I wanted to buy skoda superb (Cheaper than passat) but i got to know that there is no skoda showroom at my place (Allahabad), we have volkswagon showroom in my city i will better buy vw passat instead, you guys better close all your factories and run away from india because soon you will be forgotten, either you guys dont know how to do business in india or you guys kind of crazy.

    We are a corporate company, we have picked up the new skoda superb l&k my18 from mahavir dealership hyderabad, after payment of advance, we were given a commitment that we will be given a free 4 year maintenance package and the delivery in vizag, andhra pradesh. Clearly in the pro-forma invoice it was given skoda maintenance package and in amount column it was given 0. We have seen this and thought they have discounted the maintenance package and so the amount was zero. We have clearly asked them to put all the discussions we had on mail, inspite of repeated reminders and mails also we did not a mail from them. And due to the sudden increase in the gst cess they have hurried us for payment and we have released the payment in full immediately. Later on after they received payment they say they cannot deliver the car in vizag and they can do only in hyderabad. We have finally agreed to take the car in hyderabad, then they say they say there is no free maintenance package included and they also say they have never spoken about it.

    This is a very unprofessional way to deal with a corporate customer buying your top of the line car. We wanted to buy the kodiaq, but after looking at the way skoda is dealing with its customers dropped the idea of buying a skoda car ever again.

    Please learn to appoint professional dealers who can add value, we as a corporate customer did not have the satisfaction or a good experience with the way our delivery was done.

      I was on my way back from kaas plateau, satara, maharashtra to pune on october 01, 2017 when my car started giving some whistling sound when accelerated on 2nd and 5th gear. After some time, i felt a jerk in the car and i stopped the car. When i restarted the car, a sound started coming from the car and the gear was difficult to be moved. I moved the car in the side lane of the highway and then got my car towed to pune. I called the skoda breakdown assistance for assistance but i was informed that my roadside assistance package has expired and i ned to pay about 9500 rupees to get my car towed to pune which was about 80km away. I then got my car towed all the way to pune through a private crane service which cost me 6000/- rupees. I drooped the car at the skoda service centre in baner, pune and handed over the car to the security manager
      Next day was october 02, 2017 which was a holiday and the service centre was closed. I visited the centre and talked over to floor manager. As i am based in mumbai so i returned to mumbai on october 02, 2017.
      After that the next day, october 03, the service center people said that they have huge pile up today due to holidays so they could not see my car. The floor manager confirmed to me that they have physically checked the car and there was no physical damage. The next day on october 04, i got a sms that my car has been received in the service centre.in the evening i called again and it was conveyed that they are analyzing the problem and they will let me know.
      On october 05, service adviser was appointed. I was told that the analysis is going on and they are not able to figure out what is the problem and they have sent photos to skoda india for guidance.
      On october 06, i was told that the problem is in gear box. Apparently, the clutch plate and pressure plates were replaced in autobahn skoda service centre, sewri mumbai some 3 months back. They said that the problem has arisen due to faulty replacement of the clutch plate and the pressure plates and they are in talks with the sewri workshop. The jack on the clutch plate and pressure plate has come out and has broken the gear box and caused oil spill which has resulted in the problem.
      On october 07, i again inquired then they said that the dealer will bear the cost of replacement which will be around 4 lakhs and i have not to pay anything as the dealer will bear the cost and i will be updated on monday about the same.
      On october 09, when i called again, i was told that they have got no response from sewri service centre and they are awaiting same and their mails have also not been responded.
      October 10, also i did not received any satisfactory reply from the service centre and i was told that the sewri manager have not replied.
      October 11, i again called the service centre. The service centre manager told me that the gear box needs to be replaced and the cost would be around 3.90 lakhs. I asked regarding the expenses being born by the dealer. He said that since the car has run about 4900 kms after the repair work hence the same cannot be said about the clutch plate repair work problem. They said that what is best possible they will let me know. My car is in extended warranty and they said it is third party insurance so they have to see what is covered and what can be done for it and i will be updated after 2 days.
      I am writing it here due to the fact is that i am at all not satisfied with the replies. I am just wondering that when skoda handed me over the new car then there was no such issue of any part of the clutch plate coming out and damaging the gear box even when the car ran about 22000 kms. This problem has arisen only after about 5000 kms when the clutch plate was changed by the service centre 3 months back. It means that the work was not done satisfactorily.
      As an aggrieved customer, i would like you to please pursue my issue on a priority basis as i am facing these hardships without any fault of mine. Skoda is a world renowned name and such instances will only mar the reputation of the company. I have already mailed to customer care at skoda and also raised the concern on their on-line portal but i have not received any response. I request skoda to look into the case and help me out of this situation.

