I currently own a rapid elegance 1.6 car bought in 2011. I was made aware about an exchange scheme and visited the somajiguda sales office. The price list displayed was effective from 1st may'16 and another person informed that the price list is not valid and gave me an inflated figure. When questioned, he gave some unconvincing answers. Leaving that aside, i asked for an evaluation of my car, which is in good condition having run 70, 000 kms. To my surprise, he evaluated it at rs.2, 20, 000. Then coming to the colour, we were looking for black and were informed that black is not in manufacture and we will have to make do with what is available.

Since i was happy with the present car and after sales service, i thought of going for a purchase of either octavia or a rapid once again.

However, the attitude of your sales personnel has put me off. Absolutely disgusting, to say the least.

    I own skoda rapid - 2015
    Jaipur, rajasthan.
    Recently my car was with the authorised workshop of skoda for accidental claim pass and repairs in jaipur (Saga automotives, road no-8, vishkarma industrial area, jaipur.)
    I am not satisfied with the customer relationship and behaviour of thier executives.
    My car was left with the workshop on wednesday 6th june 2018 and i was promised that car would be delivered by saturday 9th june 2018.
    The claim was of car bumpers and one headlamp
    And the staff commited to change both bumpers and headlamp under the claim policy.
    On 7th june i was told that the survey has been done by the insurance company and repairing is initiated
    The staff in the workshop lied throughout
    And when my car was delivered late by 4 days i. E on 13th june 2018
    After talking to the surveyor i came to know that survey of my car was done on 11th june and headlamp which was to be changed was not considered and neither told to me about this by the workshop staf[censored]ntil they delivered my car.
    Before that i was told that headlamp will be changed and staff lied to me.
    The executive who handeled my case lied throughtout and recieved my phone calls according to his wish.
    The car was delivered in very unsatisfactory condition, the car antenna was broken and delivery was delayed by 4 days.
    I am skoda customer from 3 years
    And this is the all time worst experience with skoda
    This is not expected from world class reputed company.
    Please look into this matter.

      I purchased the skoda rapid from aryaveer delhi in jan'18 but still did not get the rc. Already discussed amit times with dealer but no proper response. Also logged many compliments but no revert. So need you support to provide my rc.

      Also discussed with dealer owner but situations is still the same. Always provide the false information and commitment. I am fed up.

      I gave my Skoda Kodiaq for repair to Shiel Autoworld Pvt Ltd. for repairs on 24th of April 2018. But till date they have not repaired my car and I have been to their showroom ample of times. Every time they give one excuse or another but my car is not repaired.

      Beware of Skoda cars in India.

        Sir am k. S rao from hyd bearing vehicle number ts08er4055 skoda octavia, sir i had given my vehicle on may 26th 2018 as there was some a/c problem, as they assured me to give the vehicle in one week. But as on date there is no response from them as repeatedly give them a call they are not responding to my calls. As i called miss. Pornima (Manager) also but she also nt giving me a proper response to me. Iam feeling that i had done big mistake by giving the car to mahavir motors. It would have been better if i would have given the vehicle to some other vendor.

          Sir,

          It is with a great deal of disappointment that we write to you, to report how we, as first time customers of Skoda, have been cheated and duped by Skoda Grand Auto Capital, Pitampura, New Delhi.

          My daughter in law Dr Aprajita Sinha purchased a Skoda Rapid Edition X (Petrol) from Grand Auto Capital, Pitampura in November 2017, through Mr. Neeraj Paharia, their Sales team leader. Mr. Neeraj initially collected a booking amount of Rs 51, 000 (by cheque), followed by a sum of Rs 1, 56, 000 in cash, and Rs 6, 00, 000 and Rs 4, 91, 000 by two cheques. These were collected from our residence on 22/11/17. He did not provide us a receipt for the cash amount, but instead gave us his official Skoda business card with his signature and the amount received on the back of the card, as an acknowledgement of receiving the registration amount in cash (copy attached). The car was delivered on 29/11/17 with a temporary registration number (DL 08 TC WP 042), with an understanding that a permanent registration number would soon be provided.

          Mr Neeraj Paharia was unreachable by phone shortly thereafter. On enquiring from Grand Auto Capital, we were told by Mr. Amit, the assistant manager at Grand Auto Capital, that Mr. Neeraj Paharia was involved in fraud with the company and is no longer associated with them. He told us that there was a case filed against Mr. Neeraj for fraud and he would get back to us regarding permanent registration of the care once the matter was sorted, which he never did. Furthermore, he stopped attending to our calls. On contacting the showroom thereafter, we were told that we wouldn’t be provided permanent registration for the car, as the company hadn’t received payment for the same.

