Just after work done by the work shop of skoda! My car tyre got riped! And just after 15-20 km at the speed of 20 kmph! There representative said that it got ripped just because of low air pressure and how the tyre can be low pressure when it just came out from work shop? Did they haven’t check? And said its not a company fault. Please tell me what should i do?

    Pathetic servicing support for repair of my skoda rapid ka 01 mj 4828 chassis no tmbblgna3cg026288
    I was on holiday in madikeri, coorg and on 1st october 2019 when driving onto the highway returning to bangalore the clutch pedal gave way.
    I was shocked as this has never happened and not expected from a vehicle such as the skoda
    I immediately contacted the insurance company royal sundaram who organized roadside assistance very efficiently and the vehicle was towed to sagar autotech pvt ltd mysuru the nearest skoda dealer who i was told could do the repair immediately and i could proceed to bangalore
    I met mr manjunath the service head at sagar autotech on 2nd october 2019 who put me on to the vehicle advisor mr wasim and he did an evaluation of the repairs and recorded that the main cylinder, sleeve cylinder needed to be changed and would be done at the earliest. They checked their inventory and found that they had the main cylinder and had to order the sleeve cylinder.
    I had requested for a spare car to be provided but this was refused
    After a few days i found that nothing was being done and contacted by mail your customer care head and was put onto mr manjunath regional head south. He promised me that the parts would be organized and that my car would be delivered on 7th october 2019.
    When i checked on 7th october 2019 at sagar autotech mysore they informed me that they were now going to order the parts and after receiving the same would require 2-3 days to repair and hand over my vehicle back to me
    It is now 11 days and my vehicle is still not repaired and there is no sign of anybody being serious to order and get the parts so that the vehicle can be handed over to me. There seems to be a very careless attitude in doing any service and i fear with my car lying with sagar autotech pvt ltd mysore whether it is done with some mischievous intent and create a major situation to make money
    I am thoroughly disgusted with the attitude and poor servicing of my vehicle.
    You will also have to reimburse me the amount of rs 14, 000/- spent on hiring vehicles during this period and please ensure this is done and whatever expenses are incurred till the car is delivered
    Please ensure that no other customer has to undergo this unnecessary harassment and please ensure that parts are maintained in the service centres
    I am therefore requesting you to kindly treat the matter as serious and ensure that my vehicle is properly repaired and returned to me in good condition

      Hi,
      I own a skoda rapid 2014 full option car, after purchase, the car went through many service issues like two fuel injector failure, abs sensor issues, clutch issues etc. Almost we had spend nearly a lakh rupees for its maintenance itself, now after five years since we are out of warranty, same sort of issues like hard clutch, injector issues, abs sensor issues arise again. Because abs sensor, got met with a accident too, got damaged the front bumper and right headlight, due to failure of abs sensor the car skid from the road while it was raining and hit a mile stone post. This all sort of issues are very often with this skoda rapid segment, i really wonder why this reputed company is not solving this issues practically!? The skoda people are making their customers really a big fool. Unnecessarily we are loosing big amounts of money, as because we had brought this car from skoda. I don't know, what will the bill for solving all such issues with the car again. I really appreciate, for solving this from skoda india authorities, at the very earliest possible...

        Gave my car fabia mh 12 gf 5150 on 7th sept 2019 for servicing and the problems which are addressed are not been solved properly and even spare parts availability is a question always with skoda. The problem which are mentioned in servicing are not sorted but some other issue are created by mishandling and working and that cost for repairing and replacing are charged from customer. No senior manager present, no receptionist, dealership changing frequently, this shows the position of skoda in india in terms of service, sales and spare parts. Market is not built just by selling products.

          Hi,
          This is very disappointing. We as clients choose a insurance provider based on the showroom recommendations.
          This case of a rat bite was noticed by the supervisor during inspection of vehicle,
          Reliance insurance have confirmed during the renewal that rat bite is part of the package.
          When the your show room service supervisor has confirmed that there is a problem, on what grounds can they deny the claim.

            I feel as an harassed skoda rapid owner after the fuel injector problem resurfaced just after 2 1/2 years of replacing the first one. My car model 2012 ambition tdi with a total 60000 km covered. I firmly believe that faulty fuel injector is to addressed by company without charging the customer.
            Adding to it i have already spend a good amount for other issue.

              A childhood dream that turned to be a nightmare

              Let me narrate the incident that happened few months back to my best buddy. It was his childhood dream to own a skoda and he bought the skoda rapid in 2017. His happiness didn’t last long. While we were travelling to bangalore, the car caught fire and fortunately we could steer the car to a safe spot which averted fatality. The car was completely damaged and was declared as total loss.

              The incident was reported to skoda and a technical team from pune inspected the vehicle to identify the cause of fire. After multiple follow-ups, the report we received from skoda was dreadful. They came back with a single liner email saying the car had an after-market headlight installation connected on the battery positive. My friend was not satisfied with the report and contacted the customer care multiple times asking for the complete technical report. After continuous follow-up they informed him saying the technical report can’t be shared with the vehicle owner. Does that make sense? Doesn’t he have the right to know what exactly caused the fire?