      My car is in extended warranty. I also request you to provide me with a replacement vehicle for the time-being until my car is not repaired as i have to daily shell out about 1000 rupees towards taxi fares. Also the inconvenience part is huge.in the midst of a dark night i have to get my car towed alone with my wife. Then i have to come back to mumbai by bus and shell out extra money without any fault. I have maintained my car well and also i have taken amc with autobahn. These things are not acceptable. I request you to immediately get my car repaired and provide me with a replacement vehicle and reimburse my overhead expenses due to the poor service quality of your dealers.

        My car skoda yeti regn no ka 01 mp 8191. I have had issues on ac functioning from the day 1. A year ago they repaired at free of cost. It worked well for a while and again no ac. Now service centre has asked me to replace the compressor and the full repair cost will be around rs 85000. Since it is a manufacturing defect, skoda should bear the entire cost.

          I purchased a skoda superb from arshia motors, new delhi in 2010 registration number dl 1cn 1200.

          Shortly after we purchased the vehicle, it has been creating problems and been sent to m/s arshia motors and m/s jai auto, new delhi for all service related issues and after sales support.

          On two occasions, the megatronic part went faulty and has been changed twice (And it was conveyed to us that, our particular model (Petrol) has a faulty megatronic part problem and software issue by arshia motors and jai auto).

          On the first instance the megatronic part went faulty in the middle of duala kuan road, new delhi at mid night in between extremely high traffic and on making several repeated calls to arshia motors and skoda helpline no road side assistance was provided to us. I alone had to manage to get the car on the road side as the car was stalled and had to arrange and pay for the crane charges. On our repeated communication and requesting, it took arshia motors 36 days to get the approval to replace the megatronic part and i was left without a vehicle.

          On the second instance the megatronic part went faulty on aurobindo road, new delhi late evening in between heavy traffic and again like first time no road side assistance was provided to us by the dealer or skoda and i again had to arrange and pay for the crane charges. I was given an estimate of rs. 3, 75, 000/- plus labour plus taxes for the same part. On repeated follow ups and requests it took skoda 3 weeks for getting the approval for replacing the megatronic second time and again i was without a vehicle. I was harassed by skoda india and arshia motors for nearly 2 months without a vehicle for a part that is faulty in this model and is a manufacturing defect without any roadside assistance or support for a vehicle on which i have spent rs. 22, 00, 000/- (Approx.) rupees twenty two lacs.

          The air conditioning condenser and other parts also went faulty because of which i had to use the vehicle without air conditioning in delhi’s peak summer and after sending the car to jai auto the replacement of parts took one week time.

          On another occasion the fuel injector/ pump went faulty and was also changed by jai auto and our car was with them at their workshop for a week.

          On another occasion recently the control unit for pet was changed by jai auto, mohan co-operative industrial estate new delhi. This process took 2 weeks for replacement of part and i was once again left without a vehicle. The part costed us an exorbitant of rs. 124, 192/ - which was later told to us by another dealer of skoda that the same part is a non - failure item and should have been replaced free of cost, also i was conveyed it could have been re-programmed and installed but jai auto who has no business ethics and integrity, and just to make money, replaced the part and penalized us for the same like every other time.

