Hi,

I purchased Samsung GT 9100G (S2) in march checking the configuration of 1GB RAM with gingerbread as OS. I upgraded my phone to latest ICS release by Samsung and found that now my available RAM has been reduced from 834MB to mere 687MB.

Later I found that new releases of S2 with official ICS still has above 800MB of RAM.

I checked with Samsung service center and without understand the issue they simply restored my phone to factory settings and re-installed the OS and advised that it would work like this only. Not happy with this I contacted Samsung customer service and talked to someone who tried to understand my issues and escalated to someone (I think his name was Neeraj) who advised that we have offered you with ICS and now if it is working like this it would be the same.

I have tried check all the Samsung news and press releases and they have nowhere mentioned that the available RAM would be decreased with this official update to ICS which is wrong. Samsung is not providing what people are paying for.

Can someone help with this handset replacement as Samsung has denied it straight away.

This issue exist with all the Galaxy devuces.. Wher the Note and SII I9100 looses 200mb RAM. SII I9100 G looses close to 400mb. If its a technical requirement, samsung should have informed the device owners before the updates.

Need a solution or a fix or an additional update which would restore the eaten up RAM.

    I had purchased as Samsung Fully Automatic Washing Machine which got some problem with the body part. I have logged a complaint regarding this on 14 July'12 with the reference number [protected] which was attended by an engineer who noted down the exact Model Number and other details and committed to return back with the new Body part and will replace against some cost. After that date i have called up the customer care 4 times (on 19Jul, 21Jul, 28 Jul.) but got only the assurance that some body will call me and will visit me to resolve the issue. But to my surprise, the commitment from all the representatives of such a big brand product company got failed every time. In this tenure there was no alternate or standby machine was provided to me and i have to get my clothes washed from outside. You tell me who will compensate my expenses which i am paying to the outside people for washing my clothes.

    Now, when i called again to your customer care today after almost 18 days of my first complaint, i again got the reply that somebody will call me and will get back to me with the resolution. On my insist to provide me a resolution then and there they replied me that the body part of the machine is not available in the company and bluntly said they cannot to resolve it.

    I am also facing the issue on my Samsung Refrigerator which met some defect every year and i have to spent money on it to get it repaired and now not working since last 1 year which is leading to loose my trust from the Samsung Products completely. I was planning to get the issue of my fridge also after resolution of my washing machine problem but now i think it will be useless to deal with such a irresponsible behavior of your company.

    However, i am failed to understand that if the company is manufacturing a product and is unable to provide the after sales service, none of the company could survive with such a pathetic service level.

    I used to be a brand builder among my known for Samsung. I always choose Samsung as a preferred product in all streams. But after such a bad experience I will never buy a Samsung Product and will never recommend the product to anybody.

    I am writing this to you expecting a proper resolution to my problem and hope my brand loyalty would remain with Samsung only after your resolution.

      This is a complaint on behalf of Dr. P.K. Tandon (consumer) by his son-in-law Mr. Shubha Brota Raha
      1. Split air Conditioner Model: AS18EFAXTL, Bio Sleep, was purchased by my Father-in-law Dr. P. K Tandon on 9th August 2009 from Samsung Plaza, 46A/1 Elgin Road, Civil Lines, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India for INR 25727/- (Total Bill Amt: INR 31500 including taxes and stabilizer)
      2. In the summers of 2010 the AC stopped working. Authorised service centre – Care and Care Services Pvt. Ltd was called for repair. Free servicing done. Problem identified as ‘Gas Leakage’.
      3. On 22nd April 2011, the AC again stopped functioning. Care and Care was contacted for repair. Problem identified as ‘Gas Leakage’ again. Dr. P.K.Tandon was charged INR 2192/- for repair as free servicing period was over.
      4. 5th May 2011, AC not working again. Services of Care and Care was sought again and they said ‘Kepestaiz’ needs to be replaced and charged INR 650/-
      5. 2nd June 2011, gas leaked again. Care and Care took indoor unit to service centre and gave back on 13th July 2011.
      6. On 22nd August 2011, AC was not functioning again. Complaint lodged BP no. [protected]. Care and Care executives took both the indoor and outdoor unit to service centre and returned in mid-October 2011 and said that the indoor unit has been replaced. Charged Dr. P.K.Tandon a sum of INR 1500/- for replacement of some pipe.
      7. On June 2012, gas leaked once again. Complaint lodged – No. [protected] on 6th July 2012.
      Dr. P.K. Tandon, frustrated enough by now, asked for replacement of the defective unit with a new one or refund of money to which he has been told that only 40% of the original sum paid can be returned.

