Please note that i have purchased a samsung i9000(Galaxy S) mobile on 28/11/2010 from univercell chennai. The next day the phone fails to boot after a software update automatically popup by samsung kies. From then on the device is with the service people who are unable to correct it. Every time i go to their place i am asked to return in 3 days to find the phone lying in some place with no improvement. It is clear from their attitude that its not going to get corrected in the near future. As u may be aware mobile phone has become a critical part of life and its very fustrating to spend 30,000 rupess and submit the phone to samsung for their research, training and development. The phone has been marked has scratched (which is actually done by samsung service people by their great handling and refusal to take the pouch given by me). Why is samsung unable to replace my phone. What is the purpose of samsung service? . I am pretty much sure that by the time i get back my phone, the price will have reduced a few thousands. Will samsung pay that loss? Also the service person has informed me that he will do some research on the phone and if he is unable to correct it only then he will offer an replacement. Why is this. He has already taken 10 days for research. When will he offer me the phone. And it will take 15 working days for getting a replacement. Based on my finding it is 3 days in the US. Why 15 days for India ? Finally i have to wait 45 days (20 research + 15 replacement wait) and 500 rupees on travel and phone calls to service center and pain of spending 30000 on a samsung phones and being insulted by samsung representatives. Why 15 days, when samsung can supply phones for new buyers in chennai , why don't have one for replacement ? Kindly refund the amount, it has caused me great pain and i think i will never use any samsung products ever. I have all the bills and service receipts. Please visit samsung service center named Hi-tech Solutions, old No M9B, New No.83 Anna nagar East, Chennai -102. Ph[protected],[protected]. You can easily understand the processesless functioning. There are more crowd in samsung service centers than in mobile stores. And the numbers given are never answered and if they pick up we have to wait 5 minutes(generating income for service providers) for no reason !.

Following all these insults i called the customercare number given in the samsung website and told all these, the woman on the line gave me a complaint number [protected] and infromed me that i would be contacted in 2 hours by the mobile team. While i am typing this mail i was called by the samsung mobile customercare. I repeated the entire story and he finally gave me this number[protected] and told they will be able to help me. Thats the final slap on a samsung customer, because there is nobody to answer that number from samsung side, it keeps on ringing.

Based on these fact. Please refund me the amount of 28,500 and u can keep doing your reasearch on my phone.

Samsung — Samsung - AN IRRESPONSIBLE SERVICE PROVIDER

Hi All,
I bought a Samsung mobile phone(M200). There was an issue with the phone, hence I went to the service centre at Thane and submitted the instrument for repair.
I submitted the phone on 26-Sep-09. I was told that the repair should be done in a week’s time. For almost a month I did not receive any communication from the service centre.
When I called up to find the status, none of the managers had any idea about the status and I didn’t get a satisfactory response.
Only after repetitive calls made and visiting the centre again, I came to know that the instrument cannot be replaced/repaired hence I will get my money back.
It’s been almost 3 months now, however nothing concrete has been communicated to me till date.
I have made calls to the area Sales manager, Mr. Prashant. Earlier he ensured me on 15 nov. that I should get me cheque within max. 15 days. Today, its 11th of December, however nobody is bothered to stick to the commitments made.
IT IS REALLY UNFORTUNATE THAT A BRAND LIKE SAMSUNG IS ACTING SO IRRESPONSIBLE . I have raised several online queries as well, but no response. I expect some sort of courtesy from the service provider to at least provide me with an answer and assure me of the repayment and stick to the commitments made.
I Believe it is only for the convenience of customers that such service centres are set up. But if this is how the system functions at Samsung, I really regret buying a Samsung Product.

I appreciate if someone can look into this matter and provide me with an explanation.

