This is regarding clutch related issue im facing in my car since the day i bought. Clutch is too hard for regular city driving i have mentioned this problem to dealer vinayaka skoda in my every visit to service centre.. They never tried to resolve it in the warranty period which is 2 years from date of purchase, after the warranty got expired dealership is quoting me approx 20000 for clutch replacement, this is manufacturing defect which they need to resolve it under warranty.. But dealer is refusing it to get it done and charging me 20000 for clutch replacement.

    The service advisor has issued the estimate bill and the final bill after completion of work regarding vehicle damage. The final bill differ from the estimated bill. There are some done which were not in estimate so insurance company totally refused to pay for it. And i m bearing financial burden for mistake by advisor. Still the service advisor is not taking calls and not responding to my grievences

      I am Praveen Sudarsanan and I have bought the Demo Model on 22nd March 2019 and this CAR was registered with Skoda[TN07 CR 9708] from 09-May-2017. I was not been informed that it would be a 1 year Warranty use and throw Battery which would be available in Car and while am purchasing the car on 22nd - March 2019, it has been 1.6 years the same battery is been used. Now yesterday, 19th May 2019, my car was not getting the ignition and the time was 11:45 PM and i was with my family with two infants. Road got blocked, with the help of Police i got the Gem Start and reached home.

      Morning, with the help of Road side assistance Team, again Gem start has been done and made the vehicle available @ the Guindy Service Center. When contacted Sugumar(Manager in Teynampet - Mobile-[protected]), his response was like that "we can't give each parts description of warranty" and there is no Skoda policy to report the Battery Condition at least or replace it when it has very well exceeded the warranty timeline. This was most surprising and am really unhappy why i prepared Skoda instead of Audi thinking of the 'solid Make'.

      I really think, this is just Sugumar's thinking and not Skoda's. Could you please provide me a justification on whether it's like the skoda policy to provide a Car that too in risk which can get switched off / not ignition any time ? Also could you please let me know why myself as a customer should bear the loss or attain the tension with infant's and women during midnight in the middle of the road, with Strangers ?

        I purchased a Skoda rapid from Jio auto mobiles Calcutta in 2015. Very next year one of the injectors feel. I had locally purchased extended warranty and got the Same eeplaced. 2018 the second injector failed . I was so ashamed and scared of my decision. I hardly used the car because I was scared tha failure of injector Could take place anytime and leave me stranded in the middle of nowhere. Today the third injector has failed andSkoda has nothing to say on that. It is a shame and I think that Skoda should now take action and replace the car immediately. The car has done only 7600 km.

        I had complained about continuous injector failures, 3 in 3 year in a new car . Car has done only 8000 km. Never buy any Skoda product as company is least bothered about the customer once the have sold their product.

          The car broke down on the 31st of May somewhere in Karnataka before Belgaum at 7.30am, after which I managed to get a towing vehicle by 10. Since Kolhapur was the closest service centre, I towed it 80kms back for which they charged me 5k.
          I spent the entire day at the dealership while they “diagnosed” it and when they closed at 6, I decided to continue my journey. Landed up at the Kolhapur bus stand to board a bus to Goa. Finally got on a bus at 11.30pm that night.
          The problems started later when they found a fuel injector, which is a common problem with the VW Vento and Skoda Rapid was faulty and needed to be replaced, for 25, 000₹.
          An ever greater worry was that there are 3 more that may give way on another trip and command an additional 25k each.
          Still greater a problem was that they had REFUSED MY WARRANTY claim sighting that there were external lights installed. How might this cause a problem with the fuel injector for the engine? Which happens to be a regular part that fails anyway?
          I think @skodaindia is deliberately trying to shun away responsibilities at a time when winning over consumer support is critical.
          Moreover, what’s funny is that they’ve sold the extended warranty on the car AFTER these lights were installed. How can you make a consumer pay EXTRA for a warranty when you are not going to honour it in the future?
          @skodaindia Probably looks at customer grievances as additional profit and revenue sources.
          It’s been 2 months with my #skoda #rapid . I’m overly disappointed with their “extended customer support”
          I have asked @skodaindia @skodagram to look into the matter with a little more foresight and come to a mutual understanding so we can resolve the matter at the earliest.
          My goal is not to spread a rumour. I want what is fair.
          I however, feel I’ve been cheated.
          @skodagram @skodaindia Please acknowledge.