          Fyi - the vehicle was also serviced at this point at jai auto, since it was due along with the replacement of ecm part and the unethical employees of jai auto are conveying to me now in their last email that my vehicle is 10 months overdue for service. It is not my fault as a customer if jai auto does not update their records of my service and they are doing it purposely to fleece the customer (Me).

          Most recently on september 15, 2017 i drove my car to jai auto in a smooth running condition, only because the yellow sensor light was appearing. The computer of jai auto showed that the came sensor and crank sensor timing was out and this was personally witnessed by myself. I requested jai auto to kindly adjust/ correct the timing of came sensor and crank sensor which was purposely not done by jai auto and they insisted on opening the head of the engine of my vehicle.

          Jai auto opened the head of my car without my consent/ approval and it is on record in my email where i have clearly stated to them that i will not pay for any diagnosis or repair for this vehicle since i have been fleeced by them on several occasions.

          Jai auto has opened the head of my vehicle and has tampered with the engine of vehicle of which i have no knowledge. I had very clearly stated to jai auto that this fault will be repaired free of cost and i will not pay for anything whatsoever.in case they cannot repair my vehicle free of cost they should not have gone ahead and opened the head of the engine of my vehicle as i had not given approval for the same.

          Service manager of jai auto on september 29th, 2017 after 2 weeks informed us verbally on phone that some chain is broken and repair work and parts replacement is required within the engine and the estimate of repairing my car is rs.4, 90, 000/- + tax and + labour which is not acceptable to me. This information is a clear lies and false, since if this part was broken within the engine head my car wouldn’t have been running smoothly which was witnessed by the employees of jai auto at the time they received the vehicle and also i have a copy of the report at the time of receiving the vehicle which shows no such problem when the vehicle was handed over to them.

          Also, the fact of the matter is that this is a manufacturing defect in my car and it’s a non failure part for which i am being penalized and harassed by jai auto and its employees by trying to once again placing their customer in a helpless situation and blackmailing to pay for the same since the vehicle now is in stationary condition like it happened at the time of the replacement of the control unit for pet and other parts which they replaced before.

          Service staff of jai auto are totally uncooperative and kind of attitude they have displayed to me (Customer) is totally unacceptable. I really dont know that in this last one month which other parts they must have tempered with.

          Also an extremely surprising statement by skoda india after my car is with them for almost a month is that my vehicle is 7 years old and has done 92, 000 kms so this problem has occurred. This means that the life of the engine of a skoda vehicle is just 7 years or 92, 000 kms (Which means i should not expect any re-sale). Prospective buyers of a skoda vehicle must keep this in mind.

          I have several other family and friends who have been cheated by jai auto and are willing to take a suitable action against them along with me.

          Never expected a volkswagen group brand to treat and fleece their customers like this. Poor and shameful skoda india!

            I bought the car on[protected] as per dealer record. Warranty of the car is for 2 years from the date of purchase. But my car is in warranty jus for 22 months. I have a lag of 2 months. Pls rectify and do the needful.

              Dear sir, i have become victim of terrible after sale service provided by jia auto (Kolkata). They are just looting my pocket with new new tricks. I have a skoda fabia, veichale no wb 20z6684 paid a visit to the service station for fixing the air conditioner of my car. Mr. Prasenjit (Technical advisior) advised to make some changes ; i allowed him to pursue. It costed me 24 k. Surprisingly the rectification was not even lasted for 7 days. Now they are telling me to bring my car to recheck up. The distance between my place & service centre is more than 50 km. I need to drive more than 100 km. It will cost me time & money as car doesn't run on water. I don't have any inkling how the same issue happenes to be taken place after the rectification. Either they are doing in intentionally or the technicians are not trained. Money doesn't come in charity, it's hard earned.. I want a justification & remuneration of my expenses which has become meaningless