    I bought this Samsung Mobilephone E2120i on 11 July 2010 and just
    within 4 months it started developing problems. The display was
    distorted, the spellings of words like automatic would be 'aesotamic',
    the spelling of words like message sent would be 'massage sant'. The
    phone would not allow me to use the manual network settings, the
    inbuilt games would not play, the Music would not play, etc. I decided
    to have the cell phone checked at the Samsung Service Center under the
    name 'Master Care Services'. I was told that the mobile software
    needed to be reloaded and every thing would be fine. The attendant was
    hardly listening to my complain and did not even mention anything
    about the above description provided. However, the very next day I
    received a call from the center stating that the software has been
    downloaded and the I could come and collect the handset. I went there
    to collect the handset but nothing had changed except all the details
    saved on the cell phone had been deleted which I was aware of.

    I again requested to make specific mention of the complain and this
    time I was told that the mother board needed to be replaced (18
    November 2010). I was told that it would take atleast 25 days as the
    required parts were not available due to the short supply. I protested
    and asked if I could be provided an extended warranty as the phone
    would be with the company for almost 1 month. I was really shocked to
    hear when I was told that the company is not responsible for an
    extended warranty and that its the company policy and nothing can be
    done about it. I requested them to provide to me a stand by handset
    for use as I did not have any alternative handset again for which I
    was denied. I was told that company does not provide all these things
    for minor complains.

    The mother board needs to be replaced which is short in supply, it
    would take minimum 25 days for the replacement to happen and there is
    no limit to maximum time taken for replacement with no extended
    warranty being supplied by the company for the number of days they
    have the phone in their custody. These complains are considered as
    minor complains. My question to the CEO of the company is: What type
    of complains are considered to be major complains???? Dont you
    consider your consumer as your God who is helping you run a business?
    Have you taken customers for granted?

    If this is the kind of injustice being meted out to your consumers,
    then I would not hesitate in letting the Indian Consumers know that
    Samsung as a company is a cheat and would definitely make sure that
    this case is being heard at the highest priority even if need to sell
    my home for it.

    Atleast as a consumer I will be satisfied that I have dragged a
    company to court which doesnot think about its consumers.

    If you have a heart and think that your consumers are important for
    the company to run this business, I would like to see a response from
    the company within 48 hours, failing to which this complain will be
    making news all over the country. The company will definitely be
    famous for all the problems you have created for me as a consumer.

      This is to inform the concerned person that i have purchase a Samsung LCD from your authorised dealer at shimla in the name & style M/s Sanjeev Kumar & Co. The MALL Shimla on 4th Nov. 2010. The authorised dealer has assured me that the demonstration anf fixation of the LCD will be done by the company officials within 3 or 4 days after the purchase But till date no concerned person has visited my place and my LCD is sill lying uninstalled. I personnally visited the concerned dealer more than 5 times and he personally called the company officials in my presence many times but inspite of the assurance of the company officials to the dealer also they never turned up to my place . I have also rang to your Chandigarh office but your concerned person who picked up the phone at Chandigarh did nport give any positive responce to me. At last i have no option but to made this complaint to you. If after this compalin no person came to install the LCD at my place within 3 days of this mail i will file a consumer complaint regarding the deficiency in service on your part. Please not. I have suffered a mental & physical torture by buying your prodect. After that i will suggest to my relatives & friends not to take the samsung prroduct ever.

      This TV is so user friendly, even a kid can install it. Just open up the packet, fix the stand, connect the power cord and antenna. And it does all program search automatically.

        I bought a Samsung GT-B7722 mobile (Star Duos) on[protected]. The IMEI no is [protected]. On 07.10.2010, while putting it ON, the loading line would proceed till the half way mark and the mobile would just turn off from that point. I tried a number of times, but the phone would not start.
        I deposited my mobile with M/s TELELINK, C-38, City Centre, Bokaro Steel City (Jharkhand) {Authorised Samsung Service Centre) on 08.12.2010 at 10:30 am. The work order no is WA[protected]. They sais that it is a software problem and that the software would have to be re-loaded. This meant that everything in the phone memory would be lost, including the phonebook. As I didn't have any choice, I deposited the same. They asked me to collect it at 4pm the same day. When I went there at 4pm, they said that the motherboard has become faulty and it would have to be replaced. They also informed that the motherboard is not available with them nor at Ranchi (the capital city of Jharkhand). It would have to be sourced from Delhi and would take one week. Today (10.12.2010) I again enquired about my mobile. They said that the motherboard is not available anywhere and it may take upto one month for the spare to arrive. I am in a fix and feel totally cheated and deceived by the poor quality of Samsung phones and such poor service. As my work was suffering I didnt have any choice but to buy another phone, while I wait endlessly to get back my GT-B7722.

