Hello skoda,

I am writing this email after being tired of contacting the tafe access dealership multiple times on phone and emails. I have serious concerns with defective car delivery, false promises, and errors in rc and insurance copies, etc. The below is the email that i had sent after numerous calls to the dealership.

The below is the email that i had sent on 27 november, 2017. I have sent another email now copying the customer care email address. It is early hours and i couldn't sleep with the kind of service that i received from the dealership.

Hello russel,

After our phone conversation on november 6, 2017, november 24, 2017 and today (November 27, 2017), i am writing all my concerns as you had requested this afternoon. I hope you would correct all of my concerns quickly.

For your reference, the executives involved in selling the car to me are:
The sales executive: mr. Naveen
The sales lead: mr. Deepak

Vehicle registration number: ka 01 mq 7022

Issue 1) the power windows are not working as they are supposed to:

The power windows did not work at the time of delivery. Mr. Naveen and the technical guy adjusted the windows to open & close at that time and they told the anti-pinch will be adjusted after using for 2-3 days which is not the case till now (Approximately a month now). As per our conversation on november 6, 2017, you had promised to send a technician to my residence within 5 days but no one turned up till now. Please correct the issue asap.

Issue 2) my name was wrongly spelled on rc and insurance copies even after i provided the supporting documents (Pan card, aadhaar, and dl copies) and which i have been following up with naveen and deepak. They said that will be taken care but i am not sure about the seriousness. The insurance person from tata aig told that he will take care for the insurance copy within 24 hours. Please correct the rc part from your end.

I am attaching my dl copy once again for your reference.

Issue 3) the pms package starting date is october 15, 2017 while the vehicle registration date was october 27, 2017 and i had taken delivery on october 30, 2017. Though i am not worried much about this issue, please correct it if possible.

Issue 4) there was a promise that a car cover will be given to me within 5 days from the date of delivery. Mr. Naveen told that he will need to complete an approval process and as it was month-end (October 30, 2017), he told he will handover all the required documents at my residence. I did not see him till today and the documents which i received are only invoice copy, car manual, and the pms package (Thru courier).

Issue 5) i also reported to mr. Naveen and mr. Deepak that there is a lag in 1st and reverse gears.

The problem is that i have been asked to explain the issues everytime i call which indicates there is seriousness or attention paid towards the problems reported by me.

As all these issues arised at the time of the delivery, i am expecting a resolution for all these after sales concerns.

If issues arise in future, i will definitely visit the service center instead of the sales team.

    Dear sir am one customer of skoda car and misguided by one showroom at bhubaneswar who is dealing with skoda cars in odisha named mahavir auto diagnostics pvt ltd for which i pray in front court of law in my province area and received kind order by the honorable court and sent the same order/instruction to the showroom but they are not responding till date. This for your kind information that 1st order has been issued on the month of march 2016, again one more court of contempt order also issued in 24.11.2017 after not responding by the skoda dealer in my area at bhubaneswar, odisha of 1st order, this is to inform you that i dont know whether the skoda india is aware of the order by the respective dealers or not.

    I hope and wish to get my car back at the earliest with your kind help with good running condition.

      I have purchased skoda rapid 1.6 tdi elegance in july 2012 which clocked 32000 km only.
      Suddenly a sign on dash was blinking & then car was jerking, so i towed it to service centre in kolhapur.
      After inspection they said that one (No. 4) fuel injector is failed & it much be replace, cost is rs. 23000. I have replaced it.
      But my question is how the part like fuel injector is failed in more 32000 kms.
      It should be skoda 's responsibility to replace fautly party free of cost.

        I have purchased the car SKODA Rapid ( TN07 CK 3322) in Gurudev Motors on May 2017 . they promised 4 years free warranty service .. i dont have any issues in other cars like what i have faced in skoda rapid.. I have driven the car not even 1 feet water . Due to that incident fly wheel is faulted.. When i questioned them with service centre. They said i cannot drive the car more than 1 feet of water since skoda automatic came with the DEFECT that we cannot drive in very low water level too .

        Just thought of owning a skoda rapid 1.5 TDI Ambition 2018 Model. But after seeing such pathetic after sales service I have changed my mind.

        No peace of mind I guess!

        Also there should be an written confirmation from customer to his/her satisfaction level to close this complaint, but skoda India had just given a basic reply to customer complaint and closed the complaint in this comsumer portal.

