I purchase skoda rapid in june 21 2017 and completed 2200km. And i am getting an average mileage only 13-14km which is very less and not expected from a diesel car. Please do the needful as the petrol cars nowdays giving more mileage than this in highways also i am not getting the promised milege i came once close to 17. Please consider this and expecting a call back

    My skoda laura car no. Gj12cd0137 has full serviced in ahmedabad service center on 28.07.17. I had changed full clutch plate set and other parts but previous 4 days our car has break down due to gear cylinder leakage and service center person is not any responding. Plz resolve this matter.

      I have purchased scoda rapid after having good experience with skoda octavia for 12 years. But the experience with rapid automatic has been terrible. The pickup is horrible, the engine raises rpm to 3500 when the gear shifts from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3. After several complaints to the service center and multiple trips the problem has not been solved and the service center has no clue what is going on. They keep telling the the software need to be changed and they do something but the problem has has not been solved. Its very annoying to drive the car. I would never recommend anyone nor take another chance with scoda. Terrible car and horrible service. Never expected this from scoda. The car now is equivalent to trash

      My skoda rapid car bearing number KA 03 MX 4963 had a breakdown and they diagnosed it as an ECU failure

      I had to pay for the part although I feel this should have been done under warranty I request that the amounts paid by me be refunded at the earliest

        I have purchased skoda rapid at 2012 so far it completed 75000km. I have replaced 2 injector already one in 2014 and another one in 2017, now 3rd injector gone.

        Since it is 5 year old vehicle, skoda asking me to pay rs 25000 now. I am not sure when will 4th injector will go away. I have asked them to do free of cost as it is injector manufacturing issue but no use. Please suggest me.

        Please dont buy skoda cars. Contact me at siva. [protected]@gmail.com if you guys faced same issue.

          Good Evening Sir,
          I have a Skoda Superb 2010 model and the registration number of my vehicle is WB 06C 5824.
          Sir, Actually I belong to a middle-class family background. I brought this car as it was low in cost in car of luxury version. I didn’t expect this much problems will exist in this car. I brought this car on March 28th, 2017. First the celling cloth came out then the gear box got jammed. I belong to Ranaghat which is bit far from the main city Kolkata therefore for towing the car I had to bring a vehicle from Kolkata which charged nearly 9000 just to drop my vehicle in Jia auto, Howrah.
          I’ve send my car for a servicing in Skoda service center in Howrah that is Jia Auto for the problem in gear shifting which got stuck and the parking light was blinking. The car was not in running condition as I could not shift the gear as it is DSG gear. I had a telephonic conversation with Mr. Bishwaroop Roy Chowdhury and he said it could be a mechatronics issue in the car, so you have to replace that. But when I gave my car in the service center they found that it didn’t have that problem at all. In fact, first, they told me that it is a gateway problem. And after the following day they said it has a wiring problem which has been solved and your car is been ready to be delivered out.
          As I am the 2nd owner of the vehicle and still didn’t even finish with my payment of the car. Even the amount of servicing was rupees 7, 773 which I paid and got delivered my car on 29th of July. After I brought my car back the next day it was working properly but on 31st of July again the same problem started with the car. I gave a call to Mr. Bishwaroop Roy and reported about the matter as it was not solved. He told that he will arrange a technician so that the vas machine could check where the problem is actually. But unfortunately, he didn’t do anything as my house is nearly 100 km’s from the service Centre and on top of that they didn’t even pick up my calls or messages for entire 2 weeks and even the feedback team gave me call but when I told her about this matter she promised to speak with the authority and give me a fruitful response but she also didn’t do anything. I am really very disappointed with the service of the company and the behavior of the company representative and now again saying me to tow down the vehicle there which could cost me more 9000 again and additional charges would be the service cost of the vehicle I don’t know how much and I couldn’t even take out a single penny as I took money from others just to get it repaired but now again facing problems as it was but still now I haven’t paid the money to the lenders yet.
          Please Sir, it’s my humble request if the company could take a positive step of doing a towing facility and repair my vehicle so that I can keep this as my dream of owning a luxury vehicle, as it’s my first second hand car. As I brought this car to enjoy the luxury and now becoming mad regarding my car. Please do something regarding my car.

