harassing me. I have explained this story many times over to service center and customer care center, but writing briefly here again for your information. I bought a refrigerator on May 9, 2015, model number RT36JSRYESA/TL (receipt attached). When this refrigerator was delivered to me it came with the upper door dented from the side. I immediately complained to the dealer and to the customer care center. After few follow-ups and days, two people came to replace this dented door. As they replaced the door, they used the PCB panel, see attached image, from the previous door. So, while removing this PCB panel from the earlier door, they damaged it badly as they were pulling it out with screw drivers. They incurred cuts/scratches on the PSB panel. Also, when they installed it on to the new door, they could not make it properly fitted. It is coming out from the upper end and too much pressed from the lower end. Clearly, it’s the fault of these people who came for the job and could not do the job properly. I mentioned it on the form they gave for my signatures, that this is faulty and I’m not satisfied. I think nobody bothered to read that piece of paper, neither service center not Samsung. So, I filed the follow-up complaint. This time a man called Akash ([protected]) came from the local service center. He inspected the situation and told me that my complaint is justified and should be resolved soon. But after a few days I started getting calls from the service center that this time it will be chargeable!! I was surprised to hear that. With no fault of mine, they were asking for money. I again spoke to customer care, This time a man called Ravinder ([protected]) came and inspected. He also agreed and assured me of resolution soon. But again, after a few days, started getting calls that this service would be chargeable as it is out of warranty now. Next day they said it is chargeable because your door has already been replaced twice. But actually door has been only replaced once. So, they were clearly lying. I also spoke to Mr. Aman ([protected]), a manager at the service center, he too said the same things. This is actually happening now for more than a month. Their statements are contradictory. Some day they tell me that your parts have been ordered and would be installed soon, but on the next day they say that this cannot be done!! They are not only giving me strange excuses but are actually causing me grave harassment. There does not seem to be proper coordination between your customer care center and the respective service center at all. One say one thing other says totally different thing. I bought this fridge to make my life easy, but actually it as become a pain for me. I am not sure what they want, they always ask for money!! Is it some kind of corruption happening in Samsung service centers? I am actually thinking of exploring legal options available, but trying this last resort before that. I have gone through enough pain and a customer like me does not get connected to a company like Samsung for such a treatment. I DO NOT DESERVE THIS. A customer being treated like this, would you get up and do your bit? Request you to take this on a priority basis and help resolve the issue ASAP.       Totally disappointed with the selfie camera's hardware in the new Samsung S6Edge. It started showing a blue dot within 3 days of my purchase and it increased to 5 dots in 10 days, which is when I noticed this problem. When I talked to Samsung customer care they said I should get the phone repaired, but I was expecting a new replacement as it was only 12 days old and its their most expensive premium smartphone. They simply refused to replace or refund me and instead are adamant that their policy doesn't allow replacement beyond 7 days and I should get it repaired. I feel completely ripped off for spending 60k+ Rupees on below par hardware in this phone. Its been 7 days now and they still are trying to force me to get it repaired. So please don't buy this product! Please share this message with your family and friends who plan to buy this phone. For the Samsung's senior most team if you see this message, heres my reference number for the issue: [protected]. So far Samsung didn't even care to appoint a senior member of their team to my case, who might have higher authority in such a situation.