          1. Our washing machine was taken by the service personnel on 22.11.10 and said that the machine would be repaired in two days and returned.

          Till now no body has reverted back to us and when ever we call the call center they are totally unaware of the situation and asks us to call us the workshop.

          There is some problem with the service center phone as they cannot hear any thing from our end. We have tried calling from different phone numbers the problem still persist.

          Till this date we are clueless about our machine , when they are going to repair and return the same to us. Every time we call up they promises to return the call , but the calls are never returned.

          Kindly look into the ,matter.

            I own a Touch screen mobile phone Samsung Corby Plus B3410 the details of which I have given below:

            I purchased this phone on the 19th April 2010 and hence the phone is still under warranty period.

            Just before some days I experienced problem in Incoming Voice during a phone call (Speaker through which we talk on phone calls is not working at all) and hence decided to give it for service at the service center.
            I reside in Pune. The below given is the sequence of the activities which I underwent to get 'Satisfactory Service' for my mobile phone:

            1. Went to Shree Communication (Samsung suthorised service center, Aundh Road, Pune) on the 28th November 2010 and submitted the phone citing the above problem. Shree communication promised to repair it in 2 days. Gave a copy citing Work Order no : 2455.
            2. Went to collect my mobile phone on the 1st December 2010. Checked my mobile phone. The problem was not solved. Again gave the phone back to Shree Communication on the same day and they promised to solve the problem within a day or two.
            3. Got a call from Shree Communication directly on 3rd December 2010 that the problem has been solved and said that they will check the phone for a day or two and give it back to me. For this they promised to call me again for when can I collect my phone.
            4. On the 6th and 7th December tried to call Shree Communication but no single person picked up the call.
            5. On 7th December 2010 Eve I personally went to Shree Communication for checking the status of my phone. Reached there and asked about my phone. As said by them it was okayed. When I checked my phone the problem was still not solved. I was told that they(Shree Communication) sent my mobile phone to the company and the phone was thoroughly checked. Got a very harsh response from the people of Shree communication. Got frustrated by them and took the phone as it is and decided to give to other service center.
            6. On the 8th December 2010 got address of another service center by calling Samsung Customer Care and Went on the same day to Samsung Mobile Services, Shop No:5, 1st Floor, The Millennium,Nal stop, Karve road, Pune - 411004.
            7. Citied the above problem in my phone and about the 'process' which I underwent as above before arriving to Samsung Mobile Services, Karve road, Pune. They checked the status of my complaint, online and hence the"Work order/Call" was still kept "ON" by Shree Communications, Aundh Road, Pune.
            8. Mr. Sandip Shinde at Samung Mobile Services, Karve road, Pune, told me that they cant carry on the further repair work as my previous " work order/call" is still "on". They need to take authority from the Samsung Company to carry on the work.
            9. As directed by Mr. Sandip Shinde I gave my mobile phone to Samsung Mobile Services, Karve road, Pune and promised me that the moment he gets the authority he will carry on the further work. Hence my new Work Order no : 2134.

            Hence for this reason I request you to authorize Samsung Mobile Services to carry on the further process. I also request you to take my complaint seriously and give me a proper complaint no.
            If the problem is still pertaining then I request you to please Replace my mobile phone. As its already more than 12 days that I am without my mobile phone. I may further take strict action for the same.

            My previous complaints and reference nos. with Samsung regarding the same:

            BP No: [protected]. Through customer care.
            No further actions have been taken on the same.

