Pathetic customer service from skodagurudev motors. Skoda gurudev motors always fails to satisfy customers. Since my bluetooth function in car audio system stops working often where it takes 2-3 hours to function back, i left my car for service and they said software has been updated and i won't face any issues. The very next day the problem started and i didn't have time to leave the car for service again, so i kept driving with this issue. And i visited skoda service centre on 11/09/2018 for this issue, they said again software has been updated and delivered at the end of the day. As usual the very next day problem started again, i've sent them four video proofs of this problem. I used to shoot whenever i get this problem. Gurudev motors said those videos has been forwarded to skoda technical department and will get clear resolution within two days, but on 14/08/2018 myself called and inquired about the reply, their reply is pathetic!!! My attender mr. Sathish from gurudev motors trichy asked me what phone i'm using, i said it's iphone 7 therefore he replied that from iphone 6s to iphone x this problem will occur. I'm very shocked to hear this!! Is'nt a damn silly reason? Do you want me to use iphone models lower than 6. Besides this is not the actual reason everyone knows but then still i couldn't understand skoda's logic!!!
As per your logic only upto iphone 5 users can access bluetooth function is it. Even in the last skoda vehicle i had issues which gurudev motors failed to sort out. Now this car is on warranty period and they're not giving me the proper solution but only very stupid reasons. I need clarification for this problem. I'm a skoda user for almost 6 years, this is my second vehicle in skoda. I would never suggest anyone hereafter about skoda.

Just thought of owning a skoda rapid 1.5 TDI Ambition 2018 Model. But after seeing such pathetic after sales service I have changed my mind.

Also there should be an written confirmation from customer to his/her satisfaction level to close this complaint, but skoda India had just given a basic reply to

customer complaint and closed the complaint in this consumer portal.

No peace of mind I guess after purchasing Skoda!

    To whosoever it may concern

    This is with reference to my skoda superb bearing registration number dl 1c m 2152.

    The said car has been sent to your dealerships in moti nagar i. E. Farenhite / aryaveer motors on various occasions starting from 2013, unfortunately for the same issue repeatedly. Below is the detailed narration of all the episodes :

    The issue started with the mechatronics failure in 2013 which was changed under warranty by your dealership. Post this the car was principally running fine and was being timely serviced by farenhite auto on regular / scheduled intervals. Records for the same must be available in your database. Unfortunately again in sept 2017, the same problem with the mechatronics cropped up and the dsg box refused to function resulting the car to be nothing more than a piece of junk. Now again the car was bought to your dealership aryaveer motors - moti nagar. After many hassles / follow ups / requests / heated arguments with the dealership and yourselves, we fortunately this time again got the issue resolved under warranty.

    However, as if the misery of going through mecatronic failure wasn't enough, we were given the delivery of the vehicle with a faulty ac, dents on the car & a broken glass holder. Simply can't understand how this could happen in a car that has been parked at the dealership without a gearbox!!! However time and again, we fought with the dealership, by now we had enough experience of the doing the same, unfortunately post many arguments / fights we only managed to get ac functioning properly, took delivery and assumed to drive the car happily after.

    Now again post driving the car for only 90 kms in 2 months of the above episode, the car again has become a piece of junk with the dsg gearbox not responding and this time with an additional light of esp blinking!! Post evaluating the same at your dealership aryaveer motors, they have this time come up with a new technical term for mecatronics failure and named it "gateway issue".

    I am sure the above mail has explained the entire scenario and by now you must have gauged our level of misery / inconvenience we have faced because of this car / dealership. I request you to kindly look into this matter and let us know how to take the same ahead. I surely wouldn't bare any cost pertaining to the gear box / esp / mecatronics / gateway etc... This part has been faulty since the beginning itself and surely the dealer has been careless / negligent in repairing it in sept 2017, hence this new problem has cropped up with the gearbox.

    After this all many hassles replaces my mechatronics in dec 2017 under warranty from company. The car was hand over to me
    After three - four months form dealerships mr tarun services manager call us forced for good comments and tell us can i resolved this complaint i also told him that car still have problem same time at time of starting gear is not working he ignores me and told for good comment for dealership.

    Now in june 2018 car only run 280km the same problem of gears are working in car i send it dealership
    Aaryaver skoda in motinagr now after inspection of vehicle the service advisor mr. Tarun said your car have same work of 1, 98, 000/- plus labour charges please approve this estimate and your car will run properly. Now way i have to pay for same problem now dealership is telling yours cars gateways issues and some other module issues so that now please help us soon.

    After that nonsense the gm of aryaver skoda india is saying we re - inspect your vehicle know your car radio (Music system) is not working and air bag module also faulty know new estimate has been given to me is aprox 3 lakh (Rs.300, 000/-)
    Please help us.