One month completed and still my car is standing in center for maintainance purpose. Officials said "parts of cars not receiving from company in time, due to company warehouse shifting to bangalore"

                  I have bought skoda rapid style plus 1.5 tdi cr at in march 2016. Since the date i have bought, i am continuously facing one or other issue with the vehicle. Vehicle must have gone to service center 10 times from the date of purchase
                  - first time the rear glass was broken of it's own and service engineer also was not able to explain what could be the reason.
                  - some software problem came and ac stopped working
                  - replaced rear glass came out of it;s own again and service engineer again was blank and has no explanation or reason, what said it might be fixed properly
                  - rat bite in car
                  - gone for servicing
                  - again rat bite in car
                  - within 3 days after coming from service centre, car was not starting. I called the service engineer and he asked me to approach rsa. I got rsa support in 3 hours. Guy came and started my car with alternate battery and asked me to run for 4-5 kms and it will be fine.
                  - next day morning again car was not starting, after 2 days service engineer picked the call and said that you battery might have worn out. When i asked for warranty, he said warranty for battery was only for 1 year.

                  I called to rsa to register the complain and the call center guy informed that the vehicle is registered in name of some prateek gandhi. And refused to take the complaint.

                  This is the high time now and i am completely fed-up with the pathetic performance of the vehicle and service support.

                  I am surprised to see such performance of a skoda vehicle now feel like cheated after buying this.

                  Missed to mention that even the sales accessories committed at the time of sale was not given with delivery.

                  Want to get in touch with some senior executive of skoda to resolve all this for all.

                  I have bought the vehicle from Autobahn Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., Andheri West, Mumbai.

                  And every time vehicle has gone to Autobahn Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., Goregaon East, Mumbai service center.

                  Below is the details with people I have dealt with

                  1. Sales Rep at the time of buying the vehicle: Niketu Desai
                  2. First 2-3 times at Goregaon Service Center: Aniket[protected]
                  3. From last couple of times in Goregaon Service Center: Anuj( [protected]/[protected])
                  4. Service executive at Goregaon Service Center to whom I have escalated the issue but didn't received any positive response rather fake statements: Farooq Syed([protected]) - He even didn't shown the courtesy to call and understand the conern.
                  5. Sales person of Autobahn Andheri to whom I have escalated the issue and dropped email as well but he too has not reverted back and stopped picking the call: Bikash Pandey([protected])

                  It's been 10 days now my vehicle is standing in non-running condition but no one from SKODA is bothered to resolve the problem.

                  Day by day I am losing my confidence in the service levels of SKODA!!

                    Most useless and shamless people working at skoda. And worst car i have ever seen.
                    4 times in 6 years there is a megatronic failure. This useless car stops in the middle of the road. Have to arrange for a trailer to get it picked. Waste money and time standing in the road.

                    Then you have useless service centres like jai skoda in new delhi who keep the car for more than 20 days. After confirming when we reach the work shop, we are told that car is still having problems (After waiting for 3 hrs)

                    Really shameless people working at useless company called skoda

                      My skoda rapid was baught in september 2015, it also has 3 year extended warranty. Today my car wasn't starting. I called up service centre, they told me the battery has worn out. But they also told me that "battery is not covered in the warranty".
                      Also isn't it too early for a skoda bettery to worn out. Given the fact that it has been just 2 years.

                        Hi this is reagarding my rapid at purchased 2 years back gurgaon - hr26 - 2001. While giving my car for regular servicing - mr. Nikhil damaged my cars steering. 2 days after servicing car has to be towed for 200 km for faulty engine. Car given after 45 days - and after 7 days taken back for steering problem. After 3 months - returned same car due to unavailablity of part. 2 days hence - engine got damaged again.