        I have ordered for earphones (worth Rs 899) on June 11 2015 from https://www.samsungindiaestore.com/. The product was supposed to be delivered in 5-7 business days. I wanted to see the status of the shipment after 3 days and found the status to be 'Ordered by consumer' and so (As on June 15 2015) I wrote an email to support.[protected]@samsung.com requesting to provide an update on the shipment to which I was replied that "We are in process of dispatching your order. An email will be sent to you on your registered email id once the order is ready for shipping". Later on June 17 2015, to my surprise the status of my order was still 'Ordered by consumer' on the product site ans wrote an email again saying "Hi Team, Still no update available on my order : 1356428. Request you to process on the dispatch ASAP (suppose to be a gift to a frnd' bday).. Hope you understand" for which I was replied 'We have forwarded your order status request to the concerned team. You will receive the dispatch details on your registered email id' and no update or action taken till date as on June[protected] days), and finally I was so disappointed with the services and asked them to cancel the order and refund ASAP. Also I called on to to know the status, and I was told that product has never been dispatched. Very disappointing!. So I have confirmed to cancel my product and return the payment. I could have ordered on any other site the same and could have got the product delivered in two days or so. But I just I had the trust in Samsung and their product and thought Samsung would take responsibility and value their customer. But it is not supposed to be so. Proved themselves. Really not good for a brand like SAMSUNG to respond this way. VERY DISAPPOINTING !!!
        I have a similar situation, I bought a smart watch samsung gear s3 from shop.samsung.com on 17.07.2018, the delivery period stated during procurement mentioned 2-4 business days. Later samsung estore informed that the product is out of stock and I will be notified when it becomes available at their warehouse. Note, I was informed about the unavailability of the product on the same day after the bank committed the purchase transaction. When I asked their estore about cancellation, they mentioned that the cancellation will involve atleast a period of 10 days and moreover they cannot give any timeline in written about the cancellation process. I discovered reviews on compliant board where many others has stated that for long the cancellation didn't took place and about the unresponsiveness of Samsung support system. Hence, I further kept following up their support for the delivery, I am informed by Samsung estore support team today that they have dispatched the order, further they have mentioned a Blue Dart waybill number which I checked with Blue Dart and discovered that the waybill number is incorrect. I have got no reply from their support after escalating about this fraudent information to them. Every-time I write them with a request, they will send a response seeking 24-48 hrs time and finally reverts with an irrelevant response where any further questions will put you in a loop of another 24-48 hrs time. The samsung estore support speaks utter lie and they have no idea about dealing with customer expectations in 21st century. It seems they have an impression that they are simply obliging the customer by providing incorrect and misleading information. shop.samsung.com is probably the first eportal where I have face so much of inconvenience, from my bitter experience, I would personally advise all to avoid any procurements from this site and not to get carried away by their lucrative deals. I have not lost complete faith on Samsung India support services and hence dropped my plea in the complaint board stating all inconvenience cause by support.[protected]@samsung.com

          My complaint no. [protected] Since i purchased samsung galxy s3 neo on 29th MARCH 15 there is restarting problem. we tried so many times thru. your customer care representative thru. smart tutor but all effort go in vain. Than we contacted your service center at ghatkopar east but there also they just give back after so called repaired saying now mobll is ok but some problem persist. Now today on 22nd june they told we have to replaced complete circuit of NEW mobil? why?what the use of new mobil instead we can go for second hand mobil. Now we i tired of repeatedly going to service center and waiting for hours there when my father is in hospital and serious. so please reply urgently or else i have to go forward in my complaint. PLZ SOLVE OUR PROBLEM OR NOW NO TO SAMSUNG MOBILE IN FUTURE. WAITING FOR EARLY REPLY HITESH [protected]