    I could have written my misery to haymarket / team bhp / automotive india and let the world know what we have been going through, but i have full faith and trust in skoda india, hence writing to you first to evaluate and help resolve our misery.

      I bought a Skoda Rapid in March 2015 with the registration number HR 01 AL 3130. It was running smoothly until 4th August 2018 when the car broke down on the road I sent it to the service centre in Ambala Cantt there they look into the problem and asked 2 lacs Rupees as the repair cost later it was negotiated to 5500 rupees but they kept the car for 21 days and gave it to us on 25th of August 2018. I was still facing problem in the car and after 10 days I took it back to the service centre they did Inspection without issuing a job card and told that it will get fine with the course of time as it will get used. Then on 11th of September 2018 again it broke down in the middle of the road and since then till today that is 15th of September 2018 it's still in the service centre and this time they are asking us to pay amount of 60000 for it's repair.
      So what we want is for you to look into the matter and resolve the issue as soon as possible as it is not practical to stay without a car for so many days. The maintenance cost being asked is also too high so we also request you to please make sure that the service is done at the company cost in a appropriate span of time and properly.
      As a car was kept for so many days in your service centre and we were left with no vehicle to travel so I would like to ask for a compensation for those days.

          Autobahn sewri workshop - i am told that above parts clutch plate and flywheel of above car got damaged.

          How can the above said parts get damaged after running of only 2450 km as i have driven myself solo having more than 10 years continuous driving experience while 20 years experience in total?

          Perhaps alignment was not done properly of these parts at the time of assembly which resulted in quick damage of these parts.

          Kindly arrange for replacement of defective parts without any cost.

            My name is venkatesan, my skoda fabia registration number is tn31 at 4173 as per the service appointment i had sent my vehicle for service to s7 cars india private ltd-salem (Tamilnadu) on 13/08/2018.
            While leave the vehicle for service we had clearly explained the problems/issues to be attend even the service advisor acknowledged during telephonic conversation (The day after leave the car for service). Especially two important issues one is starting trouble and another one is mild abnormal noise during the ridding.
            Just for your information actually i had sent the vehicle for service for these two important issues only... On 14/08/2018 evening received call from the s7 cars service advisor and he confirmed that vehicle is ready for delivery after the servicing. During this telephonic conversation again i had asked whether the both important issues are cleared, he confirmed that both are cleared tomorrow service center shall remain closed, you may come on 16/08/2018 after noon... But he also mentioned that you may have to change the battery after some time if the starting trouble still exists.
            As committed on 16/08/2018 afternoon i reached service center to take delivery of my vehicle. They asked me to pay the service charges but i said would like to take trail check the vehicle present condition and performance.
            They make necessary arrangements for trail run with service technician we went together during the trail observed same abnormal sound.. I really disappointed after coming back because the abnormal sound still exists than i asked the service advisor what was the issue on starting trouble (Previous) they said now everything become normal no more issue... I had cleared explained what was the previous issue on starting trouble (Seems its related cable plug in issue because before send for servicing i had faced similarly problems more than 40 times always we use to hold the electrical plug while starting).
            Again they checked and confirmed no issues. After coming back they checked and was saying that seems some issues on gear box.. I was really disappointed and pissed off because my car was in their workshop more than two days nothing was done.

            Finally they suggested to replace the battery, i said are you sure but there was no definite reply from them...

            Finally with same condition i took the vehicle back because of some personal urgency... Also to reach the service center i have to travel more than 300kms.

            Unfortunately after reached home next day the same starting trouble has started... Right now facing same problem do not know should i do!!!

            Even i spent around 13000 rupees my major requirement/issues has not been solved... Only my car is neat and clean that's it... Looks they are much interested in sale the spare parts only.

            Note: as my major issues were not resolved i was refuse to sign job card.
            Upon their (Crm-s7 cars) request i had sent back my vehicle to s7 car service center...

              Model : skoda rapid 2017 april ambition diesel
              Km driven : 28, 000
              Problem : clutch plates and battery dead
              First of all battery drained of before one year and now clutch plates issue and vehicle broke down twice. Now they say that clutch plates are torn off has to be replaced which they claim doesn't fall in warranty ware and tear product.
              They charged me with huge labour charges which is supposed to be free.
              I drove innova and honda city for 15 years and never felt this problem before 80 thousand km. Claims that my driving is so bad...
              Where did the skoda promise of 4 years replacement warranty and free service while purchasing.
              Why are labour charges so high and why is this issue repeating frequently for the skoda vehicles and they say your driving is issue. If it is to replace clutch plates and other parts so frequently why to design the vehicle and market low maintenance best german engine first of all make users happy and be positive about your products.
              I want to get proper clarity regarding this issue and i don't want to pay labour charges as this is their product issue.