            I am also facing the same issue of blinking "emission and coil" indicator. I have a skoda rapid 2012 model. Right from starting i am having issues with the car.in the first year itself, its gear rod was changed since it was defective. Two year back, i got it serviced from an authorized service centre in wazirpur industrial area, delhi. The day i took back the vehicle after servicing, this blinking "emission and coil" indicator appeared while going back from service centre. Had to take it 2-3 times to service centre and thereafter it settled. A few days back, it again appeared so i took the vehicle to jai auto today for getting it checked and for servicing. Now, they are saying that one of the injector is faulty and need replacement which will cost around 26000 rs.
            My car is still there in the service centre. Can skoda company comment that how so many cars are facing the same problem. Pl help.

              I purchased a car on 16 may 2019 from the very first day i am having an issue with power window on 18 may 2019 after that istart facing an issue with front and rear suspension start giving abnormal nosie with 1200km i am such a problems i visit krishana automobiles in ludhiana they are saying we will repair it within few days i start my new car repairing my car reg pb10hc6900 i want my car to be replaced i dont want any repair in my new car i having a vedio on which i will viral if no would be taken on this chassis no.               I sincerely urge everyone not to buy Skoda in life...I had two major complaints within 20 months..while buying they say all is covered in 4 yrs warranty and charge nominal fee..but this is a marketing stunt...they charge good amount for all problems...so friends avoid getting into a trap

                I have givenmy car claiming for replacemnt of head lights on 28th may 19, got dimidnised, under eatneded warranty. Even after 72 hours company has ot given approval for repalcement of head lights under warranty. Service center says they have not received approavl till now ie., 31/5/19. I had paid around 35000/ fro two yrs extended warraenty at the advice of dealer.

                  I had purchased skoda rapid on 28/02/2018 from tafe access limiteed - hs showroom, bangalore. At the time of delivery they have informed pms package is available and took a payment of rs. 9999/- but even after one year no facility is extended for me and amount is also not returned. The company has cheated me, even after regular follow up issue not resolved. Now company people informed the package can not be given if i want they will refund the amount. If i am not eligible for pms package why company has to hold my money for more than one year. The show room people are not responding for the issue i am forced to go consumer forum.

                    My skoda rapid is 2017 december model and they say battery battery dead.,..in just 18 months. I own/ used other vehicles,.. No vehicle battery went down at this early stage. Kindly rectify my issue and replace them. Expecting proper response from the skoda end.
                    I never expected such a bad product quality under the skoda brand. Many said don't buy skoda but now i feel that i made a mistake by goin for skoda.

                      I would like to bring to attention the problems faced by me because of skoda. I have purchased a skoda rapid monte carlo auto edition on 19th dec 2018.

                      I gave my car for service for a clutch problem experienced to sga cars, coimbatore.
                      Complaint -
                      1. Overheating of clutch during uphill drive,
                      2. Stop indication in the console of car.

                      Now this problem has occurred after i had taken the car from sga and not even 2 days and 150kms had been driven. I had given the car after an accident where i spent 2.77l with sga and had my car delivered on 26th april 2019. I had planned a trip for 28th and on my way uphill the problem occured. Stop indication was shown.

                      Total kms - 4700kms.
                      Kms aft taking out of showroom - 150kms.

                      Now 1. Why would there be a clutch problem at 4700kms?
                      2. Also this was an automatic transmission?
                      3. Was i given a faulty vehicle?
                      4. Was my clutch swapped during previous service?
                      5. Or has any damage been overlooked in my previous service?

                      Please provide answers for my above questions. I hold u liable for all the problems caused and will be expecting an answer. Clutch is such a vital part and expensive. I had owned 4 cars before this and had not experienced a problem like this that too at 4700kms!!! I stress 4700kms. I feel cheated. Was i sold a faulty vehicle??? Is skoda such a scamming company??? My belief with skoda is torn. Now i feel like i made a very bad purchase!!!