            Manager Samsung India Electronics Ltd. Date- 21st May 2015 Dear Sir Sub- Replacement of phone (Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge) It is with extreme pain and disgust I write this email to you. I have purchased Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge on 30th May2015 (IMEI No. 359670/06/340846/9*). It is not working properly, it heats too much, battery drains on standby mode within 3 hours, it also shows dock connected issues without connecting it, its not getting charged. I took it to Samsung service centre (Ashok Vihar Ph-II). They informed me that whole charger point needs to be replaced. I refused them to repair. If it needs changing only in 15 days then what is the use of spending 58000 rupees. I don't want a repaired phone. Kindly arrange to replace my phone as soon as possible.               Sir, I bought a Samsung Grand Prime on 24th October at Poorvika mobiles vide bill no 16499 IMEI Number being [protected]. The handset is still under warranty. last week after talking to me my wife noticed that the display went off. WE DIDNT DROP THE MOBILE DOWN. when she went to the service center she was told that the system has physical damage and that cant be covered under warranty and she has to pay 4000 Rs. why should I be penalized for a mistake which i didn't do? your service people were also not prepared to listen to us and kept on repeating like a parrot that it cant be covered. is this how a leading brand will behave just because we cant do anything?                 Hi : I bought a Samsung Galaxy E -5 smart phone on 1/5/2015 and after 3 weeks o[censored]se there was issues with phone. The Speaker was dead, Battery drain out, Excessive heating, Volume issue, Touch issue. I requested for the replacement of the phone due to multiple problems in the New handset.                   Respected Sir, SUB: Failure of Samsung LED TV layout- Rectification –Reg. REF:(1). Invoice No.VP/CR14/622, dated 04.0502014. (2). Complaint No. [protected] (3). Registration No.[protected], dated 17.06.15. -oOo- Apropos to the above, it is to bring to your kind notice that, I have purchased Samsung LED TV model 40F5000 for an amount `52, 900/- (Rupees Fifty Thousands and Nine Hundred only), vide invoice at reference(1) at M/s Bajaj Electronics, Hayathnagar, Hyderabad on 04.05.2014. The TV was worked fine for the last one year and all of a sudden the TV has display problem at the bottom side and the picture is not visible on 17.06.15. Then I have contacted your Customer care center, Hyderabad and a Service Engineer was deputed on 17.06.15 to attend on the problem. He inspected the TV and informed that the layout of the TV has damaged and has to be replaced and cost has to borne by the customer himself stating that the warranty period was expired. On enquiry about the cost of the unit, he stated that approximate cost of the LED Layout will be around `20, 000/. In this regard, it is to bring to your notice that, my TV warranty period is just completed by 03.05.2015, i.e. hardly a month back and I am not in position to bear such huge amount, as I am a small employee and the warranty period was also completed a couple of days back. Therefore, it is requested to look in to the matter sympathetically and arrange to replace the damaged layout at the earliest keeping in view of cordial business relations and a huge band of customers of Samsung Electronics, for which I will be thankful to Sir. SNo. 23473ZND502493N Dear Sir/Madam As per your Engineer, due to technical fault our LED TV penal was changed two time on first time in October 2014, 2nd time in May 5th 2015 and again, we are facing same problem. We have put up the complain on dated June 5th, many time communicated to your Service Center Raipur, Area Manager raipur, Service Engineer &Costumer Care but we have not received satisfactory response till date. Therefore you are humbly requested to please replace our product since this under warranty period and we are relay not satisfied with it. Do the needful from your end as earliest .

                        un50hu6950fxza i have purchased from USA dated may 2015. I have taken this to India. I have adapter for 110 - 220v. we watch TV for 1 week and all sudden we see blank balck screen.Currently TV is not connected to any device. Menu functionality is not displaying. When contacted Samsung hyd service center, technician inform us of "CORN" boarrd damage and not pretty sure. Please educate us whom to contact to resolve this issue thanks: Asish [protected]