                Today morning I had a shutdown and no body us picking phone on customer care number

                When I talked to Mr girish tiwari at haldwani he is misbehaving..

                This is very bad on part of Skoda automobile

                I you do not take action on this I will post review on social network and sites like mouthshut, car dekho and car bazar that no one buy cars from Skoda as they misbehave once u buy it.

                  Dear skoda india,

                  My skoda rapid top end model elegance 1.6 tdi bought in jan-2012, runs 39000kms so far with single hand drive, we had an issue of blinking "emission and coil" indicator, in between a drive.

                  We are following the regular service guidelines suggested by manufacturers with only authorized company service station skoda.

                  It has been taken to the service station – mahavir skoda – hyderabad service centre located in sanathnagar on 20/08/2018. They diagnosed and the issue seems to be with fuel injectors.

                  The service station has informed that the cost of 1 such fuel injector as around rs.25000/- and since it is outside our warranty, we may have to pay for the 1 or total 4 injectors depends on the condition of the vehicle after complete analysis.

                  Just see that, this is the problem with many vehicles, since this is the trusted/reliable brand under vw, we have chosen to purchase this car.

                  The service center is not giving a convenience root case, saying may be “this or that” definitely raises a question on the trustworthiness of skoda rapid car models.

                  Since we brought this vehicle with high belief, can you please advise the next step/course of action on fixing this problem.

                      Hi team,

                      I have booked my car for repairs at jai auto service mohan cooperative industrial estate on 11th july. Issue with the car was related to clutch and break noise only. My car was delievered to me on 21st july. I was told that problem have been resolved. Clutch was serviced and break pads and discs were replaced. I paid 20000 rupees for the services. After a day i noticed the issues was still the same and more issues were added to my car, suspension issue, power window switch issue. Break issue was still there for which i gave them[protected] rupees. I have called several times on their customer care number[protected] and even written to national customer care head (Amit. [protected]@skoda-auto.co.in), but nothing was done.

                      When i went to service station i was told i need to pay another 30000 to get the issue resolved and they wont do anything to get this issue resolved and i can go anywhere, but i need to pay another 30000 to get my car running again.

                      Service agent was manish and sushil both of them ruined my car and told me to pay to get my car back in running condition. I had word with their manager ritesh and he said the same to pay another 30000. I dont want my car to be serviced again by them as they will break my car again and they have done to many in the past.

                      Pleas look into this and help me in getting my money back along with the money that i need to pay to get my car running again.

                        Hi team,

                        I m owning skoda fabia car tn-30 ah[protected] model.

                        We lost our main key and tried with skoda spare key which is not working (Company provided key), this is first issue.

                        Then we ordered for new skoda spare key lock and paid advance amount of rs.4500 in skoda showroom, guindy chennai..

                        Intially they commited within 15 days this issue will be rectified but its 30 days past still no point of action from skoda end and whenever i call skoda team saying will get it repaired soon but no solution from their end.
                        Its an horrible experience and feel pathetic why i purchased from skoda brand now.
                        Just to replace key set no guys providing clear answers.

                        Now my car being parked in roadside and no safety for vehicle now..

                        Hope you will understand and resolve the issue soon..

                            Hello my name is Harsh Patil,
                            I have a bought my skoda rapid one year ago from Viiraj Skoda which is now named Akoya Skoda. While buying the car i was told about a lot of features in my car, among which one is Smartlink in the infotainment system. This feature is among the reasons why i bought a Skoda, as it would help me in my connectivity on the move.
                            One year down the line i have approached Skoda showroom repeatedly to activate this feature because it says on the screen to contact skoda auto and that Smartlink feature is not available. Because of this i have to keep a lousy mobile phone holder on my windshield just for guiding me for maps. Now i love my car, as it has every comfort n every luxury i expect. But there is this one thing where Skoda doesn’t want to help me and is making me think twice about whether to keep this car or sell it, as i cannot continue this same for another year. When contacted Skoda executives in the showroom, i’ve been told that this feature is active only for certain phones like HTC. Now nobody i know uses an HTC, most o[censored]s use iphones or samsung or oneplus phones. Its not fair to tell me to change my phone, whereas resliving this issue will surely give Skoda Rapid more meaning to a currently untasteful elegance. Pls understand that paying so much money for this car, and not geting one feature is not worth the overall experience. Kindly address my concern n make sure the Smartlink is activated for all phones.

                              This is to inform you that, I am facing noise problem from my Skoda Octavia MH12PC-4063 car. I purchase this car from Viraj Skoda, Baner in last year.

                              From last month after first servicing I am facing noise from last wheel break. Whenever I use break the big noise came out from wheel.