            Unfortunately i had purchased fabia from skoda brand in 2014 regn no dl11ca 4180 with extended warranty from bajaj allianz. My fabia is standing at nawab motors (Noida) from 20 oct 2016 for replacement of e. G. R valve which is a manufacturing product failure issue in skoda brand. The dealership giving explanation that this part had failure due to delay in servicing of car. I have a technical data with me that vw group had replaced e. G. R in large number in india and worldwide due to product failure in their brands. I also know that vw group had stated replacing e. R. G under campaigns or recall action which state that they have manufacturing product failure issues in their brands like e. G. R, a/c compressor, mechtronic, fuel pump, water pump, flywheel cooling coil etc. I can also provide you technical reasons for failure of e. G. R in skoda which is not related to service schedule and data or number of replacement of e. G. R in year 2014, 2015 and 2016 under warranty in skoda. Recently in skoda yeti failure of e. G. R most common.
            In my views the motto of skoda should from simply clever to
            Simply clever to cheat customer
            Request from brand management please consider e. G. R under extended warranty.

              I have brought new skoda rapid in 2015 its not even 2 years old since i have brought this car after 2moths some of my car parts broke down i have repaired it and it was ok after few months some other parts was having problem and till now i am having problem with my car, every now and than one or the other parts is breaking down i think this skoda brand have no quality products . I think they repair scrap cars and selling it as brand new .

                  My car has faced a throttle control valve issue, i have been reporting the symptoms of this from last 9 to 12 months and right after my first service i have given a feedback stating the issue on pickup, ac issues and system hanging,,, these service ops guys had no idea what was the root cause. And now they say i have to 35 k to get it fixed...

                  They do not even have a proper knowledge to understand the sysmptoms and rectify the issue... And just check the system and then they say there is a failure...

                  I need to talk to the excilation matrix people pls get in-touch with me asap...

                    We Purchased Skoda Rapid Automatic ... Reg No GJ-01-RV-2992 on Date[protected] from Torque Auto Ahmedabad .
                    At the Time of Selling we were committed 1+3 Yrs Warranty by Mr SatyaPrakash but after the delivery its been 1 Yr and we are struggling to get the certificate from the Dealer .
                    All the Details are Discussed in details with Mr Arun Dubey who is perhaps the most busiest employee of the Corporate World so he can't even reply even if we have sent so many reminders on daily basis for last 10-12 days .
                    The Other Employees are also marked in the mail but unfortunately there is no reply till date .
                    Some other person did buy the same car at the same time period and he already got the warranty . The details can be shared if required .

                    Hope to get what we were committed by the dealer .

                        There was aproblem of rear window glass motor and switch
                        After two months of car purchased. Very soon i approched koodlu gate hosur road service centre to change it through warrenty. They said ok and i had taken car to service centre as per their instruction after reaching the service centre they said there was no stock then i came back that day, same had happend again twice like this.
                        Then at last mr koushik ph no [protected] service executive had instructed me to get car on 03/08/2017 as per his instruction i left car over ur service centre then he told it will be delivered on 04/08/2017. But he told me again the same reason there was no patr available and it may take one more day, and he sent one alternate car for me after ur company driver left that car it is not getting started ; (Alternate car).
                        Then after that his phone is switched off he had given mr naveen [protected] service manager i called him on 08/08/2017 morning around 10:30 he told he get back soon but till 3:00 no reply after that i have taken mr venkatapathi manager of service centre [protected] and spoken to him he also said the same but nw they all not responding to my call
                        Pls i[censored] can tell them to pick my call
                        And if not tell them to give my car as it is i will go to another service centre

                        But one thing they have kept my car from last 6 days i am feeling very bad on that irresponsible people and i think they r un fit to that job

                            I gave my skoda yeti 4*4 car for a service at secunderabad service centre of mahavir - skoda service center.
                            I forgot to take my goggles (Ray-ban) from over head drop down box which is meant for keeping cooling glasses or spectacles.
                            After the service was done and when i went for a long tour day before yesterday i found that the glasses were missing.
                            I reported the matter to the service manager mr. Naresh.

                              My rapid has been having many problems like the injector has been changed twice and again had the same problem and mysore ppl did not help and we're rather rude. When all this happend i had to hand over the vehical to a local mechanic as i could not move the vehical any where. Now the complaint has become regular and the vehical faces this problem after running around 500 kms. Now i need to change this vehical as it it 2012 model pls give me a gud advice about what to do and in which way skoda can help me.

                                I have a skoda superb automatic petrol variant. 2010
                                Had bought this car despite several people stating otherwise owing to problems with gear & engine troubles.

                                Had recently gone out for 20 days hence car was lying unused. Had ensured the car was covered with protective car cover.
                                On the fateful day had taken the car barely 200 meters when the engine would idle out & stop.
                                Tried restarting the car few times & had the same issue. Called up the official skoda service center & was told that the car needs to be sent to service center for investigation owing to engine issue.

                                Got the car delivered to service center on a flat bed tow van.