          We spoke to Mrs. Shilpi (Customer Relations) and Mr. Madan (Accounts), who told us that we have to pay a further sum of Rs 1, 40, 000 to get permanent registration, as according to them, the cash amount of Rs 1, 56, 000 was not received by the company. Furthermore, when we showed them proof of this cash payment to Mr Neeraj (his acknowledgement with his signature on his business card), Mr. Madan offered to settle the matter if we agreed to bear 50% of the cost, which was refused.

          My daughter in law and son are both doctors and resident surgeons working at Venu Eye Institute and Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi respectively. With their busy schedules, it has been extremely stressful and frustrating for them to repeatedly contact and seek a solution from Grand Auto Capital, who have been stubborn and indifferent to our problem. It is extremely obvious that the company was cheated by Mr. Neeraj Paharia, and an ordinary customer is being made a victim. It is evident that the onus of accounting for the lost money lies with the company and not on us, who were delivered the car only after full payment.

          We decided to go with Skoda for its reputation and quality with professional and trustworthy sales teams. However, we are being harassed by withholding the permanent registration of the new car in order to force us to pay, and recover losses incurred from your own employees. You will appreciate that such incidents reflect extremely poorly on a reputed company as yours.

          My daughter in law is constrained to seek alternative modes of communication for her daily professional commute to hospital in the absence of registration of her new car. Please be aware that we shall escalate this issue manifold in the absence of a speedy and satisfactory response from you.

          We trust that Skoda will stand up for professionalism, integrity, honesty and fair play.

          1.5 years with skoda rapid... And one fine day, the battery damages without any fault.

          On asking...they say, for new car, 1 year battery waranty, and for new battery that i purchased i will get 2 year warranty.

          Shall i assume, in new car they put refurbished batteries because they dont believe it will cover 2 years?
          Defective and broken Skoda Octavia air vents not being replaced by autorised Skoda Service in Goa.
          Even though it is covered under extended warranty . And vehicle is within extended warranty

            Dear sir,

            We have the skoda yeti vide registration no. Ap9cn-4663 have recently developed with air condition problem and we have sent the car two times to resolve the issue during last couple of days.

            As the abs system has not been working since one year and the car is running smooth without any problem for more then a year. However, when ac problem has started and we took the car to sannatnagar, hyderabad workshop for repair, they claim the problem is with abs system and vehicle has gone into a safe mode.

            We are not at all satisfied with the kind of response what we get from showroom. We strongly recommend to show the car to a senior engineer who can identify the correct route cause and show us the solution.

              What a disappointing experience... Wow! I can totally understand now why people have suggested not to buy skoda, can imagine their after sales service experience. I’m happy that i choose not to be one of them.

              On saturday, 5th of may i have done an imps of 25k to book a rapid at 20:07 hrs. But since dealership showroom was closed then and next day being a sunday i was told booking will be done on monday. I have requested...

                quality and reliability issue of fuel injector

                I have skoda rapid diesel version. Fuel injector s are failed in 55000 km. Service centres giving quotation approx 25k for fuel injector. Similar last year water pumps failed. Look like skoda rapid having quality issue of fuel injector s. Observed in ireland all the cars recalled for the same issues. Not sure why it's not happen in india. If they are not recalling aklist they should change the parts with free of cost. This concern making...

                I booked a octavia diesel manual (Style - granite grey) with skoda india’s authorised dealer - torque motors, surat.
                I was given a confirmation of the same by call & msgs too. The delivery date alloted was 29th may, 2018 and last by 10th june, 2018.
                Today when i called the showroom for getting update about the delivery, i was said that your delivery isn’t possible and that the dealer made a false promise to you. If you wish, you can cancel the booking as the company doesn’t produce granite grey colour in octavia style manual.

                For a small Dent to the length of 2", Tafe service centre kudulu Gate is not ready to set it right instead they want to replace new bumper. Even after 10 days they have not done it. One more week they need. What a service centre.

                  I own a skoda rapid 1.6 tdi 2012, skoda the brand personally very fond of it, love driving the car. Since last 2 months my opinions have changed, my car had a blinking coil on and check engine sign on, towed the car to skoda service centre, the next day got mixed feedback, the entire fuel system has failed by their representative would cost more than 1lakh, spoke to mechanic he said he can fix under the table if i pay him rs 60, 000/- on inquiring he said the all 4 fuel injectors are damaged. I was worried as how could you trust these guys. My concern was where do you go now, i have read online about the fuel injectors issues in rapid and feel that the service centres are taking advantages of this problem, being such a massive company why don't they take responsibility of their faulty injectors and provide replacement. I lived overseas for awhile and noticed that if this was the issue they would have replaced the faulty part as a goodwill gesture. So skoda offer no goodwill in india or are they less bothered about indian customers, its really a shame. We put our trust in these company and in return all we get is massive disappointment. I changed 2 fuel injectors from a local garage but the problem still persists. I was travelling with my family and on our way back on expressway pune the car suddenly stopped in mid highway, i am very disappointed with skoda rapid. It would have cost myself and my family lives. Their service centres are well aware of the fuel injector issues and are clearly robbing people.
                  I always praised my rapid but won't advise anyone to buy this car as it is not reliable.