                              Regarding this problem I contact to same showroom (now transfer as Akoya) they told me after year that sound will came in every car. And they avoiding to check car and given stupid reason.

                              Today from 11AM my driver goes to showroom but till time no any attending him.

                              Kindly look in to matter on priority basis.

                                With reference to complaint no 2004838 dt 01/07/2018 no action had been taken till now 02/07/2018 4.45 pm... My car is completely out of order..& me facing a lot of problems... Please inform why there is so much delay in initiating the repair process.. When u will start the process.. Why u had cancelled the previous dt of services particularly on 22/06/2018..

                                  I am dr santanu acharyya. Cancer specialist in kolkata.. Car no. Wb06d 8204.. Last day (30/06/2018) my car suddenly stopped on a busy road in kolkata..
                                  There were no service for last few months. Even last service date on 20/06/2018 suddenly cancelled over telephone without any wriiten information. Even after the breakdown no action taken... With the help of local people i was able to manage the condition last day... Please provide your abswer in written form 1.. Why u had cancelled the previos dates partiularly on 22/06/2018...2why u didn't take any action after the breakdown.

                                    Respected sir,

                                    I had given my skoda rapid for first service (15000kms) on 31st march 2018 to vinayak skoda okhlipuram service center. Along with kilometer service i had below concerns as well

                                     (1) front right headlight has fungus formation.
                                     (2) breaking issue (Shivering while applying brake on 80+kms/hr speed)
                                     (3) missing in acceleration
                                     (4) ecm lock has broken

                                    (1) front right headlight has fungus formation
                                    For the first issue service advisor (Mr:aravind) said car has to be left in showroom for three days for getting approval from skoda to replace the headlight under warranty. I have been following-up with mr:aravind on this, he kept on saying that they haven’t got the approval from skoda and they are still waiting on for the approval. Since all the all the necessary requests are in place for the warranty approval, they have delivered the car on 2nd april saying once they get the approval i just have to go there to get the headlight replaced. From 2nd april to till date i have been calling mr:aravind and his manager for the same issue. Recently, they have asked me to leave the car for another 3 days for raising new request with skoda. When i ask about the old request they don’t have any answer. From past three days none of them are responding to my calls.

                                    (2) breaking issue (Shivering while applying brake on 80+kms/hr speed),

                                    When i collected the vehicle from vinayak skoda okhlipuram service center on on 2nd april, i was told that you had carried out a “full service”, had diagnosed all the above mentioned issues. On 3rd april, very next days after the service, the vehicle developed serious faults, rendering the vehicle unfit to drive. When i contacted the service center with the above complaint, they asked me to hold on until they get the approval for the headlight issue (Which is not happened from past 90days)

                                    (4) ecm lock has broken
                                    Since they did not have the parts ready, i have been told that they have placed order for the parts and as soon as the parts is arrived it will be replaced. I have never got any follow-up calls on this as well.

                                    When the car was delivered after the service, i have noticed multiple scratches on front and back bumper. Car was not washed using water after the service it was just rubbed with cloth. When i went to pick up the car, car was parked outside of the showroom by opening all the windows and the flip keys were just thrown on the bonnet. I have mentioned the same in the feedback book as well (I am not sure what are they going to do with the feedback though). I am very disappointed by the laid back attitude of vinayak skoda. Your dealer is tarnishing skoda's image severely, and even though i like the car and the brand, but due to such pathetic service, i don't think i'll be recommending skoda to anybody if it continues in the same way. I would appreciate it if you could organize to fix the problems asap. As i am sure you can appreciate, i rely on my car for transport and apart from the inconvenience, this problem has also caused me to incur additional cost.

                                    I look forward to settling this matter amicably. If, however, the matter is not satisfactorily resolved, i will consider taking further action to resolve the complaints.

                                      I gave my car for regular service on 18/06/18 at gurgaon (Haryana) jai auto skoda service center, but in evening i got to know i won’t be able to collect car for another 2-3 days. Failing to understand the issue and continuing to delay the things the matter got delayed to 5th day to which during billing i got to know that the parts covered under extended are being charged. I have to pay for them. On arguing for the same with the service manager he tells me that only things approved by company is covered and not the things mentioned in extended warranty terms and condition doesn’t hold any value. I was shocked to hear that during sale of the car they told me advantages of extended warranty n to buy it is good option for which i paid huge amount. On other hand to avail that benefit they r refusing now. Very poor service from skoda india. I am helpless for same and my car is stuck.

                                        I came in sidak automobiles ambala for my repair and service work. When i came my fuel tank was full mr mandeep skoda employ also agreed about but after i came my tank was one third empty when i asked about manager he misbehave with me and ask me to give him parking charges rs 500 per day for the time my car was in agency for repair work. Manager behave was very rude and bad i will never come in sidak automobile again