                          Purchased new skoda octavia during march, 2014. Since then there have been issues which have been resolved by skoda from time to time. However, the ac issue has not yet been resolved. Each year at the beginning of summer season, the cooling coil is found to be defective and has to be replaced.
                          This time too, the coil has stopped functioning resulting in ineffective ac. Within 4 years of purchase of the car, the cooling coil will be replaced for the 4th time. Though the coils have been replaced free of cost and i believe that this time also it will be replaced free, but i am worried that after the expiry of 4 year's extended warranty, i will have to pay huge replacement cost year after year.
                          Skoda is requested to look into the matter and offer permanent solution to the problem.

                            Hi,

                            This is the case of very irresponsible and negligence act taken by skoda viiraaj service center, baner, pune after informing each circumstances and issues by me as a customer about the car up 14 bp 3800.

                            There was the issue of coolant leakage in my car for which i contacted viiraaj skoda baner, pune and handover my car to them (Mr datta - [protected]) on 12th-september-2017 for the replace/change of coolant pump along with the paid regular service too.

                            I specially informed them/him along with coolant issue and paid service that, please do check timing belt and alternator belt and see, there should not be any issue in them and if you found any issue in either of them, then please replace it with the new one.

                            They took below actions :
                            1. New coolant pump got installed.
                            2. New alternator belt got installed.
                            3. Paid service was done.
                            4. No issue found in timing belt, as per their statement.
                            5. My car was handover to me on 17th-sep-2017.

                            Now, the problem get started on 30-sep-2017, i was driving with family from pune to ganpatipule and in between my car was broken down near by karad due to breakage of timing belt in running. I called skoda customer care assistant service they provided me below services thanks to that.
                            1. Send the car towing machine and took my car near to kolhapur skoda service center.
                            2. I requested for cab service, however cab driver did not turn up in given eta of 135 mins from @4:15 pm and it was getting late for me, so i took my own cab @6:15 pm.

                            Today, 1st-october-2017, i spoke to wasim ([protected]) advisor in kolhapur service center, he said he will be checking my car and he said that there could be the possibility of below things :
                            1. Breaking of timing belt.
                            2. Engine head and valve breakages.

                            I hope you understand that how much of pain and suffering my family went through. It's totally inappropriate, irresponsible and negligence act and behavior done by viiraaj skoda baner, pune. If they would had checked my timing belt
                            As i requested by me, then my family and i would had not faced these problems.

                            Also, seeing all this, skoda cab assistance did not turn up in time, as i was with my family in a middle of highway, a kind of village and we can not wait for cab till 8-9 pm, so we thought of taking own cab as per security reasons.

                            Kindly take an immediate impactful and action in
                            Resolving all of my car's issues as soon as possible also apart from this i request you to please provide me cab facility from my current location ganpatipule to my home, pune as you were not able to provide the cab facility when it was required.

                            I hope you will understand as this kind of services given by viiraaj skoda seriously brings down the name of renowned skoda.

                            Note : i would not bear any charges in resolving my car's issue.

                            Thanks for the reply and understanding my concerns.

                            I would like to update you that Madhuri(Viiraaj Skoda Baner, Pune) had replied stating that "I requested them to check Timing Belt and as per their diagnosis they found it OK, which is totally illogical. As this is a mechanical thing which significantly shows it's wear & tear conditions.

                            The timing belt can not be broken in any case like this, as it was changed on 90000 KM as per schedule and car is only 111198 KM, driven till now, So there no possibility of breaking of it in 20000 KM
                            As per Skoda India statement (also Shrine Automobiles said ) : If we are changing the Water Pump of car, then it is always mandatory to change the Timing Belt too, still Viiraaj Skoda did not change it.
                            As per Shrine Service Center update ; currently Engine Rocker and Engine Valve had been damaged, now they are diagnosing Engine Head and other parts of Engine and this all happened because of Timing Belt breakage.

                            So this is a clear indication of Negligence Service provided by Viiraaj Skoda and they have to bear all consequences of this, as I will not take any action item on me, as I already gone through life risk of my family and mine, which some how we survived because this incident did not happened in high speed or on 4 Lane highway or on Mountains roads which might had caused serious injuries to my family.