              I had bought a 3D LED TV and a Blue Ray 3D DVD Player from Ms. Snehanjali Electronics, Kandivli (W), S. V. Road, Mumbai in the month of November 2010. I was promised a 3D extra set of goggles and two 3D DVD Videos with it. I was made to visit the showroom for atleast 5 to 6 times to get my accessories. But till date it is not given to me. The two salesmen Aftab and Manish always give the excuse that the Company has not sent the same and hence they are not suppling it to me. I contacted Samsung Electronics for installation of the TV and their service engineer tells me that they have issued the accessories alongwith the TV set and DVD player long back.

              Even the delivery of the TV set after making full payment was done after 15 days and after several reminders and visits.

              I am harrassed and feel cheated of my dues for which I have paid a substantial amount. Kindly help

              yes.. i think samsung donot have enough stocks of 3D LED sets in india..
              they are making their dealers to promise heavily and not supplying the promised accessories and even TV on time.
              Nilesh .. how much you had spent for both tv and 3d dvd player?

                I purchased Samsung Corby Pro B5310 on 8/4/2010 and from that date i am continuosly facing problems at regular intervals. I have shown my Mobile a no. of times to Mobile Store Jabalpur as well as service centre Alfa Enterprises,Jabalpur regarding the problems,everytime Service centre assured that this problem won't be repeated again. But everytime the mobile handset started functioning improperly. During the 1st problem instance also, i had informed that there is manufucturing defect, hence the company must return me back the cost of Handset, but everytime the service centre repaired the handset at their level and assured of proper functioning thereafter.Further if we give anything in writing ,Service centre didn't acknowledge the receipt.They simply direct us that I should write to Company directly.I have sent the complaint letter to the company's regd. office at Nehru Palace New Delhi also , but sorry to intimate that we have received back the letter with the remark that no office of SAMSUNG Co. is there on the address as on website.It means company has willingly not uploaded the correct address.
                Sir, kindly interfere in the matter and provide justice by arranging the replacement of Handset OR arrange Refund of Bill amount i.e. Rs. 11,209/-

                  This is in concern with the Galaxy 3 that I recently bought, I am facing huge

                  [protected] Battery problem my phone 's battery goes down within few hours of charging, which is not even close to what samsung has promised of 15 hrs talk time etc.

                  [protected] Secondly the GPS is not working at all
                  [protected] Message memory gets over in about 100 smses
                  [protected] the sound of video is too poor even if it is an original good quality video (ear piece)

                    I have bought a Samsung Refrigerator model RT45LMC (400 ltr ) frost free in Feb 2010.

                    After 8 months the freezer has stopped working and when I lodged the complaint the technician came and he cleared the frost/ice with the help of Hot air blower and hot water etc. and said the same is repaired.

                    Again after one month (last week of Nov 2010) same problem occurred. The complaint was registered on 1st Dec. and after continuous reminders daily 20 times, technician came on 7th Dec. and opened up the freeze meshed up and wanted to take same to workshop for experiment.

                    I feel there is some inherent technical problem with the product. I have requested them to replace the freeze.

                    Nothing has happened. Still awaiting for response or repair from SAMSUNG.

                      I was looking forward to receive a replacement of a new unit RT – 35 CDUX as against the defective one supplied to me vide your above referred invoice.

                      It is very surprising / astonished that neither supplier nor manufacturer has responded to my complaint letter. Is it fair on your part ?

                      Please be noted that replaced tray with holes on Frunch box is not acceptable to me under any circumstances.

                      Now,I claimed that your refund me rupees 24,000/- (Twenty four thousand only) paid by me vide cheque no. 027592 dated 22/10/2010 drawn on Bank f Baroda and collect defective unit supplied to me.

                      Your early action in this matter will be highly appreciated.

                        I have Purchased two Samsung mobiles E2130 model. Really it is a nice mobile stuffed with lots of features. But, Both the phones got replaced its mother board more than two times within three months from the date of purchase. Still it continues the same. I dont know what to do with this mobile. Now it is in Warranty period after that....?