                                Was informed after a few days that the ecm has gotten spoilt owing to water seepage in it.
                                Surprising as it is that how can this part which lies right on top on the engine block & that too in a car which has been covered & kept have this issue.

                                Am now being told to fork out a lakh plus to get this repaired. Further am being told that only once this part is replaced will they be able to inform if any other part is faulty. Hence final estimate also cannot be provided by service team.
                                I fail to understand how within a span of 6 years plus a integral component such as this shuts down owing to moisture in a covered car.

                                I strongly feel this is highly unusual & a car now valued at under 6 lakhs, is this even worth the monies or effort.

                                The car is now sitting at the workshop for the past month or so. Even after asking them to confirm if this is the only part damaged have gotten no proper reply.

                                I would be wary & also tell others to be before buying another car from skoda.

                                  This problen seems to be a part of every skoda owner's life !! I faced this issue just last week and gave my car today for servicing and a solution to this issue, i am now being told that the injector has failed and it will cost me 24k !! I have no choice but to shell out as i dont know if skoda will accept their fault in it ???!!! I swear to never buy a skoda make again and will never ever advice anyone else as well !! Stay away from the brand to stay away from hefty bills !!

                                  I dont care if skoda doesn't take responsibility, i just want to warn our fellow Indians to not buy any Skoda product and understand that the company is actually running a racket in our country, we ahouls boycott the brand.

                                    I bought skoda rapid (Chasis number - tmbbufna7fg016410) in feb 2016 from nawab motors - noida. I bought it just a year back and it suddenly wasn't starting in the morning. I sent my car to the service centre (Nawab motors - noida) two days back. They told me the battery is not working and needs to be replaced. Firstly i was told they don't have battery in stock and have to wait for 4 days to be replaced and suddenly after a day i was told that "battery is not covered in the warranty". I want to know is it true that skoda doesn't cover battery in the warranty?

                                    Also isn't it too early for a skoda battery to stop working. Given the fact that it has been roughly a year and a half.

                                    I would also like to add up that there is a noise issue with steering wheel which has been reported to service center (Nawab motors - noida). I faced this issue just after first car service which happened just two months back. It is as clear case of negligence during the service of not greasing shocker bearing to stop noise.

                                    Moreover i was informed that you i can buy extended warranty in a time span of two years however presently i am told that i should have bought it in the first year of purchase itself which is not ethical at all as the information given was wrong. I am really pissed off with the whole episode of wrong information and delayed service.

                                    Hi Rajeev,

                                    Please let me know what solution you have received. I am facing the same problem and bought top model Skoda Rapid Style Plus AT in March 2016. I also got to know that battery has worn out in just 18 months. Skoda is asking to pay for it as battery is not covered under warranty.

                                    I am feeling same as you coz' I also went for Skoda even after people told me not to go for the same. Its almost 15 days but no one turned up!!

                                    I am having the same problem, I brought my car on Dec-14 and had this prob in Nov-16. They replaced the battery in the service center. Today again the battery drained and there was no indication or symptoms to this. It just suddenly stopped working. How long should i keep doing this ? Totally frustrated. Please do not buy this car. The service center people dont care at all.

                                      I had already issues regarding the sales person knowledge abt the car on 2nd day and complaint to the sales head mr pramod nimbhorkar but his response was that is perfectly normal. So i decieded to cancell my booking and they asked a cancellation of amt 1lac i was shocked so hd to go ahead and buy the car as a loved the car skoda but to my nightmare they did it again sales person mr deepak had no clue of the features of rain sensining wiper and audio system and worst was my deliver vehicle had a scrated headlamps both n i scrated tailamp and pen ink on my doors arm rest... I m really unhappy plz resolve this issue asap or elese plz return my money bcaus i really dont feel i like buying a vehicle in this condition after paying a handsome 25lacs

                                        Dear sir,
                                        I have booked new skoda on the advice of mr ahmed hussain of mahaveer skoda (Somajiguda) well before launch i. E 29th may by paying 25, 000/- advance. Later i was informed that the name of new variants changed and opted for style for which i received quotation on 13th may in which the the insurance policy premium quoted was too high rs 87, 884/-.
                                        I have taken quotation for the insurance from my banker i. E hdfc bank for rs 52.100/- and informed the same to them by mail.
                                        At this juncture they delaying my delivery of my vehicle by insisting us to take the insurance policy from them for above said higher price.
                                        Being there is an auspicious event at my home i was expecting the delivery second of this month itself. I even postponed the purchase of car for one month as i was convinced about the new skoda facelift by sales people.
                                        Please let me know you sale policy regarding the insurance. Is it made compulsory to buy insurance only from your dealer? If so, why is difference in price of the policy. Please advice to go for further action.