          Dear sir

          Car returned to dealer!!! Will not take back without tyre change!!! New car bought just 3 months before, in 3 months 3 tyre burst!!!

          1st day when bought the car tyre burst in tirupur at 9.30 pm, 2 nd tyre burst in 2nd month in guruvayur at midnight 1 am, 3 tyre burst in3 month in annur at 11 pm, mrf tyre very poor quality, not safety getting afraid to travel,
          No one is giving response either skoda company or dealer...

          If this problem not solved in two days i will go to consumer court till that i don’t take delivery...

            My vehicle no mh12hn4855 started showing trouble while driving on 29/11/2017 it had been then towed to viraj skoda, sakhar sankul, shivaji nagar, pune service centre. After primary diagnosis the service centre said it could be due to fault in fuel injector as "emission and coil" indicator was blinking. They provided me with basic assistance receipt for my vehicle. My vehicle was diagnosed further for almost 2-3 days and i was informed that there is some fault with fuel injector no3 and been asked to pay in advanced rs21000/- towards the same. I am really shocked to know when the vehicle from such a good brand having been known as sturdy vehicle can have issues related to fuel injector, besides i'm i am not sure that if i replace one injector there won't irrupt same issue in other injectors also. What if the issue irrupt again? I purchased the vehicle in 2012 from asset auto, pune and its hardly been 5 years. After checking online i found that the same issue is faced by many vehicles purchased around the same period. If this is the company's basic fault with the vehicle why should i be bearing the cost for it. Besides i think its unreliable to suggest this brand to anybody if such issues are going to irrupt. Please get my issue resolved as fast as possible as i find the issue charged too extravagantly. We never expected that problem will arise in engine as skoda is known for its best engine quality

              I got my skoda fabia in 2011 and had driven about 25k till sep2016, when the service advisers suggested replacement of clutch as i was facing issues with the rpm meter shooting up and the car not moving properly even on 2nd gear.

              Again on october 31, 2017, i had my service this year without any major issues. But two weeks later i started facing issues similar to last year. Now when i took it to the skoda service centre, they suggest that the clutch again needs to be replaced. I do not understand how can a clutch be damaged within an year or within

                Please note, this is nallathambi-[protected] from tirupur, i have bought new rapid car by september 1st week, my car no. Tn39cd811, very first day while i come back from temple after pooja, front passenger side tyre got burst in that time i was traveling with my family, i informed you all and came to salem, they said tyre stone hit will not cover warranty so 1st time i paid amount n bought new tyre, again after 20 days tyre got burst same problem while i was going to guruvayur temple near trissur - kerala on 1.10.16, mid night 12 o'clock, it was raining, i called customer care and no one was helping me till morning 4 am,
                3ed time again tyre burst on 2.12.17 at mid night 12.30..in 3 months 3 tyre gone!!!

                My car no. Tn39cd811, we bought rapid by september 1st week through s7 cars salem,
                In this 3 months 3 times tyre busted they shown in test drive with apollo tyre but given me mrf tyre given many complaints to dealer but no response i hand over my car to dealer please change all 5 tyre to apollo tyre untill that i wont take car i can not change tyre every month

                  Since early august 2017, there are no service centres in kolkata for skoda vehicles.
                  My skoda yeti is overdue for service and i just cannot get it serviced because there is no service centre. Moreover, there is also no way i can get any genuine spare parts in kolkata.
                  This is a breach of service and skoda is accountable for not ensuring presence of a service centre at kolkata, especially after having sold their vehicles. There are other owners also who have been left in a similar plight.
                  My vehicle is getting degraded due to this lack of service and i cannot do anything about this because skoda has not opened a service centre.

On calling them they refused to take my vehicle because they do not have spare parts. In the meantime my vehicle continues to get degraded due to lack of service since Aug 2017.                   I have also contacted your customer care and they have put me on to the following-

                  Your website also does not list any authorised service centre in Kolkata.

                  Whenever I call them, they say they are unable to service the vehicle because they do not have spare parts; and this is going on since August 2017.

                  I simply do not understand what is going on. You may please be advised that during purchase you had promised to provide seamless and regular service and the same has not happened since Aug 2017, causing 'unknown' damages to my vehicle.