                            Hi, My name is Sarvesh Srivastava I am samsung galaxy S4 user which is supposed to be a best smartphone of 2014 but within a year o[censored]se there are many issues in the phone which have made this expensive handset useless. The motherboard of this phone has been changed a month back but there is no improvement in the phone, The phone is severely heating in case using internet the battery drains completely within 3-4 hours o[censored]se. There is absolutely no solution provided by service center & online technical team even used of common applications whatsapp, facebook, music is not possible because these applications are closing abruptly.                                 Sir, I have purchased one of samsungs best phone ie the note 4. Its been 3 months only. This phone and the service centers are giving me the worst time i can have with a smart phone. From last 1 month i have been constantly giving complaints to customers service centers either by visiting them or contacting them by phone. Here is the list of problems since day 1 i have been visiting to the service center. ( i dont remember the correct dates but i am sure you can get the details from your servers by entering my ph. No. Ie [protected]) I went to the service center (Tagore Garden New Delhi) regarding the camera of my phone. The problem was that there were different colours showing up on my phone and sometimes an error came " Media server failed). 1st day:- they only reinstalled the software. Which was unsuccessful to fix the problem. Then they told me that it was a hardware issue and the camera needs to be replaced. And the part was unavailable at that time so they told me to come after 3 to 4 days. 2nd day:- now i am back to the service center to get my camera replaced. It took 2 hrs to get that done. And the minute i held that phone it blacked out. They took it back and after an hour they said the board is also needed to be replaced. Then they told me come back the next day. 3rd day:- They gave my phone back to me after 2 hours of waiting. And it was looking ok this time. And i was happy. But my happiness did not last very long. After two hours of continuously using my phone, the speaker stopped. I went back to service the same day and waited for 2 hrs to get that fixed. Now when i got my phone back it was a bit laggy and the camera was blur. They told me to go home now try reset the phone for drivers to reinstall. So i came back home. Now i am trying to reset my phone but it didnot work some recovery mode came with a few option. And i left the phone that way. 4th day:- i went to the service center again told them the problem. And now after a 4 hrs of waiting it was fixed. I came back home and put the phone to charging and then i realise that the fast charger isnt connecting. I went back to the service center and they change the fast charger aswell. This i also argued to get my phone replaced but they only insulted me that i have no brains, u dont know how to use the phone, u need to go to the mental hospital to get my head checked. Anyway i would have forgotten about the things they told me if my phone was fixed. Now ofcourse i had not enough courage to go and visit them again so i started contacting the helpline no. Then i always get a call back from a senior representative after 2 days i called them. ( Now my phone is a bit laggy screen is getting loose from the edges and the camera gets blurred after 20 to 30 mins o[censored]se. ) 1st call to customer complaint no. :- i explained them every thing. Their reply was to wait for another 15 days and see if the problem is fixed. So i waited for for 10 days and i called them again. And my problems had only worsen. 2nd call:- they told me that they will send me a engineer at home and they told me that i wont have to visit the service center anymore. Then the engineer came today dated 18 of june. He took the phone with him and a call came after 4 to 5 hr. And they told me my phone is out of warranty. I did not understand at first how that was possible then they explain me that my software has been i dont know exactly but he was saying rooted. I still do not understand what that is exactly but i know that it avoids warranty. And they told me it requires some computer hacking skills to do it. This made me laugh so loud. (so this the samsung way to loot the customers) I dont even know how to use a computer properly. I only know how to use word and some basic programs. He told me to go visit the tagore garden service center. All over Again And its today i am posting my complaints online, hopefully i will get some help. Else that i have no idea what to do with this phone or who to complaint. I am totally clueless, Distressed and hating this phone and the company a lot. I really cant explain you my mental conditions right now. But i[censored] can get a clue this phone was my 6 moths of hard work at call center.                                   To The Branch Manager Samsung India Ltd. Sir, my UA32F5100AR purchase date 23.04.2014 within 6 month panel is not working after complaining req no-[protected] on month sept 2014 its take near about 1 month to replace by service centre. after nov 2014 replacing tv panel 29th april 2015 I faced same problemm.My comp no[protected] and [protected] but I dont get any satisfactory ans by customer care or service centre authority. They ignore my problem saying that its out of warranty. Within 1 year how is it possible same panel problem in a single product? In future how we trust about your product?

                                    I purchased a Samsung G 530 mobile on 29.12.2014.From the morning of 12th of June 2015 the mobile in not being on and I took it to Samsung Service Centre at Burdwan, West Bengal. After examining the set the Service Centre said that it is a case of mother board short and they received the after distinct observation of the set and they became sure that that the fault was not on my behalf. They could not replace the mother board till the date due to non availability of the mother board. Under the the circumstances, please arrange for the replacement of mother board immediately or refund the price paid for the mobile.

                                        Manager Samsung India Electronics Ltd. Date- 18th May 2015 Dear Sir Sub- Replacement of phone (Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge) It is with extreme pain and disgust I write this email to you. I have purchased Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge on 30th May2015 (IMEI No. 359670/06/340846/9*). It is not working properly, it heats too much, battery drains on standby mode within 3 hours, it also shows dock connected issues without connecting it, its not getting charged. I took it to Samsung service centre (Ashok Vihar Ph-II). They informed me that whole charger point needs to be replaced. I refused them to repair. If it needs changing only in 15 days then what is the use of spending 58000 rupees. I don't want a repaired phone. Kindly arrange to replace my phone as soon as possible.