I was informed that i will get a new hard disk after 10 days by amritsar service center. Contacting after 10 days i was again asked to wait another one weeks due to shortage of stock. now more than one month has passed and i have still not got the new hard disk. Recently on contacting i was abused and harrased and was told to take the hard disk. When it arrived or forget about it . I humbly request u to free me from this harrasment of yours.

                            This is to inform you that my washing machine with the above mentioned details has been taken by 'Exclusive Samsung Service Centre' MONDAL APPLIANCES SERVICE 87/10, Akshoy Kumar Mukherjee Road, Kolkata 700 090. on 29.09.2010. The above mentioned machine was in perfect condition except the water inlet which was partially clogged due to iron content in our water supply. The SC personnel also confirmed the same and said the said machine will be washed properly and be returned within max 7 days.
                            After repeated follow ups the service centre informed us that the circuit board was damaged so it is taking so much time, although we did not have any problem with running the machine even on the day it was taken.
                            Further on 26.10.2010 I have received a call from the afore said "MONDAL APPLIANCES SERVICE " informing us that they are sending their engineer next day to our address to the check the problem of our washing machine, which is actually laying with them from 29.09.2010.
                            This was really shocking to discover that the above mentioned 'Exclusive Samsung Service Centre - MONDAL APPLIANCES SERVICE’ was unable to track the mentioned product in their custody.

                            Further more on 29.10.2010 the above mentioned service centre informed us that the above mentioned product has already been delivered to us on 28.10.2010, which we actually did not receive.
                            Again, this is not needless to mention that under the terms & conditions of the above mentioned service centre, point No. 11 reads as follows – “ Company assumes no responsibility whatsoever if this equipment not collected within 30 days from the date of the submission to ASC vide this work order receipt”. And so the aforesaid service centre did calculatively shouldered off the issue just on the 30th. Day.
                            You are requested to do the needful to recover my product in working condition from the above mentioned service centre and oblige.

B5722) in july 2010, later after 3 mnths suddenly my cell got some problem like getting switched off during call and i tried many time to switch it on but it wont work. I went to mobile shop along with my bill, till toay that cell is with the Samsung Moblie service center (chembur) only and everyday he is givig one or the other reasons to me. it is now almost 30 days i was not given any substatial reson provided to me by the Service center Manger.

                                I am forwarding you all the letters and reminders and their replies trough the e-mails from 15 th Nov,10 with the Samsung Service Centers. Till now, they have failed to supply the battery of my mobile set-SGH C210 which is a samsung product puchased a year before.They are only giving me the false assurance which you will understand from their replies.Besides, I personally telephoned at their service centers situated at Delhi[protected] on 06.12.2010 but they did not solve my problem. They only give the following numbers which are not active now.

                                Again they give me the another number [protected] for their area service Manager situated at Kolkata. The said mobile phone rremains in all time in switch off condition.I failed to contact.

                                In this circumstances, I requested them to note down my mobile no [protected] and tell their service Manager to contact with me but they refused to do so.

                                  Samsung has not been supplying spare parts of my laptop (model No:NX05TPOGBQ/SIL)for the last 4 months or so. Samsung's Complaint cell & service center in Lucknow are not reliable. I have been through a bad experience & am very disappointed from a highly reputed co. like Samsung.
                                  Badly there is no way or e-mail /phone no. for complainting of service center . A highly reputed Smsung Co. has no alternate chainal in his site for anycomplained/grievances or feedback

                                    this is to inform you that i purchased a samsung corby from a store in delhi in feb 2010..after two monthhs o[censored]se it stopped working properly..i went to the customer care of samsung which is in noida....i submitted my fone over there for two and a half months..the authorities over there were casual in their approach and they did'nt managed my problem well..after that i submitted my fone in jhansi customer care but there also the story was same..im without my mobile for the past four months antd it has been a headache for me..kindly pay attention to my complaint....

                                      I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab from Croma Stores, Mulund on 21st November vide invoice no.[protected]. I was promised free gifts which would reach me within 2-3 days from Samsung. So far I have not received ANY free gift. I call Croma helpline on 61406363 and I am promised call backs from the store. When someone calls back, they say they will check with Samsung and call back. No one has called me back at all. Every day I make at least 4-5 calls to Croma help line but all I am told is someone will call you back.