                    My car has been regularly serviced at authorized skoda service only, last service done on oct 7, 2017. Day before while driving felt sudden vibration and loss of power. Also glow plug indication was flashing on dash board. Immediately stopped the car and got it towed to skoda service station. They say one of the fuel injectors needs to be replaced, costing about 30000/-. Have read about similar fuel injection problems with skoda rapid manufactured in 2012 and the company recalling the cars for injector replacements. Kindly help

                      We were on a trip to chitoor from bangalore which is 200km approx while returning the fuel injector failed at ambur and we got stranded on the road as there is no 24/7 help line available. The next morning we took it to a local mechanic who scanned the vehicle and said the injector failed. He said we can drive slowly and reach bangalore after we reached bangalore we took it to the skoda service center near kudlu gate and enquired about the price and it came to us as a shocker as the cost was 30k with labour charges. Earlier i had a for and met with a similar problem and it just took 2.5k need to think twice before buying skoda.

                        Dear sir, my skoda rapid reg. No. Up 16az 8494, unfortunately met with an accident on 17th aug. I got the car towed to nawab motors in noida (Only dealer and workshop for skoda in noida). Nawab motors first gave an estimate of around 6.5 lakhs for repair on 23rd oct. 2017 on which insurance company (Bajaj allianz) gave approval for go ahead for repair. On constantly following up they kept saying to me that full diagnostics have been run and car is getting repaired and will be delivered in 3-4 weeks time. On 15th oct. When i asked about delivery of my car nawab motors replied that the engineers who were looking after repair of my car have left nawab motors and i was given contact of a new person. I immediately rushed to the bodyshop to see the status of my car's repair and found that the car was still parked outside the workshop and found that nothing had been done on it. When i complained about it to their gm they started working on it and to my surprise on 4th nov they generated supplementary estimate of another 6.5 lakhs and shared with insurer. When i asked for photographs and videos of the new identified damages, they did not show me and said these are shared with insurance company. The insurance company has now changed the stance and is now offering me total damage cost which would mean a huge loss to me. Meanwhile one of the engineers from nawab motors had called me and said that car can be repaired out of insurance in much less amount and i should get it repair outside with their recommendation. I have full doubts that there is some conspiracy done by nawab motors to gain profit out of me and my car and they are forging the document and cheating me. Please can you arrange to look into this case and help me out in this fraud and cheating being done by nawab motors with me. Thanking you dr. Sushmita sharma

                          Dear skoda,

                          I have purchased a skoda rapid from pinnacle skoda on august 2017.

                          I have faced an issue in the fuel pump three months back after purchase and had done 9500km. I have contacted the the service center they have told me to replace the fuel line kit, fuel pump, and noziles which would cost arround 250000/-.

                          They have told me that the car does'nt have any water seperators and my cars warning lights where not functioning at the time of break down.

                          By giving the company such a huge amount of money and they are not giving the right quality product..

                            My complaint is that i have requested 1month ago about my right side mirror cap which is still not available at your haldwani centre.
                            Every time i used to call, they just used to reply that they have requested for that part and request me to call after 4days.
                            But again they used to give same excuse by saying that we are still waiting for that part and they have costly part worth of 2000 amt.

                            I requested them to provide me cheaper part which you guys provided me last time. Iam satisfied from that product.

                            Iam still waiting for that part since 1month. Please provide me that part as soon as possible and stop making customer fool by saying we have placed our order everytime.

                              I have purchased Skoda Superb from SAGAR AUTOTECH JABALPUR Pvt. Ltd. Dealer of Skoda on March 2017, SUPERB 2.0 TDI STYLE AT, Brown Color with Chassis No. TMBBKFNP9GA301057 and Engine No. CRG001828.Unfortunately from the day I have purchased the car with lots of hopes and spending my hard earn money, I’m facing issues every coming day and the icing on the cake is that the dealer is not able to rectify the problems and his behavior is very rude when ever I register my problem.