                            Putting below some questions to be answered along with some additional points.

                            1. If some mishappening or accident would had happened, then who was the responsible for that, as I was travelling with my family and was on highway ?
                            2. My family and me was put into Life risk, which could had caused a serious consequences if this would had happened on 4 Lane Highway or Mountain Roads.
                            3. Why did not my TIMING BELT was changed when I specifically requested to check it and replace it with the new one ?
                            4. TIMING BELT broke in running, the Engine gets jammed and there was the possibility of Accident.
                            5. Timing Belt was changed on 90000 kms and currently my car is running at 111198.
                            6. On 17th-Sep-2017, I received my car with the paid service done, Alternator Belt changed, Coolant Pump changed and Timing belt not changed as it was fine (stated by the Viiraaj Skoda Service Center).

                            My car is currently with Shrine Automobiles, Kolhapur because when car was broken down, I called Skoda Road Assistance Service and they towed my car to the nearest point, so please contact with Shrine Automobiles for any further update on my car status.

                            This is the case of very irresponsible and negligence act taken by Skoda Viiraaj Service Center, Baner, Pune after informing each circumstances and issues by me as a customer about the car UP 14 BP 3800.

                              As brand well known and reputation in the market, as well as recommendations of some skoda owner i purchased the skoda rapid in february 2016 from jmd navi mumbai. I have four years extended warranty.in 16 months and of 12000km. The battery was not charging.
                              I speak with many people but for such low life of battery they surprised.
                              How skoda play such a dirty trick to the customer to change the battery bellow the average life of battery.?
                              Please need some explanation from skoda india???

                                Purchased skoda rapid top end in june 2016 spending 1.5 million rupees, after 5 months the company made a software update to my car and then on the vehicle is sounding like a old truck, lot of engine noise. I complained to the dealer and workshop repeatedly but with out any proper solution. Nothing has changed at skoda they just do not bother about customers after sales. Just getting sick of d noise

                                  Gear shift problem after 40 days not received my car. Will not take this faulty car back. I[censored] cant resolve the problem in this car in 40 days will be major problem, if not i will go in media & court. This is reg my car up 80 dn 8222. Very upset now with shiel venture, agra & skoda india both, so refund my payment or give new car. Hope for resolution soon otherwise will take legal action

                                      I have booked skoda monte carlo edition from your jalandhar showroom on 11/09/2017.. I was assured it's delivery on 22/09/2017 but they were not able to deliver because of some misunderstanding and the vehicle was still in transition. I travelled long way to get the delivery but i was informed that the showroom people got confused and there was some another car which got them confused with my car. Now it will be deliver after 28/09/2017. I have already made the whole payment on 21/09/2017. Due to some technical problem they were also not able to do the billing. I have financed the vehicle and now bank is asking for invoice and documents. I have been asking them for the engine number chassis number and vin of the vehicle for the past 3 days which they are also not able to provide me. I have to update the same with the bank where i have financed it. I request you to kindly look into the matter and confirm whether the billing is done from the dealer. I have been really disappointed with the service from skoda india team.

                                        I have booked a skoda superb car (L and k variant) on 22/9/17 and paid inr 5 lakhs as boking amount. I was assured (At least 4 times) that the color, make and model is available with them as the car is standing in their yard. They promised me for the physical verification at their showroom on next day. They have issued the performa invoice and booking conformation letter immediately.
                                        On third day when my banker was about to do rtgs, i have again inquired about the car. Now they say the car is not available as per bookings. No reasons were given but they returned the check. I had word with skoda relationship center and complained about it. The promised for a call back and necessary action.
                                        Now nothing has happened since then.
                                        The dealer (Jai auto, delhi ncr) i came to know is notorious for this behavior. There modus operandi is to somehow allure the customer and when he is about to/ paid the sum, then talk of other model/ variant. I don’t know that such unethical behavior is a norm in skoda company. Is anybody listening?