                    Hello, i have skoda rapid of 2017 make and i purchased in vinayka skoda bangalore. I had given my car to skoda workshop where it is located in okalipuram bangalore for the firs time to change some lubricants and for the break issue, totally it is under first free service. I told to service advisor for attending that ther is lot of problem with break system and it is giving more noice when i apply with speed of minimum.. But after they giving my vehicle back to me they told that they have cleared that issue and nlice will not come again. But finally i got that they didn’t done any action which i have complained to them and also after two days i operated front glass wipers for cleaning the glass on journey time and again i find that they didn’t fill any water on tank.. But they charged more than 16 k of amount to me, i hope you will take serious action on this complaint and it would be resolved as early as possible,.

                      Hi Skoda India,

                      I own a Skoda Rapid for 4 years which car is great.

                      But there is a big issue in that with the fuel Injectors in 4 years, I have changed twice.

                      1. First Injector Issue, customer service team told i should maintain putting fuel in same brand petrol station like "HP" or "Indian Oil"

                      Which i was following for a while.

                      2. Second Injector Issue, customer service said i should put fuel in same bulk in same location.

                      HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE TO DO THAT???

                      After a while Skoda team said you need to go for car- update in order to avoid this. But my Second Injector issue happened after that.

                      Does that mean Skoda Rapid is failure in India?

                      SKODA INDIA, YOU NEED TO FIX THIS ASAP. by doing a RECALL( similar to Maruti )

                        I own a skoda fabia TDI (2011 Aug make) and the AC of my car ceased working. Gave it to Malayalam skoda for repair (on 10 May 2018) and they have told me the estimated price would be around 20K-22K plus labour charge. the final invoice (TVDM[protected] came around 30, 600

                        i have complaints on two issues

                        1) they have charged around 5K more that what they have given me an idea about as estimate. that is an unfair practice as we are forced to take back the vehicle by paying whatever amount they claim. they have not given me clear idea about the components that will be replaced before the job is done. hence i doubt a lack of transparency from the service center

                        2) Charging Rs. 30, 600 for replacing AC is a very high amount for such a small car. upon enquiry i could realise that for AC replacement of this category cars of other company cost us around Rs. 20000. so i feel dejected and doubtful that skoda using its loyal customers like me just as a money making machine by charging exorbitant money for such a complaint.

                        please do the needful at the earliest

                          I visited arya skoda service centre on 12/05/18 at 17:00 for couple of major issues in my skoda fabia such as problem with headlights, problem with center locking ane mileage.
                          Advisor jaspal singh did not advised me about his work timings and created a situation wherein i had to leave my vehicle at service center for 18 hours.
                          On 13/05/18 i received a call from jaspal listing more than 25 issues which needed to be fixed immediately.
                          I visited service center at 13:00 and asked him for detailed description he took me to the technician mukesh who was not able to amswer my queries and was focusing more on grabbing money in lakhs from me by trying to scare me with lots of irrelevant facts and when i tried to get a few details he handed it over to jaspal singh and said handle them i can't do this.

                          For headlights mukesh advised me that i can get it done from outside other than skoda as at skoda we do not believe in fixing the issues we believe in replacement regardless of criticality of issue.

                          I need to know being an international car manufacturer is this the level of service skoda is providing? Did i opt skoda to get misguided by your service advisors and technicians who wants nothing apart from completing their targets and snatch money from me by threatening me for my car.

                          If skoda is really concerned for their customers they should really stop such fraudlent activities within their service centers.

                          Really looking forward for a strict action againts arya skoda.

                            I had bought a rapid in the scheme called "buy 1 rapid get 1 fabia free", which stated that i would be entitled to get a fabia car at the end of the term. It also stated that in case fabia is not available i would get a similar car from any other manufacturer or rs.3, 50, 000/- in cash. My term has ended and this is what has happened: i had been approached by your representative with an offer on skoda rapid. I do not need another rapid as i already have one. I asked them to give me any other hatchback car as per the contract. However, i have been refused. I then asked them to pay me rs.3, 50, 000/- as per the contract but they have not agreed to same. I have called the manager numerous times and visited skoda torque many times but they are not responding.