      Dr. P.K. Tandon seeks refund of entire sum paid or replacement of the defective piece with a new unit from Samsung India for one last time. Exactly 3 days from this complaint, he has decided to take the matter to consumer court of India. Please treat this e-mail as a prior notice to Samsung India.

        i went to samsung service centre and submitted the mobile model no. GT-S8500, for problem in outgoing voice and key. they said sir while opening the hanset the LCD may break and if you are ready to take the risk only then we will tell you the estimate.
        I asked for the LCD price they mentioned Rs.4037. that means before checking the problem they are asking for cost for change of LCD then they will tell the final estimate to repair the problem.
        I took my hanset back form there and mentioned the whole thing on samsung website email, I received call from them they said to me to visit again and give the handset to service centre but this time I went to bigger service centre of samsung and to my surprise they say that mice in the handset is integral part of motherboard and only mice cannot be changed the new motherboard is to be replaced only then outgoing voice problem will be solved and also they said LCD is also required to be changed becuase otherwise the problem will not be solved completely that means small thing cannot be changed independently the complete cost of motherboard is required so that mice works and on top of it another expense of LCD screen is required because old LCD will not work with New motherboard. and for mice replacement toal expense is Rs. 10500/-.
        I want my handset to work fine but this harassment is pathetic.

            I have bought your product mobile (SAMSUNG HERO E2232 ICE ) on 7TH APRIL 2012 at NEHRU PLACE,NEW DELHI shop aND MY mobile not work & i went samsung service centre,cc28,Nehru enclave,kalkaji,ND-19, my service request no.[protected] dated-23.07.2012, but not response from service center ,no call me from service center , i call service center after 8days ,but service center not repair / replace my mobile ,samsung service center not support customer, service center told me your mobile not repair & replace so i hope samsung electronic help me
            dear sir, i complained you for samsung hero 2232 dated 01.8.12 after the complain samsung service center call me your mobile not warranty you pay 1936 rupees for repairing, but i purchasing date of this mobile dated-07/04/2012 i purchasing price 2150 rupees with vat including. but internet show 1934 rupee so i am why repairing mobile .but service center mad costumer why repairing charges given you when my mobile in warranty period service center why taking me service charge.my service request no.[protected] dated-23.07.2012, why not my mobile repairing . so i hope you my mobile repair or new mobile given me free of cost. i am not paid any amount to service center because my mobile in warranty period.
            i am not agree your service center . i am why paid 50% amount because my mobile is with accessories rs.2150 with vat 12.5% .i purchase this April 2012 .my mobile in warranty period. why you not repair this. samsung electronic not support their costumer because after repairing your service center told not warranty after repair mobile .your one part is very costly. costumer not costly for you. but your thinking is wrong . you & your ser.center doing dally mentally harassment with me . costumer why believe you that after any product purchase samsumg given warranty you i am dislike your behave

              Samsung Galaxy Note Promo Offer

              I am writing this mail after waiting a long time for my Headphone ( Ref. Samsung Galaxy Note Promo Offer). i purchase Samsung Galaxy Note on 16/05/2012 and apply for my Samsung Galaxy Note Promo Offer, but unfortunately i didn't received Headphone ( Ref. Samsung Galaxy Note Promo Offer) on my given address and returned.                 Hi,

                I have purchased Samsung wave 2 GT S8530 on Feb 2011 for RS 17,400/-, after 2-3 months the set had touch screen problem. I gave the set for repair to Moti Nagar service center and they replaced touch screen. The phone was fine for couple of months and had the same issue, this time they took 20-22 days to replace the screed. Agein after few months after this repair my phone wont start. Now as the p[hone was out of warrenty, they replaced PCB and charged 5000 + Rs for this repair. Now the phone has touch screen issue again, need urgent help as I have spend alot and suffered alot due to this.