              What is the use of extending the manufacturer warranty from four to six when they can’t support a customer who bought the vehicle a year ago. These are marketing techniques and looks good on papers, nobody is being benefited from this. The only concern skoda had was whether any media covered the incident while the vehicle was on fire? Fortunate for them, the incident occurred in a remote location on national highway and no media was available to cover this. Skoda india is not committed to help their so called beloved customer. My friend is struggling to find any support from skoda and hopefully will have to take this up with the court of law for justice.

              As last 6 months My Skoda Yeti Car AC is not functioning well. Left side AC is not giving cooling air and Right side AC cooling is good. but after some time both side AC cooling is giving hot air only.

                Sir, we had purchased the car skoda superb model 2011 since then we are facing a lot of problem. Previously our car got repaired by jai auto vehicles pvt. Ltd. 60 26.12.2018 and we had paid rs.3, 43, 000/- (Rs. Three lac forty three thousand only) vide bill no. Ggno[protected] dt.28.12.2018 in this case your service dealer issued us warranty for two years for any defect in the car. But now car is not still not functioning. The pick up of the car is very slow. Coolent is leaking. We belongs to bareilly u. P. India there is no service center nearby our place. I am a renowned orthopedic consultants and facing a lot of problem.
                Please see the matter and resolve the problem at the earliest. Otherwise we shall be compel to take legal action.

                  Dear officer,

                  I am writing this mail in such a shocking state of mind as the company is doing blunder and still very proudly delivering the reason why they done this!!

                  I am holding skoda rapid dl1cz0695 on our company name impasto communication pvt ltd as bought in february 2018 from arya skoda, moti nagar, new delhi.

                  Two days back when i had faced the puncture in my car and replaced the faulty tyre with stepney tyre in night. Yesterday when i went to the tyre repairing shop and he fixed the puncture of the faulty tyre that time i have seen something which is a blunder by the company while not providing the same tyre size as been fixed in my car of 15 no.

                  The stepney which is given by the company is of 14 no. Not of 15 no. As given the other tyre in the car. It’s purely a cheating and blunder done by the company while playing with the people life as just kept aside the moral and standard of the company while for the sake of saving few bucks the company cheating their costumer as manipulating with the tyre size of stepney.

                  I wanted to know what standard the company holds while justifying the act done with sick mentality and when i called up the costumer care the guy who pickled the call after knowing my concern, he said this is how we do as the stepney is mend for then emergency!!

                  The statement given by the costumer care executive was very veered and the company does not have any right to say any bull sheet in such a manner. I have bought the car and the wheel which are necessity for any car without which the car can’t run and even the air pressure in the tyre make difference to the car if not properly or equally filled can make you in trouble with accident or life threat just because of the unbalance in the tyre pressure. And i am shocked the company giving two different tyre sizes for the 4 wheel and smaller for the stepney.

                  How can company play with the costumer life in such a cheap manner how can 3 different size tyre and one different size tyre can make your life secure, who will be responsible for any accident occur while driving and make our life on stake for such blunder.

                  I immediately want the company to replace the stepney tyre with 15 no. As just can’t tolerate this at any cost or any justification. The company can’t decide the parameter of emergency and play with us we have paid for the car which can give our life a reason to feel secure while driving.

                  Need immediate action and replacement of the wrong provided stepney or else will take this matter on social media with senior authorities of the company or else will take an appropriate legal action.

                    unresolved issue with engine oil & coolant

                    For last 2 yrs i am noticing that my skoda rapid at car is consuming more oil & more coolant (Abnormally high). I need to top up up more tha 2 liters of oil between service to service excluding the oil replacement done during the service.
                    For the same problem i have visited vinayaka skoda on many occasions.
                    They have replaced the coolant jar for suspected leak some time back. But they have no clue about the oil consumption...

                    Hi, I naman dubey owner of skoda superb DL3CBM5544 . I keep on track on my vehicle for even any minor things happen in my car will be repaired immidiately.
                    I have every service record and every maintenance record .
                    There is no error on the odo meter even no heating it was running like it was before with perfect condition .
                    On 27th aug 2019 . 11:30 pm in new delhi railway station parking, I parked my car in the parking came out to receive my friend from railway station when i came back to the parking after 18-20 minutes car caught fire and smoke and it was hard to stop i called all possible way emergency to stop that fire but all engine burned up everything burned up.
                    I could be in the car when car catches fire.
                    What is the point of luxury and safety when you are going to death zone. Everything was maintained and cleared in my car there was not even a single fault not even a error .what is the point of fire?

                    Is company has any answer??
                    Why ?
                    If they really have convincing power than tell me why customer buy skoda car if it will happen anytime suddenly with anyone

                      We purchased Skoda rapid in Mar 2014. Car is not caring us. We are actually caring the Vehicle. Already one fuel injector gone. At Tape Bangalore, It was replaced. Service center itself, some culprits talking separately with us to change the fuel injector in lower price. Now on travelling to Bangalore, our car failed once again in the mid night near Dharmapuri Tamilnadu yesterday. Our calls to Skoda and insurer failed. They are bargaining only the money and not about us or the car. We were at the dark night up to 2.Am . luckily one private bus stopped and saved us. After 12 hours of the failure, Tow vehicle picked our vehicle by 12.noon Today after 12 hours of breakdown time to Salam S7 cars. Now they are telling to replace one more fuel injector. cost is 23 thousands. There are many unpleasant moments for us with this car from the purchase. By the Gurudev motors behaving/servicing and many failures while travelling.