                                      NEVER buy anything from CROMA and especially NEVER buy Samsung Products!

                                      Will Samsung / Croma pay attention to this and call me on [protected] or mail me on [protected]@gmail.com .

                                      Samsung — Non receipt of promised gift

                                      I purchased a colour television from a dealer under the "Khulja simsim" offer. However, it has been more than a month after I purchased and I am yet to receive any scratch card. I followed up with the dealer and I called up Samsung's help line. The dealer always asks me to wait for a day or two and the helpline guys put me on to a loop.
                                      Same happened with me too except i bought this from another retailer...also did i try to bring forth this issue by contacting their customer care and belive me they did'nt bother just kept on transfering my calls from one dept. to another. And now i have instead of the bluetooth and the leather case this [protected] and [protected] two BP No. It really sucks...
                                      I have encountered the same issue. I was promised the Bluetooth headset and cover along with the device. It has been almost 15 days and i havent received it.

                                      The customer support at [protected] really sucks. You call them up and it says " Thank you for calling Samsung Smarthphone helpline' and then another voice says ' Your connection will now be terminated'. Are they shooting like Robocop 2?

                                      What the freaking hell is going on with Samsung. They are selling a product worth 36, 000 and they havent spent 5 paisa on their customer service. Why do they promiose freebies when they cant deliver. I am dissapointed. Should have gone for an iPad. Never buy a Samsung product ever again!!

                                      The customer support when finally reached, say that it was despatched on 21-Dec, when the local bludart gur tells me there was never a package for me. The Samsung guys dont give us a consigntment number so that we may track thier lie. Pathetic company!!!
                                      i also face the same problem. i bought tab on 10/12/2010 it is already 20 days over.but there is no telephone call from them till now. when i called customer care, there is no proper reply. and immediately i received an sms to my mobile saying that your problem is resolved. i do not know what it is meant. Now i am in dilama whether i have to still wait for accessories or buy iin the open market.

                                      The custom-made accessories is a problem, because they aren't available in the market, so I guess prociring it from Samsung warehouse is the best bet. I have been trying to get through samsung galaxy helpline at [protected] but in vain.
                                      I bought a Galaxy tab from Ezone comos mall. Same story. After almost a month I have not received the freebies which was included in the 36k billing which was promised to be in within 7 days.

                                      The EZONE and SAMSUNG service and customer care are useless and not responsive. One contact from SAMSUNG MR Sriram to deal with this issue is un professional, always says i will mail you all the details in 15 minutes and call you back in 5 minutes. This he did it to me for the past one month and for more than 5 times. I am ok if they can explanin why the delay/ issue. But thery are non commited, no explanation and do not care about the customer experience or feeling.
                                      I need think hard to buy anything from EZONE or SAMSUNG. Simple: I would not buy anything of SAMSUNG or EZONE.
                                      I bought my Galaxy tab on 10th December from Flipkart.com. Please dont ever buy anything from them or for that matter from Samsung. They have no idea what customer service means. They are such ungrateful *******. They dont even bother calling me back to update me on the status of the complaint. I feel so cheated and let down that they charged me so much and havent delivered on their promise.
                                      I have purchased 5 galaxy tab from hydrebad and my experience is exactly the samr.i was promided a stereo blutooth headset abd a diary case and havent recd a single one as yet let alone 5 and the toll free customer care is a total waste of time.i got this as soon as the tab was launched in oct and 4 mths and still no response.when i called samsung to know where the diary case wud b availablefor me to purchase as the entire galaxy tab is uaeless without the cover and their response is even more irritating and vague.so anyone planning to buy a tab plssssssss wait until samsung improves its service.
                                      This is nothing to do with croma, we bought a samsung tab from Reliance digital, in ambience mall gurgaon on 21.12.2010, and till date we are figihting with samsung to get the free goods delivered but to no avail, reliance backs out saying it is samsung's comittment and samsung are not responding, what cheats.