                Same issue with me . Got it replaced once when it was under warranty . Again after few months, its giving issues and its now under warranty now . I suppose there is some something in the cell which is causing this touch issue every time . Service center people asking for 4800 rs to change the touch screen . :(

                    After 2 DOA phn has problem:auto switch off n downloading.
                    Price difference when i brought phn n i get it is around 1500/-rs between that period i hve been with phn only for 2days. Rest of the days in custody of service center.
                    Kindly reslove my problem n help me to get rid of feeling being cheatd.

                    Samsung w299 has not GPRS which is the biggest draw back pf the phone company should shame on them to launch a caustly phone without GPRS i will suggest all the INDIAN if they are realy an indian dont buy any SAMSUNG mobile i[censored] buy any samsung mobile u ll face lots of problem and feel like cheated
                    two month earlier iam purchase your mobile phone E2120 this set have give lot of problem for me that is software problem to be arrised i give your service center 4 times to repair phone but it contineously the software will be loss also now iam mentally abset for you e2120
                    Its natural bt logical in term that period i have not been using the phn how i could pay for. Second thing i have been a regular customer of samsung for my yrs with aleast 10 set n currently i m using 4 set of samsung including galaxy y. Only this set i have been suffered a lot with sentmental as well as financial n more than lots having a good faith towards samsung.
                    So kindly help me to get rid of it

                        I had purchased a Samsung galaxy y S5360 on 11.07.2012 from the Mobile Store, I C Colony, Borivali. The complaint reference number is [protected]. There is now a red line on the display screen. The Mobile Store rep told that there is a problem with the display and asked me to go the Samsung service centre at borivali. The phone was never dropped or misused nor did it come in contact with water. I am surprised at how the display can be faulty within a month of purchase. I don’t know what to really expect from the service centre also. What if they change other parts of the mobile which have no fault and replace it with sub-standard parts without my knowledge? I won’t even know. I wanted to purchase another Samsung mobile but my faith in the product is now wavering. I really wish they could give me a new piece instead of the one bought now, but I don’t think they will do that. Kindly redress this problem.

BUT I KNOW THAT THERE IS A LOT OF PROBLEM IN THE PHONE SO THE SERVICE EXPENCE IS MORE SO THEY TOLD ME LIKE THAT.                                   I bought samsung A/C from chellamani &co , tambaram. I bought on 18 th August and installed on 19th. From the day of installation the AC Didnot cool properly and whenever we make a complaint they come and see and will say there is a leak in the gas . They come and refill the gas and go off. This was done 4 times in 10 months. Now my guarantee period is getting over and I said I need a replacement of AC as if this complaint persist means I have to give 3000 rupees every time to fill the gas.
                                  Yesterday from the service centre they gave a form for replacement and ask for a photo and pan card details. Today they are saying we will repair the machine and cannot replace. I need a concrete suggestion for this.

                                      dear friends i purchased samsungs double door refrigerator on[protected]. from the very first day samsung people have given so much mental harassment to me , as their fridge was giving current and its cooling was not upto the mark and their was manufacturing defect in their freezer part. they dont want to accept it for this thing their product specialist made visit our house around 6 times and in their report they properly mention that their is a manufacturing defect in their product. because of which my mother met with an electric shock for which i ask compensation. which samsung people denied. then they samsung people said we will give the replacement with the same new fridge , which they made after one month , while giving the delivery of that product we and the samsung people found the same defect in their new piece of same model. so i am totally fed up with the samsung. i request consumer court and i appeal to the media people to please bring this issue to the govt and to the court and ask the question to the company people is this their worst service which they are delivering in the india. their refrigerator are all faulty pieces and these people are playing with the life of peoples . they are simply harassing us. i appeal to the govt and to the court please take appropriate action against the company and against their manufacturing unit. For the people of india i would like to say please dont buy any product of samsung . they are giving faulty products.