                              Hi, my skoda rapid 1.6 tdi, bought in feb 2013, recently had an issue of a blinking "emission and coil" indicator, in between a drive. When it was taken to the service station sagar auto tech in mysore, they diagnosed and the issue seems to be with the fuel injector. The service station has informed us that the cost of 1 such fuel injector as rs.23000/- and since it is outside our warranty, we may have to bear the cost. After i checked online, i found that there were many vehicles with the same problem, which definitely raises a question on the reliability of skoda rapid cars. Worst is they don't say what is the root cause and how to prevent the same failure of other injectors and if in case it happens the cost of the replacing all injectors will go above rs1, 00, 000 which will make me think twice before purchasing any skoda or vw vehicle in future. I think this is a scam.in my opinion, this is a wrong design of injector for our country, which they are making us pay. Its a perfect case for a recall, but they are avoiding it. After a year of purchasing this car i have had this coil indicator blinking and when i go to service center i was told its fixed and the error has been removed, some software update. If they would have correctly diagnosed today maybe this problem wouldn't have occurred. As i said it seems to be a scam for me. I have raised a formal complaint to skoda india but no one contacted. I had to call them up every day and i was told it happens because it is a mechanical part and due to some fuel adulteration. So careless.

                                I have been seeking help from skoda india since last year and asking for proper assistance but non of the staff contacted me before 20th april2018 i have called to customer care more than a 50 times, emails more than50, several tweets and several times i have requested for a call back but no one has contacted me out to their negligence my car condition has deteriorate day by day but when i approached to social media for the first time skoda india representative has contacted me and told to me stop tweeting we will find a alternate solution since we don't have presence in your city. Snd just to keep on record they had visited the technician on 29 the but they can find the actual issues and return back after few hours. And my car remains as earlier. After emailing to skoda india ceo i haven't got a proper response now they are again sending their technician but before sending they are telling that we are not guarantee that we will find the issues after finding the issues also they will not fixed my car here we have to send it to kolkata but my question to skoda india where was your customer care head and representative for this many days and why your service center doesn't allow my car to the service center and after complaining against them wgat action you all have taken and why at that time you have arrange a service for me and for you negligence my engine compressor can be down who will be going to bear that cost if my engine compressor is down.
                                Stop fooling the customer. You need to work hard on service and customer care other the day will be soon you gave to shut down your business in india

                                  I have booked a skoda rapid on 31st Mar 2018 with Vinayak Skoda Marathalli Bangalore by paying 25000 INR. When I came know that the SA had made false promises and given false information about the discount I decided to cancel. On 2nd Apr 2018 I have sent a mail for the cancellation in reply I got that the refund will be done within 2 weeks.

                                  Its been more than a month now and I have not received the refund. Dealers account person and customer care making false promises every time. They had lied to me so many time. I have the entire mail and phone call record.

                                  How can skoda give dealership to such people, all online reviews are negative about them still you people are ignoring.

                                  Please look into this, I want my refund asap. Otherwise I will go by other means.

                                    में मनोज पाटीदार इंदौर मध्यप्रदेश का निवासी मेने स्कोडा रैपिड आटोमेटिक गाड़ी आपके डीलर सतगुरु मोटर से 28 फरवरी 2018 को खरीदी कुछ दिनों के बाद (15 अप्रैल 2018) (लगभग 3000 किलोमीटर )गाड़ी के इंजिन से तेल रिसने की समस्या आई मेरे द्वारा सर्विस सेंटर पर ले जाकर समस्या का हल निकालने के लिए बोला सर्विस सेंटर के अधिकारी द्वारा उसका निराकरण करने को कहा उन्होंने मुझे आस्वस्थ किया कि समस्या बहुत ही छोटी है हम आपको हम 3-4 दिन में ठीक करके दे देंगे लेकिन आज तारीख 09 मई 2018 तक ठीक नही हुई और सर्विष सेंटर वालो ने मेरी गाड़ी को पूरी तरह खोल कर रख दी जो कि मेरे लिए बहुत ही दयनीय है उस गाड़ी को देखने के बाद मेरी अब इच्छा नही है कि में उस गाड़ी को चलाऊ अतः स्कोडा कंपनी से निवेदन है कि उसके बदले में मुझे नाइ गाड़ी दी जाए या फिर मुझे मेरा जमा किया हुआ पैसा दिया जाए ताकि में दूसरी गाड़ी खरीद सकू अब में सिर्फ कंपनी को 48 घंटो का समय दे सकता हु उसके बाद में उपभोक्ता फोरम की शरण मे जाना पड़ेगा और कंपनी को लिगल नोटिस देने पड़ेगा अतः कंपनी से निवेदन है कि जल्द से जल्द मेरी समस्या का निराकरण करे
