I had Purchased this Ac in March 2010 , on installation of this AC , the installers found out that the unit was faulty which was replaced ,
after which all our troubles have begun ,
problems in AC ,
1) Water dripping
2) Noise in the unit
3) No Cooling ,
we had to call the samsung service for the repairs , and the engineer came within 24 hours only to inform that there was a service charge for his visit , we paid the same . and he said the gas is leaked it has to be put once again and left
the very next day another agency called claiming from Samsung for a visit upon his he once again demanded his visit charge ,
the same way we had 3 more people call and visit our place but there was no solution , to the problem
till I lost my cool and put in a complain at the samsung service and informing that this is what his "agency " was up to
the got the problem resolved by filling the gas back
fast forward march 2012 ( with a lot of problems in between )
we faced the problem of the a/c once again -
1) water leaking ,
2) noise
3) no cooling ,
I once again called up the samsung service center and once again promptly the engineer comes for a visit 24 hours ,
this time from "Fridge cool services "
once again we had to pay his visit charges , and his identification for the problem was the condenser had to be replaced ,
and claiming that the company puts an all aluminum condenser and cannot be repaired " but he will get a copper condenser from the company " which will cost total of 7150/- ( condenser + gas + transport )
having no choice I agreed ,
after 10 days of continuous follow up finally the AC arrived ,
on starting the AC there was another noise that could be heard every time there was cut off
on questioning the engineer " it was nothing " I gave him only 70% of the payment and told him will give it a test and pay the balance in a week
Ofcourse within a week , the ac was not cooling , the noise had got much worse ,
upon calling the Fridge cool person - he had no explanation for the same , but demanded his balance money till he can get the same rectified ,
upon calling samsung service center and registering a complain , once again the whole process starts another authorized engineer comes demanding his fees , to check the unit and follow 2 more agencies ,
this time around all 3 engineers have a different result
agency 1 - sir your gas has leaked
agency 2 - sir your sensor is not working
agency 3 - sir your compressor is spoilt and has to be replaced !( this is under warranty but will be replaced for free but you will have to pay service charge for replacement )
this was weeks old story ( currently we are in June end ) and there is still no solution to the problem
current situation is that a complain has been registered with samsung but there is no one to take care of the problem and the ac is still not working since no one has yet figured out what more excuse do they come up with to get more money out o[censored]s
IS there going to be a solution or I should just let the ac at my place not working or just live with the fact that samsung has duped us in selling faulty units combined with the cartel of authorized agencies that they have tied up with ?

Samsung Airconditioner 1.5 ton — low category of condenser
I had purchased two air conditioners of 1.5 ton model number 18zkc from Great Eastern company (Tollygunj) on 31.1.2010.At the time of installation the fan of the A.C. was not functioning.At that particular moment a complaint was lodged which was rectified after three days.After few months the same A..C. was not cooling .Then again another complain was lodged (BP NO [protected] dt 24.06.10).The AC was taken to the service centre and feed back given to me by the company as that of condensor leakage and was rectified and again re -installed after twelve days.The second AC which I have purchased with same model no and same showroom started with the same problem as less cooling and the display board was not functioning. Again a complaint was lodged on 19.08.10. with BP NO [protected]
The brand name of Samsung is famous as it is luring thousands of customers where the after sales service is very poor as I am facing a serious problem with my two AC.When both my AC were in service centre I had a telephonic conversation with Mr Ojha who is supposed to be ASM of Samsung AC.I requested him to change the allumunium condensor to copper condensor as I have learnt from the market as Samsung has experimented with the above condensor in these lots. My experience with the above mentioned ASM was extremely bitter that I have committed a big mistake by purchasing Samsung AC.