                        Hi, my skoda rapid ambition 1.6 tdi, bought in dec 2012, recently had an issue of a blinking "emission and coil" indicator, in between a drive. When it was taken to the service station krishna automobile in chandigarh, they diagnosed and the issue seems to be with fuel injectors. The service station has informed us that the cost of 1 such fuel injector as rs.24000/- and since it is outside our warranty, we may have to bear the cost. After i checked online, i found that there were many vehicles with the same problem, which definitely raises a question on the reliability of skoda rapid cars.
                        Worst is they dont have injector and say that they will have to import it from germany and after decoding it will be fitted and process may take 10days.
                        Now what is the root cause and how to prevent the same failure of other injectors and if in case it happens the cost of the replacing all injectors will go above rs110, 000 which will make everyone think twice before purchasing any skoda vehicle in future.in my opinion this is a wrong design of injector for our country, which they are making us pay. Its a perfect case for a recall, but they are avoiding it.

                          We have a skoda octavia automatic car top end model. We are facing problem
                          In its gear box that it misses all the time. Its engine produces a very different sound at times while driving. We have complained about it to the company's customer care. We have given our car for servicing at the lucknow service center from more than a month and they are not able to solve the problem by saying that they dont have the necessary part. From more than a month our car is lying with them. We are ready to pay for the services but still no respond from the company's end. Please this is ymto bring to the notice of all the other skoda customers the problem we are facing with such a big renouned car company. Actions should be taken against them.

                            problem with ecm of my skoda rapid

                            I have a skoda rapid petrol, which i had given to jmd skoda at their kandivili workshop in mumbai on the 1st of august 2019. They had diagonised that there is a problem in the ecm and would be rectified in 3 days. I had escalated the problem right up to the managing director, but to no avail.
                            Today is the 19th of august and still there is no redressal of my problem.
                            I am without a car for 19 days!!!...

                            My skoda rapid 3rd injector also failed. Feel cheated as not replaced even though it's manufacturing defect. Car lying at dealer.
                            My skoda rapid diesel car is 2012 model. It is shocking to note that it had got frequent injector issues right after the delivery that all three injectors failed. First one got damaged in 2015, next in 2018 and now in 2019.

                            The car is now under service who informed that i have to spent rs.25k for replacement of the injector. Earlier these were replaced on goodwill warranty. Now it is forcefully passed on to customer for the manufacturer's defect. All other car companies usually recall the cars for free replacement of damaged parts.

                            But it is worst experience that for manufacturing defect of parts customer is forced to pay for company fault which is not accepted. I wish to inform that this has to be replaced free of cost as this occurs frequently every year due to original injectors were faultly designed and low quality parts were installed in my car. My car is prompt serviced at every year at your authorised centres, still i have to bear the cost of damaged parts. This is not on account of wear n tear or my fault, instead manufacturing defect. I had placed lot of trust on skoda quality but this bitter experiences is affecting customer confidence.

                              Purchased the car on september 2017. Just clocked 28, 000 kms. Now shows battery problem. The service advisor says the battery will not last long. The car is having 4years /1, 00, 000 km warranty. But the says battery is covered for one year only. Its a korean battery. Suspects the oe battery capacity is a bit lower... Cheap cost cutting techniques... The ac vents are poor quality... Frequently breaks... So many other issues with the car. Poor quality product. Worst after sale service.. Kindly find a solution.                                 I have bought a skoda rapid from manikandan skoda on 9th february 2018. Today morning, for an urgent hospital case; when i tried to start my car, it didnt start. So i tried to check with manikandan service. I tried calling 4-5 times, but no one attended my call. Later, i could understand that, the service centre at kochi closed and nearby service station is thrissur. Hence i called thrissur pinnacle skoda and detailed them about the complaint, and i could understand that my battery is died. So i checked with them about 4 years warrenty; they replied that battery warrenty is only for 1 year. It is very difficult to travel from vaikom to thrissur for checking the complaints.

                                As a good customer of skoda, we are not at all satisfied with the assistance and supports.

                                  My car having registration number od 33b 1098 is with trinity skoda, bhubaneswar since last 12 days for replacement of brake drum and tyres change. Mr. Prasant behera has been assigned as service manager. I have tried calling him and also the showroom but they are not replying me. As i'm staying outside bhubaneswar, feel highly disappointed.

                                    Purchased a skoda rapid 2019 model delivered in jan 2019, turns out it has some water leakage in dicky section and it has got everything wet underneath, it does stink. Service center checked and water was reduced but it is still there are water drop let's accumulated due to which it has started to stink, and none are helping out.
                                    I had submitted my car at service center in kandivali but they just fixed it acutely, it still has a chances of having rusting in couple of year.