                              The car is having so many problems and for which I have sent the car to the Dealer numbers of times to solve it (Details can be obtain from the database of the dealer regarding the same). Noise is coming from the cabin of the car and even after sending the car so many times, the dealer is not able to diagnose from where the noise is coming and return the car after keeping it for a day or two without solving it. And the noise is still there after months of complaints. Yesterday (22 Nov 2017) I got my vehicle back after 3 days but again the noise is there. There is some noise coming from the sunroof motor and they are not able to diagnose that also. Fog is coming on the right hand side headlight of the car and when I complaint regarding the same to the dealer(Pictures Attached), the dealer tried to misguide me and came up with a silly excuse that this happens and this is normal. Well this is not my first car and I know what is normal and what is not. My car met with an accident and coz of that the right hand side of the car faced some dents and scratches. The paint job done was really pathetic and seems its is done by a layman or a kid but surely not by a professional because it had hell lot of dots and flowing paint drops on the body of the car (Pictures attached of the same)

                              The wrost part is that the dealer of SAGAR AUTOTECH, JABALPUR really has no manners and is very rude. He should be given training on how to talk to customers. I have spent lakhs on the car not to hear such words and beg for my problem to get solved.
                              I bought the car with lot of hopes and desires to enjoy the features, functions and as well the luxury of car, not to face such problems and insult from the dealer.

                              I have also complaint regarding the same to the customer care[protected] two three times (Details can be obtain from your customer care Dept). I was given a lot of assurance from there also but no results. Then I even called up the ASM Skoda Mr JAY KORADIA on 20 Nov 2017 and even on 22 Nov but again no actions were taken and seems the ASM is also supporting the dealer in all this. Because of all this I m putting all this on social media so that even people should know the real face of Jabalpur Dealer and skoda.

                              Kindly look into the matter and get my problem solved because I m really tired of all this. Skoda is very big brand and has its name for after sales and service but this dealer is a black spot on the company's name.

                                I Bought new Skoda Rapid style AT on 06.11.2017 for a price of Rs 15.6 Lakhs from Gurudev Motors, Trichy. On 17.11.2017 I went to Coimbatore in my car which is around 250 km from Trichy . The car was driven only 500 km in odometer. while in Coimbatore i tried to start the car and suddenly it creates ignition problem and didnt start. The coil symbol the Instrument cluster started to blink. When i tried again, the same problem persists.I called the customer care by phone and i was directed to certain trouble shooting procedures and finally able to start the vehicle. However i saw the engine symbol and traction symbol stated to glow in the instrument cluster. finally i was told to bring the car to SGA cars for inspection. after thorough inspection and scanning i was told that there was some lose contact in the wiring and the same was fixed. I took back the car from garage. Next day when i stated the car to return to native, the car made the same problem in ignition. however i managed to bring the car to Trichy and made a complaint to customer care regarding the issue. my vehicle was towed to garage. The technical adviser spoke to me and told that they r on the job of identifying the defect. After lapse of 4 days i was told the, there may be problem in crankshaft sensor and after replacing it they have to check again. My vehicle has run only 825 km in odometer and having such technical issue to a brand new car totally unacceptable. Even though Skoda car is covered under warranty it is clear case of deficiency in service. I dont know what to do, either to take delivery of the car after fixing the technical issues or to demand for new car. valuable suggestions are solicited please

                                Just thought of owning a skoda rapid 1.5 TDI Ambition 2018 Model. But after seeing such pathetic after sales service I have changed my mind.

                                Also there should be an written confirmation from customer to his/her satisfaction level to close this complaint, but skoda India had just given a basic reply to

                                customer complaint and closed the complaint in this consumer portal.

                                No peace of mind I guess after purchasing Skoda!

                                  I am very old customer of skoda using rapid and superb currently. Me met with an accident while using rapid in last of october 2017 and i have given car for repairing to saga private limited workshop jaipur on 4th of november and they have given me date 11th of nov. On which they will handover me my car after repairing so i make call on 11th of nov. So they postponed it to 13th of nov. On 13th of nov. Postponed it for after 5days on 20th of nov. Again they were not having my car ready and repaired and they are not giving answer properly and now even not attending my call. Very poor service. My car registration no. Is up85az0100 which belongs to mathura up and from here jaipur has 5hrs running distance and from mathura 2 times i have reached to jaipur for my car but they didn’t handover me repaired car. Please look after it and handover my car till tomorrow..

                                      I got a call from skoda autobahn offering free service and updation of software ea189. To my surprice, the service person informs me that there is a defect in fuel injector no. 1 and 4 and it would cost rs 25000 each for replacement.
                                      I didn't face any problem while running the car. I have driven just 43000 kms in 5 yrs.

                                      Am really surprised and perplexed on this observation. Can skoda service team address this?