                      I want an official reply stating the cause of this problem. Plz reply to my mail (Which hasn't been entered by my dealer still after so many requests. I still don't receive a copy of my bills n havent still received the invoice of my car purchase. Still!!)
                      Please do have a look and make it easier for me to be still a part of skoda!

                        We have skoda laura, gave it for service on april 27th, they said that everything is good, on may 5th while returning from hyderabad it has stopped in between, it went to skoda service center vijayawada and kept it for three days, after running diagnostics they confirmed that there is no problem.in three days again it has stopped on the road, again they took it, now they are telling there is an ecm problem and it costs 1, 70, 000 rupees. They have, no responsibility, no proper service, does not know what is the problem. Sometimes they say that there is no problem and sometimes they say that there is ecm problem. We have been going in and out for past 20 days. Our time is very precious and this is the worst service ever. I would never suggest or buy skoda in my life. Last but not least, they asked us to take skoda laura home as it takes one wek for the parts to get it and there is no space there. I dont think it would ever happen with any car company except for skoda.

                          Dear sir,

                          We would like to state our concern about the skoda rapid engine problem which we have faced in the recent days.

                          Our car started showing the engine oil check light on 18th april 2018, on our immediate action we took the car to your authorised skoda service centre saisha skoda jaipur and they identified and told us that the oil seal has to replaced to solve the problem.
                          We got the servicing and complete oil seal replacement done at your authorised service centre as per their recommendation with job car number 005101 and paid rs15549 for the same

                          However on 9th of may the same problem started while we were on the highway going to delhi from jaipur.

                          The car engine suddenly stopped and we immediately got the car towed to your service centre saisha skoda from neemrana to jaipur and paid crane charges of rs7000.

                          Further after their inspection they are telling us that their is problem in tapid cover in the engine and diesel is mixing with the engine oil.
                          The estimated repair cost they are now quoting is around 35000 rs.
                          This is not a wear and tear problem.

                          This is absolutely a manufacturing fault.
                          Our car running is just 1.43 lakhs kms which is very less as per the age of a german skoda engine.

                          We request skoda india to look into the matter urgently and rectify the manufacturing engine fault so that genuine skoda customer like us restore our trust back in the skoda brand.

                            I have purchased skoda rapid in mar 2018 and from the day i purchased i am facing issue related with faulty car battery and i was not aware those problems are realated with car battery

                            After an year (My car first service) car battery got died and they saying that they only provide 1 year warranty. This is pathetic as their car cost around 16 lakh to me... So why they can not give warranty of 4 year (Bec they use cheap quality battery)

                            Other than this you will get issue with mileage and load on injector due to poor battery

                              Sir.. I have purchased skoda rapid from sidak automobiles karnal on 6th oct 2017.. N dey did insurance of my car from new india assurance... My car met with an accident on 23rd nov 2018 following which it has been shifted to chanel motors haldwani for accidental repair.. Initially dey denied cashless service as they told me dat they have not tied up with new india assurance company.. Meanwhile i planned to shift my car to sidak automobiles karnal but it was costing me abt 40000... N i repeatedly contacted customer care. N then channel motors people assured that no need to worry.. We will repair it and after u get ur insurance claim from new india.. We will deliver after dat only.. I said ok.. Fyn.. Initially dey told me ur car will b ready by february then by march then by april.. N goes on... Repeatedly.. Its so annoying dat even till date my car is not ready.. N dey r saying it will take few more days.. 7 out of 10 times dey nvr even respond to my call.. Even i paid dem 50000 in adv.. N so frustrated ryt now told dem.. I don't need any insurance.. I will pay in full cash.. Kindly repair my car asap.. Full winter gone.. Half summer gone.. N next due date of my car insurance is coming every month m paying my car emi.. Just help me get my car.. So that i can sell it.. N buy some another one from some reputable n responsible car manufacturer... It was my biggest mistake i bought ur car.. Aap logo se haaat jod kar vinti kar raha hoon. Kripa karke jaldi se jaldi meri car thik karwa kar mujhe vapis dilaye... N kindly look into matter y sidak automobiles did my car insurance from new india car assurance i[censored] have no national tie up with them.. Because of this i have to pay salvage of 30 to 40 thousands.. Is it my mistake... Galti ho gyi skoda lekar... Bhagwan aisi saza kisi ko na de... Kripa karke meri help kijiye..

                                I had given my skoda fabia to change radiator fan and very next day it was not working coz the fan was done direct wiring and it burn and know they are saying we are not responsible as its your fault. The fan was burn due to direct wiring done in company coz the socket was not available so they told me come after 15 days when it will available will let u know and when i send my car the fan was already burn and know they are not replying and no response.
                                And last year i buy new superb i think i will not get good service and response

                                  I had given my car
                                  For servicing on 2nd of may 19 and i came to the service station to get pick my car up. I had issues with my car there was no performance, low mileage, rattling sound in my front left door and salt water marks on my alloy wheels. After paying my full when i came to inspect my car the work on alloy wheels was not complete even i am literally waiting here and have been pushed from pillar to post even after three consecutive times they worked on the alloy wheels the water mark work was not complete. When i was about to leave with the car i realised the arm rest is lock is broken.

                                  Service manager krishnamurthy says there is no stock of the armrest and have to be replaced with the demo car armrest l. I am persistent to get this fixed. Krishnamurthy says he will send me an email as a confirmation and once it is available he will call me and get it fixed.

                                  Request you to kindly fix this today as i am traveling tomorrow to pune and wish get this resolved today.

                                    Engine, charging point and ac vent were working perfectly fine when i had left the vehicle with priti skoda. These malfunctions are because of their shoddy work. They had taken out the ac vent during repair work and goofed up while fixing it back.. Also the charging point. They had promised that they will fix the engine issue and asked me to drive till the fuel tank is completely empty and the problem would go away with fresh fuel. Now they want me to pay for everything! Have already paid rs 2, 62, 000. Labor cost of rs 80, 000!

                                    When i'm complaining abt the engine issue now, they are saying this much noise is normal.. Please watch the video clip attached.. There is engine jerk once every 10 seconds or so. No wonder skoda has such a bad reputation when it comes to after-sales service.

                                    The paint job was done so pathetically that it has started to peel off!! Pics attached

                                    Also, priti skoda goofed up on reporting to the insurance people abt replacement of certain parts and i had to unnecessary pay close to rs 12000 for it. Had complained abt this earlier and skoda india has failed to do anything on this front.

                                    Nobody from skoda has been of any help.. Message is clear people.. Stay away from skoda vehicles.. After sales is horrible. They hire unskilled road side mechanics to fix expensive and precision german vehicles.

                                      Last saturday while driving from bengaluru to kerala with my family, my car showed a coil indicator when i reached channapatna. I called the skoda service center immediately and they asked me to tow the vehicle to service center. After booking a taxi for my family i towed the vehicle to skoda service centre in mysore.
                                      The service center informed me that one of the injector is faulty and needs to be replaced.
                                      Currently they are waiting the arrival of the part of replacing the injector.
                                      But i researching on injector failure for skoda rapid tdi, i realize there was a faulty injector which were recalled by skoda dated 28-march-2013.
                                      Even though i have serviced my car regularly, the service center never replaced the faulty injector.
                                      And now i have to pay ~ 23, 000/- for fixing the car.
                                      This is not fair and i want skoda india to get the injector replaced as part of the recall advisory.

                                        I own a skoda rapid 1.6:style plus model. I purchased in 2016 and is still under warranty. Today i gave my car for replacing the ecu bracket. Then they did a check up under the service camp. They found that the pressure plate and the kit need to be replaced. When asked about the warranty it was told me that it is not covered. I am not happy with the dealer down here and unfortunately i there is only one dealer for skoda in goa. So i have to go back to them. Where as my breeza pressure plate was replaced under warranty. I need a clarification on the same.
